Love this restaurant! I really liked the music and the atmosphere only thing I didn't like was the service, it's a hit or miss with the servers, seems like if you go when it's less busy you'll get someone that has an attitude, and if you go on a busy day you'll end up having someone with a great attitude. Other than that, food is so 😋 yummy. We constantly had to flag down our server. Or he would disappear for a hot min. Birria Tacos and so good 😗

My husband suggested I try that restaurant. I had sopes with chicken mole, and they turned out surprisingly delicious. My husband got a pan-fried steak torta. The inside of the torta was messy, with too many jalapeños, which made it look unappealing, but it tasted good. The fries were okay, though some were undercooked. Our server, Daniel, was nice and polite, but he didn’t smile at all. He looked tired and unmotivated, just focused on getting his job done. We weren’t served chips and salsa at the beginning, and Daniel didn’t explain why—he just shook his head and said no. The atmosphere was vibrant, decorative, and energetic, though there weren’t many people since we went on a Friday for a late lunch. However, the staff seemed lifeless, almost like zombies. Additionally, the smell in the restaurant was unpleasant—overpowered by a bleach-like odor, as if they had used too much bleach.

It was my very first time coming to Gabriela’s, and I was super excited to come. Especially since I know the owner is the same from Mala Vida and I absolutely love going there because the employees are all great, but I was surprised to find out that at the restaurant it was the complete opposite. Our server Esly S was beyond rude from the moment our party walked into the door. She constantly was rushing us what seemed like she just wanted to get us out of there. I had ordered the sopes and I specifically asked her if the sopes had beans because I don’t like beans and wanted them off. She told me no the sopes do not come with beans, but when my food came out there was beans all over it ?? I was so confused because I specifically asked about that. She never once came to check on us to see if we needed anything at all. Me and my cousin ordered the same drink the spicy mango licuachela but when she brought our drinks she gave us the other one we gucci guava licuachela we asked her and even showed her the menu to let her know our drinks were wrong but she said those were the mango licuachela but it definitely wasn’t. When we tried to tell her how we felt about her service she walked away while we were talking to her. Thankfully we were able to talk to the manager and express how all 6 of us felt. He listened to us and checked us out the rest of the night. As a first time customer I was really disappointed. I honestly thought I would have a better experience at a restaurant then a club ?? On the picture you can see the beans on the sopes, the servers name, and the wrong drink. I will not be returning.

The service was great, the atmosphere was good, the drinks were delicious but I definitely will not be returning for food. We spent over a hundred dollars on mostly food that literally went in the trash. We ordered fajitas and were told the corn tortillas would be toasted. They weren't, so we ended up having to order flour tortillas that were toasted. We also ordered chicken tenders for the kids, and they came out overcooked. The food was bland to say this is a Mexican restaurant, and I love Mexican food. Again, the service was wonderful, and everything else was good, but we were definitely disappointed with our main entrées. (The appetizers were better) I would only come here for drinks and appetizers!

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. The music was very loud. It was ok for us, maybe not for others. Drinks were good! Went for my birthday and had a blast!

This is a really fun place to go. The food is really good. Some nights there is a DJ and dancing and I love the music! It makes you wanna shake your hips while you are eating!

I told them I am allergic to cilantro and ordered food without cilantro. However, one dish still came with cilantro. I also found one chicken wing not well cooked. Their first reaction is denial and then give me a $1.8 deduction on my bill for the not well-cooked chicken wing.

Came during the week, so wasn't to busy. Our waitress was super friendly! The food was top notch!! But the real winner is the drinks, they be super strong! Lol which is perfect!

Yelp
Full disclosure: Southpark Meadows is never a dining destination, it's usually a matter of convenience if I dine here. Today, it was a destination. After I saw the owner profiled on KXAN, I was happy to give my business to this place. I had no idea what to expect, but when I saw that it was a Mexican-owned, woman-owned establishment - and that she has roots in the RGV - the food just had to be OK for it to be worth my time. Spoiler - it was better than OK. First and foremost, homemade corn tortillas. Good ones, at that. Not enough places go through the trouble to do this, but when done right, it's a great touch. Here, it's done right. I had the Rajas con Crema and was fully satisfied with its execution. It was not something I expected to see on a menu here (as in Austin), so I will definitely be back now that I have a spot for this personal favorite. My daughter had the Steak Gringas and really enjoyed them. I tried them, and it was one of the most McAllen things I've ever tasted in Austin. I can't explain it, but IYKYK. My wife enjoyed her Mole enchiladas - it was a generous serving and it will probably be my breakfast tomorrow. No complaints there. The aesthetic here is a bit much for my aging GenX eyes. My teen daughter dug it, though, and that's worth it for me. If I like the food and she thinks it's cool, that's a win/win. As for the service, it was exceptional. The waitress was not only polite and professional but genuinely friendly. She shared with us how much she likes working here and that the management here respects and backs up the wait staff. I will happily return here just knowing that. All in all, it exceeded all expectations for a Thursday night escapade. I will definitely be back and bring friends and family along. The location is incredibly convenient and the food surpasses all Southpark Meadows expectations.

Yelp
Service was good but the food was bland The beans had no seasoning, the rice was not flavorful, and the tacos were also lacking flavor. I think this place must be know for drinks and appetizers? I did like their corn/flour tortillas. They seemed homemade. 5 stars for the tortillas. Food is a 2 stars. Maybe I'll hit them up at a happy hour and try their drinks and appetizers.

Yelp
One any given weekday there are always open tables so there's not waiting. The weekends are definitely much more busy and there's usually a wait for tables. My margaritas have been too salty/sour at times, not the best margs in town. The bacon wrapped jalapenos are a hit or miss with the heat levels. It probably depends on the season. The ceviche pescado playero was more limey than I had expected since it was in a red sauce. My favorite dish has been the camarones encabronados, the spicy sauce the shrimp is in was delicious! The place is definitely instagrammable with all of the neon lights and fun wallpaper. One certain days they have DJs and karaoke which is fun to watch and listen to! There's also a large outdoor patio where I've brought my dog to.

Yelp
This place is ok--the vibe is really fun to grab a couple of drinks out--the food was ok and service was kind of slow. We did go at 6pm on a Friday so it may have been the wrong time

Andrea L.

Yelp
We came here for a late lunch and I ordered the Biria Empanadas. I paid $15 for what you see and what I ended up not finishing. The empanada was extremely dry and the consome (dip) was watered down. I've been here before and it wasn't the same. The more and more I come I feel like the quality/taste of food has decreased. It's not worth the money anymore. Regarding the environment, I noticed the greenery hasn't been taken care of.

Sujey L.

Yelp
I loved the food and the drinks were really tasty as well! We ordered the Queso Fundido, The Birria Ramen, and The Birria Grilled Cheese. We also ordered the Aguachile Micheladas. We were Very satisfied! Any time I visit one of Gabrielas establishments I received THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone! I love going to Gabrielas when someone comes into town to visit me. They always love it just as much as I do and end up telling me they want to come back to Austin not to visit me but to go to Gabrielas haha. The environment is always great! It's pet friendly too! We brought our dog and sat outside in the patio.

Yelp
I've visited Gabriela's a couple of times and I loved it for a different reason each time. I initially visited in 2021, either for drinks, the music or the food. The last time I visited was Thursday, May 9th, 2024 with a large party. It was a blast both of the times I visited. I always feel like I came on the right day (both were Thursdays). As you enter, you're immediately stricken with a pop-style Miami-type vibe as the colors and neon lights jump off the walls and ceilings. The furniture, décor and design of the area isn't unique but, the array of plants, TV's in every direction with a mix of booths, bar stools and tables, it still has an authentic Mexican feel with an elevated ambiance. The waiting area is ever-so quaint but considering how busy it gets, they really maximize the space. Apparently Thursday nights are the best day to go. There's live music of some sort: whether it's a DJ, a band or a mix of both. You'll get dinner, a show and they clear the standing room so you can even dance! Outside of the direct service and beautiful guests that they host, their menu is all inclusive. As a true authentic restaurant, they have a variety of Mexican dishes. If Spanish isn't your first language, then choosing may be difficult but don't be shy! The menu is gringo-friendly with an English description of each item. They also have a selection of more common plates as well. I've enjoyed the Emmoladas de Pollo and Choriqueso. The mole sauce on the Emmolada was made excellently but it wasn't savory (as the dish isn't) but the meal was still great. I recall the Choriqueso as being amazing! Best of all are the drinks! You can't leave without trying at least one of their cocktails, for under $10?? The Margarita Flight is worth every penny. They're beautifully presented and they taste even better. Also, you can't go wrong with any margarita on the menu, as expected! Gabriela's is a true staple. This is the only location I'm familiar with and they're doing everything right. It's a great gathering place for fun, hunger and culture. The music is great, the people are wonderful and the location is versatile. If you are longing for a cultural experience, I would highly suggest stopping by and embracing the range of latino-type vibes offered here.

Yelp
Gabrielas is more Mexican than Texmex. Feels right, tastes right. Everything is seasoned right so you can taste the herbs and freshness. Even the (house made?) chips had a nice seasoning. The "chorizado" appetizer was excellent, with a slightly chrisp bottom on the cheese and house made corn tortillas. As our standard practice at a new place, we both had enchiladas. Beef was seasoned perfectly and with unique spice highlights. Hubby had rhe chicken and the dill crema sauce was on another level. "Best chicken enchiladas I've ever had" Service as friendly and the restaurant is brightly colored. Inviting and fun experience. You can also order alacart items like a taco or other to round out your meal or family order. And the bar is tambien! In Texas ice in drinks matters... Gabrielas has that great pinky finger size soft ice. Awesome

Yelp
Loved this place when I was visiting in Austin. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but food and drinks were really good. We got queso fundido, birria tacos, chilaquiles, torta, and all were so savory, juicy, and yummy. Drinks were great too. Plenty of room parking in the South Austin location. I highly recommend, especially for Bad Bunny/ reggaeton fans

Rachael Y.

Yelp
Came to Gabriella's for a girls night and it was so much fun! We shared the chips and salsa and the Aguachiles. Plenty of food for the two of us! we sat at the bar and had no trouble ordering drinks and food. We came a little early to get a good spot before the band started. While looking for an option for girls tonight I found that Gabriela's has bands very frequently as well as DJs so there's always something going on that is fun and energetic! The drinks were phenomenal and we only needed a couple!

Anna W.

Yelp
The mini tacos and horchata with rum is amazing! I stopped in here by myself and ended up meeting so many friendly people at the bar. This would be a great spot for a brunch group as the restaurant is decorated super cute.

Hepzibah D.

Yelp
I had a margarita martini and it was just ok. We ordered an appetizer chorizo queso fundido and the cheese stuck together. It wasn't easy to dip chips in it. I had to use a knife to cut the cheese and put in a tortilla. It was an annoying dish to share. It didn't taste bad. The service and ambience was excellent.

Nhu L.

Yelp
This is theee Gabriela's to try out! This one is much bigger and I would say better than the downtown location. So many drink and food variety here! I recommend getting the margaritas flight to try them all! I do also recommend making a reservation on the weekends because it does get popular here. Great for big groups!

Allyson K.

Yelp
I am Mexican, I come from living in a border town and going to Mexico consistently. When I moved to Austin I was worried I wouldn't have authentic food. My worries were put to rest, Gabriela's has every Mexicans ambience dream, it is extremely lively. The menu is huge, you can have various cravings and satisfy them all!! I recommend this place for girls night out, friends night, or even a lively date night away from the city. They often bring a live cumbia band and you can dance and drink the night away.

Barbie M.

Yelp
No direct vegan options. They are willing to veganize the calabacitas tacos. But the tacos are on one flour tortila and it falls apart. The service is pretty bad. No one comes around in any meaningdul intervals. Was there for a party of 6 only 2 of us were there. And ibstead of knowing there was a bug party coming they kept seating tables of 2 at 4 tops. Just very unhelpful when we called in advance never said anything abiut the whole party needing to be present so when everyone showed up after waiting for other other people to show up it was an additonal 20 minute wait and we were crammed on a 4 top right next to the mariachi bamd when we had 2 little kids. Absolutely zero common sense with seating.

Christina R.

Yelp
Came here for the first time on a Friday night (6/28/24) around 8 PM. This place was like a club and a restaurant combined. As expected for the time on a Friday night they were very busy and I noticed the couple small groups in front of me had a few minute wait before they seated, but I was by myself and was seated almost immediately by a very nice hostess. The restaurant was very loud just like a club, which was the vibe I was looking for since I needed a social setting. Inside had tons of interesting things to look at including neon signs everywhere. It is slightly more upscale/fancy than your average Mexican restaurant, portions seemed more modest than what you see in many Mexican restaurants. Server was a bit moody/unavailable but got the job done (I was fully expecting to be prioritized less over the larger parties, and was correct). I ordered the shrimp quesadilla ("tacos gobernador") and it was satisfying; I subbed cole slaw for rice and wished I hadn't because the rice was rather bland (the beans it came with weren't my favorite either as they were a bit soupy). Thankfully the quesadillas were filling other own. Other things to note -chips and salsa are not automatically given here/free -spacious outdoor seating area available -plenty of parking available but it gets a little crowded around dinner/rush hour so you might have to walk a bit -there are several stairs leading up the restaurant, in case accessibility is important

Pam M.

Yelp
This is the second time we have 'tried' to eat at Gabriella's. The first time, we were forced outside to eat. Not sure what they said to us, music was deafeningly loud. After 1.5 hours of not being waited on, we gladly left! Yesterday was for a birthday party. Even the 27 year old guest of honor was angry that the music was so dang loud. Food I would rate a 2. We each ordered the Creamy Avocado Enchiladas and the chicken was so dry, we only ate 1/8 of it. Rice - bland. Beans were a thumbs down. No one at our table of 10 liked the food. Too expensive. NOT going back. Nope. Won't do it. (We didn't even bring the leftovers home for the dog) Drinks were good. Service was great!

Benny C.

Yelp
This is NOT Tex-Mex! Don't stop here if you're expecting processed American cheese and chile con carne. I've been here once with a large group and once with my wife and the food was good and so was the service. The atmosphere is more sports bar vibes than restaurant. The music was blaring and our waitress turned it down herself because she agreed it was too loud. We will be back for a third time!

cassandra a.

Yelp
I met there for a business lunch and upon reviewing the reviews I was a bit skeptical but I'm glad I went as I got the Shrimp tacos and they were delicious!! All the waitresses were friendly and super attentive. The place has a very young hip vibe so it's a fun spot. The guacamole was delicious too! I want to come back for happy hour as the drinks look yummy and affordable!

Danielle T.

Yelp
I have been here twice and have not been disappointed with the food. I love the aesthetic and very cute vibe which is what I mainly look for! But service is still what gets me to come back. first time experience was great, the second time we had to wait a while to get any service and kept having to look for a server to order if we needed anything else. Still would love to go to the other locations and hoping for my first experience again.

Nisha P.

Yelp
The first thing you notice walking in here is definitely the vibe - it's super colorful and fun. Our waiter was really nice and helpful when we had questions about the menu. The food was decent - certainly not the best Mexican in the area - but a fun place if you're coming with a group.

Tye R.

Yelp
I've been here twice and each time have not been disappointed by the food. The drinks they serve are very delicious, they are just very small or the larger ones are made with a very light hand and taste like juice. The decor here is really cute. It's very "instagrammable" and they even have a photo op close to the door for the back patio. Seating is challenging after 6pm and there ends up being a wait.

Megan M.

Yelp
We had a great time here! We really enjoyed the ambiance, fun decor, and margarita flights. The food was good; nothing life changing, but I would go back! It's a fun place for a night out with friends for dinner and drinks. Service was good!

Rachel G.

Yelp
Wow, who knew this was such a good happy hour spot?! Most people seem to think of Gabriela's more as a brunch or dinner spot (which it is), but happy hour has a totally different vibe. Great menu with tasty, well-priced food and good drinks as well! That queso flameado is to die for. And the biggest bonus, the interior hasn't hit its club vibes yet, and the music is still at a conversational volume. I will return.

Hector C.

Yelp
My friends and I came down from alief in Houston Texas to enjoy this beautiful weekend and ate at Gabriela's, we had the birria tacos and mangonada margaritas and cucumber shots WHICH WHERE GOOD AS HECK. Def recommend this place environment was fine music and tv where fine , felt a little over stimulated but it's okeu I had fun. PS THE GIRL IN THE FOTO IS MY GOOD FRIEND GABRIELA HER @ is ggabri3la

Pritesh P.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The chicken avocado cream enchiladas were very tasty. But the service, non-existent. I went once before for dining-in and that's when I had the enchiladas mentioned above. During that time, it took us over 10 minutes to get a table, when half the restaurant side was empty. Just 2 people. This time, I just wanted to go get take out. Was on the freeway coming back towards home, so called, no one answered, called twice. Then, waited inside. Not a single person at the host's station nor did anyone acknowledge me standing there for 5 minutes to order food to go. Either establish this location as a bar only place and leave the restaurant to the downtown location. Obviously this location can't handle both.

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
I took my mom for Mother's Day dinner here and she loved it. We got the flight of margaritas and shared. We got tipsy off of them. The enchiladas, ceviche tostadas, tacos asada and drinks were delicious. We will be repeat customers. The atmosphere was fun That I felt I was on vacation elsewhere just dining there

Pearl G.

Yelp
The brunch I had was average at best. Was not a fan of the charro beans they weren't as flavorful as I wish they had been, chilaquiles weren't bad but not spectacular. The green salsa was right there with La Costena's or Herdez tomatillo salsa (ethic aisle grocery store find) again nothing wrong with it just not wowed. Restaurant looks amazing: bright, trendy, real plants everywhere giving it a nice touch. I guess I wasn't in the mood for perreo before 1pm that Saturday. This place is loud, they play all the latest Bad Bunny, bangin cumbias, and throwback tejano Classics. Evidently, live DJ's on the weekends. The drink selection looked solid. If you're trying to get the day started with a happening spot, on a liquid diet & jam out this place was meant for you.

Jana B.

Yelp
We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening around 7:30 and were seated immediately. The live DJ was playing and the circles of light hanging from the ceiling kept time to the music - a cool effect. Our waitperson, Andrea, was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Milanese Torta which was a very thin layer of beef with a slice of cheese in a rather large bun. Flavor was okay but the bread overwhelmed the filling. Hubby had the Cuban Torta which he said was good. I had been here before with girlfriends for happy hour and preferred that experience as we ordered 4 different appetizers to share and could talk as the music wasn't quite as loud. So I'd recommend this place for happy hour!

Johanna J.

Yelp
First time visit for me when I stopped by to join friends for dinner. We got carded at the door (9pm) by security and then greeted by the host who kindly showed us to a table. The music was insanely loud - we had to shout to hear each other. Our server was polite, drinks and food arrived promptly. My entree was delicious as were the cocktails. I decided to try the choco flan - what a disappointment! It had an awful aftertaste - too long in the refrigerator and not an actual flan but cake. Still on the fence about this place - definitely has more of a party/meetup vibe vs. traditional restaurant.

Michelle G.

Yelp
The place was lit up so cute decorated cute very festive good music playing food was good service was okay our server forgot one of our plates that came late with no apologies. I loved my flight.

Marcus K.

Yelp
I love Gabrielas. It's a vibe. I took my new puppy there and we sat on the porch. They brought her out a doggy bowl to drink from. Pet friendly is crucial especially when you love to go out and you've got a baby to raise. Drinks are on point, and the birria tacos w/ cheese are my go to. Also, obviously you've gotta eat the queso flameado. If you haven't been to Graciela's yet. Go!

Craig M.

Yelp
This place used to be good, but it's gone downhill fast. I remember eating at the downtown location before the South location opened, and I was a fan. The past few times I've eaten here, the food has been mediocre, and the menu is now mostly drinks (as in more drinks than food items. Food items are seriously lacking). It was also extremely loud. We could barely hear each other while we were eating. It felt more like 6th street than a restaurant. Today, we had the fajitas and enchiladas. Both were extremely dry and not flavorful. We got mixed fajitas (chicken and steak), and the meat was tiny and had a jerky texture. Do not recommend it. The enchiladas weren't bad but still dry. But I've had better at almost every other place I've been. I also brought my daughter (3 yrs) with me, and they didn't give us a kids menu. I asked for a kids menu, and they told me they had a kids quesadilla or kids tacos. We ended up getting the queso flamado appetizer instead. She enjoyed that as her dish since it came with tortillas, and she made tacos out of it. We also tried this, and it was good. No complaints about this and it was probably the best thing we ordered. Our server was very nice, so I have no complaints about her. But the food quality overall was not good. When the downtown location was there by itself, I liked the food. After this most recent experience (including my other recent experiences), I dont think I'll be back.

Raquel C.

Yelp
Super cute place for brunch. Definitely Latina vibes. The food was tasty and the drinks were cool too. The service was great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Even a dog poop bag station if you want to bring your furry friend, with plenty of tree coverage. I've already decided this is where I'm having a boozy brunch with my girlfriends next time.

Pete C.

Yelp
I went because my sister was bragging about the Birria tacos. I went on a Thursday afternoon and they said they did not have Birria tacos. The atmosphere was more of a club which is ok if that's what you are looking for.

Sandra G.

Yelp
Family of four First time going here today. For myself, I wasn't a fan of the food. I got the carne asada parrillada and added shrimp. Shrimp was good but that's about it for me. For drinks all of us for got agua de piña. For my husband, my son, and daughter for starters got the choriqueso and tostadas de camaron. They loved the starters. My husband main dish was the birria tacos. He did not like. For my son's main dish was tacos de birria and ramen birria. He enjoyed the ramen birria. My daughter got the same as my son, the ramen birria, she on the other hand did not enjoy it. Wait staff was meh. Not welcoming. They actually seemed annoyed. Our waiter was meh... He was sarcastic. But was somewhat attentive. Our total was $159.16 Don't think we will return. The aesthetic was nice :)

Slavizza G.

Yelp
The food is ok sometimes, drinks are good as well as ambience but service at this location is weird , they take long and it gets too crowded also on weekends

Ariel B.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of all things Gabriela here in Austin. This was no exception. We had a great time here celebrating a friend. On a weeknight, it was pretty easy to walk in and get a table. There is lots of parking. The food was great - this is one of my favorite sit down mexican restaurants in town. The DJ was on it with the music - it was hard to stay seated the whole dinner since the music was so on point! The only thing I don't recommend is the margarita pitcher - for 4 people, we each had maybe 2 glasses and the glasses were much smaller than if we got our own margaritas. There was a lot of ice in the pitcher which was refreshing but next time, I'm going to get my own drink(s). haha Overall, loved coming here!

Brooklyn G.

Yelp
Service was OKAY. Music was TOO LOUD, could not even think. They were hesitant on letting us go outside but we went ahead and went out. The server forgot to put in our appetizer Food was great once we received it and asked for the correct...again. The server was sweet just not that attentive. If you want a night out I recommend, if you want to have some dinner and talk to your party it is not the place. Will be getting take out from them though!!

Valerie S.

Yelp
A strong 3. 3.5 if it was an option. As others have mentioned it is lively and vibrant inside the restaurant. They have a section for photos that people seemed to like. There is a patio, but it was windy the day I visited and a little too chilly still. The music is fun for a little while but after an hour it is just numbing. We really were shouting at each other the whole time we were there. We had queso flameado and the corn tortillas were fantastic. The queso got cold and just tough to eat after a little while which was a bummer but it was good queso! I ordered the birria tacos. The waitress asked if I wanted cheese and I said yes. I didn't realize it would add $2 to the $16 price. The tacos, beans and rice were delicious. The price did not correspond to the dish though. I've seen smaller places doing birria just as well for a $10-12 price point. Really everything was heavy on the price at Gabriela's. I think maybe some of that is just how things are right now, but I wouldn't go back based on the cost. I had two margaritas and they were $8 but they were tiny! They were good, but tiny. So again, for the price for what I got was not something I could routinely justify. I blame myself for not ordering off the brunch menu too. Lastly, the service was very slow. It took about 45 minutes to get our check. I think the waitress was spread pretty thin. So others visiting should take note that it might not be a quick in and out meal. The waitress was really nice but it was hard to get water refills and such. The food seemed to come out fast though. Again, I think this is just how things are right now. I enjoyed it all but with the price and service, I can't see that I'd be rushing to go back, but I'd like to try their regular menu at some point down the road.

Yelp
Listen, I love a good brunch but this place, never again. Service was not good. Went without drinks and had to flag down the server multiple times. One of our group never got her drink despite asking more than once. Then ended up only being able to do mimosas because the drinks weren't good. Then the server continued the lazy attitude with the bill saying we couldn't split it, but finally decided he'd do it but said we needed to number everything to help him split it, finally on the 3rd try he put the right things on the right tickets. Forced to pay already included gratuity for a shitty experience. Giving a star since the food was good at least. But overall, this was a waste of money

Yelp
This place has been on my list of places to try for a while. Let's get to it... Atmosphere: lively and fun. We went on a Sunday and there was loud music playing over the speakers to create a party-like vibe. The decor is mostly pink with teal and there is a central bar and a lot of seating. Drinks: Pina mimosas are $4. They were strong enough, but small in size and I didn't enjoy them as much as I expected. They had other drink specials so if I went back, I'd probably try something different. Food: We ordered the migas and birria queso tacos. They were both good. I wouldn't order the tacos again solely because the taste didn't match the price. The side of beans were really flavorful and I had leftovers, which was a plus.

Yelp
The vibes and music here are really fun and "Instagrammable" for sure. A lot of parking which is a plus. They also have really fun drinks as well. I got the caprichosa aka margarita flight which I really enjoyed. However, I didn't think the food or service was too great. I tried the popular choriqueso and birria tacos (no cheese). Would still come back for a birthday party for the sake of the environment but not the food itself.

Yelp
Strong drinks! Crispy chips! Tasty Tinga! Service was prompt and welcoming. Fresh seafood! But some of the main courses could use spicing up.

Yelp
I love Gabrielas and if you can't make it to the original location downtown, this is a great spot with plenty of parking and seating.

Yelp
I really enjoy eating here. Cool vibes. Good food. Great drinks. We were there for happy hour 3-6p/m-f. guacamole. $6 hh price but they couldn't make it without onions. Odd bc last time we came they did. Street corn. Ordered but it never came. Al pastor $14. Dry. Needs a sauce. Desperately. Sopecitos $6....ahah ah not so fast. $10 bc we Ordered beans only no chicken. So we were charged non hh price. Torta bistek $14ish. It was .. amazing! Chips were good but no salsa. Whaaa? Fruit micheladas..amazing but last time we had it, I remembered it so much better. Much more Fruit and peanuts. So good. I came from Georgetown for this drink especially so it was good but I remember it being better. Bummed no birria today but learned it is on weekends only and randomly on Tuesdays.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic! It's so bright and colorful, and reminds me of Miami. When the restaurant is full, it is very loud inside. The service has always been great. The food is delicious. You can't go wrong with the Avocado Enchiladas or the Chicken Sopes. Yum!

Yelp
I think this place is good but you will only see me here during happy hour because the prices are ridiculous for the appetizers and mostly everything outside of happy hour. The shrimp tacos were excellent though! Just definitely don't recommend outside of happy hour because of how expensive it is

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There is definelty a lot of engery in the place as it has a very eccentric vibe. There is a selfie area, indoor and outdoor seating, and a large bar. The appetizers we got were amazing. Highly recommend the guacamole and queso flameado. I would suggest you pass on the cóctel de camarones and the huaraches. The cotel was mostly just juice with maybe 8 shrimp. The huaraches were very chewy but the meat on top was really good and well seasoned.
