"Specializing in over-the-top doughnuts including “Dat Cookie Doe,” a blue-frosted donut topped with raw cookie dough and crushed chocolate chip cookies, the shop is from Stuffed! founders Tori and Alex Gould (AG Industry Concepts) who opened a burger and doughnut combo last fall in Pacific Beach. The Liberty Public Market outlet will offer more than dozen yeast and cake donut varieties in addition to cronuts, vegan doughnuts, and other pastries from executive chef Francis Laureano (Bottega Louie, Blue Bridge Hospitality)." - Candice Woo

My wife and I really enjoyed Frat Boys Donuts. We stopped in later in the day on a Sunday and I was afraid that they would be wiped out but I was pleasantly surprised that they had a nice selection of donuts. They run a little bit more then your generic donut shop but they are well worth the price of about $3 each and their flavors are things you don't normally see offered. We took ours just down the road to Mission Beach Park and enjoy them while looking at the ocean which made them taste even better. The next time you're in Pacific Beach stop by Frat Boys Donuts and give them a try

Staff is always friendly and courteous. Great selection of fun flavors but they only make so many so get there early before they run out! Cronut, Banana Nutella, and chocolate peanut butter are my favorites.

Very friendly staff and the donuts and cookies are amazing. They are a bit pricey but you'll get something special like the bacon-cone and the everything cookie.

Great donuts. Love the selection. The only con is that the donuts are made the night before.

$2.00 for a glazed donut and all basic donuts. They are priced individually. If you buy six you get one free. Essentially $12+ for a half dozen. I bought maple, sugar, glazed, and cake donuts and delivered them to Fishermen. First bite was into a maple donut. The icing was so disgusting he tore off the top part of the donut, threw it overboard, and ate the bottom half. These fishermen consume ALL but these donuts are terrible and overpriced.

Cute shop, donuts were disappointing. Parking lot...got out of our car and my husband stepped on a crack pipe. Walked into the shop and the donut selection was not that impressive. What was there looked like they had been there a couple of days. The Vanilla iced donut was very pretty, but nothing special. The Lemon Meringue was not very lemony and the donut was not tasty. Tasted like it was more than a day old. Took a bite or two and the rest went in the trash. Wasn't worth it. So disappointed!

After dinner date and we were on the hunt for dessert. Frat Boy Donuts popped up on my trusty Yelp app and off we went. We pulled up around 7pm. Okay, okay, we know evening is not the ideal time to get donuts so we we weren't hoping for much, but not only were pickings slim, what was left did not look appealing at all. We perused what was remaining and left empty handed. I will say we didn't try anything and based on other reviews it sounds like these suckers taste pretty darn good. I've got to hit them up with a 3.5 stars and will admit I am biased. I don't dig gourmet or "trendy" donut shops. I like me a good ol' fresh -> out of the oven -> doughy donut with no frills (okay, maybe sprinkles), but that's it. Knowing these donuts had been sitting for a while (their website says they stay open till they're sold out which to me implies the ones we saw were made same day, but minutes or hours fresh). Next time I'm in the area I may try and hit them up earlier in the a.m. when things are fresh and there's more to choose from, but in the meantime I'll keep loving my local old school donut shop with fresh donuts every hour.
