The Best Sandwiches in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Francesca’s signature sandwich, this is a riff on the muffuletta, but combines ham, roast beef, provolone, Swiss, and coleslaw on a muffuletta bun with Russian dressing as opposed to the normal components. The winning combo isn’t the only sandwich worth trying on the Lakeview deli and restaurant’s menu — the classic Club is just as it should be, and hits the spot." - Beth D’Addono

The Best Restaurants In and Around Lakeview | Eater New Orleans

"This Lakeview deli and pizzeria from the owners of Katie’s in Mid-City is a charming little roadside shop, a family-friendly crowd-pleaser that’s a great stop for sandwiches on the way to the Lakefront. There’s a St. Louis inspiration here when it comes to pizza, but it also nods to its predecessor, Charlie’s Deli, for its signature sandwich. The Moon is a riff on the muffuletta, combining ham, roast beef, provolone, Swiss, and coleslaw on a muffuletta bun with Russian dressing. The classic Club is a winner, as are the daily specials." - Beth D’Addono

Francesca by Katie’s Opens in Lakeview | Eater New Orleans

"Located on Harrison Avenue in Lakeview, this new deli and pizzeria from the owners of Katie’s serves Creole-Italian fare alongside St. Louis–style pizza; I noticed the St. Louis pie is topped with Provel cheese (a blend of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone) and sliced into squares, with toppings ranging from cochon de lait and spinach and artichoke to a three-cheese pizza with feta, Provel, and mozzarella. Provel also appears elsewhere on the menu, on a po-boy with fried oysters and bacon and on a meatball sub, and the menu includes a version of Charlie’s Delicatessan’s “moon” sandwich, truffle mac and cheese, “frips” (a fry/chip mash-up), salads, and burgers. The spot is open 11 a.m.–8 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and closed Sundays; the restaurant’s name comes from the owner’s middle name." - Stephanie Carter

Don’s Seafood Is Making Weed Jokes | Eater New Orleans

"The new Lakeview deli from the owners of Katie’s will be named Francesca’s (co-owner Stephanie Craig’s middle name) and will focus on Italian-American and Creole-Italian fare like Italian subs, meatball sandwiches, Italian sausage, and fried seafood po-boys; it will also serve the St. Louis version of pizza, meaning pies topped with Provel cheese and sliced into squares." - Stephanie Carter

Google
What a great gem of Harrison in Lakeview. One of my favorite sandwiches is THE MOON. It’s ham, roast beef, provolone, Swiss, coleslaw on a muffuletta bun with Russian dressing. It’s killer! I got the half and could only eat 1/4 of it. I love that toasted muffuletta bun! The FRIPS (it’s not a fry or a chip, it’s a FRIP!) are great and don’t miss the pimento cheese. My wife had the pizza tonight and it was great too, I love the sauce & the crisp bottom. I’ve never had anything at Francesca I didn’t love!

Mike C.

Google
What a great place! food portions are enough for two people. The food comes out fast as very fast! Nice wine selection in chilled half bottle. The folks that wait on you, are very very nice. One of the best Delis I’ve ever been to.

Josh K.

Google
I grew up in St. Louis and this place is a delight. Real toasted ravioli (fried meat ravioli) are impossible to find outside of the Lou, and Francesca’s are legit - hot, crisp, not greasy, well seasoned. The ship provel cheese for their pizzas in, and while a bit thicker than traditional St. Louis style, it’s a delicious pie. The po’boys are hit, fresh, and massive. Best of all, the folks at Francesca’s are so kind, it felt like dining at a friend’s house. So happy we stopped in.

Teresa C.

Google
The food was amazing. The only con I is that you have to pay $3.00 fee if you get a large poboy and want to split half of it with the person you are with. Otherwise it is delicious!

Kim F.

Google
Stopped in for lunch and everything was fantastic! I had the Cajun Cuban sandwich with Frips, and my group shared the crawfish corn chowder and sampled the grouper sandwich. Every dish was delicious, and the service was warm and friendly. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Google
Love the lakeview vibe. I drive in from Baton Rouge just for their food. The staff is wonderful. When we sit outside they bring water to my dog. That is great service!!! Poboys are da bomb!!!!

Google
“The Legend” should leave the menu or… change its name! As two New Orleanians (one who has dined here before, and I, a first timer), BOTH were disappointed by this sandwich. The (albeit short menu description) says “Cochon de lait and BBQ Shrimp”… (being that it’s located on the outskirts of New Orleans but very much local, not a “tourist trap”.. we expected to have hearty cochon a la Katie’s and Nola-style BBQ shrimp on top) We left hungry and confused:. What arrived at the table.. looked what could best be described as cat food stuffed into the end of a loaf of French bread. The pork was basically minced meat tossed in grocery store bbq sauce with a few shrimp on top.. the kicker of it all? The sandwich is already $19.. but it cost $3 extra for us to “split it” as a convenience charge.. Y’all, I’m from here, worked in service for 20+ years and I have never heard or seen anyone charge anyone to share a meal. If Francesca chooses to keep this on the menu, I’d advise to change the description: “bbq minced pork with shrimp stuffed French bread.”

Google
First than anything these subs are delicious!!! Lord!! Excellent environment, very clean restaurant, lovely customer service! In love with this place! I come back again!! Great place!!

Yelp
We love this place. It's very small inside. But we are always able to get a table. The food is great! There are 2 parking spots in front and 4 on the side of the restaurant. We always past up the restaurant and go park down the first street past it and walk. It's not a far walk at all. Also they have some tables outside under a tent in front of the restaurant too.

Yelp
Food was good but the service we received today was lacking. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but I was not happy with the time it took to receive basic service. I'll try and give them another chance on a not so busy day.

Yelp
$20 for an 11" margarita pizza with pepperoni added is nuts. It was lukewarm. Taste was good. I thought it would be bigger for that price.

Yelp
This place was very mediocre/subpar. I'm disappointed because they had such great reviews. It's cute, it's right in Lakeview, I really wanted to love it. We had their large flat bread shrimp and artichoke pizza ($23). It tasted about as good as it looked (not great). It was dry and flavorless. It wasn't inedible once you added some seasonings and parmesan cheese on top of it, but I won't be coming back here for pizza for sure. It seems they only use mozzarella with no sharper cheeses, so it's bland. Would it kill them to sprinkle some shredded parmesan on there with the mozz? They also don't season/marinade the shrimp at all, so the shrimp is flavorless as well. They put the basil leaves right on top of everything and then bake it, so it dulls the flavor there too. I'm a big fan of putting fresh herbs under the cheese to protect it a bit from the heat and then adding more on top at the end after baking. The crust is flat bread, but it was overbaked; it was hard enough to make your jaw tired from chewing it. I think they completely overcooked this pizza, but it's also a low effort pizza. Honestly, I could spruce up a frozen pizza better at home. Another egregious thing is that they didn't devein all of the shrimp. The poop line was baked right into the shrimp. Yuck. We tried their "Ooey Gooey Cake" ($5) for dessert. This was cheap for the size of the cake, and it tasted pretty good too, if you like this type of dessert. It was less like a cake though and more like a sticky baked custard-like bar. Maybe their other food is better? If you try this place, I would order something other than their pizza!

Carmelie M.

Yelp
I've ordered take out several. Large Poboys that are fully stuffed. .It's enough for 2 people I really like the ham.

Yelp
After a long morning at the Audubon Zoo, we stopped here around lunchtime and were happy to get a seat. This place was awesome, had The Staple Burger med well with cheddar cheese and my side was fried okra. Burger cooked to perfection and okra was fantastic. Washed it down with Barqs. Great service too.

Spice T.

Yelp

Yelp
Can't thank the folks at Francesca enough for pulling together my last minute 20 people order. Catherine was a pleasure to speak with and made sure my order made it on time. The food was phenomenal! The Club is huge, the Reuben heavenly, the Wedge and Caesar were more than filing especially when you add the chicken. 10/10 recommend!

Ann M.

Yelp
Stopped here about a week ago mid afternoon. Had the best NY style Reuben sandwich that contained a very generous portion of meat. They also had a variety of bottled drinks from a cooler. Small place, super clean and cute, nice staff. Can't wait to go back and try the fried green tomatoes or another sandwich. New fav place in Lakeview.

Yelp

Yelp
My personal favorite restaurant in all of New Orleans. The best salads you can get anywhere - period. Got the pizza once and did not love it, but everything else ive ever ordered is amazing. Great service and a very nice cozy atmosphere. Daily specials are great, soups are great. I go here whenever im in the area. Love this place.

Yelp
Had an early flight into New Orleans, staying in the Metairie neighborhood, and stopped by Francesca by Katie's for take-out sandwiches. Both the Everybody Loves Raymond (corned beef, swiss cheese, coleslaw, Russian dressing) and the Cajun Cuban (cochon de lait, grilled ham, swiss cheese, mustard, pickles, pressed french bread) were delicious. Highly recommend topping off any order with Fripps (thinly sliced french fries)--they were similar to a steak fry, but because they're thinner, they seemed crispier. Service was friendly and quick and I appreciated the variety on the menu and all the goodies tempting you by checkout, including Ooey Gooey, which is a butter cake smothered in icing.

Yelp
Great service Great food Best Pizza in town We go often for the Pizza but everthing is great

Jordin D.

Yelp
Food and service was great. Their crawfish and corn soup was delicious as well as their tuna sandwhich.

Yelp
we have passed by Francesca's many times and this time decided to check it out. before going in we didn't know that it was owned by Katie's; we've always had a good experience at Katie's so expected the same here. the food was great and so was the service. we got the frips with pimento cheese - we got it without the gravy but they gave us the gravy one as well and some people preferred that. we also got the burger which was very good; the reuben which was good and a huge portion; the wedge salad which was also good and a huge portion; and the veggie lakeview sandwich which seemed a bit bland but with the pimento cheese it was great overall great lunch place with good food and good ambiance

Yelp
My first try! Great little place very friendly owners will definitely be back! Muffuletta

Yelp
Fish Fry Friday - pandemic edition I was scoping Fish Fry plates on the interwebs and saw that the Katie's plate came with a crabcake! Yes please. I picked up 4 plates on Friday afternoon; I had called my order in and they were waiting when I arrived. They've set up the front of the store for good social distancing with everyone wearing masks and all the wipes downs on my card and pen for payment. Great job! The food... the plates were delicious. The frips were yummy, crabcake was rich and the fried fish was crisp. Plus momma said they doctored those peas up good. We also got a side of fried okra which is always good here. Definitely need to remember to cross town and order from them again soon.
google avatar

Yelp
I got the Legend sandwich (Cochon de Lait + BBQ Shrimp stuffed into French bread) it was delicious. The service was great! You order at the counter and they just bring the food to your table. There is a ton of seating indoors and outdoors. It is a St. Louis themed restaurant that has Fitz's root beer and great toasted rav as an appetizer. Overall this is definitely one of the best lunch/dinner spots in NOLA and has a great atmosphere! Will definitely be returning soon!
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Amazing food and eating neighborhood venue only blocks from home. Very friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
Y'all... let me tell you, this place is incredible!!! I'd give 100/100 stars if I could! ( I get excited about good food, can't you tell!) I've lived in Lakeview my entire life and I made the mistake of not coming here sooner!!!! To begin with it was a busy Saturday... I placed a take out order. I could hear the bustle, but customer service was spot on. Employees were extremely friendly, personable, and professional! I ordered a "Charlie's Original The Moon" & an " Everybody loves Raymond"! Mouth watering ... delicious!! My waitress talked me into an "Ooey Gooey" Lemon Dessert! I'd give a review but my mother ate the entire thing! I highly recommend this restaurant for food, casual New Orleans ambiance, and customer service!

Yelp
WHOA!! Hello best salad I had in nola- fresh / plentiful / varied ingredients and ... HOME MADE DRESSING!!! It is not lost on me how much a home made balsamic vinaigrette with herbs is impossible to find these days.. one it's face it MAY appear to be a cafe, but take a look at the menu and you're pretty blown away at the extensive items available.. apparently the owner is from st.louis so there's a nod to her hometown with some of the menu items and drinks... we did the shrimp po-boy (fresh gulf shrimp fried to PERFECTION light and airy!), and added hot peppers to it. Her bread was the lightest I had had in Nola as well... the roast beef po boy, the spectacular chopped salad, and vegan gf veggie soup. It was all FABULOUS and we'll be back!

Patrick K.

Yelp
The food is absolutely delicious and affordable. I have liked everything I have tried so far. Give this place a try and you'll definitely be going there to eat on a regular basis.

James M.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches, and generously portioned! The frips are addicting!!! They're our go to side. The staff is also very friendly, and the service is fast!

C R.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late lunch, and everything that we tried was so good! For starters we had the boudin egg rolls and the da brees frips. The egg rolls were very crispy and came with a remoulade sauce that we liked, and the pimento cheese in the frips was very creamy and tasty. Our main course was the meatball sub and the shrimp poboy. The meatballs are very large and absolutely delicious (reminding me of those my Italian grandmother used to make). The shrimp were large and packed on the poboy. The bread was very fresh and tasty. The portions were large, and we took home half of each poboy. We will definitely stop in again to try some of the other items on the menu.

William B.

Yelp
Loved coming to this place! Great food with plenty of options. Staff was great and understanding. Friend was able to get a gluten free burger and they didn't bat an eye! I got a burger as well and it was surprisingly very tasty and yummy for coming from and sandwich and pizza shop! Nice spot as well with cool inside and outside vibes!
google avatar

Cheri C.

Yelp
Everything here is amazing but regardless of what you are hungry for- order the Debris fries!!!!! The poboys are huge (we tried fried shrimp and roast beef) and delicious! The purpose of the visit was the muffuletta and it did not disappoint! The staff is patient (it took us a while to decide what to order) and the food comes out quickly. We LOVE Katie's and are happy to have found Francesca's!
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
This is an offshoot of Katie's, a large Mid-City Italian restaurant. This place is smaller, but nonetheless has more seating than I'd guessed from the outside. They offer similar pizza, as well as a variety of other options. It's mostly in the bread with cheese vein, so it won't work for everyone, but it seems like within their niche they do well. I started with some "frips" a thin-cut french fry that is almost a chip. They're just thick enough that there's still a bit of potato softness inside, but the thin cut means there's a lot of surface area that gets fried, which is unhealthy and delicious. There was a bit of seasoning on them, which went a long way. The pizza is one of the better ones in New Orleans, notable for the provolone in its cheese mix which adds a silky texture and creamy taste. Oddly, they have a few standard pizzas and state vaguely that you can customize your own, as if the idea of listing toppings and prices was not common practice. However, the peppers and mushrooms I added to mine were ample in quantity (and I think they charged me $1.50 or so a topping?) and the pizza as a whole was excellent. Their hours are a bit limited, and their menu doesn't have a ton of stuff that I can eat, but it's good enough and convenient enough to be worth a visit now and then.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
Incredible! On every level. First time here. And first stop on my culinary adventures this week in NOLA. And I adore Katie's so I wasn't surprised that it had exactly the same vibe. Great and friendly staff. And dare I say, one of the best shrimp poboys I've ever had. FULL of flavorful shrimp, dressed and I even added my roast beef gravy on the side. We ordered one to spilt and I could still only eat half of my half. Perfect snack for later. The pimento cheese is WOW, but I wouldn't serve it with the frips. I would dip a chip or lay in a ritz. I will definitely be back on my next trip.

Lillian B.

Yelp
We ordered a muffuletta and a chop salad. The salad was fresh, delicious, and great quality. The muffuletta-YUMMYYY!!! They make a really nice muffuletta, I mean you have to try it!! I split the sandwich and the salad with my boyfriend and we were happy and full at the end. Service was nice. We placed a call in order so we could just run in and grab it so I'm not sure about the ambience inside. We took ours to-go and ate it in City Park- a lovely little lunch.

Yelp
Had a rare day off with my wife and decided to have lunch at Francesca by Katie's, based on the reviews here. Was very disappointed. First of all the whole ordering process was confusing and we stood around awkwardly thinking we would be seated. After figuring out that we should order at the counter and the food would be delivered to us, we ordered the Reuben sandwich for my wife and I ordered the roast beef poor boy along with an order of the Da Brees frips. The frips were thin sliced potato wedges advertised as being "fries and chips". They were neither. The soggy, slices of cardboard, I mean potatoes, were topped with a thin roast beef gravy with no debris at all and topped by a huge scoop of mealy pimento cheese. The meat on both of our sandwiches was a generous portion but dry, tough and lukewarm, as if it had been heated in a microwave. The roast beef was a large sandwich on nicely toasted French bread. Rather than the beef being warmed in the gravy, it was stacked on the sandwich and the gravy was spooned over it. Nothing at all like a traditional roast beef poor boy. If you're going to serve. Roast beef in New Orleans you have to do better than this. The Reuben, in addition to a huge portion of dry, tough corned beef, was served with very little sauerkraut and dressing. Very disappointing all the way around, especially for $45 plus tip. I almost felt that a tip shouldn't be necessary since we got our own drinks and ordered at the counter, but the server was upbeat and friendly. There are many better sandwich options in the city and the food here doesn't warrant a return visit.

Yelp
So tonight I enjoyed my second meal from Francesca's. Tonight I placed a to go order by phone. My hubs and I weren't too hungry, so based on the generous size of the poboy we shared on our last visit. we chose to split something on this visit as well. We went with a Reuben and, wow, what a sandwich! It was chock-full of tender, thinly sliced, lean, corned beef. Plenty enough cheese and dressing too. It was delicious and big enough for us to split. We also shared a side of the truffle mac and cheese. I'd definitely get a side if you're splitting a sandwich. The truffle mac and cheese was very tasty. It was very rich and had a mildly smoky flavor. My first visit was a success as well. We shared a meatball poboy. There was no doubt in my mind that the meatballs were homemade. Any y'all, the bread!! I'm a bread freak, and this bread was perfect! The red gravy was a winner too. Francesca's is casual, bright, clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. I'm a fan.

Louann D.

Yelp
Excellent service and excellent food! I had a meatball poboy, with a side of mac and cheese. My friend had a cochon du lait poboy and we shared pimento frips. Everything was delicious. I had tons left over to take home to my hubby and son but ordered a Cuban to go for them. It was all delicious! Definitely going back to try something else!
google avatar

Kelsey J.

Yelp
Quite disappointed with my recent order from Francesca's. Ordered a create your own sandwich with turkey on white bread - asked for it to be toasted, and it was not :( A BLT with American cheese, was charged for the cheese, but no cheese on the sandwich. And an order of the Da Brees Frips. By the time we got back home, the frips were soggy and unappetizing. The gravy/pimento cheese combination should not be served on the hot fries, and should be packaged separately when ordering to-go. The hot/humid combination just was not good. Raved about the sandwiches in the past, and I know it's been a tough transition for all. But if I order from here again, definitely just going to stick to pizza.
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
Woah, this place has some crazy good food! Portion sizes are a bit over average, prices are average, but the quality is through the roof! Plenty of outdoor seating, clean indoor seating and restrooms, and a super friendly and helpful staff. As you can see by the name, it's the same owner as Katie's so there is a great reputation behind this joint as well. The Legend stuffed poboy was amazing. The cochon de lait was easy the most tender pork I've ever had. Combined with the bbq shrimp and sauce used, it was an outstanding poboy to say the least. The club sandwich and meatball sub were also great. The fried okra and frips were fried to perfection. The okra had a great batter and the frips (fries/chips) were crispy and well seasoned. Hands down worth a drive to check this dive out!

Vladimir I.

Yelp
A year ago I stopped going due to bad service (extremely rude employees). We went back to give this place another shot and my cuban sandwich barely had any meat on it! I know costs to operate have risen over the past year, but increase your prices on the menu instead of serving you customers food like this!
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
I throughly enjoyed my experience here. It is counter service and a little expensive, but the food both times I have been here have been fantastic. I really like the vibe, and it seems like the owner may be a fan of St. Louis, Missouri, as the decor inside suggests so. I got the grouper sandwich, and it was fantastic: my entire group was satisfied with their food as well. A lovely little New Orleans gem on Harrison Ave. The drink machine was broken when I was there, but they do have a great selection of specialty sodas and such.

Yelp
WOW! What a find. I was turned on to "Francesca by Katie's" thru a good friend, and am I thankful! When you walk in its very quaint and cozy. Seating is great and comfy for two or four at a table, if more, you can put two tables together or eat outside, which is a relaxing outdoor experience. There's a fridge to your right that houses just the right libations and soft drinks needed, to pair with the great food you will soon be eating. Right in front is the counter and ordering area, the staff is right there waiting to serve you. The staff is so delightful to customers , that I said to myself, " Hmmm, I wonder if Lauren (my server) is a long lost cousin from Alsace Lorraine, thinking I own a B&B, and she's being xtra nice, uh huh. Nah, MO, she is just a pure people pleaser, WOW! I can't wait to meet the other staffers. My last visit to Francesca's, I had a roast beef Po'boy. I have never eaten a roast beef on a po'boy in my life. I tried it and loved it ! What a delight, l'll always get a roast beef, even in addition to my gluttonic ( I just made that word up) order. My guest had a shrimp po'boy, what a beautiful sight. You had to open your mouth a minimum of 4 inches , my guest had the "Da Bree's Frips, and I had the "Bacon Blu Frips. I had a glance at the Chef and cooks , long live this crew, they can get down with the grub, ya heah me, y'all. This is a great place for relaxing and consuming one of and some of Nu'Awlins Best of Louisiana cooking, the most professional and genuine people making " Francesca by Katie's," a part of your "To Do Stop!" the menu is absolutely great. Pics and menu will be added in a few hours. Stay prayed up, and you will do what is best for you. As Tootie use to say on facts of life ' TOOTLES' ya'll

Yelp
Met with five classmates from the early 70's. I eat here with my wife and family at least six times a year. Friends were in love with the roast beef and club sandwiches. I got my favorite Reuben. They thought the Frips were better than French fries. A week later I still get messages on a good lunch. Take a tip. Try the specials and enjoy their overstuffed shrimp poboy. Great place for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
I have to be fair and offer an honest review. Not sure If it was just a bad day but I ordered a large pepp pizza to take home and the thing was literally burnt all the way around and underneath. It was uneaten until my dog lowered her lovely head. The muffalatta was decent but for paying over $40, it was disappointing to say the least. Perhaps I ordered the off menu item. DO NOT order pizza there (IMO). Nice people tho.

Michelle Q.

Yelp
The legend sandwich is just that! A legend of deliciousness. It's a Cochon de Lait and BBQ shrimp stuffed poboy. It's got a nice spicy kick to it. It's big enough to split, but I wouldn't recommend sharing. It's that good! The moon sandwich consists of ham, roast beef, provolone cheese and Swiss cheese. It has coleslaw with Russian dressing. The dressing makes this sandwich. Very tasty! I will be back to try more of their deliciousness.

Great sandwiches! Delicious Comfort food and friendly staff make this a good spot for carryout or dine in. Loved the Reuben! A little pricey but worth it :)

Yelp
Hold on to your wallet! Decided to grab a quick to-go sandwich for lunch today. Noted a veggie sandwich with avocado and sprouts on the menu so ordered that and asked to add turkey. Go to pick up my order and it was a shocking $18 ($17.49 to be exact) for a take out sandwich with no side!!! Had a bit of sticker shock, but still hoped to find a fabulous sandwich inside when I got home. Based on the pics you can see that absolutely did not happen. Don't know what restaurant would feel ok charging any customer almost $18 for the sandwich pictured!! Went to their website to look at the menu more closely after the fact, and realized that had I said "build your own" and ordered from the build your own section of their menu, this very same sandwich would have cost $10.99. Or I could have ordered a full club sandwich and added the avocado and sprouts and still it would have been less! Shocking! Also on our first visit our table received it's food at such different times that one of us was done before the other two ever received any food. We didn't complain just figured they needed more time to figure things out but perhaps not. I will say the employees and staff are very nice, but otherwise not too excited about this place.

Yelp
My fiancé and I were on our way to lunch nearby when we happened to walk by this lovely restaurant about 10 minutes after it opened its doors for the first time. We decided to peek in just to see what they had to offer and were delighted to know we were their first customers ever! Their menu (I took a few photos and uploaded them for reference) has a large variety of sandwiches, brisket burgers, salads and pizza. They also have a small deli area with a variety of dips, cheeses, meats and crackers. They also have a decent selection of vegetarian options, which surprised me as you don't see that as often. I ordered a Cajun Cuban which was on pressed French bread. The flavors were lovely together and the bread was the perfectly crisp! My fiancé got the brisket burger (made with 100% ground brisket) which was very juicy. We split an order of flips, which are thin French fries that are very crisp. My only criticism is that the portion size for the flips was too small to share between two people. If you are going with a friend, you should both get your own order. Once you order, you sit at your table and they bring the food to you. The owner (Scott) and manager (Noelle) came to check on us several times and brought us some additional flips with their pimento cheese to thank us for being the first customers. Everyone who worked there was very nice and their customer service is on point. Overall, we loved our lunch and are so grateful that we stumbled upon their opening day!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch yesterday because Katie's was doing some renovations. As expected, it didn't disappoint! Only think holding it back from being a 5 is the fries didn't hold the heat. Great when they first hit the table but quickly cooled. Great first visit though and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I just moved down the street and I can't stop telling people about this place! Been going to Katie's forever, would highly recommend Francesca's! It's small, you order at the counter. Our cashier was so nice and patient with all of our questions as first timers. There's plenty to choose from on the menu and also a specials board. She recommended the meatball sub, I'm pregnant, I almost ordered another one to go for a midnight snack! The meatballs are perfect, good size, great flavor, nice and moist. My boyfriend roast beef poboy was also fantastic, I highly recommend their "frips" very crunchy long and thin frys. They have a self serve fountain drinks station or a nice size beer and wine fridge in the front. There's a larger dining area in the back, someone is definitely a Cards fan but as long as any baseball is playing on the tv I won't complain! They had people walking around bussing tables and making sure we didn't need anything, I can't wait to go back and try more!

Yelp
Best pizza I have ever had. I don't normally write reviews about restaurants but this pizza was so amazing that I decided to. The crust is awesome and perfectly crispy, and you could tell that all the ingredients are fresh. We got the seafood and meat lovers pizzas, and we all agreed that it was the best pizza we've ever tasted.
