"Four Hundred Rabbits pizzas are not your usual suspects. There’s a goat’s cheese and rhubarb-topped one, an all-vegan three cheese and sausage one, plus your standard tomato and meat covered go-tos. They’re dotted around south, with locations in Nunhead, Crystal Palace, West Norwood, and Herne Hill too." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
Where To Eat When Cycling Is Your Whole Personality
"You know what would be a hazard on the roads? Four Hundred Rabbits. Luckily, this is a pizza spot in Brockwell Lido, not a high-stakes obstacle course. Stop by for interesting sourdough pizza toppings—anchovy and rhubarb and goat cheese—and the chance to visit the nearby velodrome. There are bike hoops outside the lido but also plenty of space in the cafe for your two-wheeled friend, should the separation anxiety prove too strong. " - sinead cranna
Where To Eat Near London's Best Lidos and Swimming Spots
"Four Hundred Rabbits, the south London sourdough pizza favourite, has a very convenient spot in The Lido Cafe. The pizzas are lovely, the location couldn't be better, and there's a hefty natural wine, cocktail, and craft beer list to check out. Although we'd recommend you do that after you attempt the butterfly, not before." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna
Good vibes only 🌻. Visited several times this summer and greatly enjoyed my time in this venue. Location is perfect for a nice hot day out. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere created by the lovely members of staff. Special thanks to our host V, she did a great job making us feel welcomed every time we visited.

Went to the kiosk by the poolside several times over the summer. The pizza is fantastic but my constructive feedback is to please ask your staff to at least display some basic courtesy. Most times they barely said anything and did not make eye contact or smile. On two occasions the young woman who was serving literally did not say a single word to me when taking my order and payment and just looked really unfriendly and disinterested. It’s just rude and spoils the experience unfortunately. Other than that loved the food!

Awesome place: healthy vegan pizza, quick service and lovely atmosphere - your table is overlooking the lido and there are cute decorations all around in the cafe, even old pictures of the lido! The vegan bratwurst sausage was delicious, so was the courgette on the pizza! I'll definitely be coming back!

Great crispy pizza with interesting flavours and fabulous service. We were greeted at the door and could choose whether to sit inside or out. We chose outside, though it is a little weird looking over at people swimming. I had the rhubarb pizza which was fun to try, a little too sweet for my taste, but paired well with the goats cheese.

Pizza was good, but our server couldn’t have cared less about serving us, we had to get our own menus, go up to the counter to order, and get our own cutlery, and they weren’t that busy with a empty tables. Our server refused us coffee at 3:40 when they are supposed to offer it until 4pm. He was miserable and unfriendly. We never do this but we removed the service, he was that bad, when we left, he was hunched over his phone.

Great setting of course but absolutely dull ‘thrown’ together pizza - £28 for 2, nah, way not good enough. No care no attention just lazy.

I’m not usually a fan of pineapple on pizza but I actually loved theirs - it wasn’t in chunks and it added some sweetness which went really well with the rest of the toppings - mozzarella, smoked pancetta, pineapple & chipotle ketchup, kimchi & chill!
We finished with some pistachio & cacao nib and black cherry sorbet which was delicious and perfect in the heat!

Place looks cool and inviting, the staff were great and very welcoming. The only thing that let it down was the food. I found it was just a bit cold and soggy, it was not too bad but definitely noticeable.
