FULL CITY ROOSTER Coffee Roasting Studio

First time here and it’s now one of my favorite coffee places in DFW! The vibe is so different, so much art pieces, art books, they have chalkboards around the room. The coffee was PERFECT, not too sweet and just the perfect amount of milk. The pastries were delicious. I got a peach one to share and after the first bite I was so mad that I was gonna share it. It was love at first sight. Definitely coming back for work and just to enjoy a good cup a coffee.

My favorite weekend ritual! This place has everything I love - incredible coffee, a warm and welcoming vibe. It's perfect for hanging out, making friends, or just soaking in the creative energy. The walls are filled with beautiful local art, and there’s usually a cute dog or two hanging around (which honestly makes everything even better). The whole staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, it really feels like a place where you’re known and cared for. I come here most weekends to get my focus time in, and it never disappoints. It feels like a little community hub where inspiration and great coffee go hand in hand!

Coolest coffee shop!! There is incredible art and pictures everywhere. Chalk boards and old school seating in the back. My latte with agave was amazing, and I’m usually pretty picky after working at a coffee shop. You can tell a lot of heart was put into this place. I’ll be back for sure!

FINALLY stopped here on my way to the Dallas Zoo and it made my soul happy!! The coffee was delicious and so were the pastries. I was in rush so I didn’t get to see the rest of the shop like the outside seating but I WILL be back for more.

Came for first time today. People were exceptionally friendly. Great space, lots of places to sit. Good coffee and pastries. Met and had a great deep talk with two customers. And they are giving out KYR red cards. My people!!

Sadly, I don’t have a photo to share but I’ll definitely update it soon when I get my next drink here. So real quick, the coffee at this place is just spectacular. I have never been disappointed, be it the pour over (think I have gotten Guatemalan) or a flat white or a latte, everything hits just perfect. It’s a little far for me so I don’t frequent Full City that often but if in need of a good coffee there are only 2 places that come to my mind. Full City and Houndstooth. But tbh Full City’s coffee is kinda unmatched so it tops every other places when it comes to coffee. Love what they roast here. The ambience is pretty chill as well. Highly recommend!!!

I came here a number of times while visiting family in the area and was charmed by how welcoming and friendly they were every time. It’s a wonderful little spot in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the iced coffee, lattes, and pastries and the bag of beans I bought makes a great brew at home. I look forward to coming back next time I’m in town!

Incredibly sweet baristas, pour over was not the best I have ever had. I would go back though to try their Vietnamese curry pastry and a different coffee option though

SUPER FRIENDLY! LOVE THE VIBE HERE! I felt like I was back home in LA but with that Texas hospitality and kindness. They sale their in house coffee beans. Locally Handmade pottery too! Tons of indoor/ outdoor / patio seating! I grabbed a pour over and it was spectacular! Free parking on the side. LGBTQ friendly (flag displayed out front) Cute neighborhood! Great staff!

Come for the coffee, but stay for the hospitality. Michael and his team are the nicest people you'll ever meet! If you want to feel part of a community where all is accepted, this is the place to be. Also, check out the back room! You never know what amazing artwork you'll see!

Fantastic gem in Dallas I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a unique atmosphere; The space itself has a cozy+industrial vibe. I rarely write reviews but do so when not only do I really enjoy a place but meet owners who exude knowledge and care about all facets of their brand. If you are looking for a worthwhile place for coffee in Dallas I suggest you take whatever detour necessary and make it to Full City Rooster.

Peeps. I give it five stars for a few reasons. The staff is bubbly and the live stock on the walls is interesting to a city slicker like me. I wonder if they are real? Don't tell me. FCR has a good vibe in there and clearly pet friendly. What I really appreciate is the authenticity of the owner. He cares about what you think. Let him know PK sent you!

The blue berry scone was great. Cappuccino was on point. Overall 10/10 vibe, would come again. Parking on street was easy and free.

Coffee was amazing - no frills just clean and tasty drinks. The staff were really friendly too and the back was nice and cozy to hang out and enjoy your drink. The place isn't in the nicest area but the coffee made up for it. You won't be disappointed!

I stayed in Dallas for the eclipse and needed a good coffee shop, lucky for me I stayed at an AirBnB a block away from this place! I didn't buy any of their beans but their coffee was incredible and service was lovely, it felt like an intimate shop where everyone really knew each other. The art on the walls was incredible and I LOVE that they had free Narcan as a means of harm reduction in their community. LOVE this place! Definitely swing by if you're in the area!

Full City Rooster is among the very best coffee houses, anywhere, I have ever been.Owner Michael is almost always there. He has probably forgotten more about coffee roasting (he does the roasting himself on site in his custom made roaster) the varieties are seemingly endless and you can watch and he loves telling you what's going on, and you can take some home. Beyond that, friends, artists , writers, Community members hang out , have meetings, show their work, there are frequently performances by interesting, talented, musicians, poets, etc. always a fresh pile of interesting books to read. I almost always fun great conversation if I want it our peace and quiet if I need it. Obviously we all LOVE this place. You will too, come in and have amazing pastry, breakfast taco, coffee, and conversation, take some home it's one of a kind.

While in Dallas for our anniversary, we stopped at Full City Rooster's Cafe. We have been searching for excellent coffee ever since we relocated from Seattle to Dallas, and wow, this coffee shop did not disappoint. Due to how excellent the coffee was, we actually visited the coffee shop twice throughout the weekend. There is parking available both on the street and off to the side of the building. We were welcomed by the staff at the coffee shop warmly, and it was clear that they genuinely care about the community and their customers. You can add either brown sugar or simple syrup to the iced latte, which is what I ordered. I chose the simple syrup, which gave the beverage a nice balance of flavors. The latte itself was on par with coffee I'd find in the Pacific Northwest and slightly acidic, which I appreciate. I'm excited about our next visit to Full City Rooster!

These folks know coffee. Not only do they sell it out of shop, they also have it at a few local places for purchase.

Best coffee -- and atmosphere -- in town, hands down. Come here expecting top-quality pour-overs and cold brew and great company. If you're looking for hazelnut-mocha frozen faux caffeine or cello-wrapped sandwiches with sprouts, this may not be your hang. The regulars are ok with that. Try the Topo Cold Brew. You're welcome.

This awesome shop was recommended to me by a friend. Excellent coffee, kind people, and a warm atmosphere!! I think this is the best shop in Dallas, and it has become my new favorite spot for alone time, creating, and social gaming. I'd be here every day if it were in my neighborhood. I guess it took me two years to get here because of my schedule and business hours. Don't wait that long!! Go!! I look forward to the next visit and will continue to pass on the recommendation.

Such a quaint and friendly space! I love that they roast their own beans. The staff was very hospitable and knowledgable of their drinks. The overall vibe of the room is great for a quiet time studying or a small gathering of friends. Drinks were good too!

This is our favorite local coffee roaster! The folks are passionate about their craft and also very nice and welcoming. The quality of their espresso is great and they have a small cafe menu where you can get lattes and other drinks made there. We've been multiple times and the experience is always fabulous. I even went to grab a bag of the espresso beans as a gift for someone and they very kindly gift wrapped it for me!!

I was very impressed. The coffee was delicious and the blueberry pastry was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. All of their pastries are made from scratch in-house, which adds to the overall quality of the food. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee or a tasty pastry.  [1]

What a lovely coffee spot! I'm so glad that Yelp helped us find this place. :) There's plenty of parking either to the side of the coffee shop and also on the street. I ordered the iced oat milk latte and added brown sugar for sweetness, and it was super delicious. Honestly this is the best coffee I've had in DFW since moving back from Seattle, so if it was closer to where I live I would easily be a regular. The icing on top is that the staff are all very welcoming and friendly.

This gorgeous little roasters close to downtown provides a welcome respite for caffeine seekers. Seating was limited, and they didn't appear to offer snacks or bathrooms. The coffee menu is somewhat limited, but I'd still highly, highly recommend this coffee shop for one main reason: the beans! The coffee was rich, flavorful and STRONG! This is what we call, "the good stuff" folks. This'll wake you up! Coffee aficionados, don't miss out on the chance to treat yourself - you can feel the attention and care lavished on crafting a fine coffee beverage in every sip. Pick up a bag of their in-house roast to enjoy at home while you are at it.

This coffee shop is definitely worth a special trip. I stopped in again today and yet again they made a perfect espresso. I 100% recommend you stop and try.

Full City Rooster was the best coffee shop I went to in Dallas on a recent work trip. Here's what's to love: Coffee: They source the best beans from all over the world and roast them inhouse. You can see their roaster in the front of the house. My iced latte was perfectly crafted with rich coffee beans. They rotate what coffee they use, but always display the week's blend up front. Space: It's a beautiful space with outdoor seating and a large back room with couches and tables with plenty of outlets. They also have free password protected wifi that's strong and reliable. Staff: They are super nice and knowledgeable about coffee. Location: It's in a historic neighborhood south of downtown. If you go, spend some time walking the streets and enjoying the old homes, new murals, etc.

My daughter absolutely loves this place and it's been her "go to place" with Ziggy and work or chill. Our first trip to visit her we stopped by and I love the coffee too! Of course meeting the owners and team was great and then bringing fresh roasted coffee beans home to Iowa is great!!

Looked up this place on line and couldn't believe it had 5 stars... I decided to check it out and didn't realize they were about to close... I was going leave but the guy that was working insisted we order a coffee and enjoy and told us not to worry about the time... I felt so bad but he was so nice so we stayed enjoyed our coffee in their back area that was set up nicely... the staff is amazing, we even got some cool magazines to take for free. Def recommend.

Here is Dallas for the holiday and wanted a place to study for a couple hours. Really unique space I stumbled on! Asked them to surprise me with a latte and it was soooo good!!!

Seriously best Dirty Chai Latte!! Whenever I drive in from Austin, I stop by to get this. Super low key coffee shop in my opinion, but great ppl and great drinks!

The best coffee in Dallas. My boyfriend and I happened to be passing this coffee shop on the way out only to regret not trying it sooner. The barista was so nice and warm. The coffee was absolutely excellent. My latte was the perfect amount of strong, sweet, and smooth.

This morning was my first visit. My husband (who's a coffee connoisseur) has been twice before and it's by far his favorite place. I was greeted with smiles and asked how I was doing. Then I took a sip of my oat milk latte and holy Batman it was soooooo smooth and delicious. They also had tacos this morning and delicious pastries. Anytime we're in the city we will make a point to stop here. Amazing customer service and even better coffee! Keep it up guys!

This hidden gem is the place to stop and enjoy a cup of coffee or if you are like me a Latte. The staff was amazing and the coffee was one of the best I had in this area.

Full City Rooster is an excellent coffee spot. The atmosphere is great. It's casual and rustic. The customer service is top notch and the coffee is just delicious. Highly recommended! First and most important: the coffee was GOOD! Loved my latte. Others had cold brew, black coffee, those little tiny coffees (not espressos but the other thing) and all ~10 or so of us LOVED what we ordered. Their mission is impressive, roasting their own makes the whole place smell amazing and I hope to learn more about the process and selection next time. Ambiance is cool-you could tell by the crowd its a neighborhood hang because you want to be there, not because you want to be seen there. Easy to find, easy to park. And the taxidermy in the back is super cool. All and all, coffee perfection!

Love their lattes! It's so dark yet so rich and creamy. There is an intense nutty flavor to the drink, way better than Starbucks. This place is your go to if you're ever in town and love the darkness of coffee. It's a little more pricer but it's worth it if you want to indulge in your coffee. I ordered a small for about $4 with tax.

Loved this place! A gem! I got the sweetened iced latte, and it was great! Just the right amount of sweet! There's a whole lotta space in the back with outlets and everything. Comfy seating available if you're just trynna have a conversation with a friend. Owner is really sweet, really makes you feel welcome. Overall, would 100% recommend!

This place is better than Taco Bell at consistently clearing your bowels and giving you diarrhea for days. Sitting on the toilet grasping the bowl gives me plenty of time to contemplate the finer things in life. Avoid at all costs.

It's not often you come across a place that's just special. Full City Rooster is such a place and Michael is a huge reason why. Simply put, he's awesome. At at time where expertise, attention to detail, and quality seem to be of less and less a value, it's the antithesis of that here and all delivered with exceptional service. He and the vibe are incredibly welcoming to the point where it was difficult to leave. The espresso he made from his in-house roasted Guatemalan beens was easily one of the smoother espressos I've had. I tasted a cappuccino he made and it was delicious too. On our way out, I found myself not able to leave without trying their sipping chocolate. I love a good European style sipping chocolate, yet find it can be hard to find stateside. I couldn't pass up the opportunity and I found it to be the star of the show. It was thick, deep, rich, complex and so very enjoyable to drink. I didn't want it to end. It's the best sipping chocolate I've had in the US, period and I highly recommend giving it a try. My experience here is not one I'll soon forget. The brilliant coffee, stupendous sipping chocolate, excellent service, enriching organic conversation, and wonderfully comforting atmosphere were beyond compare. There's no question whenever I'm in Dallas, I'll be making a stop a Full City Rooster. Multiple stops most likely.

This is quite possibly one of the coolest coffee shops in Dallas, but I'm torn to let everyone know because the perfection comes in its chill atmosphere and humility. The energy here is just perfect for relaxing or studying or contemplating. Go stare at the wall here, you might solve one of society's great problems. The other side of me wants everyone to come here so that they stay in business. Try the Topo Cold Brew for an interesting twist!

Overall: sweetened iced latte was amazing! This place has a small selection of drinks but the sweetened iced coffee was awesome. They do not offer flavors but that was totally okay. I feel like they like the focus on the coffee. I learned this place was a roasting place only but had opened a cafe about 9mo ago. The space was very chill. They had plenty of seating. Some in the front and more in the back with a patio as well. Staff was very nice! Give this place a shot!

We stopped by here to get a pick-me-up before hitting the road to head back to Memphis from Dallas. I loved the local feel, the friendliness, and the general vibe. I ordered their iced latte, which is my go-to, and WOW was it good. Very rich espresso taste, slight sweetness, and smooth cream taste. Can't beat it.

They've never been friendly to me, which is confusing because it's the definition of neighborhood coffee shop, overpriced

What an amazing find! I was here for sandwich hag pop up shop and I wouldn't have known about this place if it wasn't for the pop up. I don't make effort looking for places like this but I do appreciate a good find. Checking out the place and I noticed they got a great selection of coffee beans from all over the world. Everybody was so knowledgeable and answered all my questions. It was cold that day so I settled for the hot cherry coffee tea to warm up. It was more tea than coffee and it was the best tea ever. Very fragrant and flavorful. The good thing is it came in a small pot so you can get more hot water. It was better the second time around. I also had the opportunity to try their Vietnamese coffee shave ice drizzle with bourbon. It was very simple and delightful. Very refreshing and it wasn't as strong as Vietnamese coffee which, I enjoyed.

I was walking around and decided to see what this place was about. Long story short, I spent almost an hour here chatting with the owner, Michael, who taught me so much about coffee and the roasting process because I was curious. Unfortunately, I can't remember a lot of it atm other than don't stick your coffee in the fridge! I remember that! *high fives self* He's a really awesome guy and I picked up a bag of Guatemalan coffee for about 13 bucks. He was also kind enough to let me try a cup of cherry coffee tea (or coffee cherry tea? Sorry Michael...) and introduced me to aero pressed coffee while we both drank and talked like old buddies. I have so much more respect for everything coffee now. Come and support him!

Simply decorated, yet warm And inviting. The service, exceptional. We took an early morning walk and were greeted with warm and friendly smiles. The coffee was delightful. We even opted for a Sipping Chocolate to start our day off right. Amazing! This little gem is a must see if you're in the area. Go for the coffee and stay for the conversation.

This place is awesome. Everything about it. The storefront has really cool branding outside AND there's parking. The inside is really open. The people are really friendly - the owner, the staff, even the customer I talked to. But what about the coffee? The coffee is prime. Excellent pour over from Guatemala when I was there. This is a great spot in Dallas and I'll be back soon.

I'm a total Melbourne coffee snob and these guys are the real deal. Fantastic coffee and service. Wish we had more cafes like Full City Rooster in NYC. Bravo team; will be back.

What a find (thanks, Yelp)! Wonderfully smooth coffees (roasted on-site), fair prices, great pastries (& yogurt parfait), and very friendly staff. I've got a pound of their Ethiopian beans to remind me how good their coffee is--guess I'll be back as soon as it runs out!
