"If you’re the type of person who sprinkles salt on their food, pauses, then sprinkles more for good measure, you’ll be a fan of Fuku. Everything at this David Chang mini-chain is aggressively seasoned. Try the dark-meat O.G. fried chicken sandwich that comes drenched in gochujang mayo, and don’t skip the waffle fries dusted with sweet jalapeño seasoning. We like dunking them in spicy cheese sauce, which is basically what you get at a baseball game when you order nachos. Breakfast sandwiches (made with a kimchi and anchovy sauce) are served all day, and the best non-sandwich things are the garlicky wings with a gochujang dry rub. Fuku is a fast food spot, and there are only three stools at this Rockefeller Center outpost, so don’t plan any team lunches here." - Kenny Yang

Fuku at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC offers a delicious escape into the world of elevated fast food. Known for its exceptional fried chicken, Fuku transforms the quick meal experience into something extraordinary. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant, modern ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. This culinary marvel features a perfectly crispy chicken fillet, seasoned to perfection with a blend of spices that deliver just the right amount of heat. Complemented by crunchy pickles and a soft, buttery bun, every bite is a symphony of flavors and textures. For those who prefer a milder option, the Sweet & Spicy Chicken Tenders offer a delightful balance of savory and sweet. Vegetarian options, like the crispy Tofu Sandwich, ensure that there's something for everyone. The sides are equally impressive, with the seasoned waffle fries standing out as a fan favorite. Pair your meal with one of their refreshing house-made drinks for the perfect finish. Located in the bustling heart of Rockefeller Plaza, Fuku provides a quick yet satisfying meal that doesn't compromise on quality. Whether you're on a lunch break or exploring the city, a visit to Fuku promises a fast food experience elevated to gourmet heights. Lastly, the music… sick choices from the hip hop genre! Keep it going!

I saw a review of FUKU a couple of months back and saved it in Google maps as I am a literal chicken head and had to try this spot. Happened to be randomly cutting through the catacombs under Rock Center today and came across the fuku shop located near the entrance to Top of the Rock. Now as a NY'r I would never come this way as it's bonafide tourist trap so I was surprised when the halls were practically empty and FUKU was LINE FREE!! OMG!!!! I promptly popped in perused the menu and grabbed a sweet and spicy chicken sando and was pleasantly surprised at the taste, freshness, and hardiness of the sandwich. The bun was super fresh which and the sandwich wasn't overly saturated sauce which made it a perfect balanced combination I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied for the day by 11:45AM!!! Will definitely pop in again to try another sandwich or will I get the same one? Hmmmmmm

Amazing Food, Amazing Service, Amazing Atmosphere. Spicy food is a requirement in my life. Fuku has now been added to my Takeout NyC list. My favorite is the chicken bacon ranch. I heard the cashier say “CBR sando”. I just love their nicknames for their menu items. I can’t wait to try the knockout sando. Hope it doesn’t knock me out 😂. Now I’m excited about these loaded fries. Those fries were “bussing bussing”.💥 I think that’s slang my nephew use when food is really good. They had the shortest cutest little manager there that was nice enough to pack my order nice and neat for takeout. I’m excited about my next visit.

I really want to write a positive review, because the food is excellent, but I find it difficult to do so in good conscience. While the food is probably some of the best fast food fried chicken you will find, the combination of exorbitant pricing (even when location is taken into account) and poor and slow service makes this a fairly unattractive option. For example, yesterday, there was a line with about 20 people. I have no problem waiting, understanding it will take time to get through orders. However, during that 20 minutes, there were only 3 people waiting for orders and only 1 additional order was taken. None of the 3 got their orders. I decided to go elsewhere because I needed to get back to work. Several times, I have also been charged for upgrades and not received them (sweet and spicy chicken on the dirty fries being the most common, while only receiving the regular chicken, which is a cheaper upgrade). If speed and service get better, I will be happy to amend my review in the future and provide more stars, because this place has the potential to be so much better.

This sandwich isn't better than other fast food chicken sandwiches. It's a little dry and a lot pricey. But it's definitely not the worst sandwich I've ever had.

Came here for the first time for their free sando promo. Soo was very nice, helpful and recommended a good tea for me based on my preferences. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Chrystal, Jayden and Ms.Gail were excellent and their hospitality was off the chain. It was closing time and they treated me with patience and my food was on point. It’s way better than Popeyes!
