Freed's has made many cakes for me over the years. Whether I'm custom ordering desserts or just stopping in to grab something ready-made from the cooler, these guys never disappoint. Cakes are always moist and flavorful with precise decorations. The custom Godzilla cake they did for my son's bday was phenomenal! I also love all their cookies and buy a box for my staff and for gifts during the holidays (they are always gobbled up!). Their rugelach cookies are particularly addicting.

I ordered a Lemon Cake w/ Bavarian Cream & Strawberry Puree. Overall the cake was ok… Cake was moist, the Bavarian cream was light & not overly sweet. The disappointing part was the strawberry puree or the lack of. It honestly would have been a great cake if more purée was actually in it. I could not taste any strawberry flavor, which made the cake pretty bland.. Did they run out and not want to make more?.. maybe..did they stretch the thinest possible layer over the cake, YES… for a $60 cake I was really disappointed.. I usually love a good lemon cake but sadly this was not one of them. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have wanted to try out this place for quite sometime. I decided to stop by this weekend to sample a slice of cake and possibly purchase a birthday cake next month. When I walked in, immediately I saw rows of cakes and cookies on display. The display cases were fully stocked so I took my time and looked over all of the selection of goodies. As I looked on there was a girl at the front counter, she didn’t say anything she just watched. It would have been nice if she had asked if I needed assistance or if I was looking for anything in particular. She began talking only once I asked about what the most popular cake was. She was friendly but I feel like customers should always be engaged when entering a business. I purchased a slice of cake to go. I decided on the strawberry shortcake. It was neatly packaged in a narrow box that held the cake upright. I would say overall the cake was really good. It was moist and the whipped cream was perfectly sweetened.

I requested their help with making a fairy house cake for my daughter. I gave them an inspiration picture and boy did they deliver. It was the most amazing cake we have ever had. My daughter was so in love with it, she almost didn't want to cut it. Thank you so much Freed's Bakery and Team for creating some amazing memories for my daughter's 4th birthday. I can't wait to see what you guys will create for her next birthday 🤩🤩🤩

Freeds Dessert Shop NEVER fails!!! We ordered the blackout chocolate cake and it was completely amazing!!! We were told to bring it out of the fridge about 1.5 hours before eating and it was wonderful advice! The chocolate buttercream was so luscious and the cake was moist... WOW... I could go on and... LOL

Tried to order a 6-pack of cookies for my mom’s birthday - she lives down the street from this bakery so I thought local delivery would be easy. $50 delivery for a $45 box of cookies is absolutely insane. I don’t care how good the cookies are, there is no reason for the delivery fee to be more than the product, especially when the delivery distance is less than a mile.

Ordered a birthday cake from Freed’s and it was absolutely amazing! The design was beautifully done and tasted just as good as it looked. My daughter loved it and it made her birthday extra special. Thank you, Freed’s, for the perfect cake — we’ll definitely be coming back! 🎂💖

Second time coming in just as good as the first! My kids got cupcakes I got 1lb box of assorted cookies my favorites are the wedding and shortbread cookies. Both time the ladies working there were kind and patient while we were choosing. We will continue being loyal customers and I can't wait to order my kids birthday cakes here they look amazing!!!
