The Frisco Barroom is amazing! The food is delicious and fresh! Our server, Terry, was very professional and friendly, as well as considerate of our 7-month-old. He told us about the freshly made bread, in-house smoked meat, and freshly ground beef. Let me tell you that the level of care put into each ingredient is super obvious in taste. I'm afraid that this has ruined all other Reuban sandwiches for me, because they will never compare to the quality and taste of the sandwich I had here. Seriously, if your looking for a place for some great food, great service, and is family friendly, look no further than Frisco Barroom!

A friend and I were reminiscing about our childhood memories of eating kielbasa and pierogies, and thanks to Google, we found the Frisco Barroom. The pierogies and kilebasa were amazing. We never had kapusta and we fell in love with it. My hubby had the turkey club and said it was some of the best turkey he had. The whiskey list is extensive with lots of great choices, and the pour was generous. We had so much to eat we took home leftovers. We will definitely be back.

Omg... fave restaurant ever. We sat out on the patio, by the fire, listening to live music. Had the best drinks (blackberry spritzer) and ate the BEST food. I told my husband this is like heaven for me... love this place so much!

Google
Had a simple and very reasonably priced dinner tonight. This restaurant was very charming. The weather was mild and their patio was open and they offered outside seating tonight with heaters. They also have an upstairs dining room too. For an early Sunday night dinner, they were pretty busy. I ordered the French dip and fries. My friend order the Salsiccia. Their kitchen put his onions and peppers on my plate and his side item came out wrong. The server corrected the mistake eventually. She said they had some new people in the kitchen and apologized. I would definitely come back though because it was such a cute place and the prices very reasonable.

Google
We visited on a Sunday evening and were able to be seated in their outside seating area upstairs, which afforded a nice breeze and view. The service was excellent and the food was better. This was my 2nd visit, and this time, I tried the double smashburger with bacon and a side of green beans. My daughter and I split a Caesar salad. The rest of the family enjoyed smoked trout, chicken salad, grilled cheese, and brie as an appetizer. Everyone loved their food and are ready to return as we all saw something else on the menu that piqued our interest. Highly recommend!

Can’t believe we didn’t try sooner. Atmosphere was just so excellent. Food was really good. I especially liked the diverse menu that had a little something for all of us. Hoping to catch some music and grab a cocktail next time. We will be back.

Google
This was a pleasant afternoon stop. Food was great, my wife has some special allergies and they were very accommodating. She had the trout and they made it work. I had the perch sandwich it was very good although I did not read completely so I did not get the condiments like lettuce tomatoes and such. But still very good. Drinks were great all in all we plan on going back to try the beer garden.

Google
I usually don’t order salads as a meal because they tend to be bland. That all changed with the salads we ordered at The Frisco. We enjoyed the fresh and flavorful ingredients.

Yelp
Always good service and food. Patio is great. Lots of parking behind the building and easy to access from I44.

Yelp
Spent a very cute half birthday / birthday dinner here! The atmosphere is a mix, it's in Webster which has both an older and younger vibe The two top table was a little small for having plates and sharing foods but the service was great and food was very good We started with the trout dip which i LOVED. Warm and with crackers. Plenty to share between two people. Then, we had their classic potato pierogi and their mushroom pierogi! It was my first time having them and they were really good! I'm definitely a crunchy outside kinda person but they were cooked really well and had delicious flavors. My birthday babe had a piece of key lime pie (she gave it a solid 7.5/10), also my first time having them- not my favorite but nothing wrong with it for people who like pie! Overall it was a lovely dinner, I'll have to try more next time!

Yelp
Patio and pretzels. The upstairs patio is lovely and the high point of the restaurant. The smoked trout toast was quite tasty and the second best dish we had was the pretzel. Now, if the pretzel is the second best thing you have for dinner, that isn't saying much. Food would likely be a 2 1/2 star. Ambiance would be a 4. Service would be a 2. No refills on drinks, including the waters.

Yelp
I enjoyed Frisco Barroom - overall it's a good happy hour spot with good casual food. Loved: the happy hour food menu - some good options and great prices. Also loved how big the mocktail spritz was. The service was fantastic too Liked: the French onion soup and turkey club were good - nothing special but both good dishes

Yelp
Perfect evening to sit outside and enjoy a great meal. Service was helpful for us in choosing allergy free foods, specials and making choices. I ordered one of the best Caesar salads ever and had a plate of the mushroom, kapusta pierogis. Delicious. The pierogis were huge! With a shared key lime pie for dessert, a well balanced and yummy dinner!!

Yelp
I ordered their grilled cheese which was top of the line! The slice of apples and Gouda mixed with bacon hit the spot. I love that they have live music on the weekends. Be sure to check out their website. Amazing patio space with fans. Next to an ice cream shop as well for a treat if you do not select a desert from their menu.

Yelp
We appreciated the hostess working with us to seat a table of 9 people for happy hour. We ended up getting a table upstairs which worked out great. My husband got the brat and beer special while I enjoyed the deviled eggs and a glass of white. Later I got the beet salad with smoked trout - yummy. Although the chicken probably matched the salad better. The white fish dip was also delicious. Others seemed to enjoy the food and drinks. Esp my nephew who had 4 of their cocktails to celebrate his birthday. No he was not driving. We really like this place and I would have liked to give it 5 stars but our waiter was so cranky. The table next to us literally told him to stop slamming the plates down on the table! Then when my sister tried to cancel the bratwurst order because I told her it spicy, he blew up at her. In her defense it does not say on menu that it is jalapeño brat.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a holiday Monday and it was packed. 15-20 min wait for a table. Frisco Barroom is in an historic building at the heart of Old Orchard in Webster. They make many of their breads, jams on site, as well as cure and smoke most of their meat. They offer charcuterie boards, soups, sandwiches but also have steak, fish and pasta entrees. They have an extensive beer selection including local crafts, and a pretty beer garden for nicer weather. We chose the French onion soup, and split a grilled cheese sandwich. Soup was wonderful with plentiful onions and topped with two large cheesy toasted French bread slices. The grilled cheese had thinly sliced apple, bacon and three types of cheese. Very unique and tasty! Emily was our server and while busy, was on top of things and attentive as needed. Very good experience here and it will be on the list to return again when the weather permits use of the beer garden!

Yelp
Great patio!! The menu is great at Frisco. It was hard to just pick one item to get. I ended up getting the harvest salad because the fried goat cheese ball that comes on top!! It's was super good. My friend got the turkey club which looked amazing. I also got to try the cheese potatoes and they were so good and I loved the crunch on the top. We sat outside in December and it was perfect. The heaters really warm up the patio and they have a huge fireplace outside. I will say the star of the show and the reason I'll be back time and time again is the espresso martinis. They are the best I've ever had. Parking is easy, there is a huge lot in back and side street parking.

Yelp
In town again for the weekend, this was our first stop. As usual, everything was excellent. Burgers, roast beer, pierogis.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! I love stopped by after some shopping for lunch. They had a little hideaway patio in the back with a big fireplace. It was gorgeous and comfortable. The staff was friendly and gave some recommendations. Food was hot and seasoned. Plus, the Ruben has some kind of mustard on it that makes it OUT of this world!

Yelp
Overall, this place is excellent for a nice dinner out with friends! Their patio is beautiful and their food selection is varied. FOOD: We shared a plate of poutine, and got some fun fall drinks (blackberry smash and apple martini). The poutine was delicious and so were the drinks! The apple martini was a bit strong for my taste but the blackberry smash was phenomenal. Also highly recommend the beef stroganoff! SERVICE: Our waitress was very attentive and came at the right times when we needed refills or things cleared. Wonderful! AMBIANCE: We loved the outdoor patio with fairy lights. It was a great spot on a cooler evening to enjoy the weather.

Yelp
We found ourselves in Webster Groves at noon on a Wednesday and decided to grab some lunch. Parking in this area was a bit of a challenge I wasn't expecting but it was a beautiful day and we didn't mind a short walk. We approached this beautiful historic building and headed to the back to have lunch on the patio. It was private, had heaters and a fireplace and the parking lot was hidden making it feel so cozy. Our waitress made several suggestions for us and was very helpful. We settled on poutine and a Reuben and both were fantastic! The Reuben had a delicious thousand island dressing but I think o tasted a Dijon taste to it as well which elevated it! Our side was potato casserole and it tasted like it was made with love just like grandmas! The entire experience was lovely and I plan to go back!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Especially in the summer. They have one of the best patios in the Lou! They also have a fireplace and heaters for those chilly evening. The interior is charming as well. But let's talk about the food! The menu is great and i haven't ordered anything i didn't like. They are very good about accommodating food allergies. The wait staff is typically always couteious and they have a great bar menu!

Yelp
I've been here many times and have never had a great meal. I would say the food is mediocre. My last meal made me not want to come back. It's always busy and servers seem to struggle to wait on everyone, it's a shame because they have a wonderful outdoor space.

Pat M.

Yelp
We had a great business lunch today. The food was delicious and the service was great. The upstairs outdoor dining area is great and wonderful experience. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
The parking lot was surprisingly big so we were able to find a spot right away on a Saturday. We requested a table on the patio so we had to wait a little bit which was fine since it was so nice out. The waiter was RUDE to my friend. She asked if she could get an iced sweet tea and where he promptly put the menus down on the table, kept his arms down, looked right at her and said in an irritated parent voice and said, "we don't HAVE sweet tea here," and it ruined the entire mood for the meal. He had to keep asking for things that we requested when we ordered and it was not a very enjoyable experience despite the reviews of this establishment. I will say the fries were delightful, but the burger was extremely salty. I also ordered the pain killer and was surprised at the ratio of alcohol to juice. At least I know they aren't stingy with their alcohol! I like the touch of mint border outside to keep mosquitos away. Disappointed, but at least I had good company.

Yelp
Incredible food! We sat outside on the patio and the heaters kept the temperature very enjoyable. I ordered a strawberry margarita mocktail and it was very well made. We ordered quite a few shareables and an entree each. We definitely could've just stuck to the shareables, as the portions are pretty generous. Service was good. I'd recommend this spot to others for a family dinner out or dinner with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this spot for the first time not too long and the experience was pretty decent. Huge restaurant with plenty of seating indoor and out. We chose to sit outside on their nice patio, it was the perfect evening for it. Started off with the trout toast which was delicious and a perfect start to the meal. For the entree I enjoyed my turkey club but it was just a bit dry. The fries were decent as well, not the hottest in temperature. My friend got the beet salad and said it was decent but not amazing. As an extra side we also got the Mac n cheese which also wasn't bad just not the hottest in temperature. The service was good but we left a cash tip and ended up getting charged more than what we signed for. Also a bit pricey in my opinion. Cocktails were good! Give it a try and see what you think.

Yelp
Massive venue with large outdoor seating are. We went for happy hour outside and it was a really cute environment great for catching up with friends. We arrived when servers were changing so it took 10 minutes after being sat for someone to even come to our table. Food was great for what we ordered, highly recommend the deviled eggs. The chef's board rotates so it depends on the day you go on what that is. French onion soup was alright, nothing spectacular but great for a cool fall day. Would go back for happy hour.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour and it was a good spot to meet. It was late afternoon and there were ample amount of tables available. I ordered the Sauvignon blanc and we had an order of the hummus. All was good and service was good! I would definitely love a bit more variety in the happy hour menu, but my experience was good. Love the vibe and how centrally located it is. Always a good choice!

Yelp
Frisco Barroom is one of my favorite places to eat. I love their patio and rooftop. I typically go for the turkey club. The basil Mayo and their bread is absolutely delicious. I really love all of their spritz drinks as well. Definitely come here next time you want to sit outside!!
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first time at the Frisco Barrom. I went with a friend of mine who recommended it. We had the hummus and it was really good. We both had the turkey club which was excellent but the cucumber salad was so good. The service was amazing and the staff were so nice. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Yelp
Thr frisco barroom is a pretty big place with lots of seating and friendly staff. The only complaint my party had was that it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We sat upstairs and if you choose this, there is a very steep staircase so if you can't do stairs beware because there is no elevator. We started with soup. Two of us had French onion soup and the other had chowder. We all agreed the soup was good but not the best we have ever had. I split a Rueben with my mom and the corned beef was tender and had good flavor. It was a large sandwich to us but could be eaten by one hungry person. It really was delicious and I have been looking for a decent rueben so I was very happy. I got thr potato and cheese casserole as my side and while okay, they were very bland and could have benefited from a little seasoning. My daughter got the French dip and potato's as well and she loved the French dip. It was also a large sandwich could be split. She couldn't finish it all, but did eat the remaining meat because she said it was so good. My nephew got Shrimp and anceaser salad which he ate all of. My niece a grilled cheese and tomato soup. She enjoyed the soup but was not a fan of the cheese sandwich because the cheese was not melted enough. Finally, my brother got the salsica and he raved about it. He got carrots with his meal and said there was a sweet glaze and they were still a little firm but he liked that they were not mushy. For dessert two of us got sticky toffee pudding which was delicious. I am not the biggest fan of ice cream which comes with the pudding so I gave it to my mom. I did wish there was a choice of ice cream or whipped cream because it did need a bit of something to give it the creamiest the ice cream should have. My daughter got the bourbon pecan pie and didn't care much for it but only because it had a very strong bourbon flavor and she thought it would bake off a bit. But she tried my sticky toffee pudding and really liked that. I really wish I could remember the name of the hostess who seated us and our waitress because they were both extremely friendly and helpful. The waitress patiently answered all our questions as this was our first time there and recommended things she liked but stated that was her taste and that others enjoyed alternatives we considered. I found this place on Facebook when someone was talking about their routine, which I love and have to go back for... and I looked at their menu and since we have family weekend outings and like to try different places I selected t he Frisco Barrom and nobody was sorry I did.

Chris R.

Yelp
Had a family dinner at Frisco with adult kids. Food was all very good and service was to notch. The French onion soup was a highlight of the meal. We had a round of drinks as well and all were well made and we enjoyed them. The atmosphere was nice and we will repeat the visit in the future.

Yelp
We often head to the Frisco Barroom to meet friends due to we always have great food and great service. We met some friends on Wednesday night at 6:30pm and were hoping to sit outside since it was so nice out. The place was busy and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for our table on the back patio. Waiter was Brad and he seemed very knowledgeable, didn't hesitate on the rotating draft beer answer and a couple of other questions. He took our drink order and we never saw Brad again. I started to go look for him after 30 minutes but as i was getting up he brought our drinks out. While the place was busy it did not look line the bar was backed up so not sure what took so long. We placed our food orders immediately as we were now concerned about the wait. I had to ask about the specials, but again Brad knew them off the top of his head, seemed an experienced waiter. But again, no Brad for almost an hour until he brought out our food. Never asked if we needed more drinks, no apology for any of the delays, nothing. Food was great as usual, everyone enjoyed their food. Each of the patio tables have a sign asking to please not stay for more than 2 hours at the table as they are popular. Our entire experience from being seated to paying the bill took 2 hours and 20 minutes. We only ordered the initial round of drinks and our food order, no dessert or anything. I am sure the restaurant was backed up as they were busy, but that is no excuse for the lackadaisical attitude of Brad and lack of any acknowledgement of how slow everything including Brad was moving. We will be back as I am sure it was an off night for the restaurant, but I will ask for a different waiter if we get assigned Brad.

Yelp
There's street parking as well as a parking lot out back. I was quickly seated despite how busy it was post #Snowpocalypse. It's giving cozy pub vibes centered around companionship. Literally every table was lit up with conversation. My waitress Shelby was very attentive and amazing. My dining neighbors were very friendly and engaging as well. Happy birthday to whoever the fellow was talking to me about the single pane windows and how cold it is outside! I started with the cocktail called Jack Frost which was a tropical escape to the winter tundra we are currently in. For my meal I ordered a French Dip with a side of fries. The fries were very good (soft on the inside with crispy outer edges). The horseradish aioli was phenomenal and tasted really good mixing with the au jus. I lastly ordered the Blackberry Spritz per Shelby's recommendation and it was amazing! All of my food was so good I did not have room for dessert and had to take half my meal home to go!

Yelp
The food was delicious! The employees were very nice to me and my friend and got us a table very quickly! There are games showing on T.V's and it's a nice place to be!

Yelp
Got to have a mini date night with my wife and went here to grab a drink! Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the weather and could hear the live music. We shared the tempura cauliflower small plate, which was delicious, and each had a drink. Very tasty. According to our server, the bar was running behind, as we were halfway through the cauliflower before the drinks came. She did a good job checking on us. We were on the patio right beside the restaurant and around the corner from the live music, so we got a weird crossover of the live music and the speakers that they use for the restaurant. Would better to only have 1 as it was distracting. Fun place, will be back again and would love to sit on the rooftop area when the weathers good again!
google avatar

Paige C.

Yelp
A gem of restaurant in every way. Been here several times every year since they opened, they've stayed consistently great if not improved little by little. It's always busy and there is always a wait but for good reason. I love the variety of all their food, they have appetizers and entrees you wont find everywhere. There isn't a bad seat in the house, every room has such a dark and cozy feel. The wait staff is friendly and give great suggestions. Also a great place to get gift cards for the holidays, always impresses and excites who we've gifted them to.
google avatar

Michaela E.

Yelp
We went to The Frisco Barroom for lunch and it was so good! I wouldn't say we were early, but it was quiet which was nice! We sat inside but it would've been a beautiful day to sit outside on their covered, heated patio. I had the French melt and it was so filling! I recommend adding cheese and the horseradish sauce! It's so good! Other people in our group had the kids cheeseburger, and other sandwiches! We love going to Frisco Barroom and I hope the weather stays nice so we can sit on the patio soon!
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
I really liked The Frisco. The food is delicious, it comes out in a reasonable time even with crowds and Mick our server took good care of our table. We were upstairs inside and it was was an easier for me to hear conversations at our table there since the dining room is smaller. There are several places to sit and have a drink or dinner including outside on the balconies or on the main level on the patio. I had the Perch fish sandwich and seasonable vegetable/asparagus which were very good. There is parking on the street or around the back. I'll be back!
google avatar

Morgan J.

Yelp
This place is so cute! My baby and I were out and about and I wanted to hang out on the patio while waiting for a friend. The host was very accommodating and found us a very nice spot. I got one of their seasonal spritzes, a Caesar salad, and escargot. Everything was perfect. It was nice the escargot came with bread. I'm from out of town but this place will be number one on my list when I visit.
google avatar

Isra T.

Yelp
Very cute inside but even nicer outside. Loved their live music - we enjoyed folk rock Friday with All the Days. The pretzel was very tasty, as was everything else on the menu. Our server was friendly and checked in on us multiple times. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Jenelle B.

Yelp
Dinner on the patio - the pastrami and Swiss was delightful. The meat (house made) was just a touch sweet and tender. The bread for the sandwich (also house made) had the perfect crispness.

Yelp
Went to celebrate the end of the semester with a couple of friends. Gosh, this is a beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant space in an adorable neighborhood. We shared the Brie en croute (pictured). The pastry was perfectly baked. For my main, I had the steak with sautéed arugula and mashed potatoes. I ordered medium, but it was more toward well done. Not a huge deal, though, because it was so flavorful. The chimichurri sauce was killer. Arugula and potatoes were solid but not exceptional. My friends' dishes are also pictured here--a chicken sandwich with gouda and a club sandwich. We all really enjoyed our meals. The only drawback was the service. It was nearly impossible to get our server's attention. We probably waited 20 minutes before he even came by to get drink orders initially. The food, however, is quite good, and there's other stuff on the menu that I can't wait to try.

Katy O.

Yelp
Such a beautiful patio area with great drinks and different kind of food. Great food and good service
google avatar

Dennis D.

Yelp
Had the deviled eggs and a pasty stuffed with mushrooms and potatoes. Yummy As the Crow Flies, a bluegrass band, played and was exceptional. Very crowded so the service was slow. But I was drinking a surprisingly tasty Sierra Nevada IPA N/A and was in no hurry.
google avatar

Jo D.

Yelp
Consistently good food and good service. Great atmosphere! Love the perch, burger, salads... never had a meal I didn't like.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
The best thing about this place is the ambience. I've been here many times for the music and the atmosphere, but the food is below average. The service is literally the worst I've received in St. Louis. There have been a few exceptions where we received cheerful and efficient service. But have had everything from rude and inefficient to rude but efficient to very nice but inefficient.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
It was my second visit tonight and while the atmosphere and service were great, I wish we would have gotten a little more bang for our buck with the food and drink. The cocktails were just okay and in small glasses with lots of ice. Poutine was tasty but needed way more cheese! Most bites were just gravy fries. After tip we paid around $50 for what's pictured so they are clearly making a killing. I would probably go back here for drinks only in the summer time when you can enjoy the patio or rooftop and stick to the spritzes! - that's what I had last time and enjoyed it a lot more than the paloma.

Yelp
If you want a lively place with a great happy hour you want to go to Frisco! We had such a great meal and a great visit I forgot to get pictures of their adorable patio so I had to borrow one from their website. It's even cuter in person than the picture! We were seated immediately by a really nice hostess and our server was not far behind. He was so attentive and prompt with all of our drink needs and food. I wasn't ordering a meal this time so I ordered the Brie puff pastry. It's even better than it sounds. The pastry is perfectly prepared and flaky. Cherry and raspberry jam are added to the Brie to make a perfect dish! One of my friends had the French dip. It was enough for two meals and perfectly flavored she said. The fries and seasoned and crispy. (I may have stole a few!) our other friend had the potato pierogi and she had it was perfect. It was too hot for the patio last night but they have one of the best! We will definitely be adding Frisco barroom into our happy hour rotation!

Yelp
We were in the area and found this spot. GREAT vibe, excellent service (thanks Emily)! My wife's pasty was excellent, my burger was good, not great... lacked seasoning. Would definitely go again.
google avatar

Colton F.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Went with a party and got a few different things. First we tried the poutine and baked Brie puff pastry. Both were very good and able to satisfy a group of five. I ordered the smoked turkey club which was filling. They have a whole assortment of cocktails and beers to try as well as an array hot tea selections which was presented to us upon ordering. I'd recommend this place for a group looking to share appetizers as it seems they have a a variety of unique shareable food choices. Their service was great and the waiter was able to split up the appetizers evenly upon the bill which was nice. There was a parking lot in the back, so it was not a problem to find a space on a busy Saturday lunch outing.
google avatar

Ed T.

Yelp
The service is abominable, treating guests as if they are an interference to the performance of their tasks. The food is ok; the vibe is kind of nice. However, the people are the most self-consumed service personnel I have encountered in quite some time.

Yelp
This was my second visit to Frisco and it did not disappoint. Mick our server was in good spirits and is indeed as good at what he does as Mick Jagger is at singing. :) We were seated at a window seat which felt night as cozy and provided a good view of Webster. We ordered the Shaken Mint Lemonade and a Paloma. For a busy Sunday, the drinks came in a fair amount of time. Both were decent, but on the smaller side. We also had the bacon cheddar poutine and it was devoured. So good. Thick cubes of smoky bacon with melted cheddar cheese on fried and covered with brown gravy - a delectable dish! Highly recommend stopping in for a meal and incredibly nice service.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar. Ordered the meat and cheese board and it was probably the best one I have ever had. The pickled veggies, cherry preserves, bleu cheese and house made jerky .... Delightful. I was too excited to dig in before I took a picture. I'll be going back for that very soon and will update with a pic when I do.

Yelp
The waiters we had made great suggestions for dinner. Garlic shrimp was spectacular, salsiccia was delicious. We can't wait to imitate the rainbow trout. We'll be back

Yelp
The Friscon Barroom is very good. The outdoor patio seating is nice and the food is good. We tried the deviled eggs for an appetizer and they were good. The Frisco Poutine is good and the grilled kielbasa was delicious.
