Yelp
Fulton Street is awesome!
Right now they're only open for grab and go, which I understand, but I look forward to when we get covid more under control, and this becomes a place people can actually spend time in (again). I regret that this wasn't a place I knew about before! I can't wait to come back, spend some time browsing for the prefect book to buy with my coffee.
Their beverages are so reasonably priced, y'all! They've got so many flavors of syrups, oat milk and almond milk that they can substitute in any coffee, tea or smoothie for anyone avoiding milk for any reason (lactose intolerance, veganism, environmental concerns, et cetera). The baristas will work with you so patiently to help you figure out what sounds good, and what works for you. They're so helpful, and so nice!
It's always great to support locally owned small businesses. To me, this one is probably the best one you can support. Owned by a woman of color, Onikah Asamoa-Caeser, Fulton Street Books provides both great coffee and educational books that offer us an gift to learn and grow as individuals. We'd be foolish to squander the opportunity this establishment has given us by not supporting it, by not purchasing and reading books either from the brick and mortar store or from their website: https://www.fultonstreet918.com/
I really enjoyed my coconut coffee, which I ordered with oat milk, and I asked if they could make it iced, because I prefer cold drinks. It was absolutely delicious, but I think next time I think I'll get a shot of syrup added to it just to make it even sweeter.
