Yelp
New Food Hall in the gorgeous new lobby of the Old Post Office. The gold and glitter of the lobby is around you although the actual seating area in the food court is a bit plain.
Aimed at the business lunch crowd, but there's a bar so not a bad place to stop for a drink either.
They got a good initial line-up of food vendors--diner burger, fried chicken sandwiches, salads with protein, pho, a bakery, and italian deli.
The last spot is Tempesta--and it's the only name I recognized in here--well known for expensive but amazing sandwiches. But I had the fried chicken sandwich from a new place I tried called Hot Chi Chicken: absolutely bomb. Top tier.
There is free wifi from the Old Post Office guest network and there is some limited seating outside - but only about 10 tables. The original plan was that this expanded to include some riverfront, which is neglected at this spot, so I hope that does eventually happen.
