Fresh Love

Fresh Love was such an amazing experience that we went 2 mornings in a row. We had sandwiches, smoothies and espressos, and WOW, they were so fresh, healthy and delicious! We were heading to the Mount Hood area for hikes, so those meals really nourished us for a day of activity. I appreciate USDA Organic food, and Fresh Love is all about the health labels. The staff was also super friendly. Overall, we would go back to Fresh Love every morning if we could!

My wife and I both loved the various smoothies and coffee we ordered! The smoothie consistency was perfect! Not icey but just a smooth frozen texture! Anytime I’m in town I will always stop by here! Planning to go back again tomorrow morning before we leave. Looking forward to trying more of their menu items! Excellent service! Very cozy atmosphere and the area was clean and safe!

Was on my way to pdx when I saw that my flight was delayed. I saw the reviews of this place and thought I’d give it a try.. The employees were friendly and the food is phenomenal. I had the veggie breakfast sandwich and all of the details made it the best sandwich I’ve had in a while. The ingredients were clearly very fresh and the chef clearly loves their craft. (No pun on their name intended). Even though this place isn’t exactly in my neighborhood, I’ll be back—next time with my whole family! Thanks for a great airport diversion and a great meal🙏

This is the best neighborhood cafe in Portland. Smoothies. Juices. Coffee. Kombucha. Sandwiches. And local groceries with fruit, bread, eggs, milk and such. I love this place. Try the Schuyler The Limit Smoothie or Spicy Sandy Juice and grab some ona dairy free yogurt to go. It’s delicious.

In town for 2 days and found this place by accident, on our way to another spot for coffee. So glad we did, coffee and pastries so good , back at the car found them on Too good to go and had to place an order and omg, we loved everything in the bag. Friendly staff.

morning fresh pressed juice "Spicy Sandy" ginger 🫚 lemon 🍋 and cayenne shots were fantastic. But, the Spicy sandy was also great. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Very excellent place to just chill and have a great meal. Food, service, and cleanliness come to mind. They also have a few wonderful market type produce. I highly recommend the Hot Pastrami Sandwich. Very delicious! Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

Cutest neighborhood place! The cold pastrami sandwich is incredible with the coleslaw! My son was obsessed with the egg on toast! Can’t wait to go there again and try more! Great service, fresh ingredients and delicious!

Went in for breakfast on a Saturday around 10 am. No line at all, and we had breakfast sandwiches in around 10 minutes. Lots of little snacks to buy inside the shop if you're not there for a meal or a coffee. Had the garden egg sandwich, which was solid and a lavender rose honey mamas chocolate bar. Plenty of bike parking outside, within view of the inside or outside seating area. Nice covered deck outside as well.

Very cute eatery and juice bar, offering healthy sandwiches, beverages and more. The cully kicker fresh pressed juice was good, a bit of spice from the ginger, some sweetness from the apple, overall a nice balance of flavors. The roseway punch smoothie was more on the sweet side with a simple fruit combination, it was yummy! Service was friendly, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating, with colorful decor and just a chill atmosphere overall. This place certainly lives up to its name.

Schuyler's the Limit was the best smoothie I've ever had hands down. I could've drank two of them. The turkey sandwich with black olive mayo was also amazing as well. Great, friendly people working also. I cannot wait to go back again.

My first time visiting Portlandia!!! My airbnb person recommended this spot to hang while my place got ready. It's so super cute!!! The kindest and friendly greetings here.positive vibes and energy! My nephew lives here so I had him drop me off. He had a breakfast sandwich, pastrami and havarti sandwich and a green smoothie. I had a matcha tea and it was delicious! The service was top notch. I love supporting local businesses! I ended up staying for lunch and had this amazing yummy soup too! Ginger carrot soup omg!

This place is so great! A cute coffee shop with smoothies and sandwiches and lots of fresh groceries. Inside and outside seating and I highly recommend the ginger spiced chai!

I love this place! I visit Portland a few times a year and this is always on my must visit list! wonderful people, mouth watering sandwiches, fresh juices, great pastry selections and so much more. Oh they have phenomenal pottery mugs for sale too. It's now my favorite mug at home and always puts a smile on my face. Try this place! I've never had anything I didn't like. Very fresh!

I went to one of my favorite View spots of the city. Rocky Butte. While I was up there enjoying the scenery, I looked at Yelp for someplace nearby to eat. Fresh came up with a close by location and good yelps. So glad I went in! It's a Fremont old-school Portland area. This little shop is bright and decorated in lively local artist paintings. It's also a small grocer. Has some imported items and some fresh produce as well. They have lots of excellent drinks that are chilled. Now let's talk about the menu. It is very small. Each item is beautifully made, and locally sourced. I chose the hot pastrami sandwich. I cannot relate how delicious the sandwich was. You need to go get one yourself. The pastrami was lean, thinly sliced and delicious! Havarti cheese, beautiful. They used a special from a company called blue bus. It was so crunchy and delicious. I would like to eat that on its own :-) The bread was perfectly toasted and was a delicious marble rye. I had a cappuccino that was outstanding. I will definitely be returning to this sweet spot. I want to try some other sandwiches. They also had some great looking treats. I purchased some in imported papadelle noodles, from Italy. How fun to pick up some great noodles and have a fabulous sandwich! They have a several excellent looking fresh juices. Would love to try one of those next time .The service was outstanding. So friendly and welcoming. I appreciated that they took the time to help me decide exactly what I wanted. Definitely will be back with some friends:)

OMG, this is such a neighborhood gem and gift to Portland! This friendly little shop makes tasty and unique smoothies, sandwiches and treats with a healthy, locally sourced vibe. They also carry a host of convenience items that are super-local! It's like the convenience of Plaid Pantry, but healthier like New Seasons, but better prices and masterfully curated. It reminds me of the local corner stores growing up back east. Staff are friendly, food is consistently good, they have excellent indoor/outdoor seating options and they event have a loyalty program. We are so fortunate to have them in our neighborhood and we plan to support them. Highly recommend, do check them out!

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The sandwiches are really fresh and delicious, and the drinks are SO GOOD. The place has a lot of personality and and is a fun spot to hang out while grabbing a bite.

Such a wonderful spot! I liked Fresh Love so much that I stopped in three times in three days when visiting PDX. Excellent coffee and baked goods. Smoothie and juice menu looks fantastic although I didn't get a chance to check any of them out. I tried the: Turkey sandwich-Fantastic The Pastrami-Solid Toast with peanut butter and jelly-The BEST A wonderful vibe, so comfortable with outdoor and indoor seating on a quiet corner. YES!!

The sandwiches were tasty. The service at the counter was not the best. Not sure what was going on with the customer ahead of me? But once it was my turn the cashier greeted a customer she obviously knew, and had never greeted me. I had to speak up to say I had an order for pick up! Anyway the food was good but not exceptional! I'll stick to making my own sandwiches.

Once again this place is an absolute gem!! I didn't think I could finish a whole sandwich as they are MASSIVE. But I ate the whole thing! It was scrumptious and you will crave these fresh sandwiches all year around! They support local artists, local businesses, and I know I've already mentioned this but they live up to actually having fresh food!! You can see the care they take in making these sandwiches! Not a single sprout on my delicious sandwich had a brown, unwashed spot on it!!! I cannot tell you how many restaurants seem to forget this important piece. Every veggie on a Fresh Love sandwich is photo worthy!!!! Come in and try one for yourself!!!

Fresh Love makes our neighborhood proud. We're very lucky to have this produce-forward little cafe here. Much respect to the owners for their unique, warmhearted approach to business. Most of my Fresh Love orders are some variation on coffee, but they've got lots of tasty stuff here. I recommend the veggie sandwich, chocolate babka, avocado toast, Eugene smoothie, and ginger lemonade. Yum!

I stopped by this cute neighborhood shop and tried one of their gf sandwiches. It looked too good to be true - the bread was beautiful! I was disappointed to discover it was thick and dry like all other gf breads. I'd still like to go back and try their smoothies, coffee or pastries.

This place is a gem. The Golden Milk is the best I've ever had. Barista has mad skillz for caffeinated beverages, too. The hot pastrami is outstanding. Our kids love everything on the menu. Love being able to pick up locally grown, organic grocery items. Staff is engaging & sweet.

New fave spot for green juice and wanna come back to try more foods! Stopped in to grab a 2g2g and decided to order some extras. The veggie sammy was as delish as it looked w a big ol' pickle that lasted whole meal. Now that's what I'm talking bout! The chocolate cookie caught my eye so ya know I had to get it and was not disappointed. Not pictured because they have already been devoured are Cully green juice, almond cherry balls and minestrone soup. The soup tho...best minestrone I've had in awhile. I would order all these again. The menu is short and sweet which makes me think they must do those items well since my first meal there is a hit in my books. There's also lil bit of produce and snacks for purchase along w smoothies. The staff is nice and biz is new as they mentioned opening in June. I wish them lots of success while they churn out wholesome good eats. Oh there's doggo treats by door too!

What a gem of a place. We are visiting our son who lives in the neighborhood and dropped in for some smoothies. Super friendly staff and drinks were healthy and delicious. The breakfast and lunch menu looks great and we will return. Surprised to see they have wine by the glass and a few beers on tap as well as fresh groceries and staples. Ambiance is relaxing and casual. Worth visiting for sure.

This is the cutest little place. We love it so much and go quite often. My favorite items are the Schuyler is the limit smoothie and the Just a turkey sandwich. I also love the homemade items they usually have, like their chocolate chip or oatmeal cookies. I love that ParkRose has a cute little local healthy stop right in town now. It's just a fun/cool vibe and the owners have done a wonderful job in the past year with the place. They also recently added a little market, so you can buy fresh local milk and cheese, along with some other basic food items. This place is just lovely and you won't regret going here... promise!

I sure wish we had a neat spot like this in Eugene. Love the concept! The turkey sandwich was spot on, the coffee was delicious and the vibe was just neat. I'll be back next time I'm in Portland.

I have found a new favorite place in Portland!! Stephanie and the sweet chef made me the most incredible breakfast sandwich. I have severe food allergies, and they took the utmost care in making me a safe, allergen-free meal. They were so incredibly caring and accommodating, and my egg, avocado, tomato, and dairy free cheese sandwich on sourdough was SO DELICIOUS! Thank you, Fresh Love! I am definitely coming back!! The atmosphere is super fun too. Great little neighborhood place!

This was a tea and food shop before Fresh Love took it over. Their food is just great. The sandwiches have fresh vegetables , and they use Dos Hermanos bread! Full line of fresh juice, delicious coffee drinks, small produce selection, and locally made snacks! They pack a lot into a tiny spot!

I can't speak highly enough about Fresh Love: the food! the smoothies & juices! the people! the produce and gifts! But I wanted to share one of my favorite things about this neighborhood cafe--no matter what you order here, it will be the most delicious, highest quality food/drink that you could possibly get. I think I have tried everything on the menu at this point (I called it my Fresh Love Smoothie Tour/Juice Tour/Sandwich Tour, etc) and have been equally thrilled with flavor and quality no matter what I order. What are you waiting for? Give yourself the love and nourishment you deserve and get over there!

Just ate here for the first time. The Avocado toast was very fresh along with all the micro greens on top. The chai tea was some of the best I have ever had. Hubbie got the breakfast pastrami sandwich. I am not a fan of pastrami, but I had a bite, and wow, was it yummy!!!! He enjoyed it as well! Everything in the store was fresh! I wanted to try everything all at once!! We will definitely be back!

A lovely little coffee and juice bar as a really nice addition to the Roseway neighborhood. This place is super-local: their coffee is from Rocky Butte Roasters (1/2 mi away), and because the owner is also the organizer of the Rocky Butte Farmer's Market, they have fresh produce to buy as well as the fruit they put in their smoothies. Right now, since they're still new, the lunch menu only offers two sandwiches and two salads. I'm sure they'll have more later. In the meantime, get the ginger lemonade. It is super-gingery!

Absolutely delicious, fresh food. Everything tastes homemade because it is and the owner and employees are super friendly. I've enjoyed many of their juices, veggie sandwich, and salted chocolate chip cookies.

Stopped in at Fresh Love for breakfast sandwiches and coffee, as well as a baked good called chocolate babka. Oh, and there was a terrific juice containing ginger and turmeric. My breakfast sandwich had pastrami and was positively delicious and my wife got a veggie sandwich--we both loved the brioche buns. Coffee was great and the chocolate babka was new for me and was sort of like a chocolate version of a cinnamon roll but happy to report that it was not overly sweet. Really good food & drinks with very friendly people. The place is an interesting combination of restaurant and corner grocery with a bit of an urban vibe, which is unique in my world. Loved the place and will return in the future.

a wonderful neighborhood cafe and mini market inside, i love the artists work they have in the corner & got one of my favorite coffee mugs from there. today i had the veggie sandwich for the first time and couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the day, so I'm here to share love for this deliciously zesty sandwich. thank you!

Every time my kids and I eat here, we get the veggie sandwich and say, "This is the best sandwich I ever had!" Wonderful atmosphere and selection of fresh produce.

SO grateful to have this darling and fresh spot in the neighborhood. Their juice offerings are terrific, veggie salad was fresh, and the mom & pop service makes this place special. Love that they offer a small fresh produce selection and look forward to watching their menu grow.

This place has the best turkey sandwiches in Portland hands down! Super cute place very artsy and a perfect addition to the neighborhood. I had a beet and orange juice and also a peanut butter honey toast with crushed almonds the first visit both were delicious but the turkey sandwich is what I've returned for multiple times it's my favorite!

The food was really fresh and delicious. The owners were friendly. I had the turkey sandwich on gluten free bread and my fiancee had the veggie sandwich. Both were amazing and made with quality ingredients. We are definitely going back.

Adorable little place tucked away under tall shady trees, perfect for a quick fruit smoothie/juice. They also have sandwiches and fresh produce if you just need a few things. The people are very friendly and patient (I asked a few questions and he was very kind in answering). Its on the way to a lot places I go so I'll stop in again

Super fresh ingredients...i've been there a number of times. I enjoyed the sandwich but have typically swung by for a smoothy...the Eugene fruit smoothy...that's been my goto, it's a great afternoon pick me up!

What a wonderful little restaurant. This is my idea of what Portland needs more of, post-pandemic, to heal our anxious, depressed, world news-weary souls! I lived in NE Portland for thirty five years. Raised my daughter there as a single parent. I have a deep, abiding love for the area, even though I retired to the country. "Fresh Love" is just what the name implies! I watched the owners welcome in neighbors they know and appreciate. One neighboring teen actually brought her own food creation to share with the owners, from her cooking class! Mom and daughter are clearly regulars! The food is a never-miss! Perfectly seasoned, turkey sandwich, lusciously fresh! The "Fremont Smoothie" could not have been more delicious from the flavors to the consistency. My friend enjoyed a delicious pastrami on rye. And Baird Peaches.....all of them perfect! A really neat feature are the assortment of fresh vegetables, fruit, bakery snacks, and fizzy drinks. Oh, and art prints from a local. Affordable, while supportive of local talent. I dare you to stop by for an afternoon pick-me-up, and a welcome feeling like you can only get with friends and family. You will not be sorry you did!

This place is just what you need when you want those old-Portland-mom-and-pop-kid-friendly-take-it-slow-delicious-but-not-snooty-support-local vibes. It's the perfect little neighborhood spot whether you need a splash of fresh juice, shot of espresso, the most amazing "home" baked cookies, or the produce on your grocery list. Plan on visit the next time you want to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee (though you'll probably add more to your order).

I've been anticipating trying this place out since they started renovating it and the wait was definitely worth it! I love that they have a little fruit stand there to buy a few staples (such as lemons and limes) at a decent price, plus they always have at least a couple that you won't find in grocery stores as well. I also got the turkey sandwich while I was there. It was delicious and a great option as a quick bite to eat while I was in-between Zoom meetings for work. It's great having this cafe down the street!
