"Having worked with various teams within the hotel group for years, Chef Li hailing from Tianjin makes sure every top-notch ingredient is prepared meticulously in his kitchen. The main menu focuses on Cantonese fare, but regulars may refer to another menu for popular dishes they miss. Chef Li is especially proud of his signature wok-fried prawns with fermented black garlic and dried chillies. The wine list also features some great selections." - Michelin Inspector

"This venerable hotel may seem underwhelming at first, but wait till you see the soaring inner atrium adorned by a cascade of butterfly sculptures. Enjoy the infusion made by a tea master at an oasis of calm known as the Tea Garden; or sip alcoholic concoctions at the smart and stylish Opus Lounge. Rooms are lavishly and classically furnished, all featuring a tub with a view." - Tablet Hotels

This is a great place to stay if you find yourself traveling in Beijing. Stayed here for a few days on the way to Thailand and overall have been very impressed. The front desk were very welcoming and made the check in super smooth. The room was large, pristine and with all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. ||The breakfast was great, staff were very polite and attentive, and the food was quite tasty (bread and butter pudding was my favorite). ||Staff were helpful with advice on getting around and avoiding high traffic events. It’s also been pretty convenient to get around places in central and east Beijing as well, like Guomao and Sanlitun. ||I’d usually want to try out different hotels for the experience, but this time I’ve already booked my next stay here for when I come back from Thailand.

Four seasons is just that good at never disappointing. Fantastic from start to finish, never cutting corners. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and on different occasions they left her messages wishing her a happy birthday, on top of surprising her with a cake and balloons on arrival in the room. We were upgraded to a bigger room on the 8th floor, which was very spacious, with a couch, a very comfortable bed, a large glass desk, and an enormous bathroom. We opted for the breakfast buffet throughout our stay, and well, if you dreamt of any food overnight, you'll find it there waiting for you in the morning. Absolutely splendid selection and soothing atmosphere in the breakfast area.|The service offered by the staff is top notch.|You can ask them anything through the four seasons app or text them directly on iMessage, the responses are rapid and informative. They found a sushi restaurant for us and made us a reservation, all within a few minutes, perfect. We had a plan to go to visit the Great Wall, and the staff was kind enough to let us know the best spots to visit on that specific day without even asking.|Housekeeping is the best, quick to respond to any additional requests and leaving the room sparkling clean. My wife left her glasses on the bed, and we returned to a four seasons branded cleaning wipe for her glasses with a hand written note from the housekeeper. Four seasons Beijing thank you for an absolutely perfect stay, I can't wait to visit more four seasons hotels on my future holidays. Every single person made a positive impact on our stay, but a special thanks to Ethan Li.

Excellent welcoming check-in. Ann was friend, an informative and efficient. The room was beautifully decorated with stone, wood, and glass as expected from Four Seasons Hotel. The amenities were enjoyable and the bed was so luxurious- no hotel bed potholes here. The Breakfast had variety of both eastern and western dishes and they were all delicious. The only reason this hotel is getting a 9/10 stars is because there is a mild mustiness due to the high humidity in the room and hallway detracting from a most lovely experience. We will definitely return.

I had a truly exceptional stay at the Four Seasons. The service was impeccable — housekeeping noticed I needed a mouse pad and thoughtfully brought one without me even asking. The front desk staff saw I wasn’t feeling well and kindly sent up a warm honey tea, which was such a considerate gesture.||The property itself is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. Every corner reflects the attention to detail you’d expect from a Four Seasons. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city, along the landmark river, with everything easily accessible.||Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, their warmth and professionalism made a lasting impression. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Beijing and we have great memories from this amazing hotel. Excellent pre arrival communication via app and email with the concierges, responsive and informed. Great location Chaoyang - close to all tourist areas by DiDi but out of the touristic fray and very local - beautiful canal walk and restaurants around and behind the hotel. As well, some of the best restaurants in Beijing are in this neighborhood. ||While the hotel is a little dated in terms of style (early 2000s - renovations are on the boards) the upkeep is immaculate and the artwork throughout is spectacular (look closer at the nail and thread mural in the dining room, the brush paintings everywhere). Rooms have everything you want: lots of space, a great bed, powerful drenching rain shower, fabulous bath with a view, and lovely turndown amenities. Substance over style (although the style is ultimately fine). The lounge is excellent and worth it. The Pool is worth a visit for downtime - decent size for indoor upper level, great views and nice hot tub.||As expected with Four Seasons, the staff is amazing, a credit to GM Lily Wang (who is fabulous and wonderful in her own right!). Warm, enthusiastic, friendly, professional, no request was ever too great and where English was a bit difficult they always made the effort. Leo and Chris at the concierge desk, Rebecca with Guest Relations and her intern, the team at all the restaurants, the lovely Cathy’s in the lounge, effective service with such warmth, humor and grace. ||The restaurants are really really good. The breakfast buffet had extensive Chinese and western choices. The wontons, fresh tofu, dimsum all very good. Lunch is great too - best hainanese chicken rice ever! Dinner at Cai Yi Xuan - fantastic. Wonderful, friendly, professional staff and superior food. ||Tours through the hotel are a must do. Our guide Lucy was excellent, the car and driver were great (BMW 7). Did the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and the Olympics Site. She adjusted the set tours we took to our needs, helped with getting cell data set up, gave good recommendations for activities. Lucy was knowledgeable and fun, freely shared her own experiences of life in China which gave an intimate personal perspective on the historical narrative of the places we visited. ||Last but not least Lily, the modest, lovely and amazing GM of this Four Seasons, along with her excellent team, gave us memories to last a lifetime. Many thanks and until next time….

Outstanding Value and Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended for International Travelers in Beijing Four Seasons Beijing stands out for its highly efficient, fast, and excellent service standards, combined with outstanding value for money. Within the Four Seasons group, the service standard here is especially high – there are always enough staff to ensure fast, efficient, and attentive support. The Concierge team was outstanding, flawlessly organizing every detail and removing any language barriers. The Signature Room with private terrace is truly worth it – this exclusive outdoor space provides a major upgrade to the stay, and I recommend every guest to book it. The Club Level offered excellent food, drinks, and a calm atmosphere that never felt crowded. Facilities like the Tea Garden, pool, and gym reinforced the sense of the hotel as an ideal oasis in a major city – a place to retreat comfortably at any time. A perfect choice for international travelers seeking comfort, support, and genuine care in the heart of Beijing. The hotel features a beautiful interior design with many impressive artworks, creating a refined sense of historical charm. For Four Seasons enthusiasts, it is truly a must-visit, as somr iconic photos featured on the Four Seasons website were taken here.
