Highlights

We specialise in fine cheese, wine and craft beer. We stock a range of cheeses from the UK and Europe and specialise in finding cheese from smaller, independent dairies. We have a similar philosophy on beer and wine and seek out lesser known beers, ales and wine from the UK and Europe. As well as this we welcome you to sit in and enjoy our renowned cheeseboards and toasties or coffee by Climpson & Sons and pastries by Aura Rosa. We also deliver cheese and beer to anywhere in the UK.

"Walthamstow Village matriarch Froth & Rind is a coffee and cheese shop that keeps locals fuelled with a comforting combination of caffeinated beverages, blooming wheels of Baron Bigod, and gooey toasties. On weekdays there’s a sleepy, familiar vibe with locals tapping away at laptops and pouring over newspapers. But on weekends it’s where people who vaguely know each other from the school run shout their “hellos” and oozing toasties—filled with a hangover-curing combination of cheddar, chorizo, onion chutney, and chilli jam—are handed out to bleary-eyed sunglass-wearers. Whether you’re hammering out a work assignment and need an emergency bacon sandwich because you didn’t eat breakfast, or you had one too many piña colada slushies the night before—like every good matriarch, Froth & Rind has got you." - Sinéad Cranna

"This bright blue storefront opened in Walthamstow Village in 2015, after stints at local markets and pop-ups. As the name suggests, Froth and Rind teams British artisan cheeses and some European guests with craft beer — kegged, canned, bottled and casked, courtesy of Beavertown and other local breweries. Working with a variety of producers, from established names to smaller, independent dairies, the shop loves to showcase distinctive British cheeses, including Baron Bigod — the U.K.’s only raw unpasteurised brie. Aside from locally-sourced cakes, pastries and coffee, the cafe serves cheese and charcuterie boards, snacks and cheese toasties — sandwich specials like ‘The Scorchio’ with raclette, peri peri olives, habañeros and lime jam, are not to be missed." - Daria Kyrilova

Lovely place for a bite to eat. We took a table outside on Orford Rd and had cheese toasties and beer in the sun. Quite pricey in one sense, but actually aroun £5 each for a plate of food is pretty reasonable. Great choice and lovely flavours. __________ We went again today - goats cheese and chilli jam with drinks and cake for three. Delicious. We will miss this place when it's gone...

Overall ok, we had 3 toasts and a flat white. They all took forever to be made which was the downside of the experience. The taste was ok. We asked the waiter to wipe the table as it was full of crumbs and he literally just threw them on our laps and said "all done". £6.50 for one toast. Tables are both inside and outside. Toilet was fairly clean, shared.

A nice little coffee shop in Walthamstow Village that serves great coffee and a variety of different toasties. They have amazing cakes; I had the carrot cake which was delicious... They also display pictures that are for sale at the back.

There were too many kids in this place to enjoy the time there. I don't hate children but when they are screaming in every single direction around you it's hard to think straight. Very friendly staff and nice coffee. I'm not a big cheese fan so the rest of the menu is hard for me to evaluate. :)

It’s kind of a lost identity inside, it looks more like a second world war, general store with cafe type tables and chairs, a wide selection of ‘stuff’ to buy and about 6 baristas and yet it still took about 15minutes to get our order. Maybe we didn’t look local enough! But eventually we did get the drinks and… The cups were a standard size and the coffee was a standard taste.

I've lived in the area since 2013 but only discovered this great little shop recently. I love good quality strong flavoured British cheese and this place sells some fabulous examples. Check out the Isle of Wight blue and Somerset solstice varieties. I was in cheese heaven! Highly recommended. Will be back. Frequently!

Great selection of delicious cheese toasties and often look forward to the daily special. Great selection of drinks, the regular coffees and iced teas. Delicious chunky chocolate chip cookies on sale too. Decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Great baby change facilities, not your typical board over a toilet seat situation. Top marks for that.
