The 22 Best Seattle Cafes To Work In - Seattle - The Infatuation

"An afternoon at Fram is the most fun you'll have in a space that's approximately the size of a one-car garage. Only instead of sawdust and mummified spiders, there are great honey lavender lattes, frosé churning at all times, and an assortment of canned and bottled stuff in the fridge. Excellent wifi makes this place a work session no-brainer, especially if you grab a seat by the window and stare out onto the water every time you feel like procrastinating." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

The Best New Bars in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"It’d be easy to miss Fram Brews or “FRAM” if it weren’t for the people bustling in and out. Nestled on an otherwise quiet corner in Westlake right near the water, this pocket-sized neighborhood hangout has gained a quick following as a café in the morning and a bar in the afternoon and evenings (happy hour is always from 3 to 5 though). They sling boozy slushies, cider, beer, wine, and an assortment of spiked seltzers — if you’ve got a few friends with you, consider asking about the house shot ski." - Brianna Gunter

Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings

"There’s a new Eastlake cafe that serves sandwiches, coffee, and boozy slushies, among other things. Fram Brews is located near Lake Union and appears to be dog friendly. It’s also open from 6am-8pm every day, giving you a large window to work with." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

Tis the season🎃 This “Dirty Matcha” as Mira would call is pumpkin spice and matcha with a shot of espresso. The atmosphere was really welcoming and colorful and it’s nice to see the coffee machines in the back so it’s no surprise why the coffee is excellent. If you’re passing through in Eastlake this cafe can be found kind of the back of a chic neighbourhood with a lake view and if your looking to shake things up Mira has no problem helping you achieve that taste! Happy fall thank you FRAM❤️

Good gawd I adore this place! The coffee is amazing and at a very fair price for Seattle. The menu is varied so it’s suitable for all day work, walk stops, small gatherings, etc. Every barista I’ve met is lovely. I do wish they stocked more pastries in the morning so that they lasted longer, but nbd. Today when I stopped through the barista and a variety of community members were all hanging out watching an old movie on the tv. I stayed for a half hour to watch with them- this is just such a unique, special spot that really feels by the community, for the community. Every neighborhood needs a FRAM. Keep doing what you’re doing.

This place is a gem, it's special. Coffee and atmosphere is great! Baristas are friendly. I would come more often if I was living locally!

Google
A cozy little spot in Scandinavian style — an original designer project with its own philosophy and story (no spoilers, you’ll have to discover it yourself). Despite being small, it feels incredibly comfortable, with a friendly atmosphere and genuinely nice people among the visitors. The bartender/vendor is always warm and talkative, no matter the shift. You can sit inside or settle outside in a wooden chair, sipping a beer or coffee while watching a beautiful sunset over Lake Union. There’s a small parking lot, so you’ll definitely find the place — the bar is on the first floor, right on the corner. As for the food, the menu isn’t huge — more like light bites and snacks, sandwiches, and similar stuff. You can also grab anything to go (drinks included). They’ve got good beer and delicious coffee to take away. Often, the lovely coffee aroma drifts down the street, drawing you into Fram ☺️ Highly recommend this place.

Google
Amazing staff, amazing drinks! Happy hour is 3 - 5, dollar off drinks! They have tap, canned, froze, wine (all the standards + orange!), and a super chill and inviting space (with a game sized TV!) The staff have so much fun, engaging personality. It’s right on the water and has a roll up wall so you can have a view of the water. Indoor seating, outdoor seating, super convenient location with ample parking around. 10/10 will be coming here all the time to hang, watch the game, work, study, read, literally everything!

Google
Friendly staff and a great latte. The interior of the space is colorful and eye-catching, although when I was there, hilariously hot inside, but they have ample outdoor seating so it was okay.

Google
Hidden gem. Great menu with coffee and plenty of small bites. The real treat, thé froze was delicious and perfect on your unseasonably warm afternoon. Quiet environment with cool outdoor seating

Google
There needs to be 10 more FRAM cafes all across Seattle. Great concept and wonderful usage of space for a small neighborhood cafe. Beautiful interior and perfect summer sunset vibes. One of the rare places that serves espresso well into the afternoon, "open early, leave late" done right. There aren't enough lakeside cafes/bars in Seattle so I will be here often!

Yelp
Fram has some of the nicest people and such a positive energy! Would highly recommend stoping here and checking it out. They have a little bit of everything for everyone.

Yelp
The coffee here is excellent. I almost tripped on their doorway but the barista was gracious enough to not laugh at me. It's a little too small for my liking especially since it's apparently very popular. Come here for some good views and good coffee in a nice Seattle neighborhood.

Yelp
The lasting impression of FRAM for me is how therapeutic it felt. This is a small beer/wine/frose, coffee, beverages and snacks gathering place run out of the bottom of a condo unit with a garage door entrance. There are three tables inside and a collection of Adirondack chairs outside and it sits directly across the street from Lake Union. The decor is also very impressive, kind of the feel of an old traditional houseboat with a couple of modern touches. The owners and their proud story of opening this place during the pandemic as an outlet for the community only adds to the appeal. I passed this place several times and there are always people here. Everyone here, employees and patrons alike seem relaxed. They offer maybe three drafts, slushee froses, and wine, but also have about two or three fridges of soft drinks, specialty drinks, snacks, and a few things that can be heated up, like sandwiches or hand pies. It is the quintessential, albeit understated, summer spot, yet the owners reported business continues into the rest of the year. I highly recommend you seek out this hidden gem along the east shore of Lake Union!

Yelp
A great new spot here in Eastlake! Kind and thoughtful baristas, great snacks and food- and they have happy hour?! What else could you ask for! I had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was delicious- it's a small place, but it's cozy and it's so well decorated for Christmas, I will definitely be back here with my son! Oh, and they have a big stack of games to play! Love the vibe of this whole place.

Yelp
Lovely people working here! The barista was friendly and helpful with my dietary restrictions. They have a variety of dairy free milk and I had a vegan burrito too. Everything was very tasty and it's super pretty by the lake with lots of natural light to read or work. They are also dog friendly which I loved! I'll def have to bring my pooches back next time.

Yelp
We happened upon this spot while walking the loop around Lake Union. It was a chilly, wet day so it was nice to have a place to grab a warm drink. The mocha and caramel cider were delicious and exactly what we needed. There was only one person working but she was efficient and quickly took orders and made drinks. They have quite a few tables and some bar seating and even some outdoor seating. They fit a lot into a small space. There was grab and go food and drink as well.

Yelp
This is a pretty new coffee shop/beer and wine cafe off of Eastlake right before you get to the bridge (down the hill on Fairview, in the bottom level of a mixed use development). This area doesn't have a ton of traffic (foot or car), so hopefully they can stay in business. They serve pastries from Seawolf, minus the Seawolf lines. They also have some sandwich/snack foods in the deli case. I would say prices are average ish, although to be honest there's not much else in the area to compare to directly. There is a limited amount of seating inside plus a few Adirondack chairs outside. I come to this area somewhat regularly, so I've enjoyed stopping by for a coffee on my way through

Yelp
What a great new spot! I came in for a coffee on a gorgeous spring day and found the inside seating is open to the breezes when the weather is nice. Great selection of drinks in addition to coffee. Beautiful space and view onto Lake Union.

Olinda M.

Yelp
A hidden gem micro cafe serving two of my favorite things: Lighthouse roasters coffee and select SeaWolf baked goods. It's a teeny place but so cute inside, with friendly baristas and probably the best coffee prices you'll see in all of Seattle. There's a great selection of alcoholic and dry drinks in the case, and other refrigerated snacky foods. I've worked in this neighborhood for almost 25 years and this is the most exciting thing I've discovered on my walks. It's close to a park with benches otherwise they have sidewalk seating which is great for the dry weather months.

Rossi Z.

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot. The young lady at the register is always friendly and helpful. Much needed spot in Eastlake.

Yelp
I am a self-proclaimed espresso snob, and this is some of the best coffee I've ever had in my life. It rivals that of Santo in North Seattle. The chai was also excellent, a good mix of sweet and spicy. The baristas were super friendly and helpful in explaining their menu (which includes beer, wine, and brunch cocktails). It's a cozy spot with nice views of the water. I'll be back for another cappuccino!

Aaron R.

Yelp
Stopped here to get a drink or a coffee and it's a frat house vibe. Maybe another time is better? Avoid if you're not 17.

Landon L.

Yelp
NOT good coffee, really surprised by the reviews of this spot! You can tell no one working here has barista experience; it's just another run of the mill, over priced coffee experience in an already saturated market; don't support FRAM. it' feels like some rich tech persons excuse for a tax ride off, and thats most likely the case here;

Kaitlyn A.

Yelp
Amazing experience. Super sweet barista, I wish I caught her name. Stellar coffee. Great ambiance. I'm already excited to go back.
