"Pescaito frito (fried fish) is a staple in the Sevillano diet. You’ll find it in some form on most menus around the city, but this fry shop in Santa Cruz has been doing it best since 1929. Order a mixed quarter kilo (about half a pound) of seafood, and pick from a variety of fresh squid, shrimp, fish, huevas (roe), and distinctly Sevillano boquerones en adobo (anchovies marinated in vinegar). Pair the assortment with a local beer like Cruzcampo, then find a table or meander over to the Jardines de Murillo for a quiet picnic." - Megan Lloyd

Fantastic fried food. We took som shrimps and some anchovies and they was so goood. We were lucky to find a free table. The place was suggested by our sevillan host as he said that they are very traditional.

One of my favorite places to visit in Seville. It's a typical and traditional freiduría in the city center. You order inside, you get your fried goodies in a paper cone and you sit outside to enjoy it. They have collaboration with the restaurant next to them and the waiters come to take your drink order. I would recommend to drink a tinto de verano!

This place served fried chicken wings, fried seafood wrapped in paper. Buy inside and sitting is on the sidewalk. Don’t sell any drinks. You’ll have to order it from the bar beside it.

Freiduria Puerta de la Carne is a simple local spot. Not overly pretentious this restaurant reasonably priced drinks, appetizers and dinner options. It’s a nice spot for fresh sliced Spanish jamón. For a dressed down bite out I’d recommend this corner restaurant for food, or to wet your beak.

Freidura & Cervesa, best combo ever in this spot

Mixed fried fish was good, the place is located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, makes you feel like you are experiencing the real local eating. I would still say that the price is expensive for the quantity/quality. (7.5€ for 1/5kg mixed fish)

A nice place in a sunny corner. Get the cazón al adobo, marinated shark. Skip the shrimp, they do not clean it properly. It's important to get whatever is coming out of the frying pan, when eating fried stuff the fresher the better.

Here you can find many types of fish fried. The flavours were fine. However, it was difficult to find a table and the person working was not helpful.

Yelp
This place is conveniently located along a busy street with many other restaurants and bars. Pros: It's clean, the menu is easy for non Spanish speakers, and very efficient. We got the mixto (combination of fried prawns, fish, sardines, anchovies, and chicken) which is perfect if you want a sample of everything they have to offer. Cons: For 7 euros, the full portion was tapas sized. We felt robbed. However, we expected it especially since we were in the tourist section of the city. The waitress was a little rude also, but rude waitstaff in an ever-growing tourist city isn't a rarity. Overall, it's a good place to start but there are better and cheaper places to eat in Seville. We won't be going back.

Yelp
Offers a variety of fried seafood and croquettes. A great stop while roaming the allies of Barrio de The fried prawns were large, crispy bites. Drizzle with lemon and you're good to go!

Yelp
If I could write a two-word review then it would be "aubergine fries". But this place deserves more than that, especially the tomato salad, which is drizzled in oil and vinegar, sprinkled with herbs and (a touch too much) sea salt. There is also fish, and the cod we are had a lovely flavour. The terrace is on a reasonably quiet street and was shaded when we arrived in the early afternoon. Get someone to bag a table while someone else queues up for food. A waiter will come around to your table to take your drinks order. The price for our meal was good (€10 for 1/4 kg cod, 1/4 kg aubergine fries and tomato salad - plenty for 2 people), but there is fresher-fried fish to be had and therefore this place loses a star.
