"Fringe employs Neapolitan ingredients and techniques that Rajotte describes as being 'as traditional as possible.' The dough is made solely of water, salt, yeast, and Italian-sourced flour and cold fermented for 48 hours, while the sauce is made from San Marzano tomatoes." - Paul Albani-Burgio

Fringe Pizza provides truly fantastic Neapolitan pizza. Having had the amazing pizza in Naples, Italy, it's hard to find anything that compares, but Fringe is as close as I've had. The dough, sauce, and toppings are all fantastic and achieve a perfect balance. If you want your pizza slathered in greasy cheese, this is not the place for you (and you should reconsider), but if you want to experience an authentic Neapolitan pizza the way it was intended to be eaten, you won't find a better place in the area than Fringe. The Rapini is pictured. Please admire the beautiful char.

Pretty good pizza! My crust was a bit burnt and I usually like eating the crust, and the main part of the pizza was flimsy. I'd probably eat here again though as that was my first time

This ranks pretty hi up for pizza in the Boulder area. They deliver at Finkel & Garf Brewing; can’t go wrong with that!

The closest comparison for the style of this pizza would be Pizzeria Locale, in Boulder. Meaning the pizza is truly excellent. We were under the false impression that you can eat here, but there is only an outdoor bar seating area, so good on the sunny days. The reason for the four stars is to draw attention to the tipping settings on the register. This practice is becoming more common with places that are more take away or even retail. I feel as if the owners should be responsible for paying their employees a living wage and price the services appropriately. It starts to get awkward when the the customer has to bear too much of the burden of employee compensation. We got the pizza with beyond meat and it was really perfect. They include a pizza cutter as the pizza comes uncut. Great option if you live in the area. For Boulder, best pizza deal in town is generally P Locale during lunch or happy hour 😊

The pizza here is quite good. I enjoyed the flavors and crust and have been back 3 or 4 times. The only reason I give 4 stars is that they do not let you customize your pizza enough. You can have ingredients taken off but you can’t have any added. I also think that they should ask you if you need a pizza cutter before they give you one. I understand their reasons but I think they could at least ask seeing as it’s wasteful for those of us who don’t have food allergies or who own a pizza cutter.

Nice, small, fast, tasty neapolitan pizza. I got a Piccante pizza. Their salami piccante did have a little kick to it. I appreciated that the crust was the thinnest pizza crust I've had in Colorado. It was properly blackened on the bottom, and had that light, bready, neapolitan flavor. The red sauce was nice and mild, if just a bit thin for my taste. The cheese had a good, full flavor. This place my be my go-to if I want to grab some take out on the way home, since the pizza came out super quickly. There's no indoor seating, so don't plan to hang around if it's not nice out, unless you want to wander over and eat at Finkel and Garf's. There are a few outdoor tables if it's a nice day.

I must say I rarely write negative reviews, even when warranted. Today was ridiculous. We show up and order, another gentleman decides to order a take home about 5 minutes later while he’s eating at the bar. His pizza shows up and he goes home. Another guy shows up and orders, he gets his pie and goes home. Another guy shows up, gets two pies, walks to the Hampton. 10 minutes later we hear the lady at front counter say we need two more pizzas. I stand in front of counter, she looks at me, says nothing. The guy who walked to hotel returns and says he got the wrong pizzas. His new pizza is ready in 5 and off he goes. Meanwhile, not once, did anyone acknowledge that we’d been there well over 30 minutes where our pizzas were given away, no apology, no explanation, nothing. We get the pies, and kindly ask for explanation....this is the best one yet “well these are hot” and he walks off to handle more business. Total joke for service doubt I’ll ever return.

To be fair, Fringe deserves 4.5 stars.. The pizza dough is quite excellent, sauce simple and has well balanced acidity (as it should) the lamb pepperoni was quite good and distinct. My only small critiques are as follows; a strict to-go should have a either a lunch special at something less than double digits ($12 for a margherita) and I feel all the pizzas are a little spendy for a non-sit-down restaurant. Please don't get me wrong, it's a darn well made pizza, but it would be great to have an $8-$9 pizza that would be an easy lunch alternative to everything else fast casual in Gunbarrel.
