Frostbites Crepes & Frozen Delights

The service was above and beyond, almost too much. We said it was our first visit and we're offered multiple samples, all delicious. Their soft serve (custard) is delicious and creamy. The apple pie cream cheese crepe, also delicious. I have not a negative word to say about our service or the treats. There was a weird smell -like a cleaning bucket that needed a refresh (I'm smell sensitive but I know that so I don't expect the world to revolve around it) but it wouldn't stop me from returning. Outside smelled strongly of propane and couldn't figure out why (like boiled eggs) But like I said, employees were kind, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and everything we tried was delicious.

easy parking, tasty menu. the customer service was superb, the people at the front really want you to know the vision for the flavors and offer so many combinations of samples that are creative and yummy! really appreciate the time they took to make recommendations based on what we liked. based on the reviews, it looks like this level of customer service is just their standard, which is awesome. enjoyed the final products we got!

I love this place ever since I found it. I've been coming here pretty consistently for the past couple months. One day my wife and I passed at least 10 different ice cream shops just to get here. My favorite so far is a cherry sorbet and vanilla custard. My wife gets whats called a Carmel Apple and the sorbet chill sodas are perfect for a hot day. Absolutely Amazing. Though, it does seem like a hot spot for college kids and it's a little annoying but regardless, it's worth it.

First time here at thos location on Magnolia in Riverside. The person taking care of us was Stephanie, and she was so awesome. She was very patient and kind, even though me and my family wanted to try a few different samples. You don't find excellent customer service like that too often anymore. Thank you Stephanie!...and the frozen sorbet is awesome - I especially liked the Sour Apple flavor. Me and my family are looking forward to coming back again soon

My first experience wasn't the best until I met Kristin... she definitely knows customer service! She is sweet and fast! Has an amazing attitude and vibe. She's friendly and has given me a whole different outlook. My daughter always asks for her whenever she comes here. 😊

The Italian ice and frozen custard dessert are a delightfully yummy combination! They give cute little free samples to taste the different flavors. My daughter got starburst flavor, which was vanilla custard with cherry and strawberry Italian ice, and it was bursting with flavor. I had blue raspberry and lemon with the vanilla custard and it was a good tart and sweet combo. The employees were all very kind and had great customer service! The only improvements were that the shop felt a little tired and needed some love and new paint.

One of the best, if not the best!! The soft serve custard is super delicious on its own and you get the privilege of choosing either vanilla, chocolate or swirl. And that’s just the beginning! They also have a variety of Italian ice flavors that change seasonally that you can incorporate with the custard!!! All the workers are super nice and helpful if it’s your first time and need help choosing or tasting the Italian ice to make a decision on what you want to get. They also have shakes. Ice tea and crepes! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything that you decide to get, the only problem is that everything is so good, it’s hard to decide on just one item!

I was there on Sunday. Nothing short of wonderfulness and goodness. My desert that I created with assistance was amazing! The service is excellent and I really, really enjoyed my treat!

Cherry and green apple Italian ice layered with vanilla custard smacked hard in the best way. Cold, creamy, sweet but not cloying. That texture hits--ice smooth like sorbet should be, custard thick like soft-serve dreams. The sweet crepe was hot off the griddle, crisp edges, soft middle, real buttery. They didn't hold back on the strawberries and bananas inside, all topped off with a solid drizzle of chocolate sauce. Savory crepe threw me off in a good way--crispy, buttery wrap stuffed with melty cheese, tender grilled chicken, fresh lettuce and tomato. Felt like biting into a hot sandwich with way more personality. Vegan sorbet chill worked too, surprisingly good for dairy-free. Clean, refreshing flavors, not watered down. Staff held it down even when it got packed. Chill spot with outdoor seats, spotless inside. Definitely one of those places you think about days after and start craving again.

A true Riverside classic! Year round spot for amazing frozen treats and crepes! The customer service here is amazing! Yes there is typically a line but that's because they care about every customer! The gal who helped us out had us try so many different combos and was so patient. You can tell management promotes a happy workplace because all employees have a smile and will make the experience different for every customer! The Italian ice and frozen custard are delicious - also their crepes are amazing. You know it's delicious when there's a line out the door during winter.

I love Frostbites! This location was in a busy strip mall, but it wasnt' too crowded when we went on a Sunday afternoon. There are tables/chairs inside and they had a good selection of regular ice cream too. The sales people were nice and put together some different ice and cream samples to try since I was a little indecisive. You can get just ice cream or soft serve without the ice.

Fresh ingredients, service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is ok , I suggest to get it to go , small sitting area .

Someone recommended this place to us so we decided to come by to try it out since the weather has been warming up. It was pretty packed at 4 pm and the line was getting longer while we were in line. The girl who helped us was so sweet and helpful. She let us try all the different flavors and helped us find the flavor we wanted. She made our first time visit a great one. We are now hooked and will be back to try out other flavors.

This is a must have , thank god I have one close to home. You will not be disappointed. The crêpes are delicious either savory or sweet. You can get just the Italian ice or Italian ice with frozen custard. Both are equally amazing . You can find fresh fruit and some of the flavors. The staff is always welcoming and very helpful. They will let you try anything you want and even make great suggestions. Oh, and bonus rainy days you get double points. i've been going here for years and I'm so grateful they stay open kinda late ,so I can even go after work sometimes.

After a Yelp event, a few friends and I came here for some Italian ice and custard based on the recommendation of my dear friend's daughter. Thank you my dear! The last time I had really delicious custard ice cream was at Confetti Italian Ice & Custard in Orange County. I didn't know Frostbites existed and they have custard ice cream, too. I am now on the hunt for other Frostbites locations LOL. Of course this was my first time here. Oh my, they are extremely busy on a Friday night. They are located near a college so it makes sense they have good foot traffic. There are some inside seating. There appears to be outside seating, too, but not 100% if they belong to Frostbites. This shop is slightly tight for the amount of foot traffic it gets. People were lining up outside the door. Luckily, they have a large staff to handle the volume of customers. The nice and friendly young lady who assisted us with our order was very knowledgeable on their Italian ice and premium frozen custard combinations. She was offering us free samples until we were ready to choose. Thank you Miss! Honestly, I don't even remember the flavors my eldest daugther and I got. They were both refreshingly yummy. I love the ice and custard combo... it was so very good! When we got to the cashier, my friend had already paid for all of us. Thank you so much my friend for the sweet treat! You are too kind. As for my return, definitely yes whenever I am in the Riverside area.

Don't forget to have the loyalty card stamp: My first time here , my friends and I came in at 8 pm at that hour the line was long but moved quickly, By 8:30 pm lines were out the door and passed other businesses near by. We were greeted by a friendly server name Bianca , she was awesome !!! She asked " have we been here before. ? With that being said , she made us some samples to try, all the while gathering information on what flavors we were looking into trying . I'm impressed with her speed and meticulously mixing different concoction for people in my group . Each of the staff behind the counter were excellent with their customer services as well. Considering how long the lines were, and how busy it was for the duration that we were there. None of the employees showed any signs of annoyance.. Bravo to each and everyone of the employees that day 8/10/2024 Saturday. You all deserve an award / raise for your friendly smiling service. Oh. Our ice gelato and ice cream were delicious too . Highly recommend! We live locally and had never been before. We usually drive out to the OC to Joe's or Rita's but we won't be doing that anymore. This is a little Riverside hidden gem. It was our first time and we came on a busy Friday night. Amanda helped us out and she was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us out, explained how to order, let us sample various flavor combos, and was super patient and ensured we were happy with our choices. Despite it being busy, she didn't rush us or push us through our order. There's tables inside and outside, and even have high chairs. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend!

Had the best experience at frostbites!!! The cashier, I want to say her name was Eva, went out of her way to help one out since it was my first time. So many great recommendations and samples. Now let me say, it was DELICIOUS. The custard to ice ratio was perfect. The place was easy to find with a lot of parking. When I walked into store it smelled so good and the menu was easy to understand. Definitely coming back!!

I came in with my family and this would be my second time so I haven't really tried much on the menu but we got to the front and a employee the entire time taking our order seemed uninterested rude and impatient because my wife and I were looking at the flavors because we wanted to try something new but anyways I order my son his ice cream we said chocolate but she gave us vanilla but anyways once I asked about a crepe she sounded annoyed that I didn't let her know I was done order ice cream so then I cancelled my crepe delight because after she responded annoyed she said it would be 15 mins so I said nvm got my ice cream other then that the ice cream was great

I love coming here when I have the change I used to go to the cypress location when I was little. The service is always amazing and friendly. I always get the sour apple with the Carmel with the custard. And the sweet lady recommended horchata Carmel and cinnamon powder with the custard to make it taste like a churro and it's so yummy. The inside is a bit cramped if your staying there longer but there is outside seating and if you are just taking out it should not be a issue service is always fast :)

I used to frequent this location during my college days and just recently had the opportunity to visit again. It was a very hot summer day so I was looking forward to some refreshing ice cream. The girl working was so friendly and even though I told her what I wanted, she asked if I've tried their seasonal flavors and when I said no, she went out of her way to give me samples. She gave me 3 samples and the combinations she gave me were so tasty. However I still went with my usual, which is the sour gummy worm. I took my little treat to go which was a bad idea because it was melting even though I tried to eat as fast as I could. I'll definitely come back again the next time I'm in Riverside!

This was my first time trying this Frostbites location . Prices have gone up since then. One of the employees confirmed that the sorbets are water based (vegan friendly) and that the ice cream are dairy based. I got the green apple and watermelon sorbets for $5.10 in a small cup. My friend got the taro, orange, and watermelon sorbets topped in vanilla ice cream. They give free samples and will gladly mix the sorbets for you on top of the ice cream. They also serve ice cream cakes, shakes, and crepes. They're located in a large lot with Michael's in it. They do not have a restroom but there is plenty of seating. People came and went quickly on a Sunday afternoon.

Just had a wonderful experience from Frostbites. Kristin welcomed us with a smile. Since we hadn't been there for several years, she gave us lots of samples and explained what each was, and how she could create a treat to taste like anything we could think of (Cactus Cooler, anyone?). My girls settled on their sorbet creams, both with lots of sorbets included. I decided on a savory crepe - a sandwich - and...listen. It was delicious. Kristin made it exactly how I wanted it. I shared with my girls and we were all very satisfied! We got a frequent customer card, and we will be coming back soon!

This is our favorite place to go my husband and I go at least once every other weekend to treat ourselves the staff is amazing very friendly very patient best place to take the whole family LOL my husband and I never get the normal sizes we are big and happy and we get the qourts or the pint size

Was craving something cold for this awful summer heat so I stopped by frostbites to satisfy that urge! This was my first time here and the awesome employee Kelly offered some samples that were popular and very yummy and gave her input on all these great combinations of flavors. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I don't remember all the flavor combos she put in there for me but man oh man was it very delicious! The ice cream was full of flavor and every bite I was in heaven. Every single flavor tasted great and at a very good price.

I made an order for crepes at 11:36 a.m. and the pickup time through the app stated 12:25 p.m. when I arrived to pick up the order the workers never checked their online orders and it was ridiculous. This is not the first time that I've dealt with this. Yes, the crepes are delicious and the ice cream, however they're very unprofessional. My current time is 2:00 p.m. and I'm still waiting for them to make my order.

Um wow I wasn't expecting these to be THAT good. The sorbet is vegan! So all my dairy-free peeps can still enjoy this spot with their fwiends. The base is a frozen soft serve custard (so not dairy free). My favorite part was trying all of the flavors and getting recommendations from the staff. She didn't rush us (despite the long line), and even offered us cool flavor combinations. We got a Captain Crunch combination one, and it was delicious!! They also have us a punch card. You get $4 off after 10 punches, and get double punches on rainy days. The restaurant is small and was super busy with a line out the door. As a result, the dining area was messy. There could have been an extra staff member cleaning off tables and picking up trash. Despite that, the vibe was still high and people were happy. I'll be back.

This place still opens at 10pm on Sunday Night! Definitely great place to get an ice cream. The concept itself is quite unique, You can get 1 or 2 scoop from as many flavor you wish! Gabby was assisting us and she is a real gem to this place. She generously shared testers combined ice cream that famously mixed and they all tasted good. This combined testers really superb idea as I become knowing what flavor I wish to have for my 2 scoops! Added there is Ice Cream Vanilla in between, shortly this got me more excited! I ended got sherbet ice cream and will be coming back for sure for another mix!

The wife and I love coming here! The best part is being able to sample as many flavors as we want, till we make the final decision! This time my wife got Salted Caramel with Coffee, with vanilla sorbet! After tasting the fruity flavors I got 6 different flavors! Blueberry, Mango, GREEN apple, Cherry and strawberry! With Sorbet! Such a good mix! The workers were nice and welcoming, we didn't feel as if they were rushing us to make a selection, we felt very welcomed. This place is located next to a Michael's, which is perfect for shopping right after! Overall a great experience and will continue to visit!

This is my absolute favorite crepe place, so I'm stopping in often. I ordered 3 crepes through DoorDash at 6:55 and was informed by the app that it would be ready at 7:13. I went in around 7:15 and asked if they had an order ready under Corina for DoorDash and some girl with blue eyelashes replied that she was making it --I was not upset at all because the app isn't reliable, and they were extremely busy, so I left to get gas. I get back here at 7:35, only to be told that it's STILL not done and that it would be another 15 minutes! I'm pretty patient for the most part, but waiting an hour for 3 crepes is ridiculous :(

Frostbites Frozen Delights came in clutch on Sunday night! :) I was craving something sweet after having dinner with a friend. Frostbites Frozen Delights is open late, so it worked out perfectly. Plus one of my friends lives about 10 minutes away from this location. So it was convenient to stop as well. When I entered the ice cream shop, I realized that I wasn't the only one wanting something sweet lol This place had a line going out the door! Craziness. But also a good sign. I figured it would be worth the wait. I ordered a crepe with chocolate, strawberries and powdered sugar. It was yummy! I also got a hot chocolate to wash it down. Sweet with sweet lol

Samples were amazing!! The service was amazing as well! The lady who serviced us was amazing and gave us a good recommendation "The Cinnamon Toast Crunch" type flavor. The place felt warm for a place you'd think be cold but nonetheless I'd give it a full rating.

What a fun experience! The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They really do their job well and it's expressed that they enjoy what they do. The environment is fun and happy while everyone is trying to figure out which flavors they want. Once it's your turn they really take care of you and create flavor profiles to your liking. We really enjoyed our first experience here and the flavors compliment so well. Enjoying these little cups of refreshing frozen treats will leave you in complete bliss.

It was a hot summer day and we decided to check this place out. This place was amazing. The customer service was perfection. It was our first time here and they were providing all various combinations to try. They were friendly and allowed all the time we wanted to try and figure out what combination to do. We ended up doing the ube, strawberry, passion fruit with the soft serve at the bottom. I would definitely come back here because the employees here were so kind and very helpful!

First timer here and it was sooo good! It was so refreshing to have on a hot summer day. Walking in the place was clean and cool. The customer service made my experience so much better... I wasn't able to catch the employers name, but she was super sweet and gave my family and I lots of samples to try. Definitely recommend coming to this place if you're craving something sweet and refreshing.

I remember going to the Cypress location and it was just freakin delightful. Had to pay hommage to the original location, Riverside. Here was my experience. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking, the area can get pretty busy. Seating: Plently of seating from indoors to outdoors. Great for groups or pairs. Feels: It's off a pretty busy street with plenty of restaurants and shops. This is next to a Michael's Arts and Crafts store and other eateries. It's a pretty good spacious area that's relatively clean. Great for a grab and go or if you want to take a quick breather and hangout. FOOD: Vanilla Custard w/ Green Apple and Blueberry Lemonade (Recommend) I never had a beautiful mix. Frozen custard - soft, puffy, and creamy with a nice vanilla delivery to it. This was also my first Italian ice experience which was grate. The ice was condensed and the green apple lemonade brought a sour/sweet kick it. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Awesome. Friendly people and professional delivery. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Reasonable prices, great selections, and delicious flavor. This is not your usual ice cream truck type of delight. A lovely mix of frozen custard and Italian ice. For something cool and refreshing, you can't go wrong with this spot! TIPS: * OG location!

First time trying it here with my girlfriend she suggested it because she said as a kid she would always go to this place but the one in chino but that place closed down so we decided to come here and I got the peanut butter coffee salted caramel cream sorbet and it was pretty good very creamy and I love the texture my girlfriend said it was good she got the coconut mango! Definitely a must go to! Inside is kinda small though and lines are bit long but still worth it!

I've been coming here for years! I love this place and I bring all my friends and family to try it! There's nothing that compares to this ice cream! The flavors and so creative and delicious, the sorbets are made fresh daily! As soon as you get it the counter they ask if you've been there before, if you haven't they have you sample some of their favorite creations. They have flavor mixes that taste like a jolly rancher, gummy worms, white gummy bears, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and so much more! Also their crepes that they make French to order are super soft and delicious! Love love love this place!
