Izakaya Ryu

This is a 5 by definition. Wonderful Authentic Ramen and side dishes prepared perfectly. I tried a bowl called The Red Dragon. When I got excited about choosing a spice level of 3 out of 4 I was warned by my waitress to step down if it was my first time. Dropped to 2 and it was just right for me. The noodles were a perfect consistency and texture and the pork was incredibly tender. Will 100% return and recommend.

4/5 Stars: Great Happy Hour Value, But More of a Ramen Spot than a True Izakaya I've visited this spot twice for Happy Hour and found the value to be excellent. The fact that they offer their Happy Hour seven days a week is a huge win. There's a curious discrepancy: the name "Izakaya Ryu" is not visible on the outside or on staff uniforms, where "Fukuryu Ramen" is displayed instead. This confusion extends slightly to the menu. While the food quality is decent, the limited selection of small plates and drinks doesn't fully capture the spirit of a traditional izakaya, which typically offers dishes like shishamo, tempura, sashimi to pair with a wide range of drinks; but least the have some yakitori selections - they call it "Binchotan" (but I doubt they actually use real Binchotan charcoal or any charcoal at all). I was also surprised they didn't know what a "highball" (whisky soda) was. However, the prices are very affordable, which seems to draw a crowd of local and Asian students, suggesting an authentic taste experience. The low prices make it easy to overlook the limited menu. The convenience of nearby parking is a nice bonus. With just a few simple additions to the menu, this place could easily earn a five-star rating.

Nice spot right off campus. Decent bit of outdoor seating. Food was good as was the service. Tried the new skewers after the rebrand from Fukuyu to Izakaya. They were pretty good, with lemon and a spicy jalapeno paste. Only concern is they were a bit pricy for how little you got but ah well. Ramen was on point, kinda sweet pork.

"Good" doesn't even begin to describe it. This place is FANTASTIC. I've tried several menu items now and not a single one has let me down. The ramen is king here though. The broth is out of this world, the noodles are the perfect texture and the toppings are just as flavorful as the rest of the dish. I brought my picky children with me and even they were wowed, one of them said it was the best restaurant they'd ever been to. I've never seen them demolish a meal that size before. The prices are extremely reasonable for the VERY generous portions. Definitely going to be a regular spot for me any time I crave Japanese food.

Came in Sunday evening for dinner with a friend. At first I was immediately impressed by the overall decor and vibe, giving authentic izakaya. The menus are authentic feeling as well and straight forward. Unfortunately the service and food were lackluster. The beef tongue was very dry and chewy and the presentation was kinda neat but not worth trading for quality and flavor. They started breaking down the restaurant at 730, closed most of the kitchen, only had 1 cocktail available from their list and started sweeping and putting chairs up on the tables behind us as we were still eating. We were not the last people in the restaurant. Overall this place is fine for some quick yakitori if you're really craving it, the pork belly was good. Some bbq for the yakitori would go a long way!

Fukuryu has been my go-to ramen joint for 3 years. Today, they may have ruined it for me. My wife and I have always got the vegetarian ramen. Today we got it and the broth looked like milk instead of miso soup. It smelled weird and tasted wrong. We will probably never eat here again because of this. EDIT: I called Fukuryu and was told they spontaneously switched to a vegan-Tonkotsu-styled broth for the vegan and vegetarian ramen. I got a full refund for my order, so I've increased my review purely for customer service. I still will not eat here anymore until the vegan miso is available again. EDIT 2: Fukuryu responded to my review and I feel even worse now. They clearly didn't read where I said the new broth did not taste good. I'm not expecting you guys to change it back because of me, but don't make it feel like you just ignored what I wrote.

I haven't been here in a while due to eating it everyday. Today, I was wow by the new remodel of the restaurant after being away for some months. Trinity was super awesome along with the other staff members. The food is great as always.

This place USED to be so good. I’d order here at least three times a month. At some point within the last year, they changed the broth they use for the vegetarian/vegan ramen. It’s not very good and lacks flavor. Sometimes the staff forget to add your spice level. I recommend going to Hiro Ramen in Dublin/Upper Arlington. It’s WAY better (and about the same price).

We got in quick, and they were friendly with helpful recommendations. Delicious food and good ambiance. We left with full bellies and can't wait to be back in town to try more of their menu!

This is the first place I take any new-comers to experience good ramen. This place is amazing, and the folk that run it make it look easy considering how busy they get.

The food tasted alright. We tried shoyu ramen 3/5, tonkotsu ramen 3/5, Japanese fried chicken 3/5, chili crisp cukes (2/5). I thought the cucumbers would marinated but it's literally cut up cucumbers with chili flakes. Service was nice and friendly. The ambiance was a nice inside, nothing bad to say but also nothing special. The outside was a bit too busy and it was hard to get parking and it wasn't even a weekend or Friday night so I'm not sure we'll be back unless we have to.

Love this restaurant! Came around 8 on a Friday and we were able to snag the last table. The service is always fast and efficient, but not overbearing. This time we wanted to try the chicken kaarage and the pork belly buns, so our server suggested we try the kaarage buns. So glad we did!! They were absolutely delicious and something I would get again. The spicy tonkatsu was great as always, but I do wish you could customize your spice level. Definitely the best ramen in the city! I love the small restaurant atmosphere, it really feels like everything is made fresh to order. Get your ramen here!

Ordered ramen to go on a rainy Saturday night. This was my first time eating grown up ramen so it's possible I don't love ramen like some people but overall I'd say it was okay. I got the chicken ramen (no spice) which comes with chicken broth and fried chicken. For me the highlight was the fried chicken and egg, both were cooked well (the chicken may have been slightly dry but it wasn't noticeable when soaked in broth) with a good crust on the chicken without being greasy. The noodles (and granted it was carry out) were clumped together despite eating within 15 minutes of pick up. And required some work to not be clumpy. The broth was ok but nothing great in my opinion- a little salty and chicken taste but little other flavors. That said, my friend who eats way more ramen than I do gets a spicy dish and loves this place!

We love going to Fukuryu ramen especially on a cold day. I love getting their miso ramen and gyoza. This is a Columbus staple!

I strongly take back my old review from 2016: "Absolutely delicious! This was my first time having ramen it it was even better than expected. The pork broth is amazing. We had the Signature Tonkotsu and the Chicken Kara-age and both were very good. For a fast casual restaurant the service was impeccable and the staff was very engaged and passionate about what they do. The atmosphere has a fun, hip, and vibrant. I definitely recommend eating here." Updated review: Both last Nov and this Nov we received poor experiences. Last Nov they made our takeout ramen dishes inedibly spicy (we ordered 'extra hot' temperature not spice level). This Nov the gift card they gave us due to that last bad experience would not swipe, and they made no attempt to find a way to check the balance or to manually enter it. This place is not what it was several years ago; It's tired, the staff lacks the enthusiasm, order accuracy is bad, and customer service is poor. Luckily, there's new ramen places to try around Columbus now so we never have to go back here!

The kimchi fries. Yum! The pork belly bun eh. The pork was so dry. Do not recommend.

Dirty tables, food was hot but overcooked and tough. We did not like the seasoning either but that's a personal preference.

Come here for the fiery buns! They are on the Summer '22 menu and they are incredible. Spicy, crunchy chicken drizzled in kewpie mayo all tucked into fresh steamed bao buns. Addictive. The spicy salmon rice bowl was not as successful. It was a big bowl of rice with some salmon and not much else. The menu indicated spring onions and shallots, but those were pretty skimpy in my bowl. I definitely would have enjoyed more toppings, and felt the dish was not worth the price. Ginger lemonade was very ginger-y. More spicy than sweet. Parking is available in the garage behind the restaurant, but that fills up quickly as it is shared with the hotel and several other restaurants. It has more of a quick lunch place vibe in my opinion, but they do sell several types of beer and sake.

I don't go here enough. I haven't had a better Shoyu Ramen in Columbus and the Gyoza slaps so hard! It really feels like a little ramen popup, and I honestly wish it was. It would be even better! As it is, the location isn't awesome, and the vibe is alright, but I'm there for the food so who cares :) Every time I eat a bowl I thank it for being a friend

I ordered (extra hot temperature) ramen from them about a year ago and it was so inedibly spicy I threw it out (and I love spicy food). They clearly messed the order up, mistaking temperature for spice level, so they mailed me a gift card as reimbursement. Tuesday evening, I went to The Lane location, ordered, and handed the gift card over to pay. It wouldn't swipe and the manager proceeded to have a meltdown about it. I explained where I got the card and why. He said he couldn't do anything about it since he had no proof of purchase and he wasn't going to "just give me free food". So I walked out without food. Ended up at Kyushu Ramen Bar on 5th and had a great experience.

Pretty Good, broth, noodles & chashu were delish. My chashu was cold, so not 5 stars. clean fast pleasant experience.

I enjoyed lunch here a lot! It's a no-fuss casual spot where you order at the counter. Great ramen offerings and their spice levels are no joke! I got the miso ramen spicy 2 out of 3 and it was delicious. Definitely could feel it in my stomach haha. Next time I'll try the red dragon which is spicy but has a creaminess to it that the miso ramen does not. The noodles are perfectly cooked. Not too soft not too hard. Good buoyancy lol. Overall presentation is nice too! Noodle dishes are the star here. Tried two apps as well. The kimchi fries had great flavor, but with all the sauces and toppings the fries get a little soggy. The fried chicken appetizer was tasty - but there were quite a few pieces with breading only. Overall I'd definitely come back for ramen. Good value and service.

Fukuryu Ramen offers an array of ramen, curry and various other Asian style dishes. The broth boasts dynamic flavor and pleasing consistency. The staff was very friendly!

The signature tonkotsu with 2 chilli was the best ramen I have ever had. The broth was rich in so much flavor and the pork was phenomenal. The service was great and didn't have to wait long for my food which is great. I would recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

Good, authentic ramen - good pricing and portions. Fast, friendly service. They also donated to a local cultural event for our school which was very kind - love to support businesses who support the local community!

I visited Fukuryu Ramen for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience! Since it was my first time visiting, I had some trouble deciding what to order. The employee working the register was very helpful in explaining the menu and helping us decide what to order based on what we like. We both decided on the Red Dragon ramen level 2, and I got panko chicken with mine. I love spicy food, and this level 2 was no joke! My mouth was slightly on fire in the best way possible! I think level 3 would have been too much for me. The broth had excellent flavor, the chicken was perfectly crispy, and I loved the egg that came with it. The only thing I will say is I would have liked there to be more veggie toppings in the bowl such as mushrooms and corn, but you do have the option of paying extra to add those so next time I will try that! I can't wait to return for more delicious ramen bowls!

The service was great the staff was very nice. I think the fast casual set up was convenient but took away from an authentic ramen experience. The ramen itself was not good. The vegetable broth had a weird flavor and the noodles were unlike ramen i have had before may have been undercooked almost but was just not up to par disappointment at best. Will be looking for a different local ramen spot.

Fukuryu Ramen has a casual and relaxed atmosphere, making it a good spot to pop in for a quick meal. They have a decent selection of ramen to choose from, but nothing that particularly stands out. I ordered their signature tonkotsu ramen, and while it was decent, I wasn't blown away. It didn't quite hit the spot for me, and I've had better ramen elsewhere. Overall, if you're craving some ramen and happen to be in the area, Fukuryu Ramen is worth checking out. However, if you're looking for the best ramen in town, you might want to keep looking.

Came here for restaurant week on a Monday! There is parking in the lot across the street. The menu was ramen, an appetizer, and a dessert for $20. It was a good deal. We walked in around 7:20 and were able to order right away. The food came out quickly. We didn't realized that they closed at 8 so we felt rushed and thought that was early. The workers were nice about it and let us take our dessert to go. I thought the ramen was good but kinda average. The portion was filling. I really enjoyed the appetizer I got. They were poke nachos and I thought they were tasty. I really enjoyed the wonton chips. The dessert was a packaged ice cream since we got it to go. I thought the fish was fun and was a good part of restaurant week. Overall, the food was good but nothing too special

Top-notch vegan ramen that is really thoughtfully crafted and good value. Coming from Vancouver, BC, where (vegan) ramen is plentiful and top-notch, I'm often wary about trying it elsewhere. But this exceeded expectations big time. I visited for lunch. You order up at the counter, and they bring out your order. I ordered: -Fukuryu Salad ($7.50 plus tax; vegan) -- frankly, a really nicely done salad. You get various kinds of lettuce, including kale, green cabbage, romaine, and maybe some iceberg, along with cherry tomatoes, and crunchy noodles as a garnish, with a sweet salad dressing that works very well. Really great salad. 5/5 -Vegan Ramen ($15 plus tax) -- this was a very generous portion, coming with perfectly cooked and plentiful noodles, slightly sweetened and spiced marinated tofu, wakame (seaweed), corn, shredded bamboo shoots, and green onion. Of course, what makes or breaks ramen is the broth, and the broth was very miso-dominant, with a great, salty, umami character with lots of depth. I savoured every spoonful. Excellent. 5/5 Both items came out in under 10 minutes. Service was solid. The place itself was very comfortable and chill. Loved everything about the place. Highly recommended.

Best ramen in Columbus! Incredibly flavorful and super filling. The space is a little small but I've always been able to grab a table for 2. Park across the street! Spice level here is no joke.

We ordered through Uber Eats the JFC rice bowl for $16.99 and we got a bowl full of rice with 3 small pieces of chicken!

Unimpressed. Disappointed. Overhyped. I was SO excited to finally get to Fukuryu Ramen. I've seen the lines out the door onto the sidewalk by Lane Avenue. Read the glowing reviews on Yelp. Yea, 'uh, 'er, well... it wasn't so great. Downright disappointing. I won't be in a hurry to return. Probably won't ever return. Got the SIGNATURE TONKOTSU. It was, well, ok. Granted we were the last order of the night before they closed the kitchen, but the noodles had been cooked some time earlier and left sitting in a bowl like a birds nest drying out. That's downright lazy for a place that specializes in ramen. The broth was fine, ok, but nothing special. Disappointing. Also got the chicken gyoza. They were relatively flavorless, and the portion size was small for the price. And I'm not accustomed to being served straight full-salt soy sauce with gyoza. The pureed jalapeno was interesting, but gyoza isn't usually served with straight soy sauce. Disappointing. Tensuke Express's ramen is exceptionally better. Immeasurably better. And their prices are about 1/3 lower than Fukuryu Ramen. Go there instead. There was absolutely nothing about Fukuryu Ramen that makes me want to return. Overpriced, dried out noodles, wrong sauce, underflavored. Did I mention it was disappointing?

Got the red dragon ramen. Spice level 2. Love spicy food and this is the highest level I would go before you feel the pain. Even 2 was at the top of my spice tolerance. Very good flavors. Would come back and get spice level 1 next time lol.

I wanna start by saying I live near so many Ramen places, I went in expecting this place to be average. Having said that, it didn't disappoint and was just that. My daughters and I shared and I must say the Pork Belly Rice was legit. In fact so good, we grabbed 2 more orders for the road before heading back to Jersey. Shout out to the guy recommending the Creme Sake. While checking out the bottle this guy was like, "it's the best Sake I've ever had." Agreed, it was very tasty. Gotta shake it up well and it's flavorful. That brings the likes to a close and the rest of the items weren't anything special. Love Karaage and these pieces were tough and lacked flavor. Almost tasted like frozen chicken pieces. Wanted Pork Buns and they gave me chicken. Didn't make a big stink out of it, but another dry piece of chicken. The shrimp itself was tasty, way too many sauces in the bowl tho. Seemed like they are trying to cover a bad taste with 3 other bad taste. Like I said, I wasn't expecting it to be better then our favorite Ramen place back home, but it wasn't so bad that it was disappointing.

This is one of those places that asks for a generous tip before being served your meal, but then it's self service. The pork belly bun was delicious , but the ramen was terrible compared to other ramen restaurants. The staff was friendly.

Ramen is in the eye of the beholder, and this eye has beheld some pretty great ramen in recent memory. Sadly, Fukuryu doesn't really measure up in terms of taste or value. Maybe it's one of the better ones in Columbus, so if you're stuck locally it's a decent option. Came here with my girlfriend and her sister. We looked at the posted menu and picked what we thought were decent options. Not sure where she got it from, though there was a coupon for free fried rice with any purchase my girlfriend had which was a nice bonus. The service was good, no complaints there, though it was hard to understand him with both a mask and soft-spoken manner. Once we placed our order at the counter, we found a booth and talked among ourselves while we waited. The food took a while to come out, though it looked quite appetizing when it finally arrived. Ultimately, it was a little disappointing in its blandness, without much flavor or heat to speak of. Many of the broth flavors didn't seem to have infused into the meat, which seems to indicate that they don't cook it for as long as other places do. This was a bit of a let-down, though to be clear the food was still okay, just not that great. I would probably not return here, as there are some other local ramen spots I would like to give a try to get a better feel for the local best. That said, you could do worse than here. Overall: 3.0 stars ---- Pros: - Polite (if hard to hear) service. - Attractive interior. - Easy parking across the street. Cons: - Food is relatively bland. - Value isn't where it should be, pretty pricey for what you get.

I ordered the Tam Tam Ramen which had such tender pork and a perfectly cooked egg. The food was served quickly to our table and was overall delicious.

Fukuryu Ramen is a really cool place to eat if you want Japanese-style Ramen. The food was very good and cheap from other Ramen shops and they even have another food option aside from Ramen. The staff was super friendly, and everything felt authentic! I truly felt as if I had stepped into a ramen shop off the streets of Japan. The food was very good and the service was quick. I highly recommend stopping by to grab a bite to eat.

I have been getting Fukuryu for years, always getting the vegan ramen. Recently, I noticed my bowl came with the gluten free, gelatinous type noodles instead of the usual delicious wheat noodles. When I called to see what had happened, they said the regular noodles are made with egg, even though it does not indicate this on the allergen menu; and no where on the vegan bowl description does it mention the noodles will be different. In fact, when ordering online there is still an option to swap out for gluten free noodles when ordering the vegan bowl, so it is very unclear. I have been very disappointed in this change and the fact that I can no longer enjoy my favorite ramen place.

If you're looking for something spicy and cozy on a cold rain day, I definitely recommend the red dragon ramen from Fukuryu. I ordered mine on door dash since I feeling stuffed up from my sinus infection and what do you know.. made me feel 10x better! They package their food really well when you order to go, btw. I've been in store before as well and it's always a great experience! I usually opt for ordering the Red dragon with Level One spice (trust me.. it's spicy, and that's coming from someone who loves the heat!) I also pay extra to have the panko chicken added in and one extra half of an egg. It's seriously SO good! One of the best ramen places around that's worth the price.

Fun place good Ramen! We were traveling and kiddo wanted to try "real" ramen. We had good bowls and the fried chicken appetizer.

I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time now, I'm glad I did. This place was delicious. The menu is pretty easy to understand, and you order before sitting down. There are quite a few different options and styles of ramen as well as rice bowls and salads. If you have any questions, the staff was super helpful with explaining. There is a selection of sakes to choose from, beer and Japanese style cocktails. For the under 21 crowd there are Japanese drinks, as well as tea, lemonade and soft drinks. This isn't anything like the store bought ramen cups or top ramen packets, this is the real deal. You think you've had ramen until you come here to realize everything you knew was a lie. The flavors were so well developed and rich, the toppings were fresh and paired perfectly. I had the tonkotsu, it is a thick ramen with pork belly, bamboo, and wood ear mushrooms. The amount of toppings was very generous. I was really impressed by this dish. I also appreciated that on the tables there was chili paste and other seasoning for those of us who like a little heat. I will say I wasn't too fond of the desserts but if you're feeling adventurous and love matcha, give them a try. I definitely want to come back in the near future to try out more of the menu. If you're looking for something new and different to eat, definitely give Fukuryu a chance.

I'm going to be honest and say that I'm a hopeless ramen-tic. Ramen will always and forever be my go-to meal when I'm feeling extra hangry, social, or lazy. It's the dish that I always crave when I'm in need of a warm bowl of comfort. It's the dish that screams "home away from home" during the winter months. And Fukuryu knows how to provide. Great service. Great food. What more could you ask for? The bowl that brings me back every time is the Red Dragon. I'm not a novice when it comes to spicy dishes, so I naturally have to order it at a level three. Flavorful, slurpable, 'grammable. It's all you need and more in life.

My family loves this place!!! Red dragon all the way. Get level 3 if you like to cry. I always order an extra side of noodles. The service is always amazing and the place is extremely clean. 10 out of 10!!!

Fukuryu Ramen is a good place for ramen, but overall could use some improvements. I've been to this location and the Dublin one multiple times and thought I'd finally sit down and write a review. I've had their tonkotsu, miso, and red dragon ramens. The ramen itself is alright. For those who like a chewier noodle (in a good way), their noodles definitely hit the spot. However, the broth is much too greasy for my taste. Generally I don't like to feel weighed down after eating a bowl of ramen and their broth definitely does that to me. The toppings are generally excellent, with the marinated egg being my favorite. If you really like spicy food, I do recommend the red dragon. I've also had other items like the JFC and pork belly rice. Nothing special, especially since the fried chicken did not have the characteristic crisp of those I've had in Japan. I do like the decor and vibe of the place, so I'll still come back and hopefully order other less greasy items. Price point is also fair given it's Columbus and there aren't many ramen places, but I still wish it was cheaper. Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5

Yummmmm this ramen is delicious! And whether you're a tofu fan or not oh em gee get the tofu!! I loved this place the only reason not 5 stars is it's pretty expensive. Not break the bank but to get a beef or chicken broth bowl with tofu instead of meat it's about $15. Date night with 2 of those and anything else is a bit too pricey for a non fancy sit down. Still loved it and would def recommend!

This restaurant is not good. I don't know why it has good reviews. They charge you a lot for ramen only to give you 2 very thin pieces of meat. I then tried to give the place another chance and got a rice bowl that was $14 and it was not good. It was literally plain white rice with plain fried chicken with a small inadequate side of white sauce. I would have ordered more sauce but I got it as an u er eats order and their description said "plenty of sauce". Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else.

You can never go wrong with ramen. The broth was rich in flavor, which is the base of all good ramen. The service was good and attentive.

If you love hot and spicy Ramen, this is the place for you! It's OK, they have non-spicy food as well. But I often find it hard to get something that is truly hot and spicy. They've got a dragon Ramen that really challenges your love for heat. Great service and great food!

I looked at the menu online and saw that I could build my own bowl of ramen that included a gluten free option. This really made me happy since I have been gluten free for 5+ years and normally it isn't a option. My friend and I get there and they have discontinued the build your own bowl but he made some substitution and offered me a choice. What I got was a bowl of water ish broth since they didn't have GF soy sauce to add to it. The only protein option was tofu. It was very bland as well. Needless to say, I didn't finish and spoke to them about how sad this made me. One of the shift managers said he would look into get GF soy sauce, although no refund was offered. The service was decent otherwise. My friend enjoyed her no GF ramen very much however.

Fukuryu is my favorite named restaurant in the Columbus area. It's pronounced "foo ker yoo." Please do not say "fuck her you." It's kinda embarrassing. Much more so if you're around a prudish woman. I always thought ramen was trash. It's not the same as the stuff you ate in the dorms. This is the authentic stuff. It's of a much better quality. Maybe it's not super authentic, but it's more like the real thing. It's made fresh. The noodles are traditionally made with eggs, but there's a vegan menu item with completely vegan noodles and tofu. It's about $11 and comes in a large bowl. The broth is just as good as the noodles. It can be adjusted by the seasonings on the table, some of which are very authentic. These go way beyond sriracha. It has some kind of red pepper flakes. These add some hot spice. I would say this is my favorite place to get ramen in Columbus. It has a rare vegan option. This isn't common to get at ramen restaurants.

Went there during the weekend, and tried out a few items, everything was so flavorful and tasty! My fav from the appetizer section has to be chicken gyoza & fried squid. I heard the lemonade is popular, so i ordered one too and let me tell you, they are def not lying, a refreshing cup of lemonade actually goes so well w/. Japanese food!! Entree-wise, my fav are the red dragon ramen & tempura shrimp bowl, if you like layers of flavors & a lil nice hot kick, you will not be disappointed w these 2 dishes. Overall, everything is worths the price, store looks nice & clean, staffs are friendly, large beverage selection(alcoholic & non-alcoholic) totally worth to try if you are craving some authentic Japanese food

I've always strayed away from ramen focused restaurants because it's hard to find vegetarian ramen broth. I just naturally block it out, assuming that my options will be severely limited. BUT!!!! Fukuryu Ramen is an exception. After looking at the menu my friend and I decided to make it a dinner date. We arrived about 5:30 and there was no line. We walked right up to the counter, explored the menu briefly, and placed our order. We got Takoyaki (Japanese style hush puppies), I ordered the Junk Ramen, and my friend got the Shoyu Ramen. We were then handed a buzzer, grabbed some waters, and then took a seat next to the window. The place was pretty full and a line began forming out the door. I instantly knew that I was really late to this ramen party. I can't believe it took me that long to try it. It wasn't long before our appetizer came out. The Takoyaki was super flavorful. It was also really warm and soft and chewy on the inside. It came drizzled with a savory sauce and was filled with octopus and veggies. They were like a punch in the mouth! I ate 2 and tapped out. They were so filling and I was ready for my ramen! When it arrived at the table, the amazing aroma engulfed me. I was so ready to dive in. Now, the Junk Ramen is soupless, which means there was no broth. It included fried tofu and a fried egg, cabbage, cheese, yuzu mayo, and crispy noodles. I added a good bit of the hot sauce that was on the table and went to town. I loved how the fried egg and mayo made somewhat of a pasta sauce. It caused the entire dish to be backed with flavor and made it so creamy. The tofu was also cooked perfectly. I honestly couldn't put it down, despite how full I was. I can one hundred percent say that I will be back here. I'll most likely stick with this dish because it was so freakin' good. However, they did have a couple different veggie friendly options that I'd be up for trying. I also loved how attentive the staff was and how quick my food came out of the kitchen. Thank you Fukuryu for turning me into a major ramen fan!

Lunch break today picked up the spicy red dragon. No idea what spice level they made it at but dang! It's spicy! It's soooooooo good!!!! Only half way done with my order and I already want to order more.
