Leaving this from about a month ago - would not recommend this place! We were seated in the bar area where they had their personal belongings on a table in the corner. We had a very odd encounter with a waitress who came to ask us what we would like to drink, as if she had never seen a gay couple, and just stared at us for a few seconds with no words after getting our drink order. Afterwards, we had a second waitress come and ask us for our food order instead, so that was awkward. The second waitress even apologized for the firsts behavior, so I am not sure what she was feeling in that moment. Ordered a drink from the bar, our appetizer and entrees had made it out before this drink. I watched the bartender make drinks for her bar guests before making mine, which was put in way before her bar guests had even arrived. Food was good, so if you want a decent burger you’ll be fine! Everything else was not, and we will not be coming back. Just go to Gusto’s on Magnolia, better all-around!
Ex-server here - calling people “baby” and flipping your long dyed hair isn’t going to get you tips with every table. I do not mean to make that waitress seem homophobic, but something sure was off when she saw that those tricks weren’t going to do anything for us. We tipped the second waitress $30 on a $50 check, so joke’s on her I guess. Even with the negative visit.
