Fountain square was a super fun surprise right across from our hotel. They have a bar for drinks, tables and chairs set up. They had live music on Saturday night when we attended. It was fun to see people enjoying the music and dancing. Grab some ice cream and enjoy the square next to it. Would be nice if they had a little more seating. Definitely worth checking out. The fountain is beautiful at night as well.

Google
Great place. I was here on a couple of different days and both times they had the tables and chairs out for you to take a seat. One day there was food trucks the other day there wasn't. Both days there was live music which was brilliant. Also went one of the evenings and still felt nice and safe there. Lovely little area

Google
Beautiful fountain. The 4 corner little fountains used to have cups as they give out purified drinking water. I loved that the fountain changed colors. There's also beautiful flowers all around and the area was very clean. I love this beautiful city of Cincinnati. As a first time visitor the rich culture all around the city in the old buildings and the rich history all around as well. Those that live in Cincinnati are blessed with a wonderful city.

Google
The Fountain Square is a beehive venue located right in the heart of Cincinnati City. A streetcar (tram in some countries) runs in a 3.6-mile loop around the city and rides free. There is a stop right at the front of the square. This venue is safe and accessible by wheelchairs, bikes, and carts, and one can rent a red bike (the traditional type) or an E-bike (electric). There is also a bus stop for the Metro buses that can connect you to all parts of the great Cincinnati. The square is worth a visit.

Fountain Square in Cincinnati is a beautiful and lively place, especially in the evening when the fountain lights up in bright colors. The atmosphere is festive, safe, and perfect for spending time with family or just relaxing. I loved the pink-lit fountain — it looked magical! There are plenty of seating areas and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

Google
We enjoy visiting Fountain Square whenever we travel to Cincinnati, especially in the wintertime as the ice skating rink is open for season. They have a wonderful atmosphere here that is nice and cozy in the heart of Cincinnati. They had the college bowl games playing on a big screen theater which was nice to enjoy with the crowd. There are a few food choices in the area as well, and of course it is next to the amazing Graeters Ice Cream! There is a parking garage underneath which offers easy parking to get in and out of the downtown area. Stop by and enjoy this great family event next time you are in Cincinnati!

Google
Went to a TequilaFest on the Square. Always a great place to visit. I absolutely Love the fountain! Great place to sit and contemplate, watch movies on the screen on the building across the street and plenty of places to go nearby

Nikki (Knox)

Google
Always love it, especially during the holidays. I've been bringing my kids down to see the giant Christmas tree since they were toddlers, and now they are graduating, have kids of their own, etc. Even outside of the holidays, it's great.. The fountain is absolutely beautiful and it's jam packed with restaurants and entertainment. A fun place.

Yelp
Located on a prominent city square since 1871, nestled in between Vine/Walnut Streets and Fifth/Sixth Streets in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Fountain Square is considered the epicenter of downtown. This 43-foot-tall, bronze-cast fountain was designed to look like the beautiful fountains found across Europe, made up of a nine-foot-tall woman, who is referred to as "The Lady" by locals, with human figures both big and small below and around her. Around the fountain were several different restaurants that were either on the square or bordered the square. I probably wouldn't have known what this place was if it weren't for the opening credits from "WKRP in Cincinnati," but my partner, his family, and I were glad to stop by.

Yelp
We stopped by on a Monday morning so not much was happening. We saw signs for food trucks, live music, and entertainment. I bet it's awesome when it's in full swing. But, it's still a beautiful fountain and it was worth just walking a few blocks over from our original destination to check it out.

Yelp
Great time at Fountain Square. It was right by our hotel, live music Saturday night from a great band for free. They have seating and a bar to get drinks if you want. You can bring in whatever food you want. Security kept it very nice and clean. People out on the dance floor as well. Overall super fun experience and looks like they host different events as well. The fountain is very pretty as well with lots of little details. Worth checking out!

Yelp
Stopped here prior to dinner reservations at the Davidson. There was a jazz band playing and the temperature was perfect. There's a bar on site that serves canned beer, seltzer & wine. Prices are standard prices for concert venues. Roughly $15 for a 16oz beer & 12 oz wine. Great summer vibes.

Yelp
Salsa on the Square every Thursday 7-10pm during the Summer! A great way to unwind and reset. Fun for all ages! Date night, solo, or with the family you will always have a dance partner if you want one. The bands are fantastic and from all over the world. Salsa and Bachata lessons are free at 7:40 and 8:40 each night. Mazunte has a regular food table and the tacos are always popping! PNG and 5/3 are to be thanked for sponsoring this Cincy staple Summer soirée. Great music, dancing and service!

Yelp
Very cool area in the middle of the city. Loved the open air space with a giant screen for anyone to come watch the football game for free. That came off as very caring for residents. There is a big stage where djs were playing at the time, too. The sound system was great - loud enough but not deafening. There are a lot of restaurants and businesses in the square including ice cream. I wish my city had something like this.

Yelp
I was in town for business and staying at the nearby Hilton. I was surprised that Fountain Square was so close, so I wandered over twice: once at lunchtime and once after dinner. They were having a Latin band performing in the evening and people were enjoying dancing and socializing. I probably wouldn't have known what this place was if it wasn't for the opening credits from "WKRP in Cincinnati" but I was glad I stopped by.

Yelp
Fountain Square has free events every night of the week during the summer! My favorite is Salsa on the Square on Thursdays. We came tonight for Indie Friday, and had a great time listening to the live music. They also do trivia earlier in the week. Check out their social media to see what they're doing each night! They also have a bar with a great selection of cans and some liquor options. Great place to check out if you're looking for something to do or a place to hang out downtown!

Yelp
This space is a downtown Cincinnati treasure and it's been such a joy to watch it develop and activate over the last few years. I recall my first time seeing it as being unremarkable but each time I've visited since it's evolved into a lovely front yard for the city. Currently it boasts outdoor heaters, seating, ice skating rink, kiosks and fabulous adjacent dining. You can tell it will be a fun weekend spot through the winter nights ahead. Bravo to all of those involved in bringing new life to this space!

Yelp
Fountain square located in a popular district of downtown cincinnati Ohio is a lovely sitting area surrounded by an amazing large fountain. Me and my family were on a weekend getaway to the city and right near the parking garage for our hotel we seen this amazing fountain and stopped by to take some photo opportunities and check it out. Seemed a lot of people we're sitting in the outdoor common area enjoying lunch on a beautiful day. Overall cool place and one the nicest and most creative fountain statues I've ever seen. Very nice addition to that area.

Yelp
Beautiful fountain in downtown Cincinatti, great spot for pictures. We were there in November weather was great, fountain was on and an outdoor ice skating ring is in the square area. There are other activities that happen in the square depending on their calendar day. Seating and small tables were available it was the perfect location to enjoy our coffee and pastries we bought from a location near by.

Yelp
If you are from Cincinnati and have not been to the Square-- what are you waiting for?! This is a highlight of Cincinnati, as it is not too far away from the Banks or the center of town. There is a parking garage right underneath the Square, as well as several restaurants around the perimeter. You can't miss Graeters or the Italian restaurant Via Vete--both have great views of the square. Not to mention, there are tons of events that happen at Fountain Square. Check out the calendar for the summer months, as they have salsa on the Square, as well as several bands that come in throughout the warm season. One of my favorite highlights? A statue of the 150th anniversary of the Reds--one of several of them located around town. If you are out and about in Cincinnati and want to just see a good picture of the town, start at Fountain Square. You are within walking distance of so many places around town. The fountain in the middle of the park is such an iconic statue for Cincinnati-- not to mention, the backdrop of a great photo shoot!

Yelp
Large beautiful fountain and a nice sitting area. Unfortunately we came here for the visitor center and they are no longer here.

Yelp
Just like Tyler said, Fountain Square is the heart of Cincinnati. Stand here and your in walking distance of all my favorite places. Stay across the street and enjoy the view of ice skating, salsa dancing, weiner dog races and just about anything else. You never know what tomorrow brings here. Hungry or thirsty...this is where you need to be. Or just need to sit down and relax...the fountain is perfect on a warm summer day. And Thanksgiving weekend they light the tree and Santa arrives. Enjoy your hot chocolate. Sometimes its so cold the Turkey Trot race beginning here encourages you to run faster to stay warm. Or just eat an extra donut like I do while watching. Still not convinced...just look at that photo of the lights at night. It''s a feel good place. And if you're anything like me...you can't get enough.

Yelp
I love Fountain Square! Every time I visit, there is something super cool going on here. This year included Salsa night and a concert with Soul Pocket! Even during the day when there's no events going on, this place is always hopping. Great to see the public space being used so much. The fountain is gorgeous and the lights just make it all look so cool at night. And of course... don't forget to visit Greaters before you leave the square!

Yelp
Fountain Square is basically Cincinnati's epicenter. A lot of events happen around here. There's often festivals in the summer. Nice place to take pictures. There's lots of places to eat and shop. It's pretty easy to find. It has a big statue in the fountain. The statue is of a woman and I'm not sure what it represents. It does look pretty beautiful. The square that surrounds it often has areas blocked off because something is going on. In October the city has Oktoberfest, so that gets a lot of attention. There's booths set up all over the place. In the summer there are many concerts. In winter there's an ice skating rink. There's plenty of parking spots.

Yelp
Fountain Square is a great spot in the heart of the city! A great spot for enjoying food and drink (especially when the food carts show up!), a great spot to hang out and catch some live music, and a great spot to people watch! (+) The fountain is stunning and is always great to see in person! At night it looks especially impressive with all the lights surrounding it! (+) Plenty of food options nearby, including Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, Skyline Chili, and Graeters! On one of the days I was visiting, they had food trucks lined up all around the square with some great eats available! (+) They had a free reggae concert also on of the days we stopped by! From what I hear, they frequently have live entertainment available down here as well! (+) With its central location, you are within walking distance to most landmarks downtown! It was like a 10-15 minute walk to the sports stadiums! (-) Much smaller than I remembered it. lol Fountain Square is a great spot to take in a great bite, some good music, and some outstanding people watching! Plus a visit to Cincy wouldn't be complete without seeing that fountain! (*WKRP theme plays in my head as I type this* lol) 4 solid stars!

Yelp
Fountain Square is a keystone landmark of downtown Cincinnati. We visited this past weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather and eat dinner. We brought some carryout with us and sat at the tables on the north end of the square. The stage renovations and new bar really made a difference in how the Square looks as a whole. We all got a beer from the bar, and prices were very reasonable- it was $7 for a "tall boy" craft beer. The fountain is always so beautiful and Cincinnati is lucky to have such a beautiful centerpiece to our city. It was lively and busy on the square and just a great night to be out and enjoying downtime life.

Yelp
The Times Square of Cincinnati, you could say? Just kidding...but it is basically the tourist hub. It's a small but beautiful space with a large fountain, and offers all kinds of things to do and restaurants around it. A lot of the restaurants are tourist-y chains, but there is the classic Graeter's and the Carew Tower nearby. Also, if you come here in the winter time there is usually an ice skating rink. I haven't been on it but it looks like tons of fun! You'll also find all kinds of events going on in the summer.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
One of my favorite sightseeing spots in central Cinncy. It's surrounded by lots of great historical buildings, art, and good eats! Recommend getting some Graeter's Ice Cream right in the square and then lounging out at the sitting area by the fountain. During the winter time they open ice skating in the center of the square. You can also park under the square so you won't have far to walk to enjoy the sights. At night time they have carriage rides, sometimes concerts/live music, and lots of other events, https://myfountainsquare.com/events/

Yelp
Fountain square is in the middle of the city and surrounded by hotels this a great spot to relax a bit. Whenever I am in Dowtown Cincy, this where I like to sit and people watch! Get some Graeter's Ice Cream and have a seat. The fountain is huge and just nice too look at. Basic tourist spot - there is always something going on... whenever I am in the city - they usually have a stage set up and tons of chairs - just a fun spot!
google avatar

Harish V.

Yelp
Cool Spot to hang out in downtown.Ice skating rink ,Christmas Tree and Christmas shopping stalls are setup. Lot of food stores around with Graeters Ice cream being the closest. Lot if street and paid parking. The statue in middle of the square is a delight to watch with colors changing every 3 secs.

Yelp
Fountain Square is the heart of our city. Engraved at the bottom of the Tyler-Davidon fountain reads "To the people of Cincinnati." The genius of water stands high above with water raining from her hands. Whether you're visiting for entertainment, dining, festivals, protests, salsa, trivia, farmer's markets, you'll find the pulse of Cincinnati on Fountain Square. Etched into wall close to some of the stairs reads a stanza from a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, "An Ode To Catawba Wine," the first piece of writing that coined Cincinnati "The Queen of the West." Fountain Square makes me proud to be a Cincinnatian. It is part of what makes Cincinnati feel like home. It may just be a public square with a fountain, but it is the focal point of our city and brings us together not in spite of, but because of our differences and unites us in the commonality that we are proud to be a part of the Queen City.

Yelp
A big fancy fountain in downtown Cincinnati! But this one comes with a GIANT tv on the side of a neighboring building that plays football games! And a stage for concerts! And WIFI!! It's nice, it is fairly clean, and there are public restrooms.

Yelp
Let's get one thing straight... after experiencing so many amazing fountains and community spaces in Philly over the summer, my fount-a-space experiences are foggy. Enter Cincinnati... a place that I already have a grudge against because my Steelers are obviously the superior team in a superior conference. Cincinnati has many things to offer, but pro sports... bahahahahaha. Anyway.. about this fountain; It's cool enough I guess. I brought up my Steelers because walking up to the fountain I noticed folks in Steelers gear sitting and standing around. I start questioning what city I'm in because I know a large chunk of Ohio(With Cincy and Cleveland) despises the black and yellow. Was I dreaming? I turn around and see a stage where I presume concerts are held. Cool spot right in the middle of a busy downtown to have concerts. At that moment, I look up... THERE'S A LARGE TV on the Macy's building facing the square! It's Sunday! The Steelers game is on! It's on an enormous television in the middle of a city that hates them... YES PLEASE! On a more serious note, if I lived in Cincinnati... I'd easily come to this square every Sunday to watch football even when my team wasn't on. That's a cool feature that I wish the Yum! center would replicate here in Louisville... we have the screen! Put football on it! In short, it's always awesome to have these spaces in any city. Some cities just do them better than others.
google avatar

Niki B.

Yelp
Such a nice public space in the middle of the city center! The fountain is amazing - water raining down from a woman's hands. #feminism. A big stage was also being set up in the square and there were tons of outdoor cafe tables and chairs, signifying that it's probably a great spot to hang out for local concerts and events. At night, the square is well-lit and colorful, and did I mention... Graeter's Ice Cream is located here too.. that's really all you need to know!
google avatar

Yelp
Fabulous "over 50" event today on Fountain Square. Free, 10am-2pm. Lots of booths with great information, as well as free lunch at Chipotle at the AARP booth!
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
As much as the Cincy locals seem to bash the square, as a transplant I think it is a gem! So much goes on here throughout the year and its a great central part of the city. On this occasion I came for the ice skating. The cost is cheap and you can skate as long as your little heart desires. Other notable features: -Summer concert series and midpoint -Watch Bengals/reds games on the big screen -Macys Christmas tree -Beer and wine tasting/fests -farmers market and so much more! Parking underneath is usually around $5 depending on the event and day/time. Enjoy the beautiful fountain and light show on the adjoining building.

Yelp
Neat little park area in downtown Cincinnati where they put on music and other shows especially during the summer for free to the public. This park is located right in the middle of four or five mainline hotels (e.g. the Hilton and Westin face the square) and a number of nearby office building complexes in the center of downtown Cincinnati. Since it is surrounded by hotels and offices, visitors and city peeps flock to the venue to see the music performed in the evening during the summer. The park doesn't hold thousands of people, but then the music isn't by Las Vegas performers. We attended a Reds ballgame at Great American Ball Park and walked back to our hotel...right next to Fountain Square. We spent the rest of the night listening to the music, which on our night happened to be reggae. There are a few dozen tables spread around the square in front of the music stage...with chairs. You can buy a beer or wine and sit and listen to the music or buy food from the food trucks or other establishments located around the square. Either way this is a real laid back way to enjoy the inner city of Cincinnati. Adults, kids, street peeps, everything. Besides the music/stage and the historic fountain, they project the Reds ballgame against one of the downtown buildings...and when the Reds aren't playing they project some other athletic activity (e.g. the Bengals) or the current news. This TV projection goes on all day and is a pretty neat addition to the ambiance of the area. If you are in Cincinnati especially at the hotels in this downtown area do make a stop at Fountain Square to check out what they are showing that night.

Yelp
Being from out of town, I had read that Fountain Square is the symbolic center of Cincinnati. So I was certainly going to check it out when I traveled to Cincinnati for the first time. All I can say is that it's a central area in the heart of the city. They had tables and chairs where you can eat lunch. People were sitting down talking and hanging out. It was relatively crowded for a mid week afternoon. Other than that, it's just an iconic landmark. The fountain was not turned on while I was there. Maybe that would have made things more majestic. I had also read that they do host events in the square which may make this place more popular than your average tourist randomly exploring it for the first time and expecting a lot to see. But in the end, it was nice to catch a glimpse of what Fountain Square was all about.

Yelp
Always something happening here. From light up Cincinnati and a skating ring to movies and music groups/dance routines. Often has beer or food booths. Cincinnati fountain is the centerpiece. During lunch people eat outside here. I saw Ronald Reagan here many years ago.

Yelp
Did you know that you and your friends can skate at an outdoor ice arena in the middle of downtown? Yep, you sure can! Every year from November 7 through February 15, UC Health and Fifth Third Bank present an outdoor ice arena that takes over Fountain Square. It is so much fun to get on the ice and feel like a kid again that must learn how to skate. It is even funnier when you go with a small group of friends and everyone is out on the ice looking like babies trying to walk. Do not bother with a workout for the day because you will get the perfect leg day workout going around the rink 3 times. LOL! I hit the ice rink like I was Kristi Yamaguchi! HAHA, more like her student in training! Nonetheless, while I have no skills close to Kristi, I had a ball ice skating to celebrate a friend's birthday! Ice skating is a fun holiday activity. It brought me joy while skating around the rink and the cool air grazed across my face. It reminded me of being a kid and just being free, enjoying life's beautiful moments. While I did it with a small group of girlfriends, ice skating can also be enjoyed with family. There were a few families and smaller children out on the rink as well. There were also COVID-19 precautions such as wearing a mask and time slots. You purchase tickets online or at the rink, for a 1-hour time slot. I loved that we were able to have fun while still being safe. If you are looking for an outdoor activity that is unique and whimsical, ice skating at Fountain Square is for you!
google avatar

Arpita S.

Yelp
This place is the center of all the activities in the Cincinnati downtown. Spring, summer, fall or winter. If you are new and don't know what to do, head to the fountain square. I happened to be introduced to this place in winter and got to see what downtown skating is all about. Huge Christmas tree and new year fireworks. There are even restrooms right outside at the entrance. This place is surrounded by Macy's, amazing steakhouse and skyscraper building. Look forward to what this place has to offer in summers. Cleanliness could be a bit better. It is one of the most touristy places in downtown maybe they can make it more visually appealing.
google avatar

Virgil G.

Yelp
There's a fountain. It does fountain things. There are people. They do people things, including taking their picture at the fountain. I'm pretty sure the fountain exists only for people to take pictures. The fountain was dedicated in 1871. The first selfie was taken in 1839, by Robert Cornelius. The term selfie was first used in 2002. This fountain was made for selfies. I see no other purpose for the fountain.

Yelp
Fountain Square is an AMAZING central hub to all the hot action downtown cincinnati see's aside from the sports. It is a location to mingle with strangers or meet up with good friends and enjoy music, dance. When the action is not on the square directly then in on their big screen displaying the fireworks and sports games. I love Fountain Square with it's gorgeous fountain (ahem hence the name :P ) and access to yummy restaurants, ice cream, and martinis.. Great place for the summer fun.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Fountain Square is right in the center of it all in Cincy! What it all is....That's debateable. There is some touristy stuff around but it's also a congreting space for interesting characters. I had some fun bouncing around taking photos around the fountain in the center of the square and people watching. It's a nice little spot to kick up your feet and take in the locals. I could imagine this would be a great space for local events and festivals. I wouldn't call this a destination spot though. If you're going to Carew Tower or something else in the downtown area, then by all means pop on over. Otherwise, save your energy & time and go somewhere a bit more cool.
google avatar

Molly K.

Yelp
Fountain square is definitely a must- see when visiting Cincinnati. They always have fun events going on and in the winter they have an ice skating rink. It costs $6 for admission and $4 for skates which is pretty average. I definitely suggest going on a weekday when it first opens because it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. They do zamboni about every 2 hours but the rink gets scratched fast with all the people. The time I went I felt there were a lot of beginner skaters compared to the NKY ice skating rink so watch out for the falling children. It's definitely a fun experience though and I recommend going even if it aren't a skater they have a heated tent to watch as well as concessions.

Yelp
Great place to hang out. Located in the heart of the city - and rather the heart of the city - you have so many restaurants, bars, pubs, Greater's Ice Cream, Macy's, and a lot more. This is the place to visit if you are in Cincinnati. At the square, if you are coming in summers, you'll find P&G music stage where there are music performances - especially on Fridays and weekends - and many other activities. You may also find food trucks around. If you are coming in winters, there is an ice skating rink which charges about $20 per hour and you can enjoy ice skating. There are chairs and tables always where you can bring your food and enjoy. There are horse carriages on Vine Street which will take you for a tour. In addition, most of the downtown action happens at Fountain Square or close to that. On 6th Street, right behind Fountain Square, you'll find tons of restaurants serving Mexican, Indian, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean cuisine.

Yelp
What a fun spot! The fountain at night is lit up and very Beautiful. We walked over from our hotel and were instantly sucked in to the atmosphere. The free concert series brought a great soul band. They were fantastic! Everyone was dancing and singing, just enjoying themselves. There are several restaurants nearby and a Graeter's ice cream. A must see if you're in the area!
google avatar

Hollyann H.

Yelp
I love hanging out at Fountain Square when there is something actually going on. I love the Indie series they have on Friday's during the summer. You get to see amazing bands for free. They have a giant tv screen on one of the buildings that usually has the reds game on, which I love. They usually also have a food truck or two down there for big events as well. It's a cool place to hang out with people and have a drink, enjoy the scenery that is Fountain Square. Check Fountain Square's website and event page and there's usually something going on there every night during the summer. The Tyler Davidson fountain is gorgeous and is the statement piece and reason that Fountain Square is what it is. It's my favorite part of being there. The cons are that when it's packed, it's PACKED. Also, that the drinks are expensive and ridiculous but that comes with the territory of being owned/ran by 3CDC.

Yelp
So I park here at least once a week and yesterday while at the mercantile library I totally forgot to get my credit card OR cash before leaving home after changing my clothes. Needless to say, I didn't have the cash to pay the $6 for parking they were asking. I embarrassingly went to the attendant (Gary) and explained my situation. I apologized and he was able to validate my ticket and I did not have to pay anything. this place gets money out of me every week so I didn't feel bad about not paying. I felt just a little ditzy though. I enjoy all of the events the have at fountain square but I mainly use the place for parking when I'm downtown and last night Gary was my guardian angel! This could have turned out totally different. 5 stars for customer service and consistent positive experiences! Not so humbly submitted, King Michael C.

Yelp
Beautiful, safe area. There is only one fountain to view. There are tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Yelp
One of Cincinnati's known landmarks and a great place to people watch in the city. Lots of options for lunch on the square and different food trucks. I came down for salsa night but they have a lot of different activities during the summer different days just check out myfountainsquare.com for events updated daily. Ice skating during winter months is one of my favorites!

Yelp
When I visit the Fountain Square in Cincinnati at weekend, there is a music festival going on. With lots of people dancing, singing and enjoying themselves at the square, there was lots of positive energies spreading. The square is surrounded by bunch of tall office buildings and department stores. I assume at week days there are lots of white collars taking a break here at lunch hours, which is pretty nice. I especially love the Tyler Davidson Fountain in the middle. The 43-foot-tall fountain is so beautiful and detailed, hard to believe it's been more than 140 yrs old. The contrast between the Greek style fountain and the colorful crowd, with all the modern buildings at background creates some wonderful moments for the photographers. Simply love the setting. Too bad that I only has 10 minutes in the square. I wish I had brought my DLSR with me and spent more time at the square.

Yelp
What a gorgeous fountain! It was my first time visiting an I'm glad I got to see it on such a bright sunny day!

Yelp
Overall, I like Fountain Square. I like walking down to the square and all the stuff that's always going on. Really, it's a nice and convenient place for things to happen. I think it's REALLY dumb to have a big TV there and I think it's even more dumb that dogs can't attend concerts. Like where is Yetta supposed to get her culture? Well, I find it stupid the way dogs aren't allowed in restaurants, but I understand. Why no dogs at an outdoor concert, though? And you know what else? Those horse and carriage rides have to stop. Those are dangerous to the horse and they're animal abuse. They're always parked around Fountain Square advertising that we're a city of monsters. I don't like that at all. I once saw an anti-abortion thing at Fountain Square. Like the city will put that kind of garbage out, but they'll allow horses to be abused? WTF is up with that? Does the KKK still come to Fountain Square for a rally every year? I'm rounding up with this review. Some cool things happen here, but also some horrifying and embarrassing things. I like pigeons, though. There are a lot of pigeons.

Yelp
The fountain is absolutely gorgeous, but as with many spots in cities, the pigeons were out in force. It's a cool spot on a hot day and surprisingly doesn't have much of a city feel even though you are smack dab in the middle of Cincinnati. Cleanliness was the only issue, but what can be expected in a public space.

Yelp
This place is beautiful at night. I want to ice skate hope to do it before we leave. This is a must see. However, lots of people pretending to be homeless here. The reality is they are hooked on heroine here. So sad they make this place hard to get to and enjoy without constantly being asked to fork over money for their habits. Must see but prepared to say no. Since Cincinnati has such a high crime rate I don't carry anything of value with me. The police are amazing here. I wish Hawaii police were there to protect and serve us like Cincinnati police. They have proven that they care and genuinely want to help. I have never been so happy to brag about police officers but here in Cincinnati they take the badge seriously. I wish they could send some Aloha to Hawaii police officers.

Yelp
Dedicated in 1871 as a memorial to Cincinnati businessman Tyler Davidson, this monumental fountain has been an icon of the Queen City since its debut. August von Kreling designed the monument with the purpose of glorifying the ingenuity of humankind, but could not put his vision into fruition until he received patronage from Henry Probasco, Tyler Davidson's brother-in-law and business partner. Mr. Probasco was seeking the perfect monument to serve as a memorial to his late colleague and family member. The theme of the fountain is the celebration of the many uses, both practical and playful, of water. Made with nearly 24 tons of bronze and 85 tons of granite, the fountain's centerpiece is the famous "Genius of Water," a lovely maiden with outstretched arms from which streams of water flow. Surrounding "The Lady" are scenes depicting human's pragmatic use of water, while the outer figures with animals show the fun side of water. It was these outer sculptures that once served as working drinking fountains. After the fountain's renovation and reopening in 2006, the Tyler Davidson Fountain is once again the spectacular emblem of the city of Cincinnati.
