The food was good, price was reasonable and service was spot on. Came here with me toddler and baby and our waitress was very accommodating and very quick to fill our orders. We ordered a ton of Galbi and the flavor was nice and marinated. The flaming hot corn cheese was a surprise treat!

We went during lunch time. Less people. Quality of the beef is so low. The pork is better. Tofu soup is water down. The sides are terrible. No salads. Service is really slow! They even charge as 18%tip for that service. We basically have to stand up and wave at the server.

Went around 8pm on a Saturday night($28 per adult). It wasn’t too busy and they seemed fully staffed. We got seated in the middle, but it felt like our table didn’t get as much attention as others. For a party of two, the portions were way too much - each plate had enough meat for at least four people. I’d recommend going with three or more if you want to try different meats without wasting food. Usually, we can handle 6–8 meats at other KBBQ spots, but here we could barely finish four plates. The portions just weren’t portioned for a casual date night for two. Toward the end, they rushed to drop off the check and grabbed the tip pretty quick. After that, service basically disappeared, no water refills and no complimentary ice cream like other reviews mentioned (maybe you have to ask?). Overall, I’d give it three stars. The food was solid for the price and the staff were friendly when they did check in, but the overall experience felt uneven. Would I go back? Probably not, it was okay, just not memorable enough to revisit.

Meat selection and food is awesome. Staffed properly and easy to call for service help. The booths are just small for big groups or for bigger adults. The tables were ample size.

First time here, wasn't packed during the time I went which was around 3pm on a Saturday. Ambiance was nice I liked the music/vibe. Service was quick and very attentive. Meat quality was amazing. Would definitely come back here. Don't forget your free icecream at the end for the cherry on top!

Gangnam Korean BBQ is such a fun spot for a delicious and affordable all-you-can-eat meal! The vibe is lively, perfect for a family dinner or a casual night out with friends. The variety of meats really impressed me — galbi, prime flower, American wagyu beef belly, prime finger short rib, and enoki rolls — everything was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The service was excellent too; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure our grill was always ready for the next round. Great food, great value, and great service — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Came here for the first time & everything was amazing! Service was great. All the waiters were super sweet and attentive. The food was amazing! I like how the serving sizes for the meats were not too big as well! I love the playlist of music that was playing, the only complaint was that the music was a little loud. But overall I give it 10/10 !

Everything was okay until we had a server change. We waited 10-15 minutes to get our grill turn on because it died and order more food. We are spending $250+ so it's kind of disappointing that our expectations wasn't met. MUSIC IS HELLA LOUD and hard to hear. Food is good tho.

10/10 cleanest AYCE KBBQ spot I've been to! Food was excellent! You can really tell & taste all the ingredients were fresh. We came in on a Saturday with a big party of 16, our waiter, Ernesto provided great customer service & was very patient with us considering we had a lot of kids + 1st timers. Quality of the meat was on point & very generous portions. Highly recommend!

This place was my go to spot and loved taking people here letting them know I knew a solid kbbq spot that was worth the price. I'm sad to say that I have been embarrassed the last two times that I've suggested this place for my family and friends. The quality of the meat has definitely dropped while the prices have increased steadily for the past couple years. The only redeeming quality for Gangnam is their sides/banchan. I'm still a fan of their kimchi, Mac salad, potato salad, pickled radish etc. The meat has come out warm and soggy the last two times that I've dined here and I'm not sure if they're cutting the meat as we order like they used to do. I thought I would try one more time after being disappointed last year when I came, I'm sad to say I will not be coming back anytime soon because there are so many other options for better kbbq the same price now.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon a little after 12pm. There was no one on the list while my dad and I were waiting to be seated with plenty of empty tables. After about 5 minutes I decided to put my name down (keep in mind no one else is waiting for a table) Maybe they knew I haven't put my name down. Put my name down and still after another 5 minutes someone came up to the front and seated us in one of the empty tables, a table that hadn't been used mind you. After about 10 minutes of sitting down someone finally took our order and our meat came out fairly quickly. The problem is waiting about 20 minutes between the next order of meats. After about a total of an hour waiting, time from waiting to be seated (which btw was more or less empty when we got there) between waiting between meats we waited almost an hour to be served all together. The kicker was at the end we were full, more to the fact the meat just sat while we're waiting for our next round of meats compared to eating lots of food, I asked for the check. Probably took almost 30 minutes. No one came by to check if we needed anything, just waited and waited until someone came by and I asked for the check, and he just kind of turned around, I kinda *sigh* and say "fucking a" and he must've heard me cause he said he'll get the check. Tbh this was probably the only time they were quick and tentative. I paid, he came back, again pretty quickly with ice cream. I paid and left I've been here before, around the same time, even during busier hours and never had this bad of service before. The food is fine, but having that bad of service really turned me off from coming here again.

Con: small plaza with limited parking. It can get super busy. 3 meats at a time. Pro: marinated meat is definitely good. Definitely try their taco kit. Our usual go-to kbbq place in the area, especially in the mid-range price. Server can be super busy. We waited to get our orders in and for the check. However, the meat is what's all about. Their marinated meat is definitely delicious. Better than what's around the area. They have couple new meats. Place can get packed and right. Loud music but ambiance is great. Will definitely come back here.

We have frequented Gangnam many times and it has been our favorite local kbbq spot. I'm sad I didn't review it earlier since the quality has gone down. The last time we came, they were out of beef belly and the green salsa. I will preface by saying that we usually order the green salsa and love the ice cream. Today, they were out of green salsa, bean sprouts, corn tortilla, and ice cream. It definitely changed the experience and there was no sign saying that they were out of these items. We were also forgotten about and items were forgotten that we had ordered. Given the multiple times that they have been out of items, I don't think we'll be returning. I would recommend going elsewhere unless you don't mind low quality food and service.

It says online that they close at 10 PM but we came at 9 PM, only for them to tell us that their "kitchen" closes at 9:10. We usually come here for our kbbq so it's a little disappointing as it was my friends celebration dinner.

It's been over 7 years since we've been here and this place has definitely lost its touch. The quality of the meat was definitely subpar making the food experience terrible. We ordered Menu B so we expected better quality meats and we left completely disappointed. Service was decent but it wasn't packed at all since it was mid lunch time. The ambience definitely doesn't help, they play uncensored music at the loudest setting making this place one you can definitely pass on when it comes to picking your next KBBQ spot.

Mannn this is the spot! My first time here and I loved it. The meats were all of quality ! The service was amazing every server in there constantly made sure you were good and it was a packed house . I didn't feel neglected one bit . Inside it's very clean nice blue lighting and they play straight hip hop bangers giving it a hip vibe . They offered different things on the menu that had me surprised like a cheese corn with hot Cheetos they Also seem to take the time to know their audience they had it set up perfect for us Latinos lol offering tortillas and onion and cilantro with jalepeno and salsa. Never have I ever been to a Korean bbq offering this but I'm Glad they did . All around love this place

Alright yall I've been gate keeping on this because I don't want the wait to get too long hahaha This is my fave kbbq! They have such a great selection of meats and everything ! They recently updated their menu cos they even have a corn cheese with flamin hot Cheeto dust SSOOOOOOO DELICIOUS ! They even offer a taco kit ! Which I love . Also all their sides and salad are super delicious ! Service is always NICE ! And FAst ! I really appreciate that they are super nice . They also play really good music which I appreciate and the ambiance is casual. And pretty loud because people are enjoying their food and having a good time . If you're looking for a KBBQ that has great variety to their menu from corn cheese , baked mussels , shrimps , so many meats , tofu soup, steamed egg you have found it !

Second Visit - 5/5 Kid prices are 15.00 4- 8 years old Service was very outstanding, as staff constantly checked in on us. Had our grill changed 5 times, which tells you they're definitely paying attention to their patrons. Never felt rushed - Ordered 5 rounds Meat orders were filled adequately and promptly. The short rib finger meat is still go to move! Garlic pork belly was very tasty! Galbi servings are 2 piece per order. Tofu soup - Is pretty salty Brisket and beef belly tasted better during this visit.

Came here because I happened to see it driving somewhere else and was curious about a new kbbq spot. I was not disappointed! The meat was tasty and the sides were great as well. When we ran out of sides they replaced them with a decent portion so we wouldn't have to ask again. Service was great as well.

Great vibe, feels newly renovated inside. Prices are just right and I couldn't find a thing on the menu I didn't like. Great deal on soju. I heard you could get a soft serve at the end of a meal here but I stopped for the grilled cinnamon pineapple instead.

This is a great choice for KBBQ AYCE. We can here and indulged on the delicious Korean food. Prices are reasonable. The hot cheetos cheese corn. Fire. And the meats were good too. Did not like the finger meat here but otherwise all good. Servers are great on point and in good spirit.

WHO THE HECK CELEBRATES COLUMBUS DAY AS A HOLIDAY AND DECIDES TO UP-CHARGE FOR TODAY?!?! Let's celebrate a day about a person who came and conquered the USA and gave zero cares for the indigenous people who are originally from here. Ohmygosh I'm am not happy about this. And then they have the audacity to say they pick and choose which holidays to charge for regardless if it's not a federal holiday. And try to reiterate that regardless on it, it's their choice to charge holiday prices. If it was a real federal holiday I would understand but that's insane that this is what they consider a holiday and not notifying their customers that they are charging weekend/holiday prices to celebrate mass murders, genocide, and slavery of the indigenous people; but I digress. What would've been lunch prices of $27.99pp, we paid $30.99pp instead even though we did not know or else we would've ordered the specialty meats from their dinner options only. They also had no beef belly options available, which took out a good chuck of what we wanted to order here. The quality of the steak cuts could've been better as they seemed old and dried out like the prime flower steak and the top sirloin steak. After our first order, no one came to check on us for over 30 minutes and we had to flag staff down to order more meat. We also ordered soup that we never received. It's sad that this was such an unhappy experience because this used to be one of my favorite kbbq places to go to. I used to live in Long Beach and come all the time. And because I was free for lunch time, I drove from Torrance just to come and they didn't even serve lunch prices. Whoever the staff was that wanted to come and argue with me even though I was just complaining to my boyfriend needs to learn to mind his own business. I had already paid the bill and was complaining and the staff member had the audacity to come around 3x to get reiterate that it's a holiday regardless of our feelings and those are the prices. LIKE SIR, I ALREADY PAID!!! LEAVE ME ALONE. And he is like well some people have today off and it doesn't matter. Like okay? Did I ask your opinion? I didn't ask for a discount. I didn't refuse to pay the bill. I had already paid and was finishing my dessert when he kept inserting himself. This was the biggest turn off for us and we regrettably won't be returning or supporting this business anymore.

Back in the days, this would be your typical $10 kbbq place. It is pricier for the quality that you get. Service was great and the food came out fast. Lots of things I wanted were out.

First and foremost I loved this place! Super spacious, very clean and the music is definitely a vibe! This is a place that gives fun date night vibes. And the meat cuts are of great quality and value! The servers were supper friendly and attentive, they came by every 5 minutes to ensure we didn't need any more meats or sides. Didn't get very many pictures because I was too busy eating, but if you're in the mood for KBBQ and in the area definitely give them a try! 10/10 i definitely recommend!! (Btw you get free ice cream at the end of your meal shhhh.)

Service was absolutely amazing. The staff is very attentive and constantly checking on you. This has to be my best Kbbq experience yet. The wait time wasn't too long, but worth it regardless. The place is cool and the music they play is great. The food is sooo good. I recommend the galbi short ribs, beef bulgogi and the finger ribs were good too! My favorite part was the complimentary ice cream!!! Don't forget to ask for raddish paper, trust me- it's a game changer.

Awesome spot!! The customer service was great- they come by to check in with you and they're ready to change the grill often. Lots of meats to pick from with a wide variety of drinks as well. Their music is great and brings back the good old 90s. Tables are big and seating is roomy.

I've been to dozens of KBBQ in my lifetime including over in Incheon (South Korea). This was by far one of the BEST experiences I've had. Good quality meat, good quality side dishes, great & attentive service. They give you ice cream at the end & don't add their own tip. They play 2000's R&B but its not blaring at the point where you're stressed out. Will for sure return here when in Lakewood.

Sucks to see this place has gone downhill. But it's safe to say we won't be coming back. It's sad bc we would come here about 4-5 times a year. What used to be our local favorite kbbq, has become so bad in every way.. the meat here has never been THAT great, but they have a salsa verde that makes up for everything. However, they have not had the salsa the last 3 times we've come. They didn't have beef belly at all the previous visit. It supposedly "Wagyu" and used to be decent, and was their best meat. Now, the marbling is horrible and it's sliced too thick so it comes out rubbery when cooked. Definitely not wagyu. Service used to be quick, with a guy checking in on us every few minutes. Now you gotta be lucky enough to flag one down. Another selling point for this place was their bean sprouts banchan and soft serve ice cream at the end. But nope, didn't have either of those. We tried talking to the manager to see what was going on, since they've been out of stuff the last few times we've been, and he said it was due to being busy, and they don't like making more because they don't want leftovers at the end of the night.. he also stated that we can't expect something to be available just because it is on the menu.... ???? Pretty ridiculous. He was nice and cordial with us, and took 2 beers off our tab as compensation, so that was appreciated. We came this time hoping we just got very bad luck the previous 2 times, but a 3rd time just means poor planning, insufficient ownership/management, and a serious lack of consistency. So yea, won't be going back. There are much better places for around the same price, or even slightly cheaper. Gave an extra star because it used to be good way back when.

This was our favorite spot for the last few years and we've been disappointed with the last few visits we've had. While I can understand being out of stock of items due to heavy volume -- I can't excuse bad service especially if you plan on charging gratuity. On top of multiple of our favorite sides (green salsa, tortillas, bean sprouts, etc) being out of stock on different visits, the service just wasn't great. Our water jugs were left empty, part of our orders wasn't given to us even when we asked multiple times, lack of clearing our empty meat plates to make space. They once even dripped hot oil on my husband when clearing our grill. I don't know what happened but this place used to be solid. Our last few visits have been incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately we won't be coming back because the parts of this place that set them aside from other places cannot be promised and management didn't seem to take the feedback well. When you take all those things out, they're just a regular kbbq spot and you can just go to the next kbbq spot for a better experience.

This place is so good service was very pleasant food was fresh, side delicious everything was A1 besides the loudness of the music I couldn't hear what my bf was telling me he had to scream and I had to scream back to have a conversation but over all everything was good...

Goat kbbq spot I've eaten at spots all in LA and surrounding areas this is by far the best for the price quality of meat and quality of service alcohol selection is great too

The servers here are great! Very attentive considering that kbbq is busy. This place has a lot of variety meats for a good price. The parking lot is pretty decent and typically has space to park. They also give you ice cream at the end of your meal. They are very clean and switch the grill pretty often. This location is good for dinner parties and has a great vibe.

The Korean lady was actually friendly, she greeted us and smiled while escorting us to our table. When we got to out table, our condiments were already set up for us. Within minutes of sitting down a waiter asked us what we wanted to drink and stated if we were ready to order. So we made an order for brisket and prime bugogi with beverages. All served within minutes! The portion was large. Also the only KBBQ place that has mexican tortillas! LOL , upon request Ate to our satisfaction! Even received free vanilla icecream for dessert. We came at a good time, it was before 5pm which was not crowded at the time of arrival. This place does gets packed and parking maybe difficult to find on certain hours. I definitely recommend this place! Workers were nice and very attentive to our needs. Professional staff. The food is fresh and delicous. Dinner was affordable compared to other KKBQ restaurant establishments. If you want to try something aside from GEN BBQ.. this place is as good or even better. Friendly, Professional, affordable and not tight with their servings. Two THUMBS

I've been to Gangnam a few times a few years back, but stopped coming here. It used to be too smoky and the food quality and selection was just OK. Since there were many other options, I stopped coming here. Fast forward to last week, I saw them pop up in one of my social media feeds, and they featured the Mexican plate. Since the pictures did look pretty good, I decided to come back with the family. So I'm glad to see they've made a few changes. The ventilation has improved a lot, the meat selection, quality of meat, and the addition of the Mexican plate with the things that caught my eye. Along with the good service that we received, and the very competitive pricing, I've added Gangnam back to my list of places to eat. Although if there was an option to give 4.5 stars, this is what I'd rate Gangnam at. But since there isn't, I rounded up. Things that I would love to see that would make it five stars in my opinion would be radish paper, better quality of ice cream, and if the server didn't put my bill on the table until I asked for it. Otherwise, it was a good meal for the price.

good food, good service. There are plenty of tables so that even if it's busy you still get seated! We had waited for a third person and they were still helping us out with our order. The setting is nice, well lit and depending on how busy can be noisy. All in all a good time and more than enough food to stuff you.

The service was great, the food was not unfortunately. The pork bulgogi was presented in a way I had not had it before and I've been to KBBQ elsewhere many times so I know what to expect. AYCE options have two price options. Four adults plus a toddler - technically adds up to five but I don't think an 18% surcharge is justified. Background music was very loud to the point of zero conversation. Even the waiter had to lean in to hear our orders. Very busy Sunday night and we ended up sharing half of our table - two separate grills. Service was attentive. Meat portions were decent. Cheesy corn and tofu soup available, no steamed egg. Included with AYCE were: Green mixed salad and banchan : macaroni salad, mashed potatoes salad, bean sprouts, radish sliced thinly and rice paper, steamed rice. We requested kimchi. Pork jowl, beef belly and brisket, beef finger rib, marinated kalbi (2pieces per serving), we tried the sweet spicy pig skin - that was new for us. Kimchi pancake was also good, kimchi cheese fried rice also not commonly found in other KBBQ spots. The bill was the most surprising part of dinner. With 18% surcharge cost $143 plus change.

First time eating here. It was lively for a weeknight. A bit pricey for my liking, but it was good and we left stuffed. I think waiters could have done a better job explaining what was included with my price, especially since we informed them it was our first time there.

My absolute favorite KBBQ spot What sets this place apart from other typical KBBQ spots I feel are the sides! Omg the macaroni salad & potato salad are to die for. The meat is very good as well. Complimentary soft serve ice cream on your way out. Service is on point. I also love the music these guys play. They typically play 90s r&b along with new jams as well like Drake, Chris Brown, Summer Walker etc. It's a perfect spot to take your lover on a date night, drink a couple sojus and enjoy the music

Ayce menu B option is a great option and very affordable. The portion size was huge and frequent grill changes without having to ask. Packed at weekend lunch time but little to no wait. LA Galbi is flavorful, rib finger meat was cut into cubes, beef belly, flower steak, sirloin steak, and brisket. Steamed egg was tasty and all the banchan was better than other restaurants. Brisket and sirloin was lean, so if u want a better fat ratio go with beef belly and flower steak was better than sirloin. Ice cream at the end was plentiful and tasted like McDonald's. Excellent service

VERY PREJUDICE AGAINST SINGLE EATERS! It honestly makes me sad to leave this review cause the food doesn't taste bad, but this place treats single eaters like an unwanted menace. The service is slow, very avoidant and terrible. The manager wears a collared shirt and seems to only perk up when large groups of people enter. And he will treat them completely different to how he treats you. Do not waste your time coming here without a hot date or a big group. You'll find more hospitality at a gas station.

I fw this place fs. Food got me down bad. Any ppl saying food is bad don't cook their meat long enough. staff plays bangers and check in at reasonable intervals. The vibe is awesome in there, surprised they don't turn it into a club at night.

Food is amazing I love me a good Korean bbq it's like my go to Parking was not hard to find but I can see that it can get crowded so please keep that in mind on the weekends Food came out fast and meats were very fresh waiter kept coming and changing our grill I loved that. He kept our water and drinks flowing I will definitely be going back

We experienced rather poor customer service during our recent visit. We arrived at 8 o'clock and were seated. After placing our initial order, the manager informed us five minutes later that the last call for orders was at 8:30. This information was not provided to us prior to our ordering. Then, at 8:20, we were told it was time for the last call. Many of the items we requested were unavailable. Despite it being an "all you can eat" establishment and our receipt appearing things we never actually received very little and felt as though we were essentially asked to leave within 20 minutes.

Favorite KBBQ spot. Servers are great, food is great and the music/playlist is fun. Even when it gets busy the servers stay on top of everything. My family and I love coming here.

I have been coming here for years! This place has always been the spot for good Korean BBQ. There's days when you have to wait 30 min - 2 hrs for seating. Well worth it. Today was a breeze, less than 5 minutes wait. Moderate foot traffic is just the way I like. This way, you get pretty much the center of attention, lol. I was greeted by MICHELLE. Was so welcoming. She did not hesitate and was eager to sit you down so you could have the best experience possible. She explained about the digital menu by scanning the QR Code and breaking down the choices available since there's few options to choose from. She made sure you're comfortable and gave you enough time to get ready before taking orders. Talking about hospitality, A+! Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Drink: 1. Jinro Chamisul Peach Soju The light, soft flavor profile of peach adds just the right amount of fruit savor to negate any leftover sharpness from the soju. AYCE - MEATS: 1. PRIME BEEF BRISKET x6 2. Came here on a Saturday around 4:30pm there was like a 30 minute wait. Waitlist on sign in sheet in front and they call your name. Parking lot is small. Got seated next and waiter was quick. Music playing and some TVs around. Serving portions of meat was big. Ordered the rib-eye it was cut up and chewy once's cooked. Bulgogi was on the thicker side, and brisket was good. Side dishes were on the sweeter side. Best ones were the cucumbers, radish paper, salad, potato salad. The spicy tofu miso soup was flavorful but not spicy. Overall, good kbbq place just wished some side dishes were actually spicy and the bulgogi wasn't so thick.
