If you eat here, your life will be forever changed. Every meal after this one will be held to a new standard. When I first tried the Chicken Caesar, I had no idea how much it would impact me. I know it sounds dramatic - it’s just a meal, right? But it’s more than that. It’s the people who work there, the care and creativity poured into every menu item, and the excitement of their weekly drops and collaborations. It’s a place where everyone feels welcome, and that warmth shines through in everything they do.

This was my first time visiting, as I was in the area on business and decided to stop by for lunch. I’m so glad I did—this place truly did not disappoint. I ordered the barbecue chicken crepe and opted for the gluten-free version. Let me just say, I’ve had my fair share of gluten-free crepes before, but this was by far the best one I’ve ever tasted. The crepe itself had an incredible texture—soft, yet slightly crispy on the edges—and the flavor was like an explosion in my mouth. Absolutely delicious. The barbecue chicken filling was also gluten-free (I asked, and the staff kindly double-checked for me). It was packed generously with chicken, and they also added some fresh cherry tomatoes—although I only got a couple, which was perfect for me since I’m not a huge fan. Combined with a good amount of fresh lettuce, everything came together beautifully. The dish was flavorful, satisfying, and left me full without feeling heavy. As a heads-up, the prices are on the higher side, especially if you're opting for the gluten-free crepe, which adds a $3 surcharge (not including tax). I also got a bottled soda, which was a nice touch and paired well with the meal. Despite the higher cost, the quality and flavor made it well worth it. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting. There’s plenty of seating inside, and they also have a spacious outdoor patio area that’s just as tidy. It might be public, but it’s well-maintained and right next to the shop, offering a nice option for outdoor dining. Customer service here is top-notch. The gentleman who helped me was friendly, helpful, and offered suggestions based on his own favorites. He even went out of his way to confirm the gluten-free status of the barbecue sauce, which I really appreciated—especially since I was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance. While I wouldn’t say this place is entirely celiac-safe (since they cook gluten and gluten-free crepes on the same surface), it’s a great option for those with a gluten sensitivity. Parking is free on the street, though it might take a few minutes to find a spot. One minor downside: they don’t have restrooms inside, and I didn’t notice any public restrooms nearby, so plan accordingly. All in all, this place is fantastic. I will absolutely be back to try more items on the menu next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a flavorful, gluten-free-friendly meal.

First time at Gabino's Creperie and I am not disappointed. The vibe was relaxed, the service was nice, and the food was delicious. It's a little bit of a wait for your order, but it is worth it. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken and the Banana Nutella. I have to go back to try some of the other flavors!

Its not your traditional creperie but the buffalo chicken and smashburger one is to die for. Definitely try the fresh pomegranate juice thats authentic to argentina here its delicious. I think its called jalisco? They have indoor and outdoor seating. The owner is very humble and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Street parking available. Bring your own plates it can be messy in the cup provided.

We are definitely going back. Gluten free pesto chicken was perfectly fresh, full of flavor and packed with goodness, service was amazing, atmosphere was impeccable. Try it!

My experience there was very nice! I had came with two of my friends and this was the very first place we stopped by. Upon arriving I was the first one to place my order, I'd call for a chicken pesto crepe sandwich, an orange poppi and a strawberry milkshake. However there was a bit of a silly confusion on my part when it came down to ordering the milkshake it wasn't exactly put in but the lady who took my order was very sweet and it was fixed immediately. :) The decor there was very simple but elegant which was very much appreciated.!

Crêpe Monstrosity!!! I had the Chicken Ranch Crêpe this time around and now it's a new favorite for me, next to the Buffalo Chicken Crêpe! The crêpes are filling and will activate every tastebud. A Must Try

I have been a few times now and am so impressed with how delicious and unique these are. The staff is so friendly and I dig the aesthetic of the place. My favorite is the club and then of course a sweet one too.

Streetfront building at the end of downtown. There was a lot of construction nearby as of Mar 2025. We were easily able to find free 2-hr street parking on a Saturday. It was eerily like a ghost town almost. Indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the register and they call your name over the speaker if you're outside. There's a pick up window there, and the restroom is around back - you have to go outside to get to it. Casual atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. This place highlights the fact that they were on a Guy Fieri show! We got 3 different savory crepes and the one sweet crepe on their menu. All were great, but super messy! Big servings are appreciated. Ran us in the $70 range, but plenty of food for three adults and a toddler. We went home with leftovers.

Wow amazing spot for a quick grab and go or sit down. 10/10 good all our food was delicious, the young man on the register was helpful and shoutout Jose in the kitchen pleasant and friendly. The decor is minimal but so aesthetically pleasing . I loved the energy, will definitely be back. I hear the second location in Palm Springs has been open 4 years, gotta visit soon.

YELP SHORT ANSWER: yes visit and Fridays are best for their special Cheese Steak crepe, at this point only offered on Fridays for $22. Gambino's is part of the new trendy Indio scene, very modern and a fresh unique concept. Lots of great renovation happening in Indio with some exciting higher-end restaurants opening soon so go check it out and spend the afternoon day-drinking and shopping while buzzed. LOCATION: excellent with a lot to do after stuffing your face with a humongous crepe. FACILITY: new, open concept, clean. Indoor and outdoor seating. Check hours of operation was 11am to 3pm. MENU: simple, ask questions but pretty sure everything is good here as the super secret sauce is smothered on everything I believe. FOOD PREP: very professional in the process from order to delivery. An open kitchen concept is interesting to watch and it works here. FOOD QUALITY: very good which has people lining up outside to enjoy, again simple. WAITSTAFF: great reception from the owner I believe, more than happy to explain and make suggestions. Since this was our first visit so we were the idiots trying to overthink the menu. OVERALL VALUE: well now this is expensive but the chopped cheese crepe cone thing is huge. Way to much for me so thankfully we shared. Our crepe was $18 as we added avocado. I'll return to enjoy a few other items like the veggie! TIP: we visited early on a Saturday and only had a few people ahead of us. While the ordering process is quick, waiting for your made to order food can take some time which is why there may be big lines at peak times. If you're in a hurry plan accordingly, after ordering we waited over 10 minutes at an off peak time for our crepe but a great experience.

Okay, maybe I'll express myself a little bit... Marcel & Gabino's rocks. I mean rocks. Had the pleasure of meeting the man Marcel himself without realizing he's the humble and happy face & brains behind this creative spin on savory crepes. And what did we talk about? Baseball and the Dodgers of course, because he was sporting a cool chocolate brown Dodgers hat that caught my attention. And my Mom's too. That's right my Mom. She eats gluten-free (and loves the Dodgers) I had been waiting to surprise her and bring her here ever since I discovered this place from Diners, Drive-in's & Dives and been following all the 5-star reviews of his newborn location in Indio, that's deserving of the Rookie of the Year Award. What did we order you ask? Mom: Gluten-Free Chicken Caesar Crepe (dairy-free) without cheese baked in to the crepe, and no cheese sauce too. And tho their "secret sauce" is dairy-free, she sampled it before placing the order (Marcel's idea) but it has a bit of a kick of spice she wasn't in the mood for. But Mom still LOVED every bite of her crepe cone...and can't wait to go back. Here's some of Mom's greatest hits: "Wow this is really good" "The chicken is so good" "There's so much chicken" "This has so much flavor with just the Caesar's dressing" "I can't believe how crispy they're able to make a gluten-free crepe" "Good thing you got extra napkins" "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" "Thank you for bringing me here" "I can't wait to come back" My Choice: I went with the Chicken Pesto Crepe without cheese sauce, with the "secret sauce" on the side. Tho I don't eat too much gluten & dairy, I wanted the full effect of my first crepe here, that's cooked with cheese into the outside, because I've never experienced any crepes served like this. And glad I did because it was bursting & packed with so much flavor (even without the cheese sauce) and the "secret sauce" on the side -- which is kinda like a spicy mayo that's the consistentcy & color of tarter sauce. Every bite was absolutely Triple-D-Licious. Even the bites without any sauce because the chicken pesto has the perfecto Italian flavor that's fantastico. Along with the crispy crepe cone and the fresh and crisp romaine lettuce, it's the prefect combo of savory, crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. It truly is one-of-a-kind delight. A special shoutout to Mason, who I had spoken with on the phone a few days prior, to ask some questions about their crepes and dietary restrictions. He told me to ask for him when we decide to come in because he wanted to meet me & mom. Though the inside decor has a cool & comfy vibe, Mom & I wanted to sit outside on the patio on the side of their building and enjoy the beautiful first day of spring. The patio overlooks a small park next-door, train tracks with moving trains on the other side, and an amazing painted wall of flowers on the side of their corner building. After we finished eating, Mason came outside to ask how we enjoyed our crepes and some more playful banter. Couldn't ask for more kindness & charisma from this charming and eager young man. Mom agreed. As you can see & read, I really enjoyed myself & lunch. Gabino's Creperie propelled itself into the top 5 of my favorite things I've eaten in the Coachella Valley. I told Marcel that when we struck up another conversation before leaving...and told him I'll definitely be back with my wife and want to try the Turkey Crepe next time...and he says "that's my favorite one." But wait there's more: rumor has it the Cheesesteak Crepe that's only served on Fridays (seen on tv with Guy Fieri) is outrageous and a must...so I'll need to try that one too. Little did I know: because I checked-in via Yelp upon arrival, the next day I received an email from Gabino's offering me $5 off my next visit (expires in 30 days) Great marketing. If you're still reading: make sure to leave on the brown bag paper wrapping surrounding the crepe cone. Because the oil from the cheese on the outside of the crepe can get a little messy & greasy. I usually don't like grease with my food. But this entire experience was well worth the grease on my fingers...and the one drop that landed on my lap ;-) so make sure to ask for extra napkins. Whether you like crepes or not, I highly recommend you give Gabino's Creperie a try and decide for yourself. First time customer and Gabino's did not disappoint! Great selection of savory crepes. Great portion that is fresh and full of flavor! I could only eat half even though I wanted to eat the whole thing! The outside cheese skirt on the crepe itself is chef's kiss! The crunch, the saltiness, everything about it.....delicious! Service was friendly. I love watching them make the crepes! So mesmerizing! Love the laidback atmosphere. Nice and cool inside the dining area. Very clean and inviting. Will definitely be back! Gabino's is a must visit!

Had no idea what to expect, but this wasn't it! What a great surprise! Absolutely delish. Filling too. Ambience is industrial interesting. There is patio seating, but we sat inside. Seems to be getting good traffic even with the challenge of street construction. Looking for something different? Give Gabino's a try! Be sure to check their hours in advance!

This place is so great! When I walked in I was greater by the staff, they were so friendly and made me feel welcomed. I had got a cheddar and turkey Crepe and added pickles and jalapeños and it was delicious! I will definitely come back to try some other crepes. Parking was easy and inside was very clean.

I absolutely love crepes and eat it all the time but Gabino's crepes are so unique. If they had these somewhere near a sporting event or concert, people would go nuts for it. The outside crusted cheese is so unique and delicious. We ordered online and our crepes were ready for us within 15-20 mins and packaged for an easy pickup. We ordered: 1. BBQ Chicken: This was my main one that I ate and I loved it. Large pieces of chicken with very high quality flavorful BBQ sauce. I love the texture of the crepe and the crunchiness of the cheese on the outside. 2. Chicken Pesto: I only had a small piece and it was very delicious. Nice pesto flavor. 3. Cesar: Also just had a small piece but it was also delicious! Cesar salad flavor with nice crunchy texture from the outside cheese. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, it's worth the price for the crepe. The crepes are huge and very full stuffed with toppings. 4 people shared the 3 crepes and it was plenty of food for all of us. Everything inside was high quality and delicious. Pickup and service was excellent. Inside looks completely new. Street parking outside. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area visiting again.

The crepes were really delicious and rich. I loved the crispy cheese on the outside. My spouse's chopped cheese could have used a side of jalapeño or pickle to cut the richness but I thought my chicken pesto was just right. I do wish we'd ordered the birria special to try it too but that would have been too much food. The service was friendly and the space was clean. Definitely a good stop.

What's this I see, a 5-star rated creperie? I love a good crepe, but can one be that life changing that it warrants a perfect score on Yelp. Simply put, yes, it is. I don't know how they did this, but they made a crepe that was both soft and fluffy but super crunchy making for a texture experience I'm not used to outside of a fine dining scenario. I had a chicken pesto crepe. It was spectacular. I contemplated turning round and getting another one but I was in a bit of a rush. If I find myself in the desert again I will be returning for this crepe. How good was it? It's in my top 5 things I've ever eaten.

I absolutely love crepes and I was super excited to try this gem. The ambiance was cute and clean to start. We arrived around 11ish on a Sunday and there was a couple parties sitting down. We ordered and got our food within 10mins or so. My husband got the chicken, I got a bbq chicken salad and we also got the bananas and Nutella. We decided to order food to go for our kids and at this point the restaurant was half full and 2 parties ordering. We ordered our food and as we sat the restaurant looked like it was visibly getting busier. 30mins passed and still no food. I checked on our order and the cashier said they had too many online orders. Come find out they hadn't even started on ours. After 45mins ours was finally ready. Because we had to wait so long, the cashier gave us a drink on the house. Just for recommendation purposes. When you have an indoor dining that is getting packed, might have 2 work on dining in orders to keep up and after you catch up crank the Togo online orders. So why the 3 stars, 1. Was the wait, 45mins is ridiculously long for 2 crepes and a salad. 2. The banana with Nutella crepe tasted awful, the cheese they put on the outer crepe clearly was not CLEANED WELL before making the sweet crepe. Cheese, Nutella and bananas do not go well.

This place is life changing! Saw it in yelp and decided to give it a try, best decision ever! My boyfriend and I got the chicken BBQ and chicken caesar crepes and both were 10/10. The service was also amazing, everyone was so helpful and sweet! I'll be recommending this place to everyone and will definitely be coming back with more friends! I can't wait to try more things on their menu. This place is seriously a must-try, there is no food in the desert like it. I was working near by, looked up a place to have lunch and stumbled upon Gabino's. Walked in the staff was cool as hell, recommended the cheese steak crepe. Stopped in while passing through town. The service was great. The crepes are savory with the perfect amount of crunch. We had the chicken Caesar and the chopped cheese. Both fresh and delish. They can be a little messy so just squeeze it like a sandwich and dive in. The watermelon lemonade was yummy. They even offer wet naps to clean up after if needed.

Stumbled across this place as we entered downtown Indio. It's a vibe for sure. Love the industrial concrete look, and as soon as you walk in you can see the crepes being made. The staff was very friendly, and the owner was even working behind the counter and greeted us in like we were at his house. Got the chopped cheese and the bbq chicken. The chopped cheese was phenomenal. I mean, mind blown. The bbq chicken was amazing. The way they put the cheese crust on their dough of the crepe is such a nice touch. The dough doesn't feel like a traditional crepe batter--it's way better. Can't wait to go back and try everything. This concept, business, and service is phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Better experience this time I arrived about 15 minutes before opening and was the first in line thankfully. I'm telling you the wait is worth it. I waited about 10 minutes for my food, not long at all. I noticed them making the crepes already while ordered. I got the buffalo chicken as usual very good. Everyone was wearing gloves or using utensils to cook which was nice.

The 1st time we ate there it was delicious. We went there again today and it was horrible, the crepe was so toasted or over fried it cut the roof of your mouth, and both of our crepes were so full of oil you could hardly eat them, and they were horrible. Not sure if we will go back. Might have been just an off day or the cook did not know what they were doing.
