Gallo Rojo

The food was delicious, we started with arepio, appetitzer. pad thai, chicken and noodles. Flan, my son and I both had smoothies. Mine was ginger lemonade and his was pineapple ginger both were excellent. We finished with coffee.

Haven't been here in years and decided to give it a go again. Very cute place still, a small covered deck outside and a second floor, plenty of space. Tried a special appetizer for July, and it was very good. The agripicante sauce with the app acored 10's across the board! This sauce was out of this world perfectly balanced and tasty...and spicy! Couldn't come here and not get the Korean gochujang ribs, so soft and juicy and delicious still, like I remembered. Cocktails were tasty. My server was wonderful, and all staff had a great vibe. Friendly and welcoming place, great service, bangin' food and flavors, delish cocktails. Prices are moderate. Def recommend Gallo Rojo for the win.

Heard the foods used to be really good before the COVID. We ordered 3 dishes tonight, and none of them were fascinating, rather quite bland and not much layers to the taste. The servers are super friendly and efficient though! One of the fastest restaurant in San Jose for serving dishes! What a pleasant surprise!

Good casual eatery for a variety of Asian dishes. Food was tasty but a couple of things stood out- goguchan ribs had no goguchan and a little dry. Gyoza sauce had very little soy. Free popcorn is a nice touch.

All I can say is "Wow! What a wonderful suprise this cozy restaurant in Escazu was." I have been searching for a good Asian inspired restaurant in Costa Rica and I finally struck gold. I had been craving Pad Thai for months and immediately decided I was getting this dish knowing I am passing up several other popular options. The dish was phenomenal and and so deliciously satisfying! Rarely I eat dessert but I saw another appealing gem that was a chocolate flourless tort that had a sprinkled powdered sugar on top with a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream. I can't wait to return and I try the other options that are avaliable.

Went and had dinner with the family and everything was wonderful. The food and the service were great, even our daughter enjoyed it and she is very 'selective' to put it nicely. I found the menu very interesting with the mixture of foods from various locations around the globe. All-in-all is was pleasant dining experience.

Very nice place to have delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the steamed bun with chicken and also the ribs were very delicious. Definitely check it when you are in the area!
