I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves 5 stars. The new Andersonville location is the first Furious Spoon I’ve been too. The ramen is phenomenal, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick.
I would come here if you’re a ramen enthusiast or if you want to try ramen for the first time. The cashier was more than willing to explain everything included on the menu. They also make an effort in accommodating for people’s food allergies.
Yes, the music for dining in is loud hip hop, but that is Furious Spoon’s gimmick and selling point. So don’t be surprised and complain when you’re greeted by pumped up old school hip hop. If that might bother you, you can always get your meal to go, which seemed like a popular option for other customers.
Andersonville is a neighborhood that sees restaurants and shops come and go like they’re going through a revolving door. That being said, I really hope this Furious Spoon location can stay put for awhile. It offers a delicious and efficient ramen option among all the other restaurants on Clark St.
