This place is waaaay to simple not to looove! EBA Pizza with just a few anchovies. Perfect balance of sauce, pizza, toppings, cheese, and spices! I can’t wait to try one of their subs one day because this garlic bread is amazing and out of this world! Pretty sure that’s the same bread they use for the sub. I haven’t tried the cookies yet. I’ll do that on the way out the door. Our server Kelly Was the sweetest ever and the Cook… Well, I could just kiss him! Our food was super good. The other patrons were really nice as well. I would recommend and come back. The spaghetti was al dente cooked perfect but the sauce needed a little more spice or seasonings to me. But I still give this place a five stars because everything is on point and the Michelob Baller was only three dollars a bottle! Regular price so I’m winning all day. Good pizza, good drink… I’m in!

⸻ Subject: Poor Service Experience My family and I visited your restaurant recently. Upon arriving, we went inside and politely asked if we could eat outside. The waitress responded in a rude and condescending manner, as if our question was unreasonable. She walked away without giving us direction, leaving us standing awkwardly. When she returned, she simply said we could “sit anywhere,” as if we should have known that already. I’ve always spoken highly of your brand and have eaten at your Grand Haven location many times, which is why I suggested your restaurant to my family. Unfortunately, this experience left me embarrassed in front of my brother-in-law and disappointed in the service. We ultimately decided to leave without dining. Because of this interaction, I can no longer recommend your restaurant to others, and we will not be returning. I hope you take this feedback seriously so no other guests have a similar experience. ⸻

Google
Not worth the money. Ham and pineapple pizza had barely any ham and pineapple. Really , toppings were sparse on all Ordered 5 different types of pizza and they all tasted bland. Server was great. Tables are too close together. Watched cook use same pair of scissors to cut the pizzas without cleaning them in between. What if someone had an allergy to mushrooms and you just put them at risk for an anaphylactic reaction?

Google
Pizza was delicious, Gluten Free! Tomato Basil, friend had regular crust pepperoni & sausage, I had the Italian sub, very good! Very nice atmosphere and good service. Tuesdays they have classic vehicle night! It's a wonderful time to check out those vehicles, bring the family! And have fun, eat and drinks.

Google
I have driven by a few times and they always seem closed, but I noticed they have a car show every Tuesday. Asked my wife if she wanted to try it out as we don't normally try new things. For starters the "Car show" consisted of a max of 10 cars and the parking lot was still empty which should have been our first red flag. We decided to sit down anyways and my wife got a pizza and a salad and I got a sub. The pizza had zero flavor and was covered in grease, the salad was $9 and had no dressing and the croutons were stale, and the sub was mediocre at best. Our server seemed like she was overwhelmed, but they weren't even busy and took probably 10 minutes to get us water refills. I will say I like the open concept of the kitchen, however seeing a guy on the line drinking beers, plural, while working just didn't seem quite right to me. They claim do have been open for 75 years and I can't believe they made it that long

Google
Been going to this location since I was a little kid and the quality has always been incredibly consistent and the flavor has always remained the same throughout the years. I’ve never had a pizza more unique than you can get at Fricano’s.

Best thin crust pizza! Was a perfect slightly breezy evening to sit outside on the patio! Loved the happy vibes!! Will be back soon!

Yelp
If you're looking for a no frills pizza joint then this is your spot. Mom and pop feel with a basic menu. My husband and I enjoyed the super thin crust pepperoni pizza and salad. Service was prompt and friendly. Beer and wine prices were good. Overall great spot for a casual bite to eat

Yelp
Always a good choice, the menu here is different than the Grand Haven store. We are customers for life.

Yelp
No frills thin crust pizza joint with super friendly staff and a vibe that feels Goodfellas esque. Very cool place.

Yelp
My husband decided to go to this restaurant tonight for dinner, because there was a band and a car show. We'd never been to this place before. It was a great car show...the dinner, not so much. First off, to be fair, the place was very crowded...we were happy to find a clean table. It was clear that is was very understaffed. I think we saw MAYBE 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant, including outside. We got our drinks and the waitress came to take our order pretty quickly for how busy it was. Their menu is VERY limited. You have a choice of pizza, some sub sandwiches and spaghetti and meatballs and 2 salads. I was going to order pizza, (ONLY comes in 12", thin crust), and my husband wanted the spaghetti. We placed our order, only to be told that they don't serve spaghetti on Tuesdays. Nowhere on the menu does it say that. Ok, so we will share this pizza (I was going to eat 2 pieces and take the rest home, originally). So, we place our pizza order and wait, and wait, and wait. After about 35 min., my husband asks the waitress, who never once stopped by our table until he called her over, how much longer did she think our pizza would be. After all it is a 12", thin crust....I have to say, she was pretty rude. She basically said that they were very busy, and she didn't have any control over how long it was going to take. Her tone was very nasty. She said, as she was walking away that she would check. After that, she passed by our table numerous times, not acknowledging us once. Clearly she didn't check on our order. Just as we were talking about paying for our drinks and cancelling, our pizza finally arrived. In total, it was about a 45 minute wait. To call this pizza, "thin crust", is to do a disservice to thin crust pizzas. I think they may have thrown some flour on a wet pizza stone, topped it with sparse toppings, and threw it in the oven. It was barely a crust. We ate it because we were super hungry at this point. The waitress dropped off our bill, and said a brief, "Thanks", as she walked away. I get it that they were clearly understaffed, and I am sure she was tired, but that is NO excuse for an attitude to your customers. We normally tip pretty well....today was not one of those days. We will NEVER go back to that place. I would have given -0- stars if that was an option.

Yelp
This was a huge disappointment. Voted best pizza in MI? I almost want to go back to see if someone new was cooking? We ordered 3 completely different pizzas, and they all tasted exactly the same - flavorless. It was so odd. We sat there flabbergasted. 4 adults and 2 kids and we were all shocked.

Ala D.

Yelp
The pizza was not good. I am all for thin crust, but the crust on this pizza was soggy and not crisp. The marinara sauce must have come out of a jar because it did not taste fresh. This is my first time eating here and I will not be back again.

Yelp
Fricano's Pizza was as great as ever...Grand Haven, Muskegon and Alpine Ave. Fricano's pizzas in all locations are great!
google avatar

Yelp
Crust is one of a kind and awesomely good! Thin and crispy one size only. Toppings are uniquely sourced and sooo good! In our family we ordered 1 pie per person so we could each have breakfast or lunch the next day! I've got a favorite pizza in every state I've been in but Fricanos is absolute favorite!

Yelp
Fricano's and Tuesday Night Cruise Nights! Alright you guys. We've got a SWEET spot to show ya! Fricano's is 100% a crowd favorite. They serve up amazing thin crust pizzas! Their pizza is one of the most famous in Michigan and is simply a classic. I can remember visiting Fricano's all the time growing up and it really is a family event! And you won't be disappointed at all at what their menu has to offer! Love all kinds of meats on your pizza? A variety of veggies? How about some pineapple? (Shoutout to all the pineapple pizza lovers ) Fricano's has it ALL! In Comstock Park, Fricano's adds even more flare to their restaurant by hosting "Cruise Nights" What exactly are Cruise Nights you might ask? Cruise Nights are for showing off the classic cars in the area and it is so cool!! So many cars show up and it's amazing to walk through and look at the years of the cars, some dating back to the early 1900's, and notice the different styles! Not only is it amazing to look at all the classic cars, but it also shows a sense of community in the area which is just as cool to witness!

Yelp
Best pizza I've ever had. If you just want dough, cheese, and a couple toppings, go to Domino's. This thin crust pizza is unique unlike anything you ever had. Service is impeccable. If you haven't ever been here, give it a try.

Yelp
Sadly I was looking forward to liking this place. I'm a thin crust fan but this was just bad. Paper thin, someone put pizza spice all over it, the Parmesan cheese is in their pie somewhere. It was so over spiced and Parmesan was way to much. Cooked correct just a sad frozen over spiced Jacks pizza. Maybe it was the guy running the ovens tonight but it was horrific. Had to stop at arbys and drink a shake to rid that taste. Threw out leftovers. Sorry to write this guys. Pictures are deceiving

Joshua L.

Yelp
Worst pizza I've ever had and extremely pricey for the thinnest paper crust. I'm all about supporting small businesses, but this one missed the mark. I even got food poisoning afterwards, it was that bad. They only have ONE waitress running around and serving guests, while there's multiple employees in the back just standing around. The only edible item was the oatmeal cookies at the counter.
google avatar

Renee J.

Yelp
They're open for in dining. They offer beer and wine. Thin crust pizza and salad very good. Tables with diners adequately spaced during this covid-19 era. Friendly waitstaff.

Jerry G.

Yelp
Pizza is the best! Love the thin crust! Some people think it's greasy but that's just the delicious cheese that they use.
google avatar

Benjamin B.

Yelp
I love Fricanos Pizza. Plain and simple. I also am a guy who favors a thin crust pie as opposed to a deeper dish style, making Fricanos right up my alley. The pizza is nice and crispy with limited bread to get in the way of the quality ingredients. I like how easy to eat the pizza is and how unique the flavor is. Italian seasoning and garlic are used well and flavor is well baked into everything they make. Atmosphere is lacking, but if you are going for a great sit down pizza joint, look no further.

Yelp
Imagine the equivalent of a 7/11 hotdog... How these people stay in business is a testament to the lack of a discerning clientele with a functioning palate. Greasy, waaaaaaay too many canned mushrooms...soggy...I will never ever eat one of their garbage pizzas again. If you're wise - you keep moving.

Skip K.

Yelp
Wowed bye there pizza's just a great dago flapjack been going to Fricano's since I was a kid! You either love or hate them, it's a west Michigan thug!

Thomas H.

Yelp
We went this afternoon as regular Customers for over15 years and Doug was there and we brought him a bouquet of flowers and he just BLEW us Off, he could of atleast said a simple Thanks, he KNEW who we were, always great tippers and as seniors----POLITE! The guy just was POMPAS *%^#! and we left and will NOT COME BACK! Thanks to his attidude We really DO NOT think he deserves any more buisness from us and we will be MORE than happy to let ALL know on This page, Trip Advisor and Face Book!

Yelp
Listen up. If you don't like ultra thin crust pizza with well done edges, you will NOT enjoy this pizza. If you do like a well done thin crust pizza with a little grease, this place is for you. I do not judge a restaurant by their use of paper plates. I care about their food. If paper plates are a deal breaker, move on. This place is no frills. The pizza comes in one size. It's big enough for 2 people to split. If you're really hungry, each person may want to get their own pie. Their menu has pizza, a couple salads and maybe a small spaghetti for your child and nothing else. The limited menu should be your first indication that you need to order ONLY the pizza. The do have a small bar so you can get an adult beverage with your pizza. It looks like there are no refills on soda. If you're not willing to pay for a refill, you should be drinking water. Our service was great. Our pizza was fantastic. I saw the table next to us ordered a salad. It was gigantic and was entree size. No complaints. This was exactly what I expected and the pizza hit the spot. This location takes credit cards.

Cindy B.

Yelp
Food was fine, place was clean and a cute atmosphere, service was terrible. We arrived at 8:10 p.m. and they close at 9 p.m. but I guess that wasn't enough advance time. Server was very rude and 100% annoyed that we were there. I ask to order a salad after we ordered our pizza and she said, well I guess but I will have to make it! No one asked if every thing was okay pretty much on our own. It was just my husband and I. Showing up 50 mins before closing should not of been such a big issue. Mad that we had to pay out over almost $50 to a place that made you feel like they didn't want you there.

Yelp
During the summer months I always look forward to visiting the original Fricano's Grand Haven location. Although very vintage (GH location doesn't have AC and they don't accept credit cards) they are known for their super thin crust and flavorful pizza. I heard that a new location opened up, and I decided to order a cheese pizza for delivery. The pizza was almost as good as I remember it from Grand Haven. Cheesy, greasy (in the best way) and super thin crispy crust. I wish it had slightly more oregano as the seasoning definitely amplifies the flavor. The pizzas are one size and they offer limited toppings. The crust is so thin I can almost finish an entire pizza myself. Last night I also asked for a small ice cream sundae with my pizza. My Grubhub driver called to notify me that they didn't have any to-go containers for that. A bit unusual, I thought. Basically the pizza is so unique and legendary that's the sole reason why this place is successful. It's an epic thin crust pizza. Is it cost effective? Not exactly. Is it annoying to pay with cash in 2019? Definitely! But is the pizza worth it? I sure think so.

Scott C.

Yelp
Na this place is garbage dawg the only reson I say this not to be bias or anything but I threw up in my toilet after I ate this stuff they said that they are number 1 rated in Michigan but that's cap they ain't even in the top 12 kinda overrated false advertising I came to This place only to clean my plate full of pizzia the only thing I was cleaning was my toilet bowl 1/5 don't recommend
google avatar

Julia N.

Yelp
Never had a bad pizza from Fricano's in the 20 years we've been going. With their signature cheese and crust you will find nothing like it. Everytime we go, we order a cheese, pepperoni and 2 EBAs, don't forget the Highball wine. It's an Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. Often times, you'll get to meet the owner Doug as he makes his way through the crowd to meet and chat with customers. Going to Fricano's is a family event for us!
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Not my favorite pizza. This style pizza is just not for me. I do not like thing crust and this crust is so thin they cut it with scissors!!!! Literally. This is a local cult classic and you either love it or don't ...unfortunately I do not care for it. The service is friendly and prompt the locations are rustic just the pizza is not my style of east coast pizza.
google avatar

Marianne G.

Yelp
So we ordered a large pizza for carryout for dinner from Fricano's. What they did not tell us when we ordered the pizza over the phone was that there is only one size, and it only comes in an ultra thin crust. It really is not that much food, and we were a little bit disappointed upon picking it up. We ordered a mushroom and pepperoni pizza, and it was pretty good. Although we were not expecting the ultra thin crust, it was nice for the most part. My only complaint with this pizza's toppings were that the mushrooms were canned. Overall, the pizza was satisfactory, but we will likely not get pizza from here again.

Andy C.

Yelp
We went to the new Manistee location for a late lunch and it was one of the worst meals we've had in some time. There isn't much to choose from as the menu is very limited. We ordered an appetizer and greek pizza. The appetizer was supposed to be white bean hummus with roasted garlic, fresh vegetables and warm tortilla bread. It came with none of that. Stale, old tortilla chips and a bland version of some kind of pureed white beans. No flavor at all. The pizza wasn't much better. It was missing the feta cheese, tomatoes and kalamata olives. Instead of those it came with mushrooms, which were nothing more than pieces and stems from a can. The crust was soggy and overall no flavor. Other than the Chef Boyardee pizza sauce. The couple sitting near us were missing the chicken on their salads, asked about it and the waitress said she'd look into it and never came back. When she did she brought the check. They asked again and she said she'd be right back. She came back and told them that the cook was new and that they took the salads off their bill. After seeing this, we decided that complaining to her would do no good. So we choked down our meal and left. I emailed the restaurant with my concerns, not asking for a refund, but expecting some sort of reply. An apology of some sort, but nothing. Apparently they really don't care. I'm reviewing this here because the Manistee location doesn't have a review available, but the ownership here is responsible.

Yelp
Another nice visit last night! Stopped in around 630 and again, no wait. Grabbed a few tables by the window to push together for a group of 5 adults + one baby. Waitress was over right away to take our drink order. They offer a full bar, but they do not have a huge selection... but enough to appease everyone. Had a Bell's in a bottle- their beer is always SUPER cold. Love it! We did order 2 orders of the meatballs- they are awesome. The meatballs are pretty small and you only get three to an order- so in my opinion.. everyone should get their own order lol They sauce the come in is to die for! I believe they sell it by the jar! The menu is pretty small: but if you are aware of this going in.. you can't be disappointed. There are not a ton of options for a "make your own" pizza, but they do offer some specialty ones- no substitutions! I ordered sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, extra cheese and well done. SO GOOD. The extra cheese does make the pizza a little bit greasy (or a lot of bit...) but, the thin crust is just SO GOOD that it doesn't really bother me. Pizza's come out pretty fast, too! I cant' finish a whole pizza, but my husband can.. so i would call them individual size for perfect for two people. We have never had dessert while here, but I saw cannoli on the menu and I know they have cookies! We don't stop in often, but when we do we are never disappointed! Consistently good thin crust pizza and cold beer. I have heard that THIS location offers more options than the one out in Muskegon... but they are still very limited in their offerings. That is their thing, and I am cool with that. This is NOT the place to go for 100 different toppings and a Chicago style pizza. But, great pizza nonetheless.

Al R.

Yelp
Best pizza I ever had. Well worth the drive no matter what friendly staff too. House special is a must

Yelp
Pizza was kinda burnt but the service was great, best waitress that I've ever had (Marissa) Edit- my friend threw it up after

Yelp
My favorite pizza in Grand Rapids and possibly the world! I moved away from Grand Rapids and it's one of two places I crave. I was back in GR recently and had to stop for a pizza. They used to just be located in Holland and Grand Haven but now have more locations including the Caledonia spot I visited. It has a great Italian ambience inside. Apparently a brother in the family started the new stores. They only serve one size pizza, a 12in personal size, with really thin crust. The original pizzerias only offered 5 toppings: pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, mushrooms and anchovies. They new restaurants offer more toppings but I still went for the famous EBA (everything but anchovies). The pizza is cheesy and greasy delicious, topped with secret seasoning that they call "bird seed". 12 inches may sound big but it really is a personal size given it is so thin. The new restaurants also offer a full Italian menu, which I did not try. Another option would be for a couple to share a pizza and one entree. I can't imaging going here without getting a pizza. Crave-alicious!

AaronJ G.

Yelp
Since a child growing up in West Michigan Fricanos is still my favorite pizza. "Everything but" with extra bird seed is my go to order and will remain forever
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
I don't know if you're having phone issues or what but I've been trying to call in an order for 30 minutes calling back to back & it's been steady busy tone. I'm having to order from another spot which sucks.

Yelp
How have I not reviewed Fricano's??? Just great pizza. Thin crust. Great people working there. We have been coming here for years even though it is a bit out if the way for us. If we lived closer would probably eat here at least once a week They have spaghetti and meatballs and meatball subs if you don't want pizza That is the menu I am sure the pasta and subs are good but the pizza is so good I have never tried them
google avatar

Ron S.

Yelp
I lived near the original location (which I loved) in Grand Haven and was excited to have Fricano's again on my business trip. The service was great. But the pizza really disappointed. It was swimming in grease, and the taste was just okay. Limited draft beer. When I started the review, I was at 3 stars and as I reflect back - it's a solid 2.
google avatar

Russ V.

Yelp
I won't be coming back, I can't see the attraction. It's, more or less, on the corner of no and where. Even from downtown it is not worth the drive. On a recommendation from a friend I came across town, and for what? The menu is vary limited. Pizza, spaghetti with meatballs, subs. That's it. The pizza crust is not hand tossed. You can see them running it though the machine from your table. No refills on drinks. Heck McDonald's has free refills (at the same price). There is no parmesan cheese at the table. The cheese is clearly just the GFS answer to kraft, so I it can't be more expensive then what everyone else uses. I have never been to another Italian restaurant without Parmesan cheese on the table. It wasn't just a mistake, I asked, they won't bring it out. The meatballs tasted like they are also GFS, not home made. The Edge of the pizza crust was burned, and it was greasy. Let's call this place what it is. This is dive bar with delusions of being a restaurant. I know better dive bars that are closer.
google avatar

Brittany K.

Yelp
Great pizza - especially the homemade sausage, cruise nights on tuesdays bring a fun crowd in
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
When our server said almost immediately that they are the Pizza Nazi I knew right away I was gonna like her! The pizza is very good - and I say this being a fan of a thicker crust usually and theirs is pretty thin. I have tried the roasted garlic basil pizza & the Hawaiian. I would actually prefer chunks of roasted garlic on my pizza but that doesn't seem easy for me to find. Both were fantastic in my opinion! Fricanos offers a few different specialty pizzas or about 5 toppings you can choose from to make your own combo. They do not substitute but will remove items from the specialty pizzas listed. However, they will not make a pizza with anything other than the toppings listed. Yes, this means you cannot choose a topping that isn't on the list even if it can be found on a specialty pizza. The service isn't the fastest but the servers I have had are awesome! I can't wait to go back, I find myself craving their pizza.

Tom G.

Yelp
I would consider this place a curious joint to eat. It seems loved and admired by many regulars customers. However, every Time I go here they completely underperform. From the outside appearance of the property down to the food, it has not been very good. And I truly wish I could say I love it, but I just don't. Thin crust pizza-ok. Service-ok Attentiveness of staff-ok Landscaping and building is run down Food prep and area to pay bill is messy. Dining area smells damp and musty on a Friday night... After four tries, I can not figure out why this place is still open. If the pizza tasted and looked amazing I could see things different. But in my opinion, it is not. Nice people and I wish them well.
google avatar

Ron T.

Yelp
Never been here before but came here for a party. The place was packed! I didn't order any of the pizza we had but liked everything I tried. Unique pizza. Very thin crust almost cracker thin. I like this because you don't get filled on bread. I tried Pizza Primavera which has spinach, zucchini, black olives, feta cheese, green onions, and pea pods. I tried one piece because it looked interesting. I quickly grabbed another piece because it was so--good! Atmosphere here is comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely come back when I am in the area. Trust.

Yelp
Went there tonight for the first time. Pizza was ok. Waitress was better but overall not worth the drive. Wish we would've read reviews before though. First and last! Word of advice don't mix business with politics. https://www.facebook.com/fricanospizza/posts/1252203824801162
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Friendly staff, but the thin crust pizza was so soggy & greasy, also well overdone and served on Very cheap paper plates. Would not recommend unless you don't know what good pizza is!

Matt P.

Yelp
Decided to finally give this place another try after being turned off by the political signs out front of the business a few years ago. Pizza was ok. Greasy, thin crust, but not bad. Service and presentation SUCKS. Tiny paper plates, Had to ask for a fork, and much of the staff was on their phones the whole time. Could hear the bartender who I believe was the owner discussing the latest Sean Hannity talking points while we ate our food. The guy who checked us out was dismissive, and the icing on the turd was the camo "Trump 2020" hat prominently displayed on the counter. It was pretty slow for a Saturday night, and I'm not surprised. I'll never be back. What a foolish business decision to alienate 60 to 70 percent of your potential clientele. Sad.
google avatar

Kristen K.

Yelp
We had a party of 8 and only one of their tiny limited menus. Slow service and a rude owner. When I gave my feedback to the owner as we were leaving he put his hand on my shoulder and told us never to come back again. This is two families he's booting out the door because we were surprised about the charge for refills on soda. Which the waitress refilled with out asking. The pizza was extremely greasy and for limited toppings why not use fresh mushrooms rather than the canned. My heart sank when the owner came to our table and I realized I had seen him on the news being very political. The windows were cloudy and we each had one dessert size flimsy paper plate. Enjoyed our time with friends, but will go elsewhere next time. Plenty of options happy to have us.

Yelp
My favorite!!! Been eating here since I was a young kid. I crave this pizza at times and no other pizza will do. One of only two good pizza places in GR in my opinion.

Ruth A.

Yelp
I have to say - the food is great. But if your looking for customer service, then go elsewhere.... I ordered pizza online (even got email confirmation) to be picked up at 5pm, husband stopped on his way home to pick up. Was told there was no order. He gave them the order number, and was told that number meant nothing. So he left - no pizza. I called them and was told the order went to email (so they got it). The manager told me he doesn't understand why people just don't pick up the phone and order (excuse me??). I was told basically sorry bout your bad luck. No once did they try to make it right. He didn't even offer to make the pizza right away.

Yelp
State law requires staff to wear face masks. Owner/manager had his mask on chin the entire time I was there. Mouth/nose completely exposed. Talking loud to customers face to face. Some kitchen staff also had noses out. I'm a regular customer but they need to be reported to health department.

Yelp
We have lived here for four years, and this was the first pizza place that reminded me of the best thin crusts that Chicago has to offer. This truly is the best pizza in Michigan. The staff is friendly and the pizza is excellent. Take my advice; if you are going to get pizza do it here. We hate to leave it behind as we move.

Yelp
Usually one of favorites pizza spots when we are back home for a weekend. The only pizza is thin crust pizza, cracker thin. They don't have many of the various topping offerings of a traditional pizza place, so you are somewhat limited on what you can do to your pie. Also being thin crust, each pizza is basically a personal pizza so your bill get pretty large pretty quick. We tried one of the specials on our last visit. It was some sort of Hawaiian (without ham though, again limited options). It wasn't bad, but it maybe had one small piece of pineapple on each slice. Pretty lackluster. I am sure we will visit again when we are in town, but out last visit definitely wasn't the Fricano's experience of our past.

Yelp
I'm going to give a simple review for a simple product. I worked at the N. Park location for over 3 years back around 1999 and had this pizza everyday (ahh, the joys of a teenage metabolism) and never once got sick of it. It's that good. It's true, Fricanos only offers thin-crust, 5 toppings and one size but I'm telling you, it works. Lastly, I got to know the owner, Doug, when I worked there and I can honestly say that it is extremely rare that you find a business owner who has as much pride invested in keeping the product sacred, as he does. This business and the people behind it are authentic Grand Rapids. Something we don't see a whole lot of anymore. Treat yourself to a classic!
