I visited the Frietmuseum purely out of curiosity . It’s a versatile little museum dedicated entirely to potatoes and fries.
It’s an okay place to visit if you have some free time in Bruges. Not exactly a must-visit, but interesting enough if you enjoy quirky museums. You do get the chance to try freshly made fries, which sounds great in theory.
That said, the price felt rather high for what was presented. One thing to note: when I booked, I assumed the fries were included with the ticket… they’re not, you pay extra. And unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend eating the fries there.
Overall: fun concept, decent if you’re curious, but manage your expectations.
