Funnel Cakes were really good! 👍 Big enough to share with someone, or if you have the sweet tooth to satisfy this will do the job 💯! Very friendly staff, and recommend everyone to try out! Just a heads up tho they don't take plastic, only cash, zelle, venmo, and I believe cash app. Funnel cakes are $12, and are worth it. You have up to 7 toppings free. I know I'll be returning 😋

Incredible customer service - super nice guy helped us pick out what to get and gave helpful recommendations. He also brings it out directly to your car which is nice. The funnel cake itself was delicious and had super fresh toppings. It was also big enough for multiple people to enjoy. Definitely recommend this if you’re craving a funnel cake or dessert.

Absolutely delicious. This funnel cake is big enough for 2 people if you feel like sharing ;) . They start at $12 and the menu says the first 7 toppings are free. Its so filling! Staff is very nice too!

Funnel cakes are really customizable, they let you choose up to seven toppings! Highly suggest it if you are in the area. Just be aware when I went, service was really slow.

The funnel cakes were so very delicious & huge! The only downside was that there is very limited parking, I had to park a couple blocks away by the Circus Liquor store and even that was a pain getting in and out of. Aside from the parking this place was well worth the money spent especially when it is hard to find a funnel cake place open late!

Gentlemen that helped us was really nice. The dessert was delicious and better then expected! Definitely recommend. The only thing that was confusing was the name on top of the building “lory restaurant”. That should change or be removed. Other then that amazing!

Wow! Most amazing funnel cake ever! We spent the day at Six Flags dreaming of a funnel cake but ran out of time & no way were we waiting in a 2 hr line for a funnel cake at Six Flags AFTER closing! Thankfully we found this place open on our way home! 🙌🙌 you can add up to 7 toppings for the same amount but honestly some fruit, Nutella, & ice cream does it all! & their Vietnamese coffee was the perfect pairing for this late night treat! Toppings: -bananas -strawberries -blueberries -Nutella -ice cream -powdered sugar -cherries on top

Perfect funnel cake, the strawberries were fresh, and they had a bunch of other toppings. The staff were really nice and they offered to bring it out to the car when it was done cooking. Really great place, please help them out because my bf will cry if they aren't around next time he needs funnel cake at 9:30 at night. ALSO the sign over top of the door says Lory Restaurant. You're in the right place.

YUM. Where else can you get a funnel cake without having to go to an amusement park first?! Huge portions and great service. They let you pick 7 toppings and every cake is $16. A little pricey. The store is a pop up, meaning that they use another restaurant's kitchen. They didn't have any inside seating, but they did have two tall tables outside that my friends and I took over. It felt a little unsafe since there were a lot of people walking around and yelling outside. We were a group of 4 girls, so we didn't feel entirely comfortable eating outside It looked like the servers walked orders to people's cars, which is really helpful. There were still loads of people waiting outside because street parking in front of the restaurant was limited. We had to park around the corner. We had to wait a little longer than I would've liked for our desserts, but it was definitely worth it. I would totally eat here again!

Place is closed and has not been updated for more that a year. Tried to contact the restaurant on social media and luck that's the only reason for the low star rating. *Updating my review; I just received a response from the owner, and I really really hope they can open their business soon.

I love this place! Oh my goodness i cannot describe how good this was and how bad I want to get it again. The teas are so good, a bit on the sweeter side but so thirst quenching. They also used very cool ice that I've personally never seen before but I enjoyed them a lot! Now onto the funnel cake, it is just such a beautiful creation! It was spongy and chewey and the fact that you get to choose 7 different toppings is amazing. I've 10000% found my favorite dessert place in la!

The men who work there are very nice and have good customer service. THINGS TO CONSIDER! CASHLESS! Virtual payment only. LOCATION: They are a night restaurant based out of Lory Restaurant. The only ad and banner are on the a TVS in the window. PARKING: I can get street parking easily any time. NO SEATING: There is no seating. You cannot eat inside of the establishment. You will have it brought out to your car or to go via uber eats. Check the times of this location. It's only open at night! Support local & POC owned businesses!

Crispy funnel cake with bananas , strawberries , whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, topped with caramel drizzle and powdered sugar , 10/10 best funnel cake i've ever had, i usually don't like funnel cake because it's really greasy but this funnel cake isn't! I can tell the owner really cares about the quality of the fruits because the strawberries are fresh and the bananas are freshly ripe . They have a good amount of options to customize your funnel cake to liking which is amazing . highly recommend

Wonderful service and the cakes were just as good! We were looking for a nice spot for a late night dessert so searched this place up. We did miss it the first time around and called to make sure they were still open. They operate as a "ghost" kitchen so during the day it's a different restaurant. There's no dine in area but they did have cocktails table outside for you to eat. We opted to sit in our car since it was after 10pm. They serve the cakes in a biodegradable container and bring them out one at a time. That's as fresh as you can get it. The cake was hot and crispy and the toppings were just perfect! Don't forget to check in for a free ice tea!! Will return!!

I think my Mom is really attempting to instill that "balance" in my life. I'm trying to limit my alcohol intake, eat healthier and so on in an attempt to feel my best this summer and this woman is always talking about "dessert". I mean she's barely a hundred pounds, she can use some dessert, me on the other hand I should probably scale back on my dessert intake but I'm a sucker for it. We were leaving a nearby bar when she said she wanted "dessert". Ok Mom! Let's do it! and if we are going to do it, let's REALLY effing do it, you know. I wandered what the heck was around for dessert and stumbled upon Fun Ol'Cakes. Nothing screams Summer evening like a couple of pina coladas followed by grabbing a funnel cake for dessert. We drove right over and had a field day. The sign said pick any 7 toppings! 7??????? 7 toppings????! Yowsa! We just went all in, naming just about everything. Neither of us can really have ice-cream. I mean I do, sometimes but we really can't so we added a ton of fun yummy things and this dessert was delish! She ordered my Dad a chocolate version with Cookies and Cream ice-cream. It was unreal. Come to think of it, I haven't heard from him in a few days so who knows if he's still recovering from this sugar high. This is a fun little neighborhood dessert. I wouldn't go as far as saying I'd travel far for it, but if you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat Fun Ol Cakes is just that, Fun! and it hits the spot. You want to eat this warm I'd say, so my Mom and I enjoyed ours there at the little outdoor counter top. The price point is a little steep for a funnel cake, but it is what it is - they are fun and tasty. Enjoy!

My close friend decided to treat me out for my bday and wanted a late-night desert place. I stumbled across this gem and luckily this place closes at Midnight. Although we came from the OC, but OMG of this hidden gem in Hollywood. Good thing this place opens late with indicating outdoor heat pillars or you can't find it. You park in front the place but can be limited because you can't go inside of the establishment. Staff are wearing mask and they take your order through social distance style (regardless if you are wearing a mask or not). Like all funnel cake places, you choose a variety of toppings and pay extra for additional toppings. You get up to 7 FREE toppings. For all you first timers, here are the perks: They have Yelp check-in offer of FREE peach tea ($4). It actually taste like actual peach. Not in mood for it? They have other variety of drinks. Other thing is that if you come here on the EXACT day of your birthday, the funnel cake of your choosing is FREE by showing your ID. As for choosing what funnel cake, the possibilities are endless. To make it ease, you can follow on their Instagram and show the staff which one you prefer (same follows on Yelp). If the toppings are under 7, you choose more in order to make the difference. If asking for more scoops, it's $3 extra. The funnel cake melts in your mouth and the overall freshness and sweetness will satisfy that late-night hunger. Highly recommend of checking this gem if you are in Hollywood.

Their Funnel Cakes are really good. You are able to create your own. You get 7 toppings for $16. You can choose from Sugars (Cinnamon or Powdered), Sauces (Nutella, Lechera, etc.), Cereals (Fruity Pebbles, Frosted Flakes, etc.), Fruits (Strawberries, Mango, etc.). They also have Ice Cream (Vanilla, Cookies 'N Cream and Strawberry). Some of their Add-Ons include....Whipped Cream, Sprinkles, Marshmallows, etc. If you check in on yelp you get a free drink. They have Mango Lemonade, Vietnamese Coffee, Hot Cocoa w/ Marshmallows, etc. I really liked this place because even with the 7 toppings it was good and not too sweet as other places. The only thing is they are a pop-up and you are not able to sit inside. We had to eat in our car.

Delicious funnel cake hit the spot late night on a Saturday. Multiple topping options, great, quick, and friendly service. In only took about five minutes and they even brought it out to my car! Definitely my new go to spot for a great treat.

I had the best experience at Fun Ol' Cakes. Their service was quick and efficient. It's so easy to order, they have little papers ready for you to fill out and you have the option to order with the guy out front at the counter as well. It took about 5-10 minutes to get my funnel cake and that is a reasonable wait time for me. The funnel cake was delicious, the fruits were fresh, and the Nutella was ON POINT. Some place are so stingy and barely put any Nutella on orders but they put the perfect and abundant amount! I definitely have recommended and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family:) I love their food and service. I'm glad I found them. The parking situation isn't difficult, there's street parking and there's usually a couple spots open around all times of the day. *I was here in April*

GO GO GO! There's nothing I love more than a late night snack & this place doesn't disappoint! I typically do not have a sweet tooth. I prefer things that have Chamoy etc. because I couldn't find it to be too sugary, but this batter from the funnel cakes is so so so good. It is not the type of batter that is so that weight heavy on you that you feel very full after eating it. There is some thing about the way they make these funnel cakes that sit just about right. You get to pick 7 free toppings additional ones per charge. The service is always great this is my second time coming & I will def be returning. They will bring the funnel cake to your car which I think is very considerate of them given that it is late at the time that I usually go. Wanted something sweet to end my night and this was perfect. Walked up and was greeted by a young lady who was super sweet and friendly. The fact that you can get 7 toppings for 15.00 is a steal but that is too much of a overload for me. I also have vanilla ice cream that was on the side because it was order to go. I can truly appreciate a good funnel cake and this was exactly what my boyfriend and I needed. Plus we able to share just this one. Who definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Super delicious but their set up in inconvenience since they don't have any seating available. It more than enough for 2 people to share and the price is definitely worth it!!! It does take a while to make once it's ordered but they offer to bring it to your car. Nothing too special about the funnel cake except the enormous options of toppings. It's definitely worth a try!

The best thing is that you can pick up to 7 toppings! Honestly its such a great idea because I feel like if you go to the pier you get one topping and you have to pay for additional ones. We got powder sugar because duh, but then added some cereals, ice cream, and fruit. They actually forgot our nutella when writing the order down and then didn't bring it until we were almost finished (it was very busy so not their fault) but I am not detracting any stars because it was delicious! The gentleman was also super friendly and brought a little countertop thing from one side to the other so all of our friends could eat together. Veryyy fresh and tasty.

I wanted this place to be good so bad but i was slightly disappointed. The funnel cake was kind of dry! I got lots of toppings including Nutella and biscoff but it seemed like the funnel cake had been sitting out a while kind of dry! It wasn't moist and fluffy . Kind of annoying to cut ! So it felt like it was sitting a while. They say 7 toppings but i wanted 2 scoops of ice cream for 2 of the 7 and it was an up charge of $3 which doesn't make sense if there's 7 toppings?? I asked for several cherries and they gave me 1 The guy taking the orders did not wanna be there . He couldn't have looked and sounded more dead in his life. He was not interested in answering any questions we had about the menu! And definitely wasn't friendly. Overall I'm super disappointed ! :( don't know what happened . Maybe a bad night idk

I have never even thought about eating funnel cake before; I have a strong aversion to anything stereotypical of amusement park food. But, Fun Ol Cakes has given me a change of heart. The experience of eating their funnel cakes is so good, that is is worth the thought of knowing that in five delectable minutes, it completely invalidated the 2 hr workout I did that morning. The service here was also incredible. When the guy running the shop hand-delivered our funnel cakes to us outside, seeing that 6 of us were huddled around a small standing table, he brought us another table so we had more room to eat. ON TOP OF THAT, he brought each of us free water bottles because we said we were thirsty. And he checked up on us several times to see if we needed anything else. What a guy. And what a stand.

I'm glad we found this place You get to build your 7-topping masterpiece for $15 and they are nice enough to bring it out to your car. The inside is small and looks like it used to be open but for now they are bringing it out to your car. The two workers are great and nice, super great service. Not only that but you can easily just park outside and finish it and then drive off ! Definitely recommend The ice cream is cold and soft and the funnel cake is soft and hot! Besides Magic Mountain...we've been trying different locations to try some good MM Funnel Cake. This was pretty good! I would say light Nutella though. They were very generous on all their toppings. They're not open for indoor service but it was worth it. In the heart of Noho, very cute spot. Service was amazing , the funnel cake was freshly fried and the fruit was fresh too, not canned crap. If you're in the neighborhood and love a good funnel cake...its the place to try.

Was craving a quality funnel cake so I found Fun Ol' Cakes here on Yelp and my boyfriend and I made the drive. We didn't find it first, because the name isn't outside, so we went around the block again. We parked at the gas station across the street, but there is street parking in front of the place (recommend because they will bring it to your car after you order). There is a table right at the door, that is where your order is taken, so no indoor dining I believe. The funnel cake starts at $15 including 7 toppings of your choice, any more after 7 is additional pay. If I can remember, we ordered Nutella, strawberry ice cream, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, and a cherry on the top (only 6). I wish we hadn't ordered Nutella or that we asked them to only drizzle it on top, because the whole cake was coated with Nutella we couldn't finish it because it was sweet. The serving was big! great for the price. Can definitely be shared by up to 4 people, depending on everyone's appetite. Other than that, I would definitely go back to satisfy future funnel cake cravings. I do hope they expand and open some more locations.

I just left this location and the funnel cakes are AMAZING! But what's more amazing is to see kind staff members! I love how they brought out our funnel cake to our vehicle & handed us some water as we waited. That's what I call good customer service! This is my second time coming here & I don't live nearby. This place is located in an odd spot, it's right on the corner of a high traffic residential area so parking was a pain. We arrived at 9pm on a Wednesday and there was a small line that moved fairly quickly. Because of COVID the inside was closed so they had a makeshift order area set up outside. They have tons of toppings and options and you are allowed 7 toppings. We ordered based off the pictures the owner uploaded to Yelp and asked that one they called the churro funnel cake to not have Nutella or chocolate. When it came out it did have Nutella/chocolate so we asked for a new one and they remade it quickly and even gave us a free strawberry lemonade. In total we had 5 funnel cakes and it took about 30 minutes to get them all so service is a little slow but it was only 2 of them and probably more people than they were expecting for a late Wednesday night. The cakes themselves were delicious! The were decent sized and all of ours were cooked perfectly with a nice crispy shell but a soft and moist inside. Overall a nice spot to hit that sweet tooth craving late at night.

Amazing selection of toppings! You get to choose up to 7, ranging from ice cream to fruits to brownie bites. The funnel cakes were extremely fresh and the portion was huge! While the food was amazing, the service was also superb. This is a pop-up in LA so look out for them in other areas in the future.

This place is so good ! Came here after dinner with friends after all the dessert places we tried were closed. This place saved the day by being open late night! There isn't anywhere to sit but it's worth it! You can choose any toppings you want and can't go wrong! Do yourself a favor and tries this place! The desserts are huge and perfect for sharing!

Great funnel cake place! The employees are so kind and helpful. The funnel cake is a great deal for all the toppings you get to choose from and they do not skimp on them at all. They have parking conveniently right in front on the street. Funnel cake came out quickly was cooked perfectly, not overdone at all. Love it!

The funnel cakes are so delicious and fresh! If you haven't been, I highly recommend. What a creative and simple idea for a dessert spot. Excellent customer service, special shout out to Seth - he was handling all the customers and did an amazing job, so sweet and kind! It's in a bit of a strange location and right now due to covid they are only doing take out. So I recommend driving there or possibly calling to order ahead (not sure if they allow it though). There was a homeless person right outside the business who ended up stealing their tip jar, rather than get upset all the guys working laughed it off. It was a pretty funny story though. I love you more! Anyway - if you are nearby or craving some awesome desserts definitely check it out!

All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW! This place has the best funnel cakes I have ever tasted in my entire life! After trying the funnel cakes here, I have told so many people to go try it and they all have thanked me so much, and are now returning customers. This place definitely has top-notch quality funnel cakes, and you MUST try it! It will leave you drooling for more! On top of it, the quality of service is amazing and very professional.
