Great pizza, great selections with outdoor seating. The Fralos Sampler was a real deal--2 pieces each of any 4 of their signature and classic selections. Best pizza I've had in years...Perfect, tasty, crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce, absolutely petfect distribution of ingredients. Our server, Braeden, was delightful and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. And he's personality plus, making for a memorable time. You can eat outdoors or inside. Beer and wine selection, or bring your own for a $15 corking fee or six-pack. Live music outside Fridays and Saturdays in the evenings. Lovely place to support local.

This little family pizza restaurant was a great casual experience for us. We listened to music, sat outside, ate pizza and people-watched. My son, Mitch Connell and band plays here so definitely go when he’s there. It mess fun. Very kid-friendly.

Came on a Monday when they just had opened. Very quite, options to sit inside or outside. Ordered 2 lunch specials. A 8" traditional & 8" create your own pizzas w/2 Caesars salads/one w/anchovies. Everything was fresh, crispy. From previous reviews saying hit or miss, we definitely hit just right. Evidently they can prepare one for you to take home & bake yourself, instructions are included. Great Coke products sold here in huge serving. Definitely will come back. Give them a try 😉👍.

We have been eating their pizza for over 15 years, today we have some issues with it, it looked to white on the borders and not fully cooked, but we will keep coming back.

Delicious! I really enjoyed this place and what they had to offer. Food was decent and good! Service was good, waitress was great! Very attentive and respectful. Food was good, nothing super special but it hit the spot! Reason for four starts is the fact the seating is iffy and rather cold. The heaters are okay. The chairs and tables are wobbly.

Sadly, This place is under new management. Fralo’s is dirty and the patio is too hot with tiny umbrellas and no fans. The Inside was no better, dirty - floors and tables. Pizza is still good but salads have taken a dive in quality and no balsamic vinaigrette! . Waitresses were simple minded and not the usual happy go lucky types.

Wow!!! Great pizza! I'm usually a classic cheese/meats kind of guy, but Grant's pear pizza is one of our all-time favorite pizzas!!!! You can even try four different pizzas on one pizza! They have live music on occasion and a pretty good wine selection. The inside can get pretty hot, but the outside is large with a lot of tables. We try to come here every time we are in San Antonio. It's delicious. I would recommend coming a little later or earlier in the day during the summer. ☀️

Is amazing to visit this place as a outside party and free small concert. The pizza is amazing and delicious to eat. The service here is amazing, the servers are fantastic to care the customers whatever they need to feel comfortable.

What a disaster this place is . I sat at the bar that is up to you neck and uncomfortable and I am 6'2. I placed and order at 5:55 pm. There were 2 tables in the place. 6 people Working behind the counter all Bsing the whole time. They were tasting some kind of buffalo pizza or something. Both tables received their food . No issues . A gentlemen walks in about 10 minutes later and orders 3 pizzas gets his pizzas and leaves . Now I am questioning what's going on. The 2 servers who were playing in their laptop and phone for a good portion of my time there kept checking on me to see if I was ok . Finally i see the oven guy pull the tickets from the rail . Now they are looking at me . So I know something is up I finally asked the server for the pizza to go . Still nothing said. Not even an attempt to rush the pizza or tell me they screwed up. I finally said if you didn't start the pizza I don't want it . They said ok . I had 2 beers and they charged me 11.04 miller light draughts . The server said she gave me a 15% discount on the beer. I don't feel that was enough for the inconvenience. They should have been free or at least 1 of them No managerial presence in the place. I know it's Monday but if your staff or children can run the place do yourself a favor and close . Enjoy time with the family . You are making plenary of money at 25 $ average for a pie . That is 15 inches . Best of luck

Average pizza at best. Cannot compete with Dough or Il Forno. Not worth the hype; can't understand how this place made it to the top 10 pizza places in SA.

Still amazing after 3 years! Definitely my favorite pizza spot in San Antonio, especially considering they have gluten free options for pizza for allergies! Service is still on point, and there's a great family vibe!

Loved the vibes and the fact that there is live music and outdoor seating. I've never been to bar 301 next door but I heard it is the same owners and I think it's pretty cool that they're both connected I would love to come back to eat then go to the bar for a night out after! The pizza was really good though I wish I could say something that stuck out to me about it

My family and I live close by and we've been here multiple times, we do take out often, or dine in with the kids. Easily one of our favorite easiest restaurant experience with young kids. The kids love the mozzarella sticks every time, and me and my wife split a Caesar salad which is delicious. Probably the best pizza in the area, You can tell it's made fresh with homemade sauces and dough, and after a few slices I don't get that gross heavy feeling as you do with chain restaurants. All the pizzas we've ordered here have been delicious. The live music and outdoor eating is great and the service is fast and attentive. We've never run into any issues here with the service. .

As a New Yorker....The pies here are the closest to NY Style. Service is prompt and fast, with a decent beer selection on tap. Been coming here for 3months now and the taste remains consistent.

Ambiance is ok mostly outside seating , we go on Fridays when they have live music sometimes the music is too loud so we just ask to sit further away from the music. Customer service is always good staff is very friendly. Only ever get pizza and mozzarella sticks there and it's always consistent. Always good. Spicy sauce on the pizza is the move.

This pizza was SO good! I love that they have created one that allows you to try multiple specialty pizzas on one. I did takeout and the hostess set me up with everything I needed (utensils and plates for multiple days, to go packaging) to eat tonight & tomorrow at my airbnb. Def recommend!

You know back in day their pizza was so delicious and you could literally take a cooler full of beer. Aww memories- we shared birthdays and graduations and all sorts of celebrations- back in 2004 - 2005. It has been years since we had been and as we were searching for a place to eat dinner we reminisced about this place so we stopped by today. Pizza was disappointing. Overall salty and the dough was tough- nowhere near what I remember it being or do I now know what amazing pizza tastes like? Have you changed? Or have I? The frozen sangria was a plus and yeungling on draft is a ++ but then there is the pizza. Great for groups and you can still bring your beer or wine but now there is a cork fee. The staff was great but the pizza was not. Sighhhhhh.

Came on a Saturday night after wanting to try something new. I took a table outside and was able to listen to some live music. Seems like they have live music on the weekends, you can check their website gif info. When I first walked up hostess was busy on her phone but I got her attention and was quickly seated. I ordered a Corona (all their beer is draft) and a margherita pizza (basically cheese pizza). I decided on the smaller 12-inch which left me with a few slices to take home. The sauce is really good on the pizza! Kinda seemed not so acidic. I really liked it. My server was attentive and my beer and pizza came out quick.

Okay, so I am a crazy, insane, pizza fanatic. That being said, this has got to be in my top 3 best pizza's ever eaten in my life!!! I wish I could remember the name of this pizza but it has either a white sauce or olive oil, I don't remember, caramelized onions, bacon, chicken, and lots of love!!! If someone were to ever use bait to kidnap me, it would be with pizza. THIS pizza! I wouldn't be able to resist! I would totally go see what's in the back of the creepy old van. I could eat this every day. Perfect crust, perfect flavors, super hot and fresh. Pricey but worth every cent. The service was quick and friendly, we ate outside because it was a really pretty day and they have a great view. This pizza had a slight flavor of scalloped potato's and I think that's why I went to crazy over it, I'm a sucker for onions and cheese! I will be back very soon!

The caprese salad is second to none. Mom and I split a salad and a personal pizza and love it more each visit. The pizza crust is baked to perfection.

I dropped my truck off to get detailed on a Saturday,which is never a quick feat, so I walked down the way to Fralo's - and I was not disappointed. Coming from Las Vegas, I hadn't seen a setup like this so I was a little confused at first but they took care of me. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you, Pablo! #BruschettaIsALoveLanguage

Tried this on a whim with my girlies. The pizza was absolutely delicious, their food is great quality. And sitting outside in the evening was so nice. Thoroughly surprised and can consider it in my top 5 of italian restaurants around the city. Can't wait to go back!

It was relaxing we sat inside. The service with one waitress working was great. We went for lunch. The pizza was great the spicy sauce has a pleasant heat. The cheese pizza had 5 different cheese. It was amazing. 10 out of 10 will definitely be back.

Had an enjoyable night with my friends and my wife at this place. The brussels sprouts and the cheese were excellent. We ordered a sampler pizza double cut and had a great meal cost are very reasonable and the ambience is quaint.

Food was delicious- get takeout! Service was unbelievably terrible. Waiting 20 minutes to even be greeted. By the time server finally came we were ready to order our entire meal. She said she would only get our drink order and asked what we wanted to drink, we ordered a glass of wine and a beer. She said she didn't know what they have and she "was just going to bring us water". When she finally came back we asked about the wine & beer and we ordered one appetizer and one pizza. We waited 30 minutes for any of those items to arrive. The app, drinks, and pizza all arrived at the same time. The whole night it was as if she was avoiding all of her tables. She was inside most of the night and when she would finally come out people would try to wave her down. Most of the time she would just ignore whoever was trying to get her attention. It wasn't even that busy. Once we finished eating we waved her down to ask for the check, we then had to wait over 10 minutes to get closed out. If I was only reviewing the food - 5stars! Unfortunately bad service really puts a damper on the night

Toppings are thin and sporadic. Quality overall is consistently going down. Outside tables should be walk up to order and sit... call name and get pizza. Used to have an outside bar. Gone for years. I like Frank but he needs to take a hard look at his place.

Fralo's is an adorable indoor/outdoor venue serving up some of the best pizzas in San Antonio. Their wine menu is as endless as the pizza toppings. Service is always good, even on busier evenings. Once you've eaten your fill, you can pop over to Bar 301 next door.

Dog friendly, great atmosphere, fantastic food. Service was great. It is worth the wait. The salad is fresh and tasty, the beer cold, and the pizza is phenomenal. The sauce is so tasty and the smoked meats and fresh ingredients combined with an out of this world crispy crust put this above Grimaldis in my opinion.

Good pizza, cool seating as well. A little confusing driving to pick it up at night as to where exactly the building was but that was just a skill issue on my end. My only critique would be the pizza being ever so slightly burnt and there was the pieces of chicken were the size of a kernel.

The food, service, and staff were wonderful! The "Sampler Pizza" and "Thirsty Goat" amber was amazing, but the best part was the staff, from the quality of the servers, to the cooking staff who were truly having a good time. To the owner and staff- thank you for a wonderful dining experience

We live like literally across the road from this place, and yet it took us 3 years to try them...which is crazy since we loooove pizza! I'm so glad we finally gave them a chance though! Their pizza is amazing!!! We just called them directly to order and swung by on our way home to pick up - easy peasy. We chose Grant's Pear 2.0 and the B.O.M...caramelized onions and pears, earthy arugula, creamy Gorgonzola...can't go wrong with either of these. We loved that the crust is not too thin, not too thick...with just the right dough to toppings ratio, and not greasy at all, which is my biggest pet peeve. They went perfectly with a cool glass of Pinot Grigio on our back patio! Fralo's also has an alternate dough for people with gluten allergy, which is very thoughtful. We're so glad we finally tried their pizza, and we'll definitely be back!

Right off boerne stage rd exit sit Fralos. An inviting establishment pushing out pizzas and pastas that are amazing. Have been going back to fralos for sometime. I mean it's just pizza right? Wrong. It's great pizza. It's great ambiance. It's great staff. It's a great experience. Fralos is not close to many who reside in San Antonio and can be a drive for most. But when they are rocking on all those cylinders it keeps getting people to come back. Thanks y'all.

One of the best pizza locations I've ever eaten at. The pizza may at first glance seem a little pricey but wait until you actually take a bite. The different types and represent very unique assortments of flavors and ingredients that won't be found in other places in San Antonio. Additionally you can BOYB, the location will just charge an fee to take out the cork and provide glasses for you to enjoy your wine. Give it a try, you definitely will not regret it.

We're currently sitting at Bar 301 and learned that their kitchen is down. They offered to order us food from Fralo's next door and bring it to us on the patio. Our food arrived and Megan unboxed it for us - absolutely delicious. It's my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better, casual drinks and pupus kine of night. The only thing we we're probably missing was an order of brussel sprouts but this is probably our face go-to place. Bar 301 for drinks and Fralo's for small bites.

The best, most fresh pizza around! Everyone that works there is kind and accommodating no matter how busy they are. The patio is a great place to dine when it's nice out as they have bands, it's very open and shaded, and they allow pets.

The pizza is worth the wait! Love all of the outdoor seating and eating under the stars during the warmer months. You can also bring your pup!

So many toppings to choose from, a delicious crust, lots of vegan options, and BYOB! Can't beat it, or the outdoor ambiance.

I came here with some friends on a Sunday afternoon and the pizza was fantastic! We ordered the sampler pizza, which allowed us to try 4 different types of pizza. All of them were delicious! If I had to choose a favorite, I would go with the game time. It was a little spicy and loaded with sausage and venison pepperoni.....basically all things yummy and great! The service was on par for what you should expect for a fresh baked pizza joint. They had outdoor seating, with shade provided by trees and umbrellas. The only negative is the restrooms. We picked a table that ended up being in just the right place to pick up all the smells, so be careful where you decide to sit.

Tbh probably the top 3 pizzas I've ever had in my LIFE!! GOD THE FOOD IS SO GOOD LORD HAVE MERCY! It does take a minute for the food to come out but in the grand scheme of things, who cares? I LOVE FRALOS RAAAAHHHHH ‼‼

Santiago is the man, so fun to talk to and friendly . We had a lot of fun. What a great place, great food, and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I have to give Fralos a shoutout for the most consistently delicious pie this side of Rome!! Every time I have been to town for the last 20 years, Fralos has been the standard, and continue to deliver excellent service and excellent food! Between the ambience, dining experience and Bar 301 next door to help wash down the pizza, your whole night turns into one to remember! Cheers!

Our soccer team had so much fun bonding before the big game. Pasta, pizza, and salads were prepared on time and ready when we got there for our 30 players. Perfect place for family dinner or throwing a party.

Came here for the first time in a long time (haven't been in over 5 years) and was excited for the famous thick mozzarella sticks from a while back (I believe they were pretzel crusted? They were thick, huge logs almost - a couple pictures posted in older reviews!), but overall I was extremely disappointed in the food. It seems it has changed a lot since I last remember - and overall it just wasn't worth the price point. Let me start by saying that the service was phenomenal and the experience was still wonderful (the live music, the outdoor seating, etc.). I enjoyed my time here, but was just disappointed in the food. We started by ordered the mozzarella sticks, which are now just like any other mozzarella sticks - thin, almost look like they're from a frozen box, and nothing special about them. First disappointment. I quickly came on here to look at old pics to make sure I wasn't crazy about what I had remembered the mozzarella sticks to be like! They had been my favorite thing and the main reason I loved Fralo's. For the pizzas we ordered the Margherita and the Nutty Chicken, both of which came out very crispy. Now I enjoy a crispy crust here and there, but this crust was almost difficult to bite into and chew because of how hard it was. My plate was a messy pile of crusts and pizza pieces after I was finished because it was difficult to eat the entire piece. As for flavor, the pizzas were mediocre. The Margherita wasn't traditional (heavy on traditional sauce and diced tomatoes). It was better than the Nutty Chicken one, though, which looked yummy but lacked a ton of flavor for being something with pesto sauce. It was pretty bland. Needed a lot of parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to add flavor. I'm all for supporting local and I love the vibes Fralo's has with the live music and rustic seating, but unfortunately the food did not make me want to return. And for the price point you can get similar pizzas from California Pizza Kitchen or Mellow Mushroom that taste much better. Again, still had an overall lovely experience. But wanted to highlight my thoughts on how the food has changed from years ago when I came.

Great place for family & friends. The pizza is very unique and large. Often they have live music. They don't have cocktails here but they do have beer and wine. Next door is a cocktail bar and they will allow you to get a cocktail and bring it over to this place to enjoy the live music. You might as well because on a weekend it take 30 mins to an hour to get your pizza. But it's fun and the wait didn't really seem that long to me.

Amazing service and super tasty food! Got the build your own pizza with simple Alfredo sauce, spinach and chicken. The Brussel sprouts are to die for!
