Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Super fast friendly and absolutely delicious. The cheese isn’t over done and the crust is perfect. Light but a little chew and plenty of crunch. Will definitely be back every time I’m in Providence.

Yummiest pizza I’ve had in my life. First I ate the BBQ but now I’ve been eating the General Tsao (?) flavor. They also have a deal where if you order 3 slices, you get a free drink! So I order 1 slice and my stepdad orders 2 and then gets sodaaa Overall good, and nice reading material (about the restaurant) on the walls while you wait

First time ever going to the pizza place in 22 years of my life of living in Rhode Island and it’s a very crowded cute cozy place just on the nook off of Hope Street. The people that come in are less far than pleasant. Unfortunately, most of highschoolers college students go here which is so good for the economy. The pizza is over really good especially with the honey drizzle and the pepperoni of course is a great combination. First time is then we go here for quick snack or break.

Pretty good pizza, Dave’s rating checks out. Good ratio of crust:cheese:toppings. Service was a little slow despite being the only people inside. The wings were supposed to be buffalo but did not look or taste it. Would recommend the pizza but not the wings as much.

This is the best pizza in RI. The crust is crispy and delicious, the sauce is perfect, and the cheese is chef's kiss perfect! The people that work there, I am assuming is all family who owns the business because they truly put their heart and soul into making sure their food is perfect every time. I will forever be a customer here.

Small, quaint pizzeria located near downtown Providence. No sit down area, so take out only. Pizza was decent, but not sure what the buzz is about. Called an hour before pick up time, and yet the pizzas were still late by 20 minutes. Couple of the teenagers working there were fighting over who’s supposed to do what. Hard to find parking on a surprisingly busy side street. Not exactly a good experience.

I ordered a cheeseburger calzone online, when I got to the place they said they had to remake - a little inconvenient, no problem. 30 min later I pick it up and get home to find it burnt on the bottom and undercooked. The calzone was very heavy and fell apart while trying to eat, dough too thin and chewy and bacon undercooked. Overall it severely lacked in taste. I waited an hour and I could only get through a few bites before I lost my appetite. First and last time visiting </3

Take out only. Thank goodness I won this pizza bc is it totally not worth $18. I got their specialty The Honey Bear which is a red sauce pizza with bacon, pepperoni, ricotta cheese and Mike’s hot honey. The pizza was undercooked with some raw dough towards the center of the pizza, under the cheese because it was not as thin as NYC pizza. The dough was tasteless and too fluffy without the chew. I could not detect any honey and if there was, they didn’t put enough. Overall, the pizza tasted like a franchise pizza chain restaurant. Jan 2025

This was my second time at Francesco's Pizzeria and was looking forward to eating their pizza. The first time I went was for a slice and it was light, crispy, fresh...just delicious. Unfortunately, I was very dissapointed in the large Margherita pie I ordered this time around. The dough was brittle, the cheese didn't taste all that fresh and the rest of the ingredients (sauce and spices) were just OK. It's always dissapointing when a restaurant lacks consistency and leaves you wondering what happened? Is it the cook at certain shifts, carelessness, different quality products? I don't know, but this place may be worth a try if they could output the product I had during my first visit. The pizza was dissapointing, but the wings were good. It tasted fresh, very crispy and hit the spot. The wings definitely saved the overall meal which is why I gave them a 3 overall, but the pizza was like a 2. The other stuff - I called in and was put on a long hold. The employee I spoke to was a apologetic about the wait and was overall pleasant. Good Pizza We got a takeout order, it's a pizza shop. Not really an eat in. Quality pizza, we got the sausage and ricotta. You can tell they put time into making good dough. Toppings were quality. All around one of the better pizzas you can get in Providence. Thanks

A let down... Went here from the Portnoy review and felt like they didn't give us the same pizza as him. Ordered one cheese and one pepperoni pizza. The sauce was the main let down... didn't taste any different then something I could buy from the market. Well they got me in the joint so kudos to them but I don't think I'll be making the 45 minute trip back.

This place is terrible. I went here based on great reviews from critics and Barstool.. what a mistake. The pizza was undercooked and the extra toppings added was minimal.. we're talking a large pepperoni pizza with 6 pepperoni. That's just cheap/lazy and irritating. The real negative here was the woman working the register on Saturday 4/27 at 4:30. Major attitude for no reason and told me to hurry up and pay so she could take her break. Are you serious? Who talks to people like that. For all potential patrons considering this place.. hard pass

I ordered wings and a sandwich from them a few months ago. I waited an hour and a half for the order. The staff never apologized for the wait or made any assurances while I waited there that the food would be ready soon. Anytime I would ask if my order would be ready soon, I was told the location was new (which at the time it was a new location) and they had a lot of orders. Which okay, fair point but that was still not a reason to make me wait that long for wings and a sandwich. When I finally got the wings and ate them at home the wings were not very good at all. Though the sandwich was good. I have not gone there since after that. I am writing this now because I still get annoyed when I drive by the place.

Providence is a veritable theme park if you're into world class Italian so... it is a little disconcerting to be confronted with a General Tso's pizza. I guess we're just in the throes of feeling we can throw anything together on some lump of dough and give it a Paisan fist bump for authenticity. A little too random for my taste but when you can buy a Twinkie Smoothie six pack at Walmart all bets are off when it comes to culinary DNA. Anyway, I liked the pizza despite it's confused pedigree. Just don't tell Cap'n Crunch. Four stars.

Francesco's Pizzeria was a stop for the 6th Annual Search for the Best Scoop Shop RI with RI Food Fights. When we saw this stop, we were very excited that a pizzeria was also serving ice cream. There were a few flavors to select. I chose a scoop of the tiramisu gelato. It was very refreshing and light. Since we walked in, the pizza smelled so good and purchased 2 slices. They have earned awards such as the most instagrammable pizza, most delicious pizza, and most creative pizza. I saw they have a General Tso's pizza which has General Tso Chicken, Roasted Red Peppers, Scallions. Thought that was unique. I had their Classic Pepperoni-Red Pizza, Pepperoni and my husband ordered a slide of the Buffalo Chicken-Shredded Buffalo Chicken, Scallions, Mozzarella. The crust was crunchy and crisp and it wasn't too saucy. This was delicious. There is street parking available. In front of the pizzeria there are a few seats with a middle stand for sharing. These were so cool and efficient. Service was great. It was just 1 woman managing the phones, customers inside, and managing the orders. I would definitely come back for their slice & ice deal which is 99¢ slice of cheese pizza with your purchase of any ice cream.

Tried their 'Meat Market' today. Found their pizza to be better than average. Will definitely come back to try a cheese or one of their other specialty Pizzas. No place to sit though, basically take out only.

Forget 7.9, this place is 10.0. Pizza was outstanding, prices reasonable, service fast and friendly. Location convenient. Couldn't ask for more. Stephanie from behind the counter was even so nice as to track down an extra shirt from the recent celebrity appearance. I was up in Providence for a basketball game and this detour made my day.

A decent pizza. Cooked well, a nice sweet sauce and a good cheese blend. Street parking only, and a cramped interior. People were friendly and curious. One knock, would be the codes on the website for discounts not working.

The Honey bear pizza with the pepperoni, bacon, ricotta, mozzarella cheese and that drizzle of Hot honey--CHEF KISS. They always make it on point! My go to!

Francescos is one of the best slices in town. Will return. Tried this place in the Lord of the Pies competition and was glad I did! I am normally a very serious person about my pizza. Thin Ny style slice of pepperoni is my personal favorite. I got adventurous with my coupon and tried the general Tso slice. The touch of sweetness and chicken coupled with a perfect crust were astoundingly good. We really enjoyed the wings and also tried a small pepperoni pizza. I enjoyed the pizza, but the crust was thicker. It was also great and would get again, but the thin slice was sooo good. Friendly people in a walkup shop. No seating, to go only. I ordered online and had no problem parking on the street out front. It was perfect to place my main order then walk up a few minutes beforehand to get a slice while I wait!

If you came here thinking about getting the General Tso's Pizza... DO IT This was hands down one of the best pizzas me and my girl have had in a while. We ordered about 30 minutes before closing and it was one of the best decisions we made. No flop on the pie, beautiful under carriage and the toppings were solid. Not normally a fan of a white pizza but the general tso's sauce took this pie to the next level. Will we order again? Absolutely. We've tried a lot of pizza spots in Providence and have been somewhat disappointed but not here. Absolutely ranked on my top 5 pizzerias.

I ordered a four layer cake, but I guess they were out so they sent me this little tiny sliver of a torte and charge me the same price. when I say it was a slivwe got it was about six bites.

This review is based on an Uber Eats delivery. I didn't dine in. Just moved to Riverside and was looking for a good turn to pizza place. I'd say this one is a winner. Was poking around on Uber eats and noticed this place had a deal at the moment; BOGO free of their 3 cheese pizza. Went for it and added meatball to both cheese pizzas. We also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. I take off one star because the crust on the BBQ pizza was pretty 'meh'. The flavor was delicious though. I'm a woman who likes a good pizza crust and both 3 cheese pizzas were perfecto. Tasty meatballs, plenty of cheese, a rich sauce and soft crust with light crunch on the outside. All in all, good pizza, okay pricing (like the deals/coupons) and will be ordering again.

I've been to Francesco's for pizza twice with about a year in between. I think they're working on improving their pizza. Recently I went here for the Rhode Island food fights ice cream month and got a scoop of salted caramel gelato. It's very reasonably priced, and quite good. They had more flavors to choose from than I'd expect for a place more focused on pizza. Overall, I'd probably go again for gelato, and I'd consider the deal they advertised for adding a piece of pizza to an ice cream purchase for only 99 cents. The shop is small, but there is some seating outside. More of a pick up and go place. Street parking here is also generally pretty easy.

I tried this place when they first opened 3 years ago and was very impressed but turned off by the super long wait. After watching the Dave Portnoy review and trying again, all I have to say is Wow! Nice crispy crust, perfect amount of grease, and a little floppy NY style. Folding it in half is the way to do it. I had the Brown U special - pepperoni/ricotta//hot honey. Blew me away. My 4 and 9 year old were equally impressed with their cheese and pepperoni slices. Next time I'm going to try a General Tso slice. Highly recommended!

Crust was very crispy so it would hold up well to any amount of toppings. The crust was very thin with very little air making the edges very hard. Flavors were good and caramelized onions were delicious. Parm fries were disappointing so would skip them next time. Overall, would order again.

Best pizza in Providence! Great staff. Super authentic Providence experience. We love the General Tsos Chicken pizza and their selection of favored wings! The Thai Chili wings are some of the best you can find in the city.

This place is falling off. Was good before but the last few times ive ordered it hasnt been good or worth it at all! I order a Meat lovers and doesnt come with the toppings thats listed. I order a simple chz pizza and it taste burnt and is very weird looking. Im not sure what is going on with you guys!

Great friendly staff. Had the honey bear pizza and wow. 10/10 recommend. Try the sweet Thai chili wings or garlic rosemary. Def my fav pizza joint.

We wanted to pick up some apps to eat while we were watching the game on Sunday, and were in the area so we stopped in to order something to go and ate a ready made slice from the case while we were waiting. This location is to go/takeout only - which was perfect for us. While we were waiting, we saw several Uber eats pickups happen, which means that other people had the same idea too. I had the General Tso's slice - which was both sweet and savory and my kids a pepperoni and cheese slice. The pizza is a thin crust and there was a good amount of toppings on them. The wings were well seasoned and juicy and the mozzarella sticks were crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside - just how we like them! While this spot isn't our usual neighborhood pizza place, it was very good and we were happy to have had the chance to try them out today.

The service was awkward. The girl who took my order had a snarky attitude as if she has it under control but proceeded to forget about my slices in the oven resulting in her having to replace the pizza. Once I finished I asked her to discard my pizza box and she responded as if she was too good to do her job. Saying "all you have to do it fold the box" hinting at my trouble trying to fit a large box into a small trash can. It bothered me enough to want to leave this review. People who "know it all" shouldn't be in charge of businesses where the customer is always right!

I went to the new Francesco's in North Providence yesterday. I will definitely be returning! I loved the Zara's Mediterranean pizza! The service was great!

Out of all the pizzas I have tried, Francesco's pizzeria out did their selves. The thin crust honey bear pizza is my favorite. Pair it with Buffalo oven roasted wings and it taste even better. Lastly, my experience with the customer service is what keeps making me come back. 10/10 recommend!

Unfortunately, it was a letdown for me, too. These are premade crusts, not hand-tossed pizza. I was expecting it to be bigger, too. It's a 10-inch pie for what, 28.00? It's totally not worth it to me. I could have gone to the store and made this.

A friend bought some food here came home crying because the staff was just terrible to them. They interrupted them while ordering, muttered slurs under his breathe when he turned to get drinks, didn't clean the place at all, forgot ranch for the wings. At least the food was okay but we will not come back here again.

Taco salad - 2 stars They need to do a better job at chopping up the iceberg lettuce; too many big pieces. They literally put maybe l1 of 2 crumbled up tortilla chips and they tasted stale. Classic 3 cheese pizza - 3.5 stars Order well done - it's the crust for me. The pizza gives me a homemade vibe, maybe it's their sauce.

Definitely a great combo of flavorful dough, sauces, and cheese. Loved the namesake pizza with sausage and ricotta and caramelized onion.

The pizza was so delicious and we can't wait to try more! So far we've been here twice and had a great experience. The place is kind of small, but we are walking distance so it's cool that we can just grab and go. Service could have been better, but we can get over it for how tasty the pizza was!

This place easily has one of the best vegan pizzas around. Will definitely be returning

I was looking for a new pizza place on Uber Eats and I found Francesco's. My husband got a large pepperoni & cheese and I got a medium Zara Greek Pizza. It was excellent! I am very picky about pizza since I lived in NYC for so many years & this didn't disappoint! The Zara pizza (white pizza) has mozzarella, feta, roasted red bell peppers, artichoke hearts, spinach, sliced tomatoes, and kalmata olives. It was done perfectl. My husband wouldn't leave my pizza alone. I wish I got a large Zara instead. This will be my new pizza place from here on out! Highly recommend!

Officially my new go-to pizza spot!! Staff was super friendly (even offered a free slice of pizza to get some feedback on it). Food was top notch. The sweet Thai chili wings are a must-try! Great small location with seating area outside.

Yummy pizza and even yummier calzones. I don't love a huge, sloppy/greasy calzone and this place does it right. Clean, full of toppings, and huge. Their pizza is solid and they have some pretty funky options if you're up for it. A go-to for me when a calzone craving strikes.

I've been dying to try the General Tso's pizza after seeing photos on social media, and it did not disappoint. It tastes as good as it looks - a little sweet, a little spicy and a whole lot of flavor. We also got a regular cheese and pepperoni for my picky toddler who ate three pieces, and declared it "the best pizza ever". Kudos to Frankie, Eloina & the team at Francesco's! Can't wait to try some of the other amazing menu items. I also appreciate that they deliver to NP, which is super handy. We'll def order again.

First visit today, ordered a cheese pizza, quality ingredients prepared to perfection. I can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu. Very very good.

Tried it out for the first time yesterday! Ordered the pizza with mikes hot honey and the Nashville hot wings for dinner with friends and they loved it! Will be ordering again!

This is not as good as pizza gourmet that's for sure!! We thought it was a good night to give it a try. We ordered "smoked" wings and a pizza. The wings were NOT wood oven roasted they were 100% deep fried with par cooked onions. I wish the onions were listed that they came with the wings because my fiancé HATES cooked onions!! The amount of grease on these wings were the reason we knew they were not oven roasted . The blue cheese that came with the wings had about a 1/2 ounce of blue cheese in a 2 oz cup. Now the pizza... sighhhh what a disappointment. Zero flavor in the sauce, the dough was decent but paper thin, which isn't always a bad thing until you decide to LOAD it with as much cheese as you think is possible and everything slides off with your first bite. We know this is a newer place so first try's are always hard to judge! We will give it another shot especially because we want small businesses to succeed!!!

Ordered Margarita pizza. Terrible, not one sign of a fresh basil anywhere. Totally overcooked tasted like cardboard. I ordered via Grub hub with the promise of free fried mozzarella sticks. That ended to be untrue. I gave 2 stars only because I ordered well done, my error. But I assume we'll done meant crispy not flat like cardboard. I will never order from them again.

We found our go-to pizza place on the East Side! My wife and I make amazing pizza. We lived on the West End for a while and got used to a couple great pizza places. We moved to the East end of Providence 7 months ago and have tried several places which were OK but not worth the price. Tonight, on a whim, my wife wanted to try a new place, and we ordered from Francescos. It was decently priced, ready in 20 minutes (on a Friday night), and the pizzas were great. Mozz sticks had parmesan shaved over the top while they were hot. Great touch. Peperoni pizza had ample toppings, tangy sauce, thin and chewy crust with a crispy bottom, and gooey cheese. We will be back.

Feh pizza, nothing special, the general tso pizza is odd, doesn't make the cut. Slice's are available, you never know what your going to get charged, she cut a slice in two, tried to charge me for 2 slices. Was bogus. They have no garlic, seem to be somewhat inexperienced when it comes to food ideas, very basic. Pizza's ok, but nothing special

I ordered the triple cheese pizza with banana peppers and meatball, and garlic bread. My garlic bread was burnt and really dry, and the crust for the pizza didn't hold up to the toppings so it was pretty floppy.

The service here just goes above and beyond every single time. Every time I visit, the staff literally bend over backwards to assist in whatever way they can. Their pizza is really good, especially the nacho and general tso ones. It is pricey but they have lots of discounts which make it reasonable. Their gelato is very expensive and to me, tastes absolutely nothing like gelato but moreso like bland watery ice cream.

Great stuff! The general tso's lives up to the hype and my the pepperoni Mushroom was on point. Tasty!

New pizza spot! Check this gem out! Was very excited to try this new place out. I'm a bit lazy sometimes so I was stalling to order from this place. I saw in instagram that they added some more areas of delivery and took the chance to order. Ordered half Margherita and half Pesto. The crust and and sauce were AMAZING!!! The toppings very fresh as well. Delivery was very fast and wearing masks due to covid precautions. Can't wait to order more from this place!
