"Futuro, located in Indianapolis, is praised for its creative toppings and ultra-thin, crispy crust. Ordered takeout. Great pizza, ambiance seemed nice inside, and staff was really nice in my small interaction them. They actually thanked me for “coming out tonight” which I was surprised by but thought it was a nice way to show customer appreciation. I got the tavern futuro classic and Detroit style bacon and basil. The tavern pizza was super tasty thin crust more Italian style (as opposed to a more NY style type pizza ya know?). Definitely my favorite pizza in this style I’ve had in Indy so far. First time trying Detroit style pizza and have to say it was quite enjoyable. Very crispy, crunchy crust and super creative flavor profile. I thought the whipped ricotta was an especially cool touch. Definitely look forward to trying other flavors here as well!

Went to Futuro with class buddy of mine! I saw the reviews on TikTok so I had to give a try while I was visiting from North Carolina. The combination of flavors on the “pig” option was the best! The ricotta cheese is such a delicacy on a pizza, I didn’t know I needed. Very good spot! Must try. I got the Chicago style small, it was $18. Kinda expensive for a small pizza but I’ll take it!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Futuro Pizza is an absolute gem, and it easily ranks as one of the best pizza spots in the Midwest. Their take on Detroit-style pizza is not only unique but also incredibly flavorful. The thick, square slices are perfectly crispy on the edges with a soft, airy center, creating a great texture contrast. Every bite was a fantastic experience, and the quality of the ingredients really shines through. What sets Futuro apart is their creativity with flavors. They’ve gone beyond the typical pizza options and truly thought outside the box when it comes to their combinations. From the toppings to the sauce, every element feels fresh and well-thought-out. It’s clear that they put a lot of care into crafting each pizza. I had one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had in a long time here. If you’re looking for something different, or if you’re a fan of Detroit-style pizza, this place is a must-visit. The flavors and quality make it stand out from other pizza joints. I highly recommend Futuro Pizza to anyone in the area—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

We had a fantastic time at Futuro Pizza! Despite it being a busy night, our order arrived much quicker than we expected. I enjoyed the breadsticks with garlic butter, and they were absolutely delicious. There are four breadsticks in the order, and i could only eat two. My wife opted for the "Build Your Own Pizza," and she declared it the best pizza she's had in Indianapolis. The facility was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and there was plenty of parking available. We are looking forward to our next visit. We think the 30-minute drive is worth ordering for takeout.

Google
Hubs and I went for the first time. When we first walked in, we only saw the one table. After talking to the lovely person at the counter (very sweet and informative) we made our selection and found out there is a super cute dining area upstairs. The pizza is amazing and we will absolutely be back!

Google
If you give this place less than 5 stars you're a Hater! Was driving through town and stopped here got a deep dish half Bacon Basil half spotted pig. Fresh food most of it is made in house, Bacon Basil was my favorite. So much flavor and baked to perfection. The way they style the pizza was awesome. Iheated up leftovers and it wasn't out of the oven fresh but was still better than most pizza fresh out.

Google
This pizza is incredible! It seems to me to be like Detroit style pizza but it is better. I would highly recommend Futuro to anyone downtown but we drove from the Westside to come here. Highly recommended! The only thing is that it is take out until it is a little warmer. But it is worth it!

**Birthday Dinner Review: Futuro Pizza** For this year’s birthday dinner, you know the choice always comes down to tacos or pizza. Despite Futuro being open for a few years, this was my first visit. Amber and I drove to the pizza shop and found parking without any issues. Upon entering, the entry area was bustling with people, indicating that a significant portion of their sales consists of pick-up orders. The customer service at the counter was exemplary. The staff member was polite and patient as he guided us through the menu. We decided to order the Futuro Classic and breadsticks. The wait time was approximately 40 minutes. We were informed that the dining area was located upstairs. After ascending the stairs, we found bar-style seating facing the window. The seating area was somewhat limited, accommodating roughly six groups of tables. When the food was ready, I received a text notification. The pizza and breadsticks were fresh and hot upon arrival. Our first impressions were positive; the sauce was exceptional, the pepperoni was delicious, and the cheese had that perfect pull everyone looks for. Overall, the meal was very good. As a fan of Detroit-style pizza, I appreciated that this pizza was not excessively thick and had a crispy crust. Amber enjoyed the crispy crust, whereas I was less impressed. The breadsticks were satisfactory but not particularly memorable. In conclusion, Futuro makes a commendable pizza. It surpasses many other pizzas I have tried. However, I can’t say I will be craving it and rushing back soon. The customer service was outstanding, the dining room was notably small, and the food was average.

Yelp
Best pizza in downtown Indy! Have tried it a few times. Can't go wrong with a plain cheese tavern and the spotted pig and chicken limo are both great Detroit style. This is the only pizza I'll be getting from now on!

Michael M.

Yelp
I tried some of Futuro's amazing pizzas recently. I purchased the "Classic" pizza Tavern style and a Pepperoni pizza Detroit style and breadsticks. Alyssa helped me and was extremely friendly and helpful. The first bite was the Tavern. All my wife kept saying was mmm...mmm...mmm. so, that was a hit and I would definitely agree! Next we sampled the breadsticks. My first thought was how soft they were and tasted the parm and seasonings. Not a normal breadstick. I commented I could eat a full order of just them! Lastly we tried the Detroit. As with the Tavern, the toppings are abundant. From end to end, corner to corner. I'm a fan of Detroit style and spent many years there for work. I tried a lot and I would put this right up with the best. The crust was perfectly crisp and golden brown. Next time, I'm going for the Chicago-style! Note: There is seating upstairs and outside.

Yelp
I chose to eat at Futuro for a late lunch. The ambiance was pretty chill. The construction of the building was very industrial. The decorations were cute and retro (ie- E.T./ He-Man movie posters and a N.W.A. group picture). The inside of the restaurant was a lot larger than I originally thought when I entered. I was informed by the employee behind the counter that there was an upstairs eating area. The upstairs had tons more space and was nice and clean. The service was okay. It wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't bad either. In my opinion, the menu was limited. My biggest complaint was about the prices. I paid $16.35 for a "small" Veglord pizza. No breadsticks. No drink. No meat. Just a small veggie pizza served in a plain brown box. The pizza itself was pleasing to the eye, hot, and fresh. The taste was a 6.5/10. The construction and consistency of the pizza was nice, and I felt full after eating half of the pizza (3 pcs). On the downside, the banana peppers were unexpectedly very tangy which was a shock to my taste buds. In all honestly, the pizza as a whole left a bit to be desired.

Nicole S.

Yelp
The personal pizza is huge! You need to ask yourself, before you order it: Am I prepared to eat a pizza that can possibly feed a family of three? If the answer is yes, like it was for me, then it ain't no thing. Eat your pizza with unabashed glee. I know I did. I took my personal Detroit-style pizza to the upstairs seating, and ate it until my pants didn't feel right. One thing you need to be aware of, though: The pizzas at Futuro are made to order, and they are thick Detroit-style pizzas, so they will take some time to cook. Once I ordered, the server told me it would be about 25 minutes before my meal was ready. That's kind of a long time when you're hungry for pizza! So just know that going in. You know what distracts you from hunger pangs? Beer! Futuro has a few beers on tap, as well as a plethora of local and local-ish beers in cans. I got a Chicago-based beer (Half Acre), in a can, and it was great. I sipped on that while I was waiting. I saw a lot of people pop in to get their pizza to go, but if you can, you should dine in. The upstairs dining room has bar seating that looks out onto the parking lot, and beyond that, the interstate and the Indianapolis skyline. It's kind of neat to eat and take in the view.

Liza G.

Yelp
Worth traveling in the snow for!!! First off, such a cute little spot. You order at the counter and then if you want, you can find a table to sit and dine. There are maybe two tables on the first floor, and then about 10 tables with bar top- like seating on the second (not handicapped accessible). Also, a great area to co-work. I went during lunch and got the pepperoni pizza special. You can choose from cheese or pepperoni and it comes with 2 breadsticks and a drink for I believe $15. That's a DEAL! It was a ton of food. They specialize in more of a deep dish style, which I love. I know it was just pepperoni, but something about it was different! So so good. There is a reason why they got #2 on Yelp's Top 100 Midwest Pizza spots!

Erika P.

Yelp
Living up to those great reviews. The pizza was delicious. The service was friendly and quick. I will definitely be coming back. I'm a Chicago pizza fan, but this Detroit pizza was done right. Thank you, Futuro! PS ask for Alicia at the front counter, she gives you great recommendations.

Richard P.

Yelp
I had the opportunity recently to brag about all things Yelp Indy, however, you can imagine my embarrassment, okay faux embarrassment, when the subject came up of Indy's beloved and highly rated Futuro, a Holy Cross culinary heaven with pizza that consistently ends up on "best of" lists and top spots for Yelp. While I'd been to Futuro's sister joint when it was open in SoBro, despite a strong desire I'd never made it to Futuro. Then, it came up in a conversation about Yelp and I knew it was time to right that wrong. So, I finally did. How did I manage to miss this for wrong? This is like an orgasm for the tummy. It's like heaven on earth. (Yes, I mentioned an orgasm and heaven in the same paragraph. You already know I'm not quite right). Seriously. This is a delight. Futuro specializes in Detroit style and Chicago Tavern Style Pizza - both just happen to be my faves. They also have gluten-free options. They have some specialty options and build-your-own options. Their standard pizza dough is vegan. This is the kind of place where you order a pizza, you love that pizza, you look around, and you want that other pizza. I want ALL the pizzas. Accessibility? Not quite perfect, though it works. They have seating in a second floor dining room, a table on the main floor, and a lot of patio seating. They do note that they work with delivery services, though they also offer a bit of a caution given their lack of control once the pizza leaves their building. You can order pick-up or carryout, though it's generally best to do that online as when they get busy in-house the phone may ring a bit. This is also a counter service model - so if you arrive to pick up, go to the counter. They also carry beer and cider. Futuro also offers catering, group/event/party events, and more. Employees? Friendly. Pizza? Incredible. I tried the small Detroit Style Futuro Classic (Ezzo Borough cut pepperoni, housemade Italian sausage, mushrooms, Pecorino Romano, housemade red sauce) and it was a delight. Crust was sublime, toppings were perfect, serving size was great, and overall it was just a sublime pizza pie. I've also tried the breadsticks - while I'm more of garlic bread guy, these are baked in blend of garlic butter and you can get garlic butter on the side (or house red sauce). I would easily order both of these things again. I am truly embarrassed it took me so long to visit here. It won't take me so long to get back.

Paige T.

Yelp
Food: I ordered the BYO with pepperoni for both complimentary toppings. It came sliced and ground. Loved having both options. The red sauce was tasty and a little sweet. Because the Detroit style is thicker crust, I would've liked more sauce because the thicker crust made it a little drier to me. Service: A1 Ambiance: This spot was so cute! Lots of natural light, artwork, and plants which I love! They have an upstairs eating area but I didn't get a chance to see it.

Leah J.

Yelp
My boo picked up our dinner and introduced me to Futuro! Overall the food was good. The crust was a 10/10. Loved how it was crunchy!! I did think the flat bread was a little salty than I like. Maybe due to the amount of pepperonis. The service was good and he picked up the food with no problem. I am Not sure how the ambiance was but I'm sure it was great. I would like to try the deep dish next time.

Shelby A.

Yelp
I've been following them for well over a year on Instagram and only just made it downtown to pick up some pizza! Man we have been missing out. My 30 min drive home smelled delicious and I couldn't wait to dig in! We got the Futuro Classic and the Chicken Limo. Loved both but with my pregnancy I've been craving buffalo chicken items- so the chicken limo was my fav tonight. Also got a ceasar salad and the dressing was so delicious! I know my new stop to pick up dinner when coming home from the airport!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Where do I start?! As a pizza enthusiast I was highly impressed by Futuro. I'm really particular about my thin crust pizzas, I grew up near Chicago so if you know, you know haha. My dad & I stopped here for a daddy/daughter date & when I saw they had tavern style crust pizzas I HAD to try it. It's not a huge place, which I can appreciate. You can grab the pizza to go or sit upstairs in the dining area. They have cool art work & there is a TV if you're into that. The hostess that took our order was patient with us since it was our first time. We were a little undecided but decided on the Chicken Limo pizza. It was delicious & full of flavor. The chicken was seasoned well & it was the perfect amount of sauce. Soo good! I plan to visit again & try the Detroit Style pizza.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Was visiting Indy from Buffalo and we have very high standards for pizza lol A lot of people told me not to bother looking for good pizza in Indy but we ignored the naysayers and found Futuro. We're sooo glad we did. It was amazing and we enjoyed it very much. The employee at the register that greeted us was extremely helpful and nice. The place is neat inside where the entry is for pickup/ordering and upstairs there is seating. They also offer a traditional round tavern style pie. Parking available as well. Very much worth it!

Amanda R.

Yelp
As a previous Detroit native living in the circle city futuro scratches an itch unlike the other local pizza joints. Their Detroit style is low Key better than Buddy's.. iykyk

gabriela f.

Yelp
Futuro was amazing! I had never had detroit style pizza before but it did not disappoint. I ordered the detroit style spotted pig pizza with whipped ricotta and hot honey. SO GOOD! Only downside is its a little on the pricier side but it is worth it if you are looking for a higher quality pizza. Breadsticks were fire as well

Steve K.

Yelp
Fun and funky vibe, tons of seating upstairs and outdoors. Pizzas can take 20 min to make--they don't mess around rushing things--so you might want to order ahead of time. Their pizzas have a unique texture combining crispy with doughy. This is definitely eat with your fingers, don't even try a fork and knife!

Merry B.

Yelp
I finally got to try Futuro when I picked up a couple of pizzas for my brother's birthday. He requested the Spotted Pig Detroit Style and a BYO Tavern Style with pepperoni and basil. Ordering online was easy and it didn't take too long before our order was ready. Both pizzas were delicious and what was really impressive is how crispy he tavern style stayed on our 25 minute drive over to my brother's place. Often thin crusts can get soggy, but this one was perfect! There are several other options I want to try soon!

Antonia F.

Yelp
Hands down some of the best pizza in Indy. The crust is always perfectly cooked and the pepperoni and sauce are stellar. To top things off, they sell some hard to find sodas like Tahitian treat and service is always friendly. The shop is clean and well kept and there's a good amount of outdoor seating which was perfect on a warm October day.

Mario G.

Yelp
The presentation of the pizza is fantastic, the overall quality leaves much to be desired, especially for the price. For Detroit style there is a big difference between burnt crispy edges and everything is burnt. This was more toward the latter.

Sam D.

Yelp
Excellent spot! The small detroit pizzas were enough for three meals for one person. Excellent service and I really liked receiving the text when the order was ready. Can't wait to come back and try tavern style

Reilly M.

Yelp
The food is OK. But that's were the pros end. The staff does a horrible job setting proper expectations about the wait time of the food. 40 minutes turns into an hour and 17 minutes, judging by the faces of others waiting for their food, and the attitude of the person behind the counter when asking about estimated time remaining, this is all too common. The beer menu is pretty decent, but it's served in a can, and you can enjoy it in an echoy room upstairs surrounded screaming children, but that's only if you can find a place to it. Edited to respond: Yes, it's a small fatality and a small business. And Kudos to you for doing the damn thing. If someone would've said, "hey we had some stuff happen back here, give us a few" I would've probably left with a ~4 star experience. You've got decent pizza, you've got a central location Albeit small. If you took the price and did 1.5x and had some servers serve drinks in cold glasses, and brought out breadsticks out as an appetizer. I don't think anyone would really mind the wait.

Hannah F.

Yelp
Detroit style pizza is my favorite so whenever I find a place that has it, I have to try it. Futuro is one of my favs! It's a well made, good quality pizza. The breadsticks are also a must for me. Each time I've been in to pick up my pizza, the employees have been super friendly and interactive. The last time I went, I ordered online and my card was accidentally charged twice. Without my even calling, it was fixed very quickly! I appreciate that. Always had nothing but positive experiences at Futuro!

Jeff A.

Yelp
The pizza was really good and the service was great. Would recommend trying if you havent.

Jenna B.

Yelp
We've been looking for Detroit style pizza in Indy and decided to try out Futuro. Pizza was great! The sauce had a lot of flavor. I felt like for what you got, the prices were very reasonable. The pizza reheats very well.

Cj U.

Yelp
The classic Detroit style was amazing! The bacon and basil was killer as a tavern style pizza. Friendly service at the counter made it worth the wait.

Ashley E.

Yelp
Ordered a half and half from futuro last night with half spotted pig (with a minor change or 2) and half pepperoni, meatball, and extra sauce. it was absolutely delicious! love the outdoor tables with a great view of the city. also bonus point for having canned diet dr. pepper. can't wait to try more pizzas there!

Matthew S.

Yelp
Ordered basil bacon Detroit style and 16 inch plain cheese tavern style. This was my first time trying Detroit style pizza. With the toppings, I appreciate that they are trying something new and having some unique toppings like the spicy honey. That said, the small pizza is still a lot of food. Very easy to split between two or even three people. The tavern style pizza was very good, but I actually enjoyed it even more the following day and dipping it into the house marinara sauce. There is an upstairs dining area for dine-in, and outdoor seating during the warmer weather. Kind of tucked into the old Angie's List campus, but once you find it you can't miss it.

Asad R.

Yelp
I got the small bacon basil pizza and it was great! It was the perfect size for the two of us and the flavors went together so well. My favorite part was the ricotta swirl on top. It was the perfect complement to the red sauce and huge bacon pieces. The price wasn't bad either for a gourmet style pizza. I would definitely come here again and suggest it to anyone in the area.

Mariam W.

Yelp
Normally I don't write reviews after the first visit to a restaurant but I had to write to say the pizza here is PHENOMENAL. We ordered the small Bacon and Basil for two adults and two toddlers. It was exactly enough for all of us and the price was very, very reasonable. Presentation of the pizza itself.... A+. It almost looked like a confection. Why not five stars? Well I'm a real stickler for cleanliness and the bathroom here was DISGUSTING. When you have a toddler cleanliness is even more important for so many reasons. I won't give details but it was clear the toilet had not been clean in a good long while or at least not a cleaning of all surfaces. Really put a damper on my 'good food mood'. Second reason for knocking off a star.... very little indoor seating that isn't up a stair case. Plenty of outdoor seating, which is nice but it was 95 degrees outside on the day we visited. And do pizza and hot weather go.... together? Not for me. We snagged the only street level table in the air conditioning, thank goodness!! We ordered our pizza at 4:30pm on a Sunday and minutes later there was a long queue. Expect to wait to order. Expect to wait for the pizza to arrive to you. Unless you are early bird eaters like we are (thanks to kids with a 7pm bedtime).

Colleen B.

Yelp
Futuro is the best pizza in Indianapolis, or maybe Indiana, or maybe the Midwest. It could even be better than Buddy's in Detroit. Really, it's that good. Plus, staff is super kind and it's a good vibe in the shop. I am very grateful that they are in the neighborhood.

Mary S.

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem and if you live in the burbs, it's well worth a trip. This family owned business takes the pizza making business to a whole new level! They specialize in Detroit-style pizza, as well as the best breadsticks EVER! I got the Super pizza that comes with many different toppings including sausage, pepperoni and tons of veggies such as onions, green pepper & mushrooms. My dinner partner loved his choice - the Buffalo Chicken pizza! They offer indoor and outdoor dining and the service was fast and impeccable! I think the pictures included with this post substantiate my high rating of this restaurant -- plus it feels great to support a small locally owned restaurant!

Matt S.

Yelp
The $15 lunch special is an amazing value and their Detroit style pizza has crispy crunchy edges and lots of flavor. I'll be back 100%!

Michelle V.

Yelp
Amazing VEGAN deep dish option - highly recommend the veggie sausage add-on. If you're there on weekend /busy time - you will have to wait, may also want to check on order after 20-30mins.... Found ours was waiting there without notice

Jared C.

Yelp
Futuro Atmosphere: cool and hip aesthetic with the kitchen and order counter being on the first floor and the dinning up stairs. It's seat yourself and you'll get a text when your order is ready. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Pizza took 30 minutes. Meal: the small Detroit style cheese pizza and order of the breadsticks. Pizza had great crust and was a good size for two people. Breadsticks were good too and very long. There is parm packets but they are made of plastic and we could not open them. They have tavern style and we would go back to try that. Drinks are bottled and in a cooler. Solid pizza, great environment. Overall 5/5 and you definitely have to come

Heather G.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! The pizza was perfect, the red sauce is made in-house. Lots of seating. Friendly service. And a great lunch deal!

Tyanna M.

Yelp
This is a hidden little gem on the eastside just outside of downtown Indy. There was plenty of parking as we pulled up and there was a laid-back vibe as we entered the area to order. Chris waited on us at the ordering counter and he was super friendly! He also answered our questions as this was the first time we were here. Also, in discussing what we were getting a customer reminded me about the option for the twice baked crust as I wanted mine super crispy! So, we ordered the tavern style twice baked with half cheese and half pepperoni. We also ordered a Detroit style Spotted Pig which was bacon, jalapeno, goat cheese, ricotta, hot honey drizzle, pecorino Romano, and house made red sauce. In addition to that we ordered breadsticks with all the sauces, LOL there were only 3 of us! They took my phone number to text us when the order was ready. We grabbed a seat at a table on the outside patio. We grabbed a small metal table first but then decided there was no way all our food would fit on the table so we moved to a wooden picnic table. It took a little while to get our order, they were busy but not too long as we were in no hurry. Everything looked delicious! We settled in to eat. Loved the breadsticks as they were huge and garlicky in the best way. I liked the garlic butter best and I believe my kids liked the cheese best. Both pizzas were really good and I enjoyed my thin crust on the tavern pizza. On the Spotted Pig it was sweeter than expected especially since it had jalapeno and a hot honey drizzle, maybe the whipped ricotta was sweet or the red sauce? I don't know but we still enjoyed both pizzas. Next time we will try different pizzas and definitely get the breadsticks again. They also carry Ash and Elm ciders.

Joanne Y.

Yelp
Yummy! It was my friend's birthday and she loves pizza and wanted to try a new pizza place. She has a 1 year old, so we offered to pick it up and bring it over! They have a few parking spots available in the back and when we went to pick up, the place looked packed! We did reheat it in the oven since the place is sort of far from her place. But it was delicious. We had the Bacon and Basil (Detroit style), Tavern Super, and the Breadsticks. We all loved both pizzas. It was so good that we devoured both large pizzas amongst the 5 of us! If only I lived closer to downtown - but if I'm ever downtown and craving pizza, I know where I'll be going!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Detroit style pizza is the best kinda pizza! A lil difficult to find (use imaps not google maps, guys) otherwise love the set up, food, vibe

Niki B.

Yelp
Detroit-style pizza that's won many awards, including Yelp's Top 100 Pizza Spots in the US 2023. OH YEAH!!! This is also the last meal I had before I went into labor (LOL - not related at all, but it definitely brings back alllllll the memories for me). I absolutely loved that I could order online and customize everything. Their crust and sauce are always vegan, and you can order any of the pizzas (thin or Detroit) with gluten-free dough. The website tells you exactly how many people each pizza feeds, the size, and all the ingredients included. You can build your own pizza with toppings and choose to add them to the whole pizza, or just the right or left side. How awesome is that?! It's such a good website and ordering system. It even tells you approximately when your meal will be ready. The lunch deal looks amazing. It's one pizza box with one huge slice of Detroit-style pizza, two breadsticks, and a sauce of choice for $15. It's available from 11am-3pm, Mon-Fri only. It looks absolutely incredible and what I'm going to try next. This time around, I went for a GF thin crust pizza with tons of veggie toppings. I absolutely need to get the Spotted Pig or Bacon Basil Detroit-style pizza next time, as those are some of their most popular items. The owners here are great and they post special pizzas on their IG from time to time. There's free parking outside and you walk in the door on the main level. There's some indoor seating, so you can eat there or takeout. Definitely come try!

Nicole V.

Yelp
We came for dinner. There was a line, but thankfully we were able to order because they eventually ended up running out of ingredients. There's a seating area upstairs and a few tables and chairs outside. Everyone has a preference on how they like their red sauce to taste; this one tasted a little bitter- not what I prefer. The pizzas were overall still good, very filling.

Jake M.

Yelp
This place has emerged as one of my favorite pizza spots in indy, and #1 overall that is non neopolitan style. First few visits I ordered detroit style, which hits spot. The past few have been thin crust to satisfy picky children. I did not expect to be so impressed by their thin crust, but I was very much wrong. It's delicious. The sauce has great flavor and complements high quality toppings well. Basics, sausage and pepperoni, are craft in their own rights, as they are sourced from local businesses. The breadsticks are enormous and covered with parmesan cheese. These look better than they taste, reminiscent of larger pizza hut sticks. Pizza the real deal though. Low key great place to dine outside with skyline view on their patio (inside seating as well).

Kelly S.

Yelp
I've been trying to find the best pizza in Indianapolis for quite some time now and this just might be it. First time trying Detroit style pizza and wow did it hit the spot. The crust is buttery, salty and crunchy and super delicious. I chose a build your own and got sausage and basil as my topping. It was so flavorful and balanced well with the thicker crust. The restaurant has some seating upstairs and outside and fun decor too. I took mine to go, but there was plenty of seating if I had wanted to eat in. Parking is a little limited and I wonder what the story is with the old diner next to the lot too. Going to have to go look that one up. Highly recommend that you stop in Futuro for a slice of Detroit right here in Indy.

Marie F.

Yelp
I kept telling myself that I've been wanting to try Futuro and that day has finally come! Note - I almost didn't get this picture because I was too excited to start eating So I didn't get it in all its glory in the box. I got the Spotted Pig with and order of Breadsticks. The crust was thick, crispy, and had so much flavor. I am usually a thin pizza girl, but this pizza has me questioning that now. The bacon was sweet and crispy and you got a little bit in every bite. The ricotta cheese really was the cherry on top. It had a subtle sweetness but also a bit savory to balance everything out. The breadsticks were amazing. I have only had a breadstick similar to this and this is how I like them. Airy, plenty of cheese, and you always feel you can eat the whole order and still have room for more! I dipped then in their cheese sauce (as anyone from Indiana would) it was the perfect consistency and had a little kick to it which I am always a fan of. Futuro is now definitely on my top pizza places I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good slice in Indy.

Yelp
I've been here once before and didn't love it but this visit completely changed my mind. I love Futuro! The staff is super nice and friendly, the interior is cool, modern, and casual. And the pizza is sooo good. My first visit was with a group of coworkers and I didn't like the specialty pizzas we chose because I didn't speak up. Now that I was able to get what I wanted, the food blew my mind. The bread is so good and crunchy on the edges, the cheese is tasty, and i got honey on top of my ricotta that was just delicious. I kept thinking about it the day after I ate it.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in the city. Excellent Detroit style pizza. Service is always quick and friendly. Would absolutely recommend to any pizza connoisseurs or anyone looking for a quality meal. Side note- the breadsticks are really good as well!

Yelp
Great Detroit style pizza! If you haven't had Detroit style pizza, you should give it a try. It has the sauce on the top and thick. crispy crust. We got pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. Incredible. Buttery thick crispy crust, fresh sauce and tons of toppings. Falling off the pizza. Our Caesar salads were also really good. The Caesar dressing was great, and the salad was very fresh. An industrial building nestled into the old Angie's list buildings. Great service and a fun, downtown atmosphere. My highest recommendation.

Yelp
Service was fantastic !! Detroit style pizza was unclear - was it deep dish ? Chicago style, deep dish pizza was mentioned but not on menu !!!!! Difficult to eat Detroit style texture pizza ! Hard to find store - need store front on street

Yelp
I had an incredible experience at Futuro. The food was amazing and I loved the atmosphere. The hot honey and ricotta was to die for!!! The man at the counter was super helpful when knowing what to order. I also found the menu to be very helpful in understanding the size of the pizza and how many it would feed! I can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
I just had another fantastic experience at Futuro. I recommend the Spotted Pig and prefer it Detroit Style. So good. It's worth navigating through all the road construction and bridge people to get yourself a square of that sweet tasty pie.
