We like this place. We live in Michigan and each time we visit the Los Angeles area we make a point to stop by the Galleria Market to grab Korean groceries and bakeries. We also always stop by the second floor food court to grab lunch or dinner and we are always happy we did. Place is clean and food is very delicious. Portions are very generous and price is very reasonable. Parking is easy and and I feel very safe. Can't wait for the next trip into town!

This market is another Korean Supermarket that has a mix of Korean and Western grocieries．Like many other major Asian supermarket chains, this one also has Live seafood and meat. The prices here are pretty good as well compared to some of their competitors．They have an nice variety of ready made Korean foods as well.

There is no time to eat after 7:50 pm. A male worker started to put the chair upside-down on my table. I asked him to stop doing it. But he was not stopping. They are taking order until 8 pm. But cut off the table to stop eating at 7:50 pm. I complained but they aren't listening to me. Finally, I had my food at 7:45pm. So, I complained it to the owner of the restaurant. He said to me, "Keep eating." A lady worker talked to me and moved my food to the other side of the table. Make sure before you start eating not to get this kind of funny situation.

A hidden gem with great sales, hidden stores and affordable food. The food court has a secret outdoor terrace that makes you forget you are in the middle of the busiest part of LA. The market has unique items you can't get anywhere else and fantastic Korean side dishes. There is also a fantastic bakery and "Witches Chicken " (which I haven't tried yet but has good reviews) Don't ignore the parking garages in Koreatown. There are some real finds there if you look. Near the first floor market is a fantastic sock merchant with great deals and really cute styles. There is also a flower shop and other vendors. Go down one floor into the basement, and you will find the Wholesale Market to your left. They have great deals on bulk items and a fantastic secret store called Kitchenplus. They cater to restaurants, but those in the know go their for fantastic deals on anything you would want for your kitchen: from knives to bowls to pans to coffee makers. Unfortunately they did not have a butter dish when I looked, but the store does not cater mainly to western restaurants. I found everything else on my shopping list however.

My go to grocery store. Veggies are fresh. Kimchi off the shelf tastes like home made. I get my meat here and often times have a manager’s special. Well stocked of Korean goods. Plenty of vendors like Cake House and merchandise stores. There’s a cool food court too, authentic K stuff.

I really like their hot food bar, but I wish their house made kimchi was better so I don’t have to go somewhere else for kimchi. It lacks a umami flavor. Maybe fish sauce, and it’s not salty enough

I've been a loyal customer for 20 years now and let me tell you the level service definitely is comparable with the location inside Koreatown Plaza. This location is always clean, immaculate, perfectly displayed, and the lighting is wonderful. The workers are very helpful but do not burden you to purchase anything. They have all the latest makeup trends and quite often have promotions. I really appreciate how they take their time to analyze your skin and offer recommendations. They have different tiers which makes a huge difference in getting rewards (similar to Sephora). Here are my must haves: IOPE retinol expert Sulwhasoo time treasure Sulwhasoo concentrated ginseng serum Sulwhasoo ultimate S serum Sullahasoo cleansing oil Bio conditioning essence Those are my personal must haves. Expensive but worth every penny. It's made a huge difference on my skin and now it's glowing. Tip: Sign up so they can send you texts whenever they have a promo or event. Tip: Their men's skincare line is also perfect for gifting! My husband loves his toner and emulsion.

FREE PARKING LOT. ( I point out since that's important for most people, and it should be super clear) Nice variety in the grocery store, grabbed a few items. We primarily came for lunch. There were about 7 different places at the mall for food. Majority was Ramen / soup dishes, which is fine. Unforetunately no POKE . I got a dish of noodles and pork, was good. They had a rice punch , and didn't care for it. My wife got a different dish, she really like hers.

BEST FOOD COURT I like coming to this market because of the food court on the 5th floor. They have the best Korean food! My fav is the soojebi (hand dough soup) and grilled fish. The market itself is pretty small but clean. Banchan selection is large. Their marinated meats are really good too. Not too sweet (like Hmart sucks) and tastes like mama made it. Produce area is organized. Only flaw is their freezer section is pretty weak. Good parking garage in the shade free.

On a Sunday morning in July, my family and I visited this Korean market since my go to market was closed down. There was plenty of parking in the mall at 9am. The market has sterilize carts and the aisles were clean. Lots of workers stocking supplies on the shelves. It was fun looking at different items. I enjoyed looking at the takeout food with japchae and takeout boxes. They also sell big ramen boxes for camping and frozen kimbap. The line to pay was short.

I love this market. I liked the Northridge location but I enjoyed this location as well. It had plenty to offer and the food court area had great options for hot food. The groceries were decently priced. I loved the free parking! During our visit the store was neat and clean. The noise level was not too loud and not too crowded for it being a Sunday. Plenty of selections of different food items. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

Purely for the food court! The food options here were amazing. Can't really check-in to certain ones since they aren't listed but I got the tteokbokki from soon hee ne (apparently it was featured on Netflix), it was good, came with fish cakes. I wish I had been able to just get a cup and not the entire thing because I couldn't finish it. My partner got a cold spicy noodle from another spot and that was SO GOOD. It wasn't spicy as in mouth on fire hot just a nice heat. It was flavorful with a touch of sweetness. It came with a half hard boiled egg, meat, soup and pickled radish. Okay, also, they have mega cute stationary shops here.

Good and clean market. From the main entrance you can walk down the stairs. I heard from someone you can buy wholesale here and it's open to the public. Check for specific time and days if you want to buy bulk. I noticed maybe two things in the produce section that was marked organic like the romaine lettuce. The organic dried jujubes here look bright. They sell wood ear mushrooms in a box. Unfortunately I did not see any expiration date on it. The saran wrap I bought had a little bit of dust inside so I think some of the things on the shelf may be old. There are some items that have the p65 warning like the dried anchovies and household items.

One of the busiest Korean markets in town! The variety is quite amazing and prices seem very reasonable. Our favorite items include the marinated meat boxes (beef, pork, chicken etc. ). You can cook up a Korean BBQ feast at home for a fraction of what you may spend in a restaurant! Large produce department with many selections. Our favorite is the Shiso leaves -- $1.29 a bunch (or $2.49 for cut leaves in a plastic bag) at this writing. You'd pay many times more in the Japanese markets in little Tokyo.

I am not quite impressed by the quality of their produce (fruits especially) or their meats. Their isles are not always well restocked. Staff here seem overworked. Maybe it's the lighting too, but seems so depressing and gloomy here. I would rather goto the California market (Gaju) where I feel like they have better, more fresh produce and definitely better cuts of meat (galbi and pork).

Came here to do some "light" grocery shopping to check and see if they had stuff that isn't sold anywhere else. The market is clean and big! Really loved the selection of items. They had a huge banchan (side dishes) selection and seafood selection.

I received this recommendation from a friend who lives in LA as a great Korean place to shop and explore. It was put on my list of LA spots to visit while my parents were in town this past weekend and we stopped in on Saturday. There's a large parking structure that services all of the businesses in the Market. Drive carefully as a lot of people seem to enjoy driving faster than the suggested limit in an effort to find a spot or to leave the structure. I didn't visit the shops or food court on the third and second floors as I was mainly there for the grocery store on the first floor. The grocery area was impressive with several aisles and a variety of products available. I was trying to find a Korean spice mix for our Korean bulgogi recipe, but couldn't find the exact brand and mix. (I'm guessing the brand went out of business.) But my dad found Cass beer, which was great after he tried some at a Korean AYCE place a few nights ago. We had a good laugh seeing the different formats it came in, from a 6 pack to a large bottle for pouring and sharing. I picked up some sandwich cookies and shared them with my parents. Maybe some day I'll be back to check out the other businesses in the Market.

Galleria Market is awesome. I stopped here a few times when i used to work in Downtown Los Angeles. I stopped here not long ago and purchased some foods and sushi to take home and eat. Its a huge grocery Asian store where you can buy meats, fruits, Produce, and breads and every other unique and exotic goods. I was happy and impressed with all the food and cooking goods . Nice workers and owners here. Always a pleasure to visit here.

I would love to give a high rating cause there's so much stuff here!! The hot bar has a lot of choices and there's a lot of meat for sale! There's multilevel parking so you can definitely find parking if you keep going up. Why can't I give a high rating? Because if you want to catch covid-19, come on over! There's no social distancing and there was sooo many people in there. I went to get in line for the register and this older lady cut me even though there isn't a sticker for her to stand on!! She's old so I gave her a break but omg she was wicked close to the person in front of her. There is a lot of old folks here shopping and have no clue what social distance is. It's worse than any grocery store I've been too. I'm pretty sure they charge for bags cause the cashier asked me if I wanted one and if it's free.. they would just automatically bag your stuff, no? If I come again, I'd try on a week day and not a weekend again and hope it's less crowded. They finally had a security guard try to control how many people went in while I was leaving but there was like 50 people in line..

Easy parking, love their veggie section, they have everything you need for your Korean recipes, clean & tidy...even has a small food court. Checkers are really good at their job...fast & efficient. If you like Asian food and cooking, this is a must stop. They have everything, in fact, it's sometime almost overwhelming. If you like Korean BBQ they have everything from heat source to the meats. For the meats you can get them already marinated or just thinly cut so you can marinate them any way you want.

The good: There's free parking. They have a cake/bakery shop inside with cute cakes. They have a whole wall dedicated to kim chi. The market has everything you'd need for your Korean cooking needs. There's a Galleria Korean market in NorCal as well but I don't know if they belong to the same chain. This market is attached to a huge indoor Korean mall. They have a huge variety of prepared side dish options. I thought everything was well organized though the layout of entering and exiting the store was a little confusing to me. I always get overwhelmed by all of the fun Korean food products offered here. The bad: The parking is above the market so it feels a little inconvenient to bring groceries up and down the stairs or elevator. The interesting: Outside the market, there are a couple of little shops. One of the shops sells super cute and affordable socks and clothes. The other one sells a bunch of face masks in a huge variety of styles.

A one stop shop for your Asian grocery and they have a parking lot making it easier to do some quick shopping. Several spot throughout the store have taste stations. It was a pleasant visit and take a tour of the tiny little shops in the area. As you see from the pictures, there is a tons of drinks to choose from. First time coming here and was excited to see what new treats we could find. We came on a Friday after having lunch and there were so many samples of different food and drink items available along the back of the market. The samples ranged from snacks, to drink jellies and even gyoza :) The workers were very friendly when providing us samples and we ended up getting some chocolate and green tea soy milk (might have been a different kind of milk), sweet taro chips and watermelon and peach fruit jelly drinks. I had also found some banana milk I have been craving, but a different brand that I am use to as well as a bag of apple flavored chips that I have been searching for after my friend introduced them to me. They also had some mini stores inside and outside of the Galleria as well as a bakery. There were all kinds of snacks, pre-packed food and other options available in the market as well.

Galleria market is one of many options for Korean grocery stores. It is a bit pricier than other Korean grocery options but it is cleaner and the produce is much higher quality. There is a parking lot with free parking available. It does get pretty crowded on weekends but there are many floors of parking so don't fret!

So happy to finally go into one of these places with a Korean person. It's important to have a plug. It's much better to go with someone who understands what everything is instead of just going inside blindly. All the delicious treats that we got. Ever cents coronavirus the new must have items for your house is a portable Korean barbecue Grill. Well of course my friend got one right away. Just to not be able to find the gas anywhere. Word to the wise you can't buy any kind of gas online. I kid you not she was right about to toss the thing yesterday. Luckily we stumbled upon the gallery and took a little gander inside and low and behold all the gas that your little heart needs. Super excited for Korean barbecue at home ....yes! Another cool find was the black style KF94 Covid mask. Which is black and sleek and I feel makes my face look slimmer. Probably not but a girl can dream can't she. Another extra little part we found was this cute little sticker that you put inside your mask kinda like scratch and sniff stickers. Unfortunately we only found the mint sticker which was really strong so I put it outside of my mask by the chin area but they do have like watermelon flavor she just happen to be out of that kind. So we are still on the hunt.

This market has all your Korean grocery needs. I'm not Korean and don't have many Korean grocery needs. I was especially impressed by the produce department. The produce looks like it was out of a magazine. Everything was pristine and perfectly shaped. No blemishes. Some of the largest apples and peaches I've ever seen. Perfectly shaped bunches of grapes. They meat selection was different from your average Americans grocery store. Very clean nicely cut pieces of meat. And of course the biggest selection of Kim Chi I've ever seen.

The market is very dirty and cashiers are very rude. Today I bought some fruits from there and told the Cashier that do not put the apricots on the bottom of plastic beg. She said "you put them in then!" Of course it's really bad attitude. When I was putting the fruits into separate begs,suddenly she grabbed the begs put things into them ,I saw the apricots on the bottom of the beg, I immediately told her don't do that and she started yelling at me and said "I just want you dead!" When the store manager here, he didn't say a thing to this stupid cashier, a woman in her 40 something. So be warned about this market, smells bad and fish and some sea foods look really bad and they still sell them! The cashiers not well trained and they are rude and don't care about customers at all!

The selection of food is exceptional at this Korean Market. They have marinated meats (kalbi) and they have a huge selection of side items of food, which is called "banchan." I have to admit, Tokyo Central has better quality meats and fish, but Korean Markets are noticeably cheaper. This is a very good market. I must note, I just cooked the Kalbi from this store, and it is slightly on the sweeter side.

Crazy busy grocery store full of Koreans, ahaha...during a weekday around 2, my shopping cart got stolen, twice, in the span of 15 mins, despite having several grocery items. First time, the person had an epiphany and realized it wasn't their cart, so they kindly returned it to where they found it. Second time, it was a lost cause. Produce and items are well stocked, and it's a good market. But morale of the story - don't leave your cart unattended.

You want good honest authentic Korean food, and groceries, well its here. The food court is filled with so much Korea cuisine it'll fill like you been transported to South Korea. My favorite korean/asian market! Everything is well priced. Meat and seafood is always fresh and good. Big selection of asian products (spices, sauces, snacks, etc). I've been going here for 5+ years. I'm Filipino, but I defaulted coming here because it's cleaner and they have more meat and seafood choices. The only reason I would ever go to the Filipino market instead of here is because they don't have any Filipino products :( I wish they had some Filipino product, at least some snacks :)

One of my many go-to Asian grocers in the city. It's an especially good time when they are cooking samples for you to try. I've learned how to make many marinades and sauces when they are serving samples and the customer service is slightly better on those days. Beautiful and absolutely delicious produce. Some of the best fruit in the city. The biggest hang up for me is their seafood section. The smell is very off putting. I don't think there is much that could be done but it's worth looking into.

The shining star if you ask me is the shop below called Kitchen Plus which I believe is affiliated with Galleria. Receipts. I cannot emphasize the importance of receipts with Galleria market. Recently I purchased a lot of items from this Los Angeles ktown Galleria location. I accidentally purchased the wrong product and tried to exchange the product at the Northridge Galleria Market. Yes, an entirely different location but the same market. Normally I have all my receipts however I don't know what happened to my receipt. Long story short keep all of your receipts in case you need to return or exchange an item. The item I wanted to exchange was not available at the Northridge location and the manager called the Los Angeles location three times and gave them the item number and description which wasn't in their system. At the end they did give me an exchange for the product but they had to guess the amount. If I had the original receipt they would've exchanged it perfectly smooth without a problem. It took about ten minutes to resolve. Other than that this Market is the one stop shop for all your items. I'd call in advance and check if there is a specific product in stock.

One of the biggest and cleanest Korean Supermarkets in K-Town. Usually bigger variety of produce and goodies. If you don't like crowds, stay away on Weekends. Pretty packed crowd. I'm always leaving with a full grocery cart of items. I try to stick to my list but there's always great produce and prices I can't turn down. I love checking out their side dish section toward the far back. They have kimchi, seaweed, squid, crabs, dried fish and so much more. These last for quite a while so a love picking up a few for my weekday lunches. They also have delicious ice creams. I love this Japanese brand they carry. They sell the ice cream in a cone and package it that way. So cool.

This is a pretty nice Korean market with a sizable mult-level parking lot (always a big plus in Koreatown). The place is clean, brightly lit, and well-stocked with fresh produce and meat. There are two check-out areas, which makes it feel a little roomier. One of my favorite features is the "deli" area with the most panchan variety I've ever seen at a store. You can buy as much of any of side dish as you want to take home. It allows you to try stuff without the anxiety of buying a 1 lb. tub of it. I'd say prices are decent; there are cheaper stores in the area.

I came to the store today to pick up a few items and came across what appears to be MOLD in the blackberries. Not quite the freshest fruits they sell here so be careful what you buy.

It's happy to find some Asian food here. We bought crab, Toufu, slim mushroom, all typical Asian food. Park is free, underground.
