"It’s a slice curious as to why Four Hundred Rabbits hasn’t attained the celebrity of new age London chains Pizza Pilgrims and Homeslice. Its pizzas fit the bill: good sourdough, inventive combinations, lots of craft beer, commendable sourcing. Four Hundred Rabbits gets its charcuterie from Cannon & Cannon (has done for a while), uses San Marzano tomatoes (oh yes, there’s that telltale sweetness), and tops its pies with fior di latte. Word is the higher fat content creates a more thrilling ooze. Provenance and wood fired ovens aside, honestly, the pizza is beautiful. There’s a restaurant in Peckham, too, but plans to open in West Norwood fell through in March this year. Watch this space." - Josh Barrie

We eat here quite a lot in person and it's always great quality but decided to order takeaway for the first time last night and it was awful. We paid £45 for 2 pizzas with extra toppings and a garlic bread, but the quality was way off what we usually experience here. One of the pizzas was supposed to come with extra mozzarella and one with vegan sausage, both at an added cost of £2 each, but there was pretty much no trace of either as you can see in the photos. There were maybe 4 or 5 extremely tiny pieces of sausage on one and absolutely no trace of the mozzarella, with very sparse toppings overall. We could hardly even tell which was which when they arrived. The image with the single pizza is the one that supposedly has £2 of sausage on it. We felt pretty badly ripped off and disappointed considering the fact that it cost so much, will definitely not be ordering takeaway from here again and will be reconsidering visiting the restaurant anymore.

Had an impromptu birthday celebration here for my daughter's birthday - they handled a joyful bunch of kids very well indeed. Thank you FRANCESCA! Everyone enjoyed their pizzas which arrived in a timely fashion. Haven't been for a while but would go back again for sure.

Nice Local Pizzeria on my partners day off in-between the School run with our baby daughter. Gentleman who served us very polite, happy and baby friendly :) We ordered 2 cheeky Margheritas I had The Anchovy & My partner The Dirty Vegan Pizza. Nice place & pizzas came out fast. Would come again x

A delightful evening at Four Hundred Rabbits, recommended by a friend and hasn’t disappointed, second visit but first to the Crystal Palace address, great service by all. One small bit of feedback would be the chilli oil could be hotter, resembled olive oil rather than chilli

Popped in for a late dinner. Staff were friendly & recommended the peppers for a starter, loved the taste of them with the crushed salt - tastier than olives. Ordered the Beef pizza & the Dirty Vegan. Both cooked nice, sour dough base was excellent. I loved the Beef pizza with the ground mince. For dessert we had the vegan coconut & the very rich vegan chocolate ice cream. Also the brownie with the recommended Milk ice cream (like the Mini Milk lollies), all made in house. Definitely worth a visit, especially in groups.

I always get a basic Margherita Pizza in every pizza place I visit the first time. If you get a an excellent Margherita Pizza, you can expect excellent quality in the rest of their pizzas. And the Margherita Pizza here was nothing short of stellar. The sourdough bread was flavorful, the tomato sauce rich. The basil was fresh and made me realize just how important fresh basil is for this kind of pizza. It was presented neatly, and overall was a delightful experience enjoying this pizza. I also enjoyed their cheesy garlic pizza bread. Delightfully rich and hearty. My only issue with it is that it's a little bit too expensive. That said, if you want good quality, I fully recommend this menu.
