Fremont Brewing Company Columbia City Urban Beer Garden

Went last night. Cozy Culinary, Chef Reed's food stand, was there with his new array of tartines. It's bright and clean with a nice selection on tap, including two ciders. As it is billed as family friendly, the people complaining about the smalls upping the energy can pound sand. There are easily a dozen other places to drink within a half mile radius. Go to one of those. Both times I've visited the place has been cheerful, clean, and bright. The 'tenders are friendly, and there's free snacks including handfruit. I'll be back.

Can't recommend enough - good beer, cheaper drafts than almost any other local place, they sell 12 packs discounted vs supermarkets, free pretzels+apples, staff super friendly and a welcoming, great space for kids, dogs and adults who don't hate welcoming and great spaces for kids and dogs. Note: if you go and take the corner chair by the chalk-stairs in the front you will be surrounded by children because that is where they congregate to play, especially if you have to elbow your way through children to get to that chair. Maybe not the best place to seek some quiet solo reading time...

Grateful for family-and-dog-friendly breweries like this, especially in a neighborhood with so many families and dogs! Plenty of space, good lighting, chill vibes, and great staff. As a former Capitol Hill nightlife-er who has spent much of my adulthood in bars and restaurants, the transition to parenthood is made easier with third places like this, where my ability to get out and connect with friends isn't limited by their or my kids. If you're looking for a child-free experience, you might consider one of the other 98% of bars in Seattle that don't welcome families.

Great beer - great space. Kids are ruining the vibe. I understand families want a place they can enjoy a beverage with their kids but there were 6 kids running around while we were there, babies crying, kids climbing on the stadium seating. This is a bar, not a playground. It would be great if management could help control this so other patrons can enjoy the brewery.

Been here a few times over a couple weeks. Good brews and good service from all the servers I experienced so far. I recommend the Hustle IPA ….. and Good god today my server was fire. 🔥🔥🔥 skinny, nose ring, friendly, gentle voice, Jesus. Gimmie that please.

Great beer in a great neighborhood! A lot of space reminiscent of the Fremont location, and all the delicious beers you expect from this classic Seattle brand.

Very spacious and welcoming brewery with great nonalcoholic options too! There are free pretzels, apples, and games to play. Super clean gender neutral bathrooms. Brady was friendly and helpful! A wonderful neighborhood spot :)

Location and space are both great, as well as the beer. Unfortunately the seating situation is pretty bogus right now - they have huge tables and a couch area for large groups, but other than that it's all 2-top barrel seating with uncomfortable stools. They have a lot of open/unused space, so hopefully they add more tables for more smaller groups - if they do this place will be great.
