Whenever we’re in Seattle, Fresh Flours is always our go-to café—and for all the right reasons. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with the aroma of freshly baked pastries paired with expertly crafted espresso and non-espresso drinks. Everything tastes intentional and well thought out, which is why it has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the city.
My personal favorite is the café latte with lavender—smooth, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. It pairs beautifully with just about any of their pastries, whether it’s a classic pain au chocolat, a buttery biscuit, or something seasonal from their rotating menu. The pastry selection alone is worth the visit!
The staff here are always professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks they serve—it’s clear they take pride in what they do. Seating options are also convenient: you can choose to relax inside or, on a beautiful day, enjoy the fresh air at their outdoor tables.
The café is PWD- and toddler-friendly, making it a great option for families. Parking is free along the street, though it can be a bit tricky to find a spot right in front; sometimes you may need to park 2–3 blocks away. But honestly, the short walk is well worth it once you sit down with your coffee and pastry in hand.
Overall, Fresh Flours offers something refreshingly different from your usual Starbucks run. To my fellow Google Local Guides—if you’re looking for a café with great character, excellent service, and outstanding flavors, this is a must-visit in Seattle.
