"Wynwood isn’t exactly a cheap place to eat these days. But this spot is a good bet for one of the more affordable fun dinners in Wynwood, especially if you're in the mood for cocktails and pizza. That's what you'll be eating here—and it's a nice, foldable thin-crust version. The seating is mostly outdoors, located in a courtyard in the center of the building. So you don't have to deal with Wynwood foot traffic brushing up against your table. "Designed by the Rockwell Group, this sibling Freehold to the Brooklyn flagship mixes vintage, industrial style with Miami’s tropical exuberance for a blended indoor-outdoor space awash in palm leaf prints and toffee-colored leather couches. Expect a vocal crowd, here for the strong cocktails, convivial atmosphere and themed nights (check their calendar for the extensive programming). Wines and beers are serviceable but the big draw (and social media moment) is the "large format" cocktails which are essentially giant punch bowls serving anywhere from 8 to 12 imbibers of things like the Paloma Royale made with fresh grapefruit and ginger. The staff is as young and tattooed as the clientele but are knowledgeable about drinks and the menu and can make great recommendations based on preferences.
