It deserves its high rating - everything was wonderful and shop employee was helpful in navigating all the choices - although I suspect he tried to steer us to "American" tastes. We found the prices very reasonable for the kinds of cheeses, I'm not sure what kinds of prices others are used to who think it is expensive. I suppose if one were buying a kilo of cheese or something. The hours are very peculiar, so pay attention to that. We wish we could have gone more often but the opening hours didn't always coincide with being in the area.

We visited this very cute fromagerie store where we bought some cheese gifts to take back to our family in Hungary. They were super kind, helpful and friendly with us and they were also recommended to us a very good restaurant where we had lunch. We are extremly recommend this nice little shop where the cheese selection are amazing and you can immediately feel the incroyable french cheese smell. We will definately would come back!!! As an american , be careful to not touch anything in the store. After dropping 50 euro I innocently lifted a price marker and was told :" please don't touch anything , we are not a grocery store".... made me feel angry and talked down to. There are other places that are not this snooty. Sorry , I am not a child. I left fuming being made to feel the Ugly American. No thanks

An amazing experience with very friendly and passionate staff. We were able to communicate what we were after and the amazing staff gave us fantastic recommendations. The reblochon here is the finest cheese I've ever had.
