Belmont undergrads and neighborhood parents sporting the latest Bugaboo all come here for rosemary honey and golden monkey lattes that seem to taste 15% better underneath the shade tree on the front lawn. "A 12 South institution since 2004, Frothy Monkey has attracted neighbors, college students, and business types for its house-roasted coffees. You’ll find all of the usual coffee suspects there (lattes, espressos, drip coffee) along with one of its signature concoctions, the Golden Monkey Latte with espresso, steamed turmeric milk, honey, and cinnamon.
