It had been awhile since last visiting and was happy to receive good food and service again. The bartender efficiently set us up with lattes as we waited for a table to open. No chairs at the bar. We got a two top in the aisle, not a desirable situation. Our server was lovely and the orders were delivered timely and correctly. The Kew Garden omelet is light and naturally flavorful. Total visit for a holiday season Monday lunch window just under 90 minutes.

Fox & Goose is a cozy and welcoming English pub that serves a real hearty breakfast. The place feels warm and old-fashioned with wood tables, big windows, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to take your time. The food was excellent and felt authentic. The traditional English breakfast came with eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, and toast. Everything tasted fresh and well-cooked. The potatoes and scones were also really good, simple and comforting. Service was friendly and easygoing, and the whole experience was very enjoyable. It’s a great spot for a proper English breakfast and a pleasant way to start the day.

Fox & Goose was a favorite brunch spot for my dad and our family for many years—he lived just around the corner. Coming back 20 years later felt nostalgic, and I’m happy to say the charm is still intact. The neighborhood has changed dramatically and is now one of Sacramento’s hot spots, but Fox & Goose remains a true gem. The English pub/café vibe is welcoming, the brunch is solid, and our server took great care of us. We enjoyed some great cocktails, and the tofu scramble with pesto and walnuts was a standout. Prices are reasonable, though weekend parking can be tough—still absolutely worth it.

Google
The wait was way too long for our drinks and apps (30 min) and even absurdly longer for the meals. It even took forever to get water refills. I would have liked to be told why the food/drinks were taking so long, then I could be more understanding. My dinner experience was the same as my brunch experience in the past, everything is super bland except for the things with olalieberry in it, those always taste great. If I ever came back, I’d only get the breakfast scones to go. The dinner scones were not good. The pro: I like the atmosphere and the bathrooms are nice

Google
Do yourself a favor and order the mini scones with the Devonshire cream. This place is pretty spacious (with indoor and outdoor seating) and has a good selection of alcohol at the bar. The food was pretty good as well. The overall service was great and our server Kaitl M was exceptional! Recommend this place forsure!

Google
The food here was okay.. the appetizer hit harder than the dinner entres. The service left such a sour taste to the experience. There were 4 of us there celebrating a friend's birthday, trying to enjoy ourselves and we had the worst service. Our server took about 15-20 mins to bring our drinks out then when he cleared our appetizer plates EVERYONE'S cups were empty. He never refilled them. He brought our dinner out then my friend asked if we could get refills and he said.. "uh, yeah in a minute" in a very rude way. He NEVER came back. Not even once throughout our meal. We all ate thirsty, left thirsty & had to track down another server for our check.

Ate here 12/27/2025: Nice staff & ambiance, bland food. Ordered fish n chips, BBC fries, patsy, chive scones, and vegetable masala. Nothing really had any flavor or salt, the fish n chips were room temp, scones were really hard and crunchy, and the BBC fries were soggy. Side salad with patsy was really good though. Total price was roughly $100 without tip. I had high expectations with the reviews but was sadly let down.

Google
The elevated outdoor patio guarded by the bronze fox and goose by the road is what drew us in today. We then noticed that we were directly beneath the Historic District sign, putting us in an older neighborhood. Juliana was our waitress and recommended a plate of fried pickles to accompany the first round of beer and cocktails. Heather got a fun gin Razzle Dazzle and I a Stone IPA. The dill pickles were delightful with a perfect amount of fry crisp. For those concerned about their seafood sourcing, the fish and chips are WILD cod and were juicy and firm. We stopped in a little early to catch the happy hour, but there also weren’t any other patrons so had the place to ourselves. It was great!

Yelp
Good place to enjoy a meal. Really enjoyed the fact that they have self serve coffee while you wait. That was a nice touch, especially when it's cold. The wait can be substantial, but still had a good time. For the prices, I was kind of disappointed with the portion sizes. There's definitely more bargain for the buck elsewhere. Not to say that the portions that they served were small, but definitely felt a little bit smaller than other places that have a reputation for breakfast/brunch. The scones were really good. I could definitely see myself eating way too many of them and gaining too much weight as a result. I'd really recommend them. Get them as a standalone order; they're worth it. I got the corned beef hash, and they were solid. Eggs were done to my liking, nothing to fault there. I wish it had more of a kick; hard to qualify or put words to it, but was how I felt. It was good, just not S Tier. People at the bar were great, and enjoyed the drinks.

Yelp
First things first, always order the mini scones. Even if you dont think you want them, order them because they are a must have and so amazing. We've been here a couple times for breakfast and it never disappoints. There are a variety of options to choose from for the whole group and there probably will not be any left overs. When we first arrived, we did have about a 30-40 minute wait, but there is a full bar available to grab a drink while you wait and a self serve coffee area. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our group, which was busy on a Sunday. I do also recommend coming here for lunch as those dishes are just as good too!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a sunday for brunch and ooweeeeee, if you can get a reservation MAKE IT. The wait is no joke! But the bar and coffee/water stations are available while you wait. The bartenders are really friendly and have great recommendations. The waitress that helped my table was super informative about the menu and what specials they had going on. My group ended up selecting some corned beef, french toast, waffles, and some scones. Everything came out super quick and smelled so good! The french toast was very sweet and fluffy, covered in powdered sugar and syrup. The waffle was so soft on the inside, but the edges were crispy to perfection. The corned beef was delicious but needed more seasoning! I love this place for brunch when I am in the area! I will be coming back!

Yelp
No reservations on a Saturday but arrived at 1:30 for a party of 5. We couldn't be seated until everyone arrived but could put our name on the list. Host was super nice. Thankfully not too busy and no wait once our party arrived. 4/5 ambiance cute decor and space. Apparently it's been around since 1975 but I don't recall eating here before. 5/5 mini scones with cream. OMG. So good. Ollalieberries which felt like blueberries and blackberries had a child? So tasty and with the whipped creamcream stuff it was amazing. 4/5 waffle. Thin waffle but came with bananas and almonds. 4/5 New Yorker omelette. Smoked salmon and cream cheese! I added spinach to feel healthier. It was a huge omelette and the potatoes were SO good. Sourdough toast with a side of ranch bc I like dipping (I know it's weird) but holy moly that RANCH was delicious!! 5/5 for that ranch :) 5/5 island mimosa with orange and pineapple. Friends got the pomegranate and pineapple recommended by the server and they liked it too but I prefer the sweet orange taste. 5/5 Service was great, checked on by another person who attempted to fix the umbrellas outside so the sun wouldn't be beaming down on us. He tried hard and put good effort into it too! Lol. Very cute and will get this in the rotation.

Yelp
Awesome Birthday Celebrations & Catering! SITREP Brandy (aka "Bambi") recently celebrated her 50th birthday party here in the outstanding private dining room of The Fox & Goose! THE SETUP We all gathered to celebrate a milestone anniversary of life for our beloved friend Bambi, although we, along with her, could only acknowledge we no older than 29, AT MOST. THE FOOD The event was catered by Fox & Goose's catering business wing and they delighted us with exquisite taste-treats including mozzarella appetizers, and small quiche bites and several other tasties. THE LOWDOWN The two-hour party celebration was definitely enhanced by the special surroundings and the delicious food. If you are in need of a party space with some excellent food, this is one place to checkout!

Yelp
We were in the area and checked out this restaurant for brunch. This place is packed, expect to wait 1-2 hrs. They have a huge menu. We ended up ordering corned beef and steak and omelettes. Two of our dishes came with hair inside our eggs which they took back and gave us a new one.
google avatar

Yelp
Tuesday morning. Place is packed since it's a holiday. Ordered our usual, Denver omelet and ham/eggs. Son ordered Full Monty with French toast, sunny side up eggs, and bacon. Food came fast. The standout today was the ollalieberry scones. My husband couldn't stop eating them. The other scone option was banana chocolate chip. Service was great! Whitley was our waitress today.

Yelp
Always a go to - Went for breakfast **opens early** 7am - there was plenty of parking out front and the service was friendly and quick! Got a simple eggs, bacon & toast and it was spot on ... I thought it was a bit chilly in the place as the windows were open but it was nice to have the fresh crisp air!

Yelp
Came here with my dog for outdoor dining and had brunch. Olallieberry Scone with devon cream: A This may be the best scone I've ever had in the area. Super buttery and moist, plus the Devon cream adds even more sweetness and creaminess! Welsh rarebit omelet: C+ The omelet was okay, I did like the cheese sauce but the rest of the dish was pretty standard fare.

Yelp
Came to Fox & Goose on Saturday for brunch with my friend after an event. We sat outside to avoid waiting to be seated. Definitely recommend if you don't mind the heat/cold. The service was really good. The waitress came to check on us multiple times after we got our meal. They definitely have a lot of options to choose from. I looked at Yelp while deciding and it looks like they might have changed some of their dishes. I ended up ordering the smoked salmon plate. I didn't want something too heavy. I appreciate the ability to basically build my own lox bagel, but i feel like I was expecting a little more because it felt a little random. It wouldn't be something I would come back for since it was really basic and nothing special.

Yelp
Couldn't believe I never written a review for F&G Public House?! We've been coming here for years and when our SIL's wanted to have breakfast before our appt, this was up our alley. I aide the large, red building along R St, you will find a line on given day here. It's very popular and understandably so, considering the food and location. My usual is the Full English, my SIL got the same except w/poached eggs. My other SIL ordered an omelette with a scone and cream on the side. Hubs ordered the Full Monty w/french toast. You know it's the Real Deal English pub w/HP sauce at your table, lol. Three of us had Mimosas, I got the Bay Breeze(pineapple & cranberry) and we liked the variety of juice combinations that are available. F&G is open all day and highly suggest stopping in if you're in the area. We've been here for dinner too, but breakfast can't be beat!

Yelp
Came here for brunch and the wait was around 20 minutes. It was my first time at an English Pub =D I ordered the traditional breakfast with smoked ham and crumpet. My first time trying crumpet and it was yummy! The olallieberry scone with devonshire cream was scrumptious. It was super soft, fluffy, so much goodness! I would come here just for the scone! Lol Our servers were awesome. Very attentive, patient and friendly.

Yelp
Had another great breakfast, love their scones. Service was excellent, we were always checked on and never had to wait. Going early is the key (maybe I shouldn't share this?!) The place has a great patio too if you want to eat outside.
google avatar

Yelp
I genuinely have no idea why the reviews for here aren't better. We are from Reno and make a point to stop by every time we are in Sacramento. As a British ex-pat, I love a "taste of home" and this place definitely hits the spot when I need some home comforts. I had the bangers and mash, which were super good. I got the veggies on the side, which I'm surprised it doesn't come that way to begin with. My husband got the Cornish pasty which I tried a bite of and it was great! I would suggest having some different side options rather than just salad. My only other gripe is that I wish the "chips" were more traditional British style chips. Otherwise, this place is awesome and we will for sure continue to stop by when we are in the area.
google avatar

Suzy S.

Yelp
I loved this place when I visited it many times back in 1992-94 while living in Sacramento. Recently I went back and it's still just as amazing as I remember. The Deluxe Potatoes are my go-to favorite with a side of bangers.

Patrick R.

Yelp
We love this place! Love the coffee! When warm enough and not too hot, the patio seating is great!
google avatar

Franny Z.

Yelp
I had the scone again and so good. My coworker had the shepherds pie and devoured it. They do breakfast so good here.
google avatar

Bill T.

Yelp
It's worth it to come here just for the scones and clotted/Devonshire cream. I hated scones as a kid because I thought they were just bad biscuits; I hated scones into adulthood. When I had the scones here (good stuff) with clotted cream and jam, I changed my long held prejudice against these misunderstood pastries. This was the mountaintop of breakfasts. I loved it. Everything else was just okay
google avatar

H M.

Yelp
I've never eater here / just drank and my wife and son wanted breakfast. I had to try the full English because you can't call yourself an English style pub and not have a banging full English. The food was meh : beans unseasoned and al dente , banger wasn't banging at all , bacon was mid and the crumpet was okay : I was disappointed. The giant tomato was also unseasoned and not charred at all. The pancake I tried off my sons plate was also lack luster I ordered a glass of speckled hen to wash it down which was on point as usual. Pretty sure the wiaitress gave me a pint instead and she was cool. I liked the vibe and the drinks but that breakfast was not great : y'all need to fix this : respectfully.

Yelp
A great breakfast & brunch place in a conveniently located place. My waffle was crispy and the perfect texture. Bacon and eggs were a classic. Even though it was a simple breakfast plate, it was satisfying. Service was good and I loved the rustic ambiance. Would come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
The breakfast at Fox & Goose is on a whole new level. Amazing service and casual atmosphere

Yelp
I was very, very excited to try Fox & Goose, and the Google reviews looked promising. The Yelp mix wasn't perfect at the time (3.7 at the time of this review), but I was more than willing to give them a shot anyway as they seemed like a really down to earth and tasty spot. I'd love to give my opinion on the food, but we didn't even get there as customers - the service was nonexistent. After being seated by our hostess, who was very nice, we spent 15-20 minutes looking at the menu and waiting for our server to come by. For the entire time, we were not spoken to nor acknowledged to even get a drink order, much less order food. Several other groups of customers were served and completed while we were waiting to be spoken to by anyone. Eventually, we understood that we would most likely not be served and left. As someone who understands how hectic and unreasonable the food service industry can be, I am typically very empathetic and willing to give excuses or reasons for bad/diminished service. I am not the type of person who wants to be negative in reviews or in general. However, being completely ignored by all staff and being unable to even get a drink order in is completely unacceptable. There was no rush going on, and the restaurant was fairly calm in general at that time. I cannot think of an excuse to justify that kind of service. I really, really hope that one day I can actually try the delicious-looking food Fox & Goose has to offer - maybe at that time we'll actually be treated as customers and not as ghosts.

Yelp
Have been coming here forever now so, this is long overdue! I will say today's experience was kind of a one-off. On the plus side: - Best friend and I got seated fairly quickly. -Our waitress was super sweet and attentive when placing our drink then food order later. -Mini scones were delicious per usual. -Got our drinks quickly. The Hibiscus Ginger Beer mocktail was tasty. -So much bacon! -Again, the olallieberry scones and Devonshire cream are delicious! Misses: -Our food took about 40 minutes to come out and we were never really told anything for at least the first 20 min or so. -Our waitress disappeared. We got helped by another a couple times. When she came back she said she took her break. -Got an Horchata Cold Brew, but it had zero horchata flavor. Kind of just tasted like half and half with cold brew. -Took a while to get our to-go box and check. Like I said, usually our experience is very positive. It wasn't particularly busy so, not sure why the food was so delayed, but I know stuff happens.

Yelp
Fox & Goose is a staple brunch spot for my friends & I. Come early or be prepared to wait during brunch prime time. Food is worth the wait. My friends and I love their corned beef and their olalaberry scone and devonshire cream. Ambiance feels like you're in an English pub!

Jim B.

Yelp
Called in a simple to-go order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up and the specified time and ended up waiting another 35 minutes. Spend your money elsewhere!

Yelp
We saundered into this restaurant 10mins to 2pm. Server told us their kitchen closes for 1hr from 2pm but she gave us a couple minutes to look through the menu. We were grateful since we were hungry and it was a dog-friendly place that accepts our 94lb great pyreneese. The Salmom omelette was delicious. I usually do not like my omelette folded over like a taco but this time, the salmon and cream cheese filling made up for the "wrong way" LOL.... it is wrong way for me... right way for others. The capers were tiny and that gave a burst of flavor whenver I bit on one. So yummy. My omelette came with either fruits or potatoes and a choice of carb - I chose the crumpet, I haven't had a good soft but crispy crumpet in a long time. My husband ordered the full English because the hash was out. His plate looked so good, the 2 eggs were over easy, grilled tomato, the sausage was my favorite - the good meaty, savory kind, the mushroom was grilled to perfection, and not forgetting the fried baked beans! That I haven't seen before! My husband said it's really good. Our dog was comfortable under the shady umbrellas. There's a parking lot facing the patio but we chose to park a block away under the shady trees instead. Glad we did since the sun was HOT HOT HOT! We would surely be back.

Yelp
Fox and Goose is a favorite of mine and has been for many years, especially for brunch. This review is for brunch. They are a "pub" so their brunch has an English flair. You can get a full English breakfast, scones with Devonshire cream (do not skip this-- it's a must!), banger omelet, and even crumpets. The food is incredible and high quality. Their drink list is extensive and I can personally vouch for the bloody mary (it has blue cheese olives ), many of their different flavors of mimosas, and they have seasonal cocktails that never disappoint. Full bar. You can sit inside or outside, as they have patio seating overlooking R Street. There can sometimes be a wait for brunch, but in my experience it moves faster than you think and what they estimate. The service is always very quick as well.

Yelp
Great service, came for a team lunch and staff was super accommodating. We all loved it, food was hot and fresh! Overall 10/10

Yelp
This is the place to go for English pub-food or an English breakfast! I recently came on a weeknight with some friends, and were able to be seated without a reservation. The restaurant didn't seem too busy. Weekends however, are a different story- I have yet to have weekend brunch here, because the wait time is always over 50 minutes! Dinner items I tried: - Pimms cup: a classic cocktail, nice and refreshing- although they use lemon juice + sprite instead of ginger ale. I found that it was kind of missing the "spice" element that Pimms cup usually has. - Olallieberry linen: never heard of ollallieberry before this, but it's very similar to a blackberry. Very delicious twist on a white linen. - Shepherd's pie: really delicious and flavorful, topped with creamy mashed potatoes. Highly recommend. - Fried pickles Overall, love the theme/vibe, super fun. Service was also great- our waitress overheard us talking about a birthday at our table, and brought out a complimentary dessert + candle for the birthday girl.

Yelp
Fox & Goose is a popular pick amongst the Capitol community, and I walked here with a coworker to enjoy a quick bite for lunch. I've dined outside before, but today, I opted to dine in to beat the heat. The interior showcases lots of exposed brick and the details in the decor transport you to a British pub setting. It's a casual, yet busy spot! Fortunately, service was quick, and we were seated with no wait. After taking a few minutes with the menu, we settled on the shepherd's pie and chicken sandwich for lunch. I've ordered the shepherd's pie before, but today, it seemed overdone. You could see a film of grease on top, which wasn't visually appealing or appetizing. My co-worker said the chicken sandwich was just alright, but he enjoyed the fries and would recommend them. Maybe we ordered wrong, but this spot could definitely benefit from sprucing up these pub classics.

Trevor K.

Yelp
Both times I have been here the food has been cold. I'm not sure if the sausage was throughly cooked, seemed like a quick sir on both sides and call it good. Having a full English without English bacon too is wild. The omelette is not an omelette but rather a warm egg tortilla with cold toppings thrown in it. The potatoes just aren't right either. The service is great which is why they have 2 stars rather than 1. The layout is nice and slightly represents a British pub. Update: lowered to one star as I thought I'd try the dinner and obviously this establishment has no British culture. There's literally a song called bangers mash and beans and yet your banger dinner does not come with beans nor does the shepherd pie as it should. Had breakfast there again as it was my fathers birthday and he is from the UK. This time the full English did not come with the bacon as advertised.

Yelp
I don't visit here often but when I do it's always a treat!! Food always served fresh. Great vibe. Scones with the Devonshire cream is a must!! We got here at 8:30 am for breakfast. Highly recommend here early to get seated right away! Come hungry. Portions always generous

Mrs. E.

Yelp
Fantastic service. Hands down, the service was great. Our table enjoyed the New York omelet, the spicy omelet, a traditional English breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes and coffee. Everything tasted wonderful. This location is really unique, the inside and outside brings you into another time - a past time.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a good find. It's an English pub, but gone are the days that make you think of bland boring food. They do great original cocktails. Their shepherds pie was big enough for us to share and it was, hands down, the best we've ever had. We had the bread and butter pudding. Very moist. Tangy.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was ok!! All the sausage everyone had was cold!! There were 4 of us!! Upon getting to this establishment they won't sit you til you have a full party!! They don't offer coffee or anything while waiting!! Service was ok could be better! I am not impressed with this place!!

Yelp
Awesome food and thankfully easy parking in this area of Sacramento. Went to brunch here with some family and the service was quick and polite and the food was delicious! The vibe of the place is totally quaint pub vibes with the decor and all the wood and brick accents. Totally love the vibe of the place

Yelp
I've only been for breakfast/brunch on weekends. It can get packed but I've only ever had to wait like 5 minutes so I must be timing it right. I think it would be a good place to get a drink and sit outside. So far though, I've been pretty disappointed with the breakfast food quality. For the prices, I expect better tasting entrees and higher quality ingredients. I did like the bacon a lot but that was about it for the times I've gotten their breakfast plates. My friends like their mimosas. The service has been iffy and a couple times, I could tell our food had been sitting there a long time. I can't speak on their non-breakfast options. But if you're looking for brunch, I think there are other locations in Sac that are better.

Cindy G.

Yelp
Love the food and the environment, customer service is on point, always coming back for breakfast!

Yelp
This place is always great. My server Oliva Has helped me a few times and is always very Courteous and In general, seems like a good person. Definitely. Would recommend after a night out or A night in.

Yelp
I haven't been to Fox and Goose in years. However, my work decided to have our Christmas party here recently. It was a great experience. The food was very good and plenty for everyone. Also, the bartenders were very friendly. They did their best keeping up with a large and thirsty crowd.
google avatar

Lily N.

Yelp
This place definitely reminds me of London...why? Because the food is just as bland and not good. I gave this place a try many years ago and did not enjoy the food at all. Decided to give it another try recently when my SO wanted to come here for their scones. The service was slow; it took forever for our food to come out. Our server was nice and polite though. The decor does remind me of a London pub. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor seating only for small groups of 2-4). This is located on R Street down the block from the more popular area where R15/Burgers and Brew is located. There are nearby parking garages, and if you don't mind walking a few blocks, plenty of free timed street parking in the neighborhoods. Not likely going to return unless we want some scones in which I may just try to order them to go.

Dustin A.

Yelp
Best breakfast in midtown. Absolutely love their omelettes, scones and service! It's my go to brunch spot when you want a full stomach to rot on the co in with afterwards. Interior is well designed too. Please mark this as your must go spot when visiting or just moving to Sacramento.

Yelp
Came in again on Friday night 4/26, party of 2. Since this was G's first time in, we both went with British Standards and typical pub fare. I've been before for weekend breakfast/brunch, Pub Quiz night, and dinner. Started with the Banger Rolls to share which came with HP sauce (tomato+tamarind?!) and Colman's mustard. The sausage was dense and puff pastry nice! She got the Fish & Chips (ale-battered cod, Kennebec chips, tartar sauce, lemon, malt vinegar provided at the table on the side). I repeated my fave, the Cornish Pasty (beef, pork, turnip, potato, carrot, onion, herbs, gravy and field greens). The vegetarian version has sweet potato, turnip, potato, onion, peas, herbs, and Welse rarebit cheese sauce and is also a solid option! Next time I might try the Shepherd's Pie. They do have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free items available if that's what you're looking for. Can't remember the name exactly of the signature cocktail that the Birthday Girl ordered, but I personally was eyeing either a Bellini or a Mocktail. Non-alcoholic beverages menu included the Isle of White (lemonade, rhubarb bitters), Cucumber Cooler (cucumber juice, lime juice, soda water), and the Peachy Day (peach puree, lemon juice, rhubarb bitters, soda water). I got the Peachy Day, which came in a mason jar and was tasty and refreshing! I also asked if we could do ollalieberry scones even though it was dinner service -- yes! They even asked if we wanted them to come out all at once or as dessert. We chose dessert and they even came out warmed with Devonshire cream on the side! There was live music which was a little loud but still fun tunes like Black Magic Woman and Brown-Eyed Girl. With a shift change, our main server did switch between the main courses and dessert scones. When the bill came out, we asked to split it half and half, but there was a mistake (undercharged) and she had to get the manager to correct the charge amounts. This caused a little delay and we were a bit late to our event.

Yelp
Brunch during the work week, what a terrific idea. I haven't been to Fox and Goose in ages but every time I passed it, I would dream about their crumpets and Devonshire cream. It's still delicious. The cream is soft and pillowy, not too sweet. Perfection! I also ordered the British omelet which I highly recommend. It's made with Banger Sausage, sautéed onions and sharp cheddar cheese. My only complaint would be service is on the slower side; however, I saw a sign outside that they were celebrating 50 years so they are doing something right!

Yelp
Yes, you can mess up breakfast. Skip the waffles! Butter tasted AWFUL and the syrup was FLAVORLESS. McDonald's has better tasting syrup - seriously. Their bacon had an odd flavor too. I was very disappointed and we will not be dining here again.

Yelp
A colleague and I were in town to attend the WACAC conference at the convention center by the state capitol. We were in search of a good place to eat dinner and this restaurant has good ratings on Yelp. I ordered the fish and chips; my colleague ordered the grilled chicken salad with dressing on the side. We both enjoyed our entrees. I want to add this was the best fish and chips I've had-and believe me, I've ate fish and chips in many restaurants throughout the years. This outshines restaurants in Las Vegas-Henderson where I live. I recommend this restaurant if you're in the area. Service was excellent, food was great.

Yelp
Very good breakfast near the midtown to downtown area. The foods is delicious and well prepared. I particularly enjoy the crumpets with devonshire cream and lemon curd.

Yelp
I first came to the Fox & Goose nearly 40 years ago. My favorite food item on the menu has always been the olallieberry scone. Sadly, this time the scone I was given had uncooked dough in the middle. I sent it back...the next one was the same. No offer to remove the extra charge. I took it home to cook it longer in the air fryer and it was still not great, but at least it was cooked through. I hope it was just a bad day for the baker, but I will likely not be returning to what was once one of my favorite haunts.
