Frisco BaseCamp Restaurant & Bar | Best Nepali Restaurant in Frisco

We visited this place on first of Jan, and boy oh boy.. we had the best new year’s celebration. The food was amazing, loved the veg Chowmein. And we were lucky enough to be there on a Thursday night…right in time for the Karaoke Night. Loved the atmosphere… staff is super cool and overall loved the experience.

I am so glad me and my husband found this place. Truly a gem!!!! Recently moved from Florida and we have tried so many places in the Dallas area. This place is number 1 on our list. The food is so DELICIOUS and flavorful we left speechless. Beautiful restaurant amazing service. The Nan is so delicious the fried rice was perfection. And we ordered a few other things and they were all a 10/10. Will be back soon!

The atmosphere and service were beyond amazing!! I couldn't get over the steamed chicken momos and I ended up having them again at this restaurant two days later :P Chicken Sekuwa plate wasn't my favorite but my husband loved it. The live music by some talented young guys added to the lovely atmosphere at this place.

First time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The veg Nepali thali and the kothe momos were top notch. And on top of that Ashis Sangrola, the live singer really amped up the atmosphere. Would definitely come here again.

We had a great experience at Frisco Base Camp. It was our first time trying Nepalese food, and the assorted momo was a perfect introduction. We also ordered a thali set, which was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Tried Frisco Basecamp today. Overall, food was decent. Ordered Veg Momos, Rajma Masala and Vegetable curry. The Veg Momos were real good. The Rajma Masala had good flavor. However, it could have used a little more gravy in there. The Vegetable Curry was interesting and decent. I was not expecting to see vegetables in there that you would normally see in asian vegetable stir fry dishes such as Chestnuts, Snap peas and baby corn. Felt like I was not eating an Indian dish. But flavor was definitely there.

This was my first time trying Nepalese cuisine, and it completely exceeded my expectations—it was absolutely delicious! I’m so grateful this restaurant brought such amazing food to Dallas. Even the young waitress was strikingly beautiful—what a wonderful place! I especially loved the thukpa; the mildly spicy flavor felt so comforting for my stomach. I’ve decided to come often in the winter—just imagine, on a cold day, enjoying a hot bowl of noodles and breaking a light sweat—what a pleasure!

Our trio went to try based on a recommendation and it was a unanimous… delicious. Nepalese cuisine with strong Indian influences. Lots of mutton and goat options but lots of vegetarian options too. Friendly staff with great recommendations. It’s worth a try if you like Indian spice flavors. The momo dumplings were fun.
