Where can I start? I have been coming here since i could eat ice cream, and it has never ever dissappointed. Such lovely staff and the best ice cream ever! When I get asked what I want to do that is based in chiswick fouberts is always apart of my plan it is affordable and so worth the price!

I've been a loyal customer of this family run ice cream shop for quite some time, always looking forward to enjoying their delightful flavors. Unfortunately, my experiences have been marred by consistently rude service from one particular staff member— the lady who owns the shop with her husband. Every time I visit, I can't help but notice her stark contrast in demeanor. Just today, for instance, I walked in and saw her beaming with joy while serving a white elderly gentleman ahead of me in line. It was almost as if she was putting on a show, chatting animatedly and making him feel special. However, as soon as he finished and it was my turn, her entire expression changed. The smile vanished, replaced by a frown, and I was met with nothing more than a half-hearted "What do you want?" There was no genuine greeting or warmth, just an icy reception that left me taken aback. After me there was a young white boy, which she greeted again with the same enthusiasm asking him about his holidays and proceeding to have general chit chat. This isn't an isolated incident; it's a pattern I’ve observed during my multiple visits. Her attitude raises questions about her biases—whether she's simply unfriendly or has a deeper issue with certain customers. It certainly feels as if she is either racist or Islamophobic, which is incredibly disheartening, especially in an area I grew up in and prides itself on diversity and inclusion. On a brighter note, I must commend her husband who also works at the shop. He is exceptionally lovely and always treats everyone with kindness and respect. His presence is a refreshing contrast to the her, and it’s clear he genuinely enjoys his job and values his customers. While the ice cream is certainly worth a visit, the rude service from this staff member has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope for the sake of her business she takes note of this consistent behaviour and considers making changes, as it could significantly improve the overall experience for customers and the retention of some of the most loyal customers of the shop. Overall she’s not a very nice person and we live in 2024 the world is changing she contributes to all the horrible things going on in the world. It would be nice to be greeted with a smile human to human!

I had the carbonara and my friend had the tortellini and it was the best we've ever had. We would had more if we could fit it in. The service was warm and welcoming and we received our food very fast as well. If you are ever in London. You need to go

They need to shut this place down. Yes nice family but it’s done. Everything is outdated from The decor to the food , cleanliness awful. Worst Ice cream ever, tasted stale like freezer burn with instant coffee specs in it. Total place needs revamped

What an amazing little cafe. Was looking for somewhere that just did a 'normal' English breakfast. Not that posh nosh rubbish you Londoners like! So happy to find this place. £9 for 'Full English'. Not quite a full English though. One chunky sausage, 2 bacon, egg which they did swap for a decent amount of scrambled, beans and a rack full of what tasted like proper buttery sourdough toast. Nice. So, no complaints about the food, apart from not being a full English and the decor is definitely old school, not sure if it's changed since it opened in 1978!! But that's what so nice about it. Looks to still be family run. Though not sure the waitress was happy to be there lol. Still recommend though if you want a decent breakfast.

Pizza was a bought/premade factory pizza base. It seemed like they had bought a pizza from waitrose (a very cheap range) and put some extra cheese on the top. Very bland. Service was very nice, but the elderly woman was actually quite rude. We got bothing but dirty looks from her, the other staff were all very very nice and accommodating.

Lovely food and service from Maria and Luciano and their team of workers putting together some very tasty and fresh food leaving us totally happy. Many thanks Fouberts in Chiswick
