"Having worked with various teams within the hotel group for years, Chef Li hailing from Tianjin makes sure every top-notch ingredient is prepared meticulously in his kitchen. The main menu focuses on Cantonese fare, but regulars may refer to another menu for popular dishes they miss. Chef Li is especially proud of his signature wok-fried prawns with fermented black garlic and dried chillies. The wine list also features some great selections." - Michelin Inspector

"This venerable hotel may seem underwhelming at first, but wait till you see the soaring inner atrium adorned by a cascade of butterfly sculptures. Enjoy the infusion made by a tea master at an oasis of calm known as the Tea Garden; or sip alcoholic concoctions at the smart and stylish Opus Lounge. Rooms are lavishly and classically furnished, all featuring a tub with a view." - Tablet Hotels

We had an amazing stay here and honestly can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and truly treated us like family. Lili (the general manager), Rebecca, and Melody were all incredible, and even the housekeeper was so kind and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed in our room, greeted us at breakfast, and even helped make my partner’s birthday really special with thoughtful arrangements. We felt so well taken care of the entire stay. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We just stayed at the Four Seasons in Beijing, and we are absolutely blown away. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was on a level we’ve never experienced before. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed. We were especially touched when General Manager Lili Wong personally greeted us during our stay—such a warm and memorable gesture that truly stood out. How she recognised us despite having a President and his delegation staying in the hotel at the same time, is simply beyond us! What made this stay extraordinary were the many thoughtful gestures, both big and small, that the team arranged for our special occasion. Each one was heartfelt, beautifully executed, and made us feel truly celebrated. Thank you Ethan :) The ambiance throughout the hotel is serene and luxurious, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the attention to detail is unmatched. Our suite was stunning, with exceptional amenities that made our stay as comfortable as it was memorable. This experience has set a new benchmark for us. After staying here, we honestly cannot imagine staying anywhere else—Four Seasons has earned our loyalty for life. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Four Seasons Beijing team for creating a stay that was truly par excellence. We can’t wait to return.

The service in this hotel is incredible! All staff is very friendly and helpful. If you have an issue or any questions, it will be fixed immediately. Even the staff we never met are just unbelievably caring. I received this note (attached) from my room attendant Joyce, who did an amazing job and showed care by paying close attention to my needs and wants. And leaving this note made my heart melt. Thank you Joyce and the whole Four Seasons Beijing Team for such an experience and an unforgettable stay with you. Truly could not be any better than this!

I stayed for 4 nights at the hotel as part of my first visit to mainland China. ||I have stayed at almost 30 Four Seasons hotels and, whilst this may not be the most attractive or most polished, it was certainly one of the most friendly and helpful. ||The staff, particularly at a senior level (e.g. Rebecca and Adele) were exceptional. ||On checking in, my room smelled of smoke despite the hotel being a non-smoking property. Rebecca ensured that I was moved and up graded to a suite to apologise for the inconvenience that I had experienced. She regularly checked that I was satisfied with my stay. ||The only compliant that I had related to a tour which the hotel arranged for me. I felt that the tour was slightly mis-sold and poor value for money. ||All in all, I would highly recommend a stay at the hotel if you value good service and customer recognition.

Great hotel in a great part of Beijing. My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it. Although the hotel is older than many other Four Seasons, with slightly dated rooms, the standard is still high. The beds are very comfortable and the house keeping is excellent. The pool and spa area is fantastic and one of the very best in Beijing. All staff are extremely polite and hospitable. Beijing is a fantastic city and so is this hotel. Highly recommended.I lived in Beijing for four years in the past so have seen many other hotels and feel this is still a great choice. We will definitely return soon.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay, hotel breakfast is truly outstanding for not just its vast selection but the quality is a cut above all the other five-star hotels (have stayed at the more expensive Rosewood, Aman, and others) in the city, great way to start each day. Hotel staff and concierge very warm and accommodating, always eager to assist and many instances of going above and beyond to please which creates a lot of positive and good vibes and makes the entire stay feel elevated. Room was spotlessly clean and very elegantly appointed, they also have an assortment of different types of sleep pillows, just need to ask for the type you prefer. Room service food was gourmet quality. Bank of China ATM (which in my experience allows higher cash withdrawal amounts than any other bank ATM in China from foreign banking accounts) is conveniently located on the second floor and available 24 hours. One experience that stood out was upon leaving the hotel one day (for a private tour that was purchased off the hotel website), Rebecca, the Guest Experience Manager, kindly showed concern when she noticed I wasn't wearing any jacket or coat and mentioned it was going to be quite cold outside that day. When I laughed and mentioned I'd be okay since I'm usually not that sensitive to cold and it became apparent I wouldn't be returning to my room to grab a jacket or coat, she immediately informed one of her colleagues to run to the back and grab the coat of one of their colleagues from the back as she insisted I bring it with me. As it turns out, it turned out to be VERY cold that entire day and if I didn't have the warm coat they so generously lent to me from one of their colleagues, I definitely would have been freezing! While I have heard hotel staff from other hotels in China mention to me that I might want to consider dressing warmer (before heading out), this was the first time where a hotel went out of their way and took direct action to actually ensure I would not feel cold by using quick and creative thinking to grab any available coat/jacket available that moment to give to me, basically treating me like a family member, following their instincts, and saving me from catching a cold that day. These sorts of random acts of kindness from their hotel staff was something that happened frequently over the course of the stay and definitely left a lasting impression!

Staying at the Four Seasons marked the final leg of our trip through China — and the fourth hotel of our journey. While we stayed in several luxurious properties, the Four Seasons was probably our least favorite. Despite carrying the renowned Four Seasons name, the hotel feels somewhat dated and could use a bit more upkeep. Its location, near the Embassies District, gives it more of a business-oriented atmosphere. It’s also at least 20 minutes — and more realistically about half an hour — from central Beijing, especially with traffic. That said, the service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The staff provided warm welcomes, thoughtful personal touches, and exceptional hospitality throughout our stay.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. The Four Seasons Beijing team made every moment of our trip exceptional, no detail went unnoticed. From the warm welcome at check-in (literally we were coming from 70 degree weather in the US to 30 degree temps in Beijing) to guided tours, spot-on restaurant recommendations and reservations, memorable onsite dining, and the many thoughtful surprises celebrating my birthday and our family time during the holidays, everything was flawless. A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca and the outstanding Guest Experience team (Ethan, Melody, and Xiao), Chef Duan, wait staff members Berry and Irena, Concierge Fred, and bartender Zaizai for making our stay unforgettable. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail elevated our entire trip.
