Futura is fantastic. Yes, because of the coffee, but also because the people there are so lovely here. They care about their customers and it feels wonderful to be greeted by smiles. I'm certain it makes the coffee taste better. As for the space! They didn’t change much about the layout after taking over from Tea Bar, but I reeeaally love the tables along the window that they put in, replacing the counter! So much nicer to sit here. Futura is warm, welcoming, and delicious and I couldn't be happier they're in the neighborhood.

Made a great matcha latte! Lots of indoor seating and a few tables outside. Friendly, helpful folks.

This is a very welcoming and comfortable place. The people working here during our visit were very kind and helpful. Their matcha is probably the best I have had in Portland so far. It is not some presweetened matcha mix, but actual matcha powder which you can choose to have sweetened, or not, using a variety of sweetener options including honey. It was delicious. While I am not a big coffee person, my wife is, and when she was asking about the beans, etc. the person helping us was very knowledgeable. They offer pour-over and the flavor of the coffee was very smooth and enjoyable even for me (my opinion of most coffee is that it taste like burned water). Of the places I have visited in Portland, this is the one I am most excited about visiting again and I definitely recommend it based on my experience during this visit.

This space is so welcoming, comfy and clean. I love the variety of drink options! Very excited to make this a regular spot for coffee with friends and me-dates.
