"Wynwood isn’t exactly a cheap place to eat these days. But this spot is a good bet for one of the more affordable fun dinners in Wynwood, especially if you're in the mood for cocktails and pizza. That's what you'll be eating here—and it's a nice, foldable thin-crust version. The seating is mostly outdoors, located in a courtyard in the center of the building. So you don't have to deal with Wynwood foot traffic brushing up against your table. There's also a giant disco ball, a DJ booth, and a big bar in case you want to stick around for drinks after dinner. " - Ryan Pfeffer
"Those craving a simple evening of cocktails and New York-style pizza will feel right at home here. With an expansive space that includes three bars and a generous outdoor courtyard, there are plenty of spots to enjoy the Ciao Ciao Spritz made with Martini Riserva, St. Germain, and Fever Tree Bitter lemon soda." - Alona Martinez
"Freehold has a nice little courtyard with outdoor seating, a massive disco ball, and a DJ. They have good pizza and other small plates to share before a night out. Make a reservation online." - ryan pfeffer
"Service at Freehold is, in our experience, very fast. So the Wynwood spot is a solid option for a quick dinner before bar-hopping or any date you'd like to keep under an hour. The food is pretty straightforward—but it's all solid and reliably tasty. Pizza is what most folks are eating here—a nice, foldable thin-crust version. The outdoor seating is in a courtyard in the center of the building, so you don't have to deal with foot traffic brushing up against your table. "Designed by the Rockwell Group, this sibling Freehold to the Brooklyn flagship mixes vintage, industrial style with Miami’s tropical exuberance for a blended indoor-outdoor space awash in palm leaf prints and toffee-colored leather couches. Expect a vocal crowd, here for the strong cocktails, convivial atmosphere and themed nights (check their calendar for the extensive programming). Wines and beers are serviceable but the big draw (and social media moment) is the "large format" cocktails which are essentially giant punch bowls serving anywhere from 8 to 12 imbibers of things like the Paloma Royale made with fresh grapefruit and ginger. The staff is as young and tattooed as the clientele but are knowledgeable about drinks and the menu and can make great recommendations based on preferences. It's great for post-work drinks with friends or a boozy brunch set to house music." - Sara Liss
