A longstanding Eastside favorite for made-to-order plates and fresh clay-oven taftoon. The Review-Journal profiled its halal commitment; regulars come for generous kabob combos and Persian breads baked as you watch.

Food was really good. Very reasonable prices. I've never had kabobs like this before so it was a great first time trying it. Very easy to order and they have options for anyone that goes with that doesn't like this style of food, like chicken tenders, burger, and wings. Very good food, only reason I gave 4 stars on the atmosphere was the hair that was all over the booth where we sat down at. Other than that everything was delicious.

Google
It's your typical Kabob restaurant but using a different set of spices and flavors. It's definitely worth trying when you're avoiding the typical fast food options while traveling. My kids still preferred eating at the Golden Arches, but my wife and I enjoyed the meals. I had the beef Kabob, and she had the falafels.

Google
Not the worst I've had, but we were hungry so it was good enough. They said the soda machines were down . But they have other drinks you can buy.

Alhumdulillah very flavorful kabobs and good fresh bread made in house. However I felt like the meat portion was little. You had whole lot of rice and bread with very little meat. I would say either downsize the rice or increase meat. This place should be 4.7 or higher. I feel like you can always just eat extra meat by its self but not rice. Or it could be just me.

If you’re craving authentic Mediterranean flavors, Fresh Kabob/Kabob Oasis is a must-visit! The kabobs are absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender with a burst of flavor in every bite. The Tenderloin Lamb and Chicken Shish Kabab were standout dishes, paired beautifully with their fluffy rice and fresh naan. The wraps, especially the Gyro and Chicken Kubideh, were packed with flavor and the perfect on-the-go meal. However, the seating arrangement could use some improvement. A bit more attention to decor and ambiance would elevate the dining experience. Despite that, the food quality makes it worth visiting. Highly recommend for all kabob lovers!

Google
I am extremely disappointed with Fresh Kabob. The inside of the restaurant was shockingly dirty — the floors and tables looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the whole place felt unhygienic. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and clearly not interested in serving customers properly. Yes, the kebab itself was decent, but the rice was so dry it was almost impossible to eat. This was very upsetting because when I came here last year, the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The quality and standards have dropped dramatically since then. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they make serious changes. Very disappointing experience.

On June 19, 2025, around 4:50 PM, I went to Fresh Kabob/Kabob Oasis. I placed a to-go order and paid at the register. After the cashier, Rameen, handed me the receipt, he immediately said, "Your payment didn’t go through—insert your card again." Confused, I replied that the transaction was completed—I saw it on the credit card machine, and it even printed a receipt. Yet he kept insisting, "No, no, you didn’t pay." I repeatedly told him I didn’t want to pay again for the same order. I even opened my online banking to show him the pending charge, but he still tried to take money from my card again. I showed him my receipt and said, "You’re clearly trying to scam me—cancel my order and issue a refund." Without even blushing, he kept lying, insisting I hadn’t paid. I asked, "Then what’s this receipt? My bank shows the transaction!" I demanded to speak to the manager, but he claimed no one else was available. After insisting, another employee came over, but they didn’t seem to care despite my explanation. This cashier is a complete fraud and liar. I told him directly that what he was doing was wrong. Of course, my bank processed the payment, and since I never received any service, I filed a dispute. If you visit this restaurant and pay by card, be very careful. This cashier will scam you. This business is trying to profit unjustly by charging for services they never provided. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

Google
One of the worst lamb and beef kebabs we’ve ever tried The meat was extremely tough – it was almost impossible to cut through, let alone chew. The flavor was very unpleasant, with an overwhelming fatty and raw meat smell that completely ruined the experience. Some parts of the kebab were even pink in the middle, clearly undercooked. Portion size was small for the price we paid, and overall, it just didn’t feel worth it at all. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I really hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving the quality of their food.

Yelp
The food is scrumptious tastes like a home cooked. Generous portions made with love & fresh simple ingredients. It's my new favorite. Thank you Fresh Kabob & Happy 4th of July May the force be with you .

Yelp
I've been here before when it was a different owner. The name changed. I was in the area and wanted a quick healthy meal but opted to order a cheese steak sandwich. I ordered and waited a bit. To me it took long but I didn't count the minutes. It was over 20 minutes though. And granted there were about 6 plates that were before me. For some reason, when I got in my car to take a bite of my sandwhich it was smashed. I don't personally like that. The sandwhich was good but I don't think they should smash it the way they did. Horrible!!! Just Horrible!

Yelp
This place is family owned and the service is excellent. The food, including the bread is all made in-house. It's a very casual place to eat and has the hole-in-the-wall feel. The gyro meat is very tender and juicy and very well seasoned. It's what food used to be before it was commercially produced and processed.

Camilia D.

Yelp
Always taste great good customer service. Everyone so nice poliet. My roommate got the special place I got the ground beef added extra skewer of chicken simple delicious perfect amount of dressing light but a perfect combination to the kabob dip is ao good.

Janine W.

Yelp
While the food was good and the portions were great, the restaurant really needs a deep cleaning. Also the cans and other things stacked by the bathrooms make the place look untidy. They should also invest in new furniture. The furniture was very, very used. If I ever get food from there again it will only be takeout.

A S.

Yelp
The cook was very unprofessional. The preparation of the food was visually unappealing. The meat (koobideh kabob) was broken in pieces, many pieces and was still presented to me. I asked to make a new plate and once completed and presented to me, I told him that's how it's supposed to be. In return he gave me the finger. Yoh! Okay. I guess being knowledgeable these days comes at a price.

Yelp
This place serves some of the best Halal food I've had. It's my fourth time visiting, and their Afghan kabob with rice and Afghan naan is absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly, and the customer service is excellent.
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
We went to lunch at Fresh Kabob. The food was good. You basically order at the counter and when the food is ready they call your number. As far as ambience nothing special. I recommend Fresh Kabob as a good lunch spot. Would never go to dinner at this restaurant.
google avatar

Barbi O.

Yelp
The chicken turned out dry and was smaller serving than I thought. However, the lamb gyro was good.

Yelp
Food was Super Fresh n Amazing! I thought it was closer to my house when I ordered delivery but it's 20mins by freeway but Oh WOW even after a uber driver picked it up got stuck in traffic the food was like it was served fresh to our table. We WILL BE BACK AGAIN!! Loved every bite.

Den S.

Yelp
There kubedih meat is so dry it like eating leather been there twice First was a little burn the second too dry and over cook very disappointing.
google avatar

Christine F.

Yelp
The customer service is always fast and friendly. Their Kubideh is tasty and the orange sauce is bomb!!
google avatar

Travis M.

Yelp
I was ignored by the staff who seemed very hateful towards me when I stood there reading the menu.
google avatar

Matt K.

Yelp
Actually quite good and low prices too. Have been here twice now and had both the chicken breast plate #2 and the chicken breast sandwich wrap #9. Fast service.
google avatar

Donald M.

Yelp
I'm not one who usually would give a one star but it is so fitting for this place. The food was awful, from bread to the dry rice. Meat seemed to be re heated and dry as heck. The humus was hard and dry. Worst pita ever.
google avatar

Kenia R.

Yelp
First and last time here service and food was awful rice was hard like super old meat was still a lil raw when we perfectly told them well done plz and to top it off we got there at 9 an hr before they close they were already telling us constantly we close at 10 multiple times like I get it and wish I could eat and rush it but I had my toddler eating aswell i can't make her fast so i grabbed my food threw it away and left very disappointed

M A.

Yelp
After accepting order and making me wait for 50 mins, they cancelled the order, totally Non professional attitude and so far didn't get my refund as order was through Yelp
google avatar

Aamer S.

Yelp
They never let me down! For the price, hell of a value. Easy cafeteria style experience. No fountain drinks but hey, support the smaller guys or there won't be any! Compared to other kabob place in town, I wouldn't even think of going back to those other places, service is always fast, usually food comes out within 15 minutes, I'd take pix but there isn't any food left lol
google avatar

Loreal G.

Yelp
Every. Single. Time. This place is great. It's been consistently wonderful for the 6 years I've been coming. The chicken kabob here is unmatched. I've yet to have a more flavorful, juicy, kabob. I'm glad I came back thanks to a delayed flight. This place continues to restore my faith in humanity.

Yelp
I ordered food off of the website. The Gyro salad was the worst I've ever ate there, or anywhere for that point!! I thought since I've been going there for years i would have no problem taking my order back that I went there and bought 30 minutes prior. I was wrong! They told me it was a Door Dash problem!! I didn't order through Door Dash or why would I go pick it up??!!! The salad part was old, above room temperature!, welted! BARFF!! The meat tasted a week or older!! Dried out, salty, and cold!! After the service they gave me NOT!! I'll never return there again!! It was that bad!! When they tell me it's my problem with a smile I now know why this place is empty more than half the time I've gone there to pick up our food!! I don't know if it's new owners, managers or what? But this experience was horrible they would not refund me, or did they offer to make it right!! So when I decided they can clean this garbage up with the rest of the garbage on their floor. That's where my Gyro Salad ended up!! All over their filthy floor! LOL! I post more good reviews than bad by a long shot! But after this experience I needed to warn people of how bad the service and food was!! YOU BEEN WARNED SAVE YOUR TASTE BUDS AND MONEY!!

Yelp
I stopped by here when I go to the post office they have a great kebab and the stuff is fantastic. My cooking in the kitchen highly recommend.
google avatar

Pway M.

Yelp
Food service was okay , quality is okay and ambiance is great. The price of food and portion is kinda stingy and they don't want to give more than you paid for. If you're in the mood for Middle East food this is for you. Also they charge you for white sauce also shaking my head this make no sense at all. After you spend like 40+ you expect the sauce to come with it and free of charge !
google avatar

Yelp
Great kabobs. The #2 with chicken is amazing. Fresh made flat bread, rice, side salad and a chicken Kabob for under twenty. You can't beat it. The food is cooked to order served fresh. Great and friendly staff. This place is a hidden gem.
google avatar

Crystal V.

Yelp
Came in for early lunch and was pleasantly surprised, coming in the place itself is small but they have a good amount of seating options. It was very well lit and clean , we were greeted right away and we both ordered the #1 with lamb which was a pita the meat and rice and a little salad .The meat was flavorful the edges a bit crunchy im guessing from the flame but the rest was soft and juicy they gave us there kabob sauce which almost tasted like thousand island it was good but also plain was good. We ended up ordering there ice cream for dessert which was a rose water ,pistachio and saffron and that was delicious probably my favorite of the meal. Friendly and fast workers thank you for a lovely first visit.

Yelp
Fresh kabob has some of my favorite kubideh in town especially their mix & match special for a great price. They let you chose between beef, chicken and/or lamb. I usually go with a chicken and a lamb kubideh coupled with the large portion of rice and bread with salad and grilled whole tomato. The portions are plentiful and typically one combo is enough for two meals during the day. The restaurant is very clean and has an open kitchen so you know the food is fresh! Staff is very friendly and food prep is pretty quick since kabobs take a while to cook. Definitely recommend Fresh Kabob to anyone near Sunset and Eastern area!

Yelp
Wveeything went all ans imma go back again and get another place. Dont mines me , hungry hungry hungry

Jennifer M.

Yelp
I was looking for someone who was at another restaurant and I could not find him and I was hungry. As I passed Fresh Kabob, I was kind of missing gyros. I came in and grabbed a bottle of water and placed my order. I sat down on a sofa and thought, "This feels like the Goodness Land in Boise." Fresh Kabob made me feel like I was back at home. My order was on a regular plate with silverware. The servings here are very generous. I thought it was really good. It tasted just like Arabic cooking, which I love. The servings were so generous, I had to get a to go box. I had a very nice experience and would love to return and try more food from the menu.

Yelp
I went here with my family like I have many times. As I took a fork full of food and started chewing I felt my tooth crack. I immediately spit out the food and saw a screw. I spoke to the "manager" at the time who gave me a phone number for their insurance only to find out it was a bogus number. I've tried calling several time but the manger is never there. A woman answered once and was rude and hung up on me. I called back and a man told me that there were five woman there so he didn't know which one answered the phone. They play games and unfortunately they don't realize how badly affected this was on me. Please avoid this place for your safety.

Paul W.

Yelp
Their food is extremely fresh. Very good. I highly recommend. You also have a nice view of the city, and of course you can watch the planes as they land takeoff.
google avatar

Donald C.

Yelp
Located on E. Sunset Road parallel to the east/west runways of McCarran Airport, this place has VERY GOOD kabobs. There's not much atmosphere to speak of, but I go for the food. I imagine that they can be very busy with takeout orders at times with the airport near by. In today's day-and-age this is a tough act to beat.
google avatar

Camille S.

Yelp
I used to frequent this place back when it was called Flame Kabob. The food quality as well as the management have declined significantly. Before when you would order a kabob they would cut up the meat and grill it right in front of you. Now the meat is clearly reheated because it was so dry. I used to love ordering the babaganoosh and taftoon bread, but I ended up tossing the whole thing out. The old recipe for their babaganoosh had a lighter color and tasted fresh. What we were given was brown mush with no flavor and chunks of seeds and stem bits from the eggplant. We used to order extra taftoon bread to take home, but we tossed an enormous amount away since it also tasted bland and reheated. Cleanliness also took a drive too. When we went a few years back the place had a decent amount of people in the place all the time. This time around it was just me and my husband. We tried to give them one more chance during our visit and ordered ice cream for dessert separately from our first order. The service there was horrendous. The cashier was on his phone for a decent amount of time while my husband waited at the place to order, he didn't even come to him until one of the cooks in the back alerted him to tend to him. And the cherry on top of this whole thing was that the ice cream we got had freezer burn. They advertised that they ran out of certain flavors of ice cream and only had pistachio, as we wanted to try the rose water and saffron, but it whatever they gave us kind of tasted like they mixed all three flavors without realizing it. It used to be a nice little date place as you watch the planes land, but after today. I don't think we will come back Going to try to finish the ice cream out of spite.

The Yelp Bae ..

Yelp
The Salmon lunch is delicious. You should try it! P.S. Don't forget to ask for the garlic sauce on the side.

Yelp
Walking in, it's cluttered. Too many tables in the dining area. Wasn't the warmest greeting but staff was nice. Food was ok. I've eaten here before and am using my previous experience as reference. Chicken wasn't as good, it was ok but more tough pieces than I would have liked. The side salad (shirazi) was ok but overwhelmed with green leafy piece's and not a lot of flavor. Could have used some more lemon I suppose. Presentation was nice. May come back again in a few months to see if it improves, the family who first opened it was very friendly and the food was deliciously authentic.

Yelp
It's shocking to me that I haven't gotten around to writing a review for this place yet, considering that this is one of my favorite go-to places for Mediterranean and Persian cuisine in Las Vegas! Located on Sunset Road by McCarran Airport, Fresh Kabob has consistently been one of my favorite places to go for the namesake kabobs, but they have a lot of delicious items on their menu that I always get whenever I come here. Because of the ongoing pandemic, I usually take all of my food to-go, but during the times where I sat in at the restaurant, I'd always get a table by the windows so I could watch the airplanes take off at the airport. It's one of the best places for me to go to relax after work and have a great dinner. Whenever I come here, I almost always get the kubideh and kabob plates -- I prefer beef and lamb for both, but all of the selections that they have is delicious. For me, the perfect plate is their mix and match special, where you can get two kubideh meat skewers, a large serving of basmati rice, a grilled tomato, and a salad for a low price. By itself it's a meal, but if I feel particularly hungry I spring for a third kubideh kabob and have one of each -- chicken, lamb and beef. It's really one of the most delectable plates of food I've had anywhere, and I've had plenty as you can seei n my reviews! Along with their kubidehs and kabobs, Fresh Kabob also has plenty of other items on their menu which is also just as good -- I always have to get their lentil soup whenever I come here, which is one of the most flavorful soups I've had anywhere. Other standouts include their dolmas, their hummus, the mast-o-musir yogurt dip, and their fresh bread -- I could easily demolish two or three pieces of that bread, easily. Make sure to save room for dessert, too! They offer typical desserts like baklava and rosewater / pistachio ice cream, but they also have items like tiramisu and chocolate cake that are just as good. Needless to say, their food and their prompt service is the main reason why I keep coming back here -- and especially during the ongoing pandemic, when everyone needs as much support as they can during these trying times. If you're in the area, please check out Fresh Kabob. It may look unassuming at first glance, for sure, but you'll be surprised in a good way at how delicious everything is!
google avatar

Yelp
I remember coming here a few years back and getting a full gyro platter. Now it's nearly $17 for a half wrap with a little meat french fries and soda. Also wasn't greeted right away either. Think that was my last time coming here
google avatar

Glenda J.

Yelp
I was near here looking at the planes across the street. Because I love lamb, and they were conveniently located , I decided to try them out. The service was quick. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The cashier was friendly and she also served the food as well. I ordered Kabob & Hummus Bowl ( my protein of choice: lamb) Unfortunately, the food had absolutely no flavor ( and no, I don't have covid) it was very bland, the rice was under cooked and I don't know what type of meat that was, but it wasn't lamb. I eat lamb at least once a week, and that unfortunately wasn't lamb. However the hummus was amazing, and the spicy sauce was good too. They also have roasted jalapeno. I know sometimes they're ' off days' so maybe this was their 'off day's and my luck! I believe in giving people second chances, so I'll give them another chance in the future!

Eric W.

Yelp
So, Fresh Kabob is a humble place. It is not fancy. They call your order number cafeteria-style, you get your own utensils from a bin, and you bus your own tray at the trash can. It's exactly like Roberto's, but Mideastern. And that's fine, if you want that sort of atmosphere. Not pretentious, just basic eats. But, speaking of eats, although the kebabs are good, there's a lot of carbs on your plate, and they're pretty dry. You get a generous heap of dry rice, and a big hunk of dry "authentic Persian bread." There's a little plastic cup of mildly spicy sauce, which is good, and similar to the "lava sauce" at the now departed Margaritaville in the Flamingo. So I thought I'd get myself an extra cup of that stuff, because that would be just the thing to liven up the dry rice and the dry authentic bread. Well, it's 50 cents extra for that. Believe me, I can afford 50 cents, but I opted out. I wanted to experience the dinner offering as presented by the chef, especially since this review was already taking shape in my head. And the result was, well, pretty dry. You get to watch the airport jet traffic, since this place is right on Sunset, and you sure won't feel overdressed or outclassed. It's a nice enough Mideastern Roberto's. But for the same price, you can go to a lot of other places that have servers and potted plants. And more sauce.

Liz T.

Yelp
Beware! Very unhygienic The chef today touched everything with his gloves from the food to the appliances to the doors and the containers and back in to the food. If you like to eat here i suggest going inside and watch how they make your food. We will not be back
google avatar

Camillia D.

Yelp
Great customer service kid on the register. Felt kool owner had air on. Alot of seating. They got big screen in the main area. Tried the chicken kabob plate n ice cream. PLUS it's Halal
google avatar

Christie N.

Yelp
Food is delicious and the bread was made fresh right in front of us. We stopped here for lunch, as it was close to the work site, and a healthy alternative to fast food. We were very pleased and would eat here again. The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. The rice, bread and vegetables were cooked perfectly. They made our food to order and we're quick about it. Everyone who worked there were very friendly and made us feel like they were glad to see us.

Simone A.

Yelp
I got the special for 16.99$ and got lamb and beef, it was surprisingly really good even though i was hesitant after the reviews. It was a little hot but not too bad, the view of the airport was nice while eating the kabobs, the workers were friendly and i was greeted by someone as soon as I walked in, the cashier was nice but seemed a little young. I'm not sure why this place gets so much hate, but I will be coming back :)

Linda S.

Yelp
Their food is fresh and delicious. Love it ! The spices they used really accent the food . I have never had rice that I could eat all by itself.
google avatar

Erika N.

Yelp
I recently stopped by Fresh Kabob for lunch while in the area for a seminar. The location is right across from the airport and on the bottom level underneath a hookah lounge. The interior could definitely use some updating, the chairs & tables weren't in the greatest condition. I would have preferred to take my order to go, but since I didn't have the option I ate inside. The cashier who helped me also was not super friendly. If it hadn't been for the food being as good as it was I'd honestly give this place a 2/5. Now to the food part, I ordered the Shredded Chicken combo. It came with salad, hummus, the pita sandwich and a stuffed grape leaf. I loved the flavor of the chicken and it was very juicy. The tzatziki sauce was also super good. I ended up putting that on basically everything. The only thing I didn't care for as much was the hummus. It could have used a bit more spice. Overall I'd probably come back again, but get the order to go next time.
google avatar

Leticia P.

Yelp
They have multiple choices for your main course - beef, chicken, lamb or shrimp skewers. Grounded or cubes. They also have chicken wings, sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers such as hummus and I love their mast o khiar Just added Fresh coconut water.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME! Just look at my veggie and chicken kabob combo. Had half for dinner and the other half for lunch. I cannot put to words how tasty and perfectly grilled the chicken. Just delightful and the grilled veggies, did I taste butter? Very tasty and hearty. Okay, it was not good that when I arrived, the Golden Knights were up 3-0 and when I left it was 3-3 in about 7 minutes the Sharks caught us in a 5 minute power play and capitalized. I also got a huge side of the mixed veggies, seriously huge freshly made, hot out of the oven, pita bread, rice and salad with a chunk of lemon wedge to add acid to my food. Very happy and satisfied with this place. The people are very friendly and helpful. Love this spot! Huge portions so if you're hungry and want fresh food it's about a quarter mile east of the post office. Support your local small businesses!

Yelp
I'm giving this restaurant a 2 because of the unpleasant experience eating their food in the restaurant. VEGAS IS HOT.... YOU NEED TO PUT ON THE AC for customers to be COMFORTABLE WHILE THEY EAT YOUR FOOD.
google avatar

Trinity-Jae L.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and the presentation of the food was amazing. It was pretty decent inside regards to the temperature.... But it felt like the ac was not on. I came here to eat with my partner and we both got the mix and match plates. We were on the way home and all of a sudden, both of our stomachs start hurting. We made it home and had such a bad stomach ache. I have a feeling the meats were not cooked or maintained in a proper temperature setting. I will not be coming back.
google avatar

Victoria N.

Yelp
Food was fine but I don't like that they don't let you pick sides with the kabobs. They also don't honor the prices on the online menu and the specials only apply to ground meat, not tenderloin.

Yelp
What a great little spot for Mediterranean food, hidden away a little. This is almost like a regular spot for me to stop and get food at least once or twice a month. All the food is authentic, being made fresh to order and the taste is great. It is always clean and the cooking of food smell is always in the air just makes you want to get food as fast as possible :) The staff is always smiling and makes you feel welcome, they will take a moment to explain to you the menu if you have any questions and always have great recommendations for you. I suggest to order in advance if possible during lunch rush as it gets busy here and you might have to wait a little. Remember they cook everything fresh on the spot - so expect about 10-15 min for your food to be ready from the moment you put the order in. Come hungry - portions are big !
