Gansevoort Liberty Market

Similar to the Tivoli food court in Copenhagen, this place was bigger and had more choice of food. Service was fast, food was excellent, and the ambience was crowded, but we were glad to get a place to sit and enjoy our food.

Food was good. This is inside the world trade center. They have a bunch of options for food.

This was a good find, we could all choose something different and we all really enjoyed our food. Market type place with seating in the middle, good option for a quick meal with lots of choice.

Downstairs in the World Trade Center, in the shadows of the Freedom Tower. Reasonably priced food with very good portions!!

A great place to grab a bite to eat and satisfy everyone. Spacious and well organized, there are a wide variety of cuisines from which to choose. Most are prepared as you order. There is also a good selection of grab-and-go food. I had the fish tacos which were quite good.

I like the Grab-N-Go counter. I enjoyed the steak & peppercorn sauce with rice and veggies (best if you pour the sauce over everything). The beverage selection is also decent.

Great good, good price, and interesting they have food from different cultures, and still pull it off great. If your in the area I'd recommend it here

Located inside the oculus down where the food market is. Sandwiches, fresh juice, baked goods, lunch specials... They have it all! Their seats everywhere sit sit inside the market and everything is freshly made.

A casual refuge from the other busy areas of the oculus. Great place for families to grab food as they had options like pizza, sushi, Korean food, tacos, sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee. There are a lot of seating and some baby chairs that you can grab then order at the food station of your choice. The last time I came here I ordered a poke and pizza slices that were pretty good. This time, we had the K-pop Kaus' tofu spicy stew and their must try braised short ribs!

This is a 3.5-star food court near the 911 memorial. It is at the Oculus WTC transportation hub and Westfield shopping mall. It is more upscale than a typical mall food court. I tried the Korean chicken wings and found them only so-so and of questionable value. There were several food options and a fair amount of seating. The place was clean and void of riff-raff. The Oculus itself is a sight to see.

I find this place pretty pricey and it mainly attracts tourists who mostly visits the Oculus or Westfield Mall. They serve a huge variety of food including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian and American food. They have sautéed stations when you go deeper into the market where you can customize or have the kitchen cook you a plate. Then they also have ready made hot meals stacked up for you to grab and go. They also have sushi platters in the $20s which I find kind of pricey. There are also lots of plastic wrapped utensils and paper bags on one counter up for grabs, which I find it weird because anyone can come and grab a lot of it. I normally don't find myself here unless I'm very hungry and running out of time so the last time I came here, I was in a rush to grab something quick and head back to work. I grabbed a steak in peppercorn sauce that was $15.95 pre tax and paid for it and they put a "Paid" sticker on it. I know there's a lot of seating around the drinks area where they carry a large variety of different waters, energy drinks, smoothies, sodas, and health drinks but decided to head back to work to eat my steak platter. Very loud ambience with lots of people coming and going out of the market. As soon as I opened the steak platter, I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't filled to the top as I expected for that price. Also I thought they would give more pieces of steak. It was an even amount. However the steak was very tender and juicy with the sauce that came with it. Very juicy and the rice was cooked to perfection. The rice was somewhat dry and had the right consistency where it is not overly cooked to the point that it is mushy. It had some oil to the touch making it tasty. The rice looked like a white pillow of rice. So cute too when you see each rice packed together with their ends rising.

Can I just say, in all my years of going to NYC, I never went to the world trade center. I had no clue it was such a huge mall there. But on to Gansevort - Food choices EVERYWHERE! Whatever you need, they have it. I got the detox juice and it was amazing and unsweetened. Just pure juice. They make it in front of you. I also got the thai salad. It was SO good. So much that I got one for lunch and then bought another one to have for dinner. I'm currently doing Autoimmune Paleo to rest my body and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to eat anything. I was very pleased by the variety in this food hall.

I recently visited Sammy's Taqueria and found the experience to be rather underwhelming. For $17.95, I expected a lot more from their tacos. The shredded chicken was bland and lacked seasoning, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the chips were flavorless, which didn't help the overall meal. I spent $26 on a meal that didn't quite hit the mark. On a more positive note, the rest of the market was clean and well-organized. The decor was nice, and there were plenty of options to choose from. While the food didn't meet my expectations, the ambiance of the place was decent. Unfortunately, I can't say I'd recommend it based on this visit.

Located inside the Oculus, this food hall is a good option for food while in Lower Manhattan! There's a good variety of options, made to order and grab and go, and lots of seating inside! We decided to try the Korean Chick N Buns stand, and went with the 5-piece soy garlic chicken strips with regular fries. It was delicious! While the fries were good and nothing to complain about, the star of the show was the chicken. It was well seasoned and tender, and we would definitely get it again! We're also excited to try the other foods offered here!

Cool place to grab lunch if you want to avoid the crowds in Hudson Eats. There is a large variety of vendors serving food from every part of the food: Korean, Mexican, Italian, American, and much much more. If you need something quick, they also have grab and go area that mimics a corner deli. The prices are a little on the higher end for lunch, but it really depends on your purchase.

When we arrived I was a little nervous about options for my teenage kids, but they saw Teriyaki Chicken and they were set. They said it was very good and the portions were very generous. I opted for the Hawaiian poke bowl and it was very fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend it. The prices were reasonable on all items. I would recommend coming here if you like Asian food. If you do not, there are a few options for you as well. My experience was positive and even if you are not a fan of Asian food, you might surprise yourself and find something new that you now love too.

It was my first time being in this place. I got some work done while waiting for a friend of mine and wanted to eat something light in the meanwhile. Chicken wings were my choice and I extremely enjoyed it. First of all, it was nice, crispy, and not too greasy considering it was fried. It was soy sauce based and it was not salty. There are many varieties of food which I want to try next time. The place is being kept by this gentleman who was cleaning the table constantly. There are lots of variety of drinks as well.

Located on the ground floor at the Oculus at Westfield WTC, this place offers various vendors in which you peruse and pick various food items to your heart's content. When we went, the following eateries were open: Two Geese Bakery, K-Pop Haus, Chick n Buns, Momo Curry, Sammy's Taqueria, Cebichelsea, Sal Anthony's, Buon Cibo, Umai Fish, Eat Well, and the Gansevoort Bar. We checked out the Gansevoort Bar for their brunch cocktails, and decided to order the Passion Fruit Mojito - it was made-to-order, super strong, and had a great passion fruit flavor to it - super refreshing! I wished there are larger cup sizes - haha! I just wished this place extended their hours, as it would have been a good option for dinner in the area. Gansevoort Liberty Market WAS in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan. Now it's located in the Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center. It's a typical modern food hall. The market offers diverse international dishes and the classic American Cheeseburgers. You can dine there or take out. I have found the dining area clean and spacious when they first open.   Visitors to the World Trade Center should go inside the Oculus and enjoy the beautiful architecture, the shopping, and if you get hungry find the Gansevoort Liberty Market and you will have a variety of cuisines to choose from for your meal. You're welcome.....

Great food court inside the Oculus that offers many inexpensive options for a decent meal. Probably close to a dozen vendors here from fresh juices, pastas, to Peruvian Cebiche. We ordered a meat ball pasta and a Mix Cebiche. The pasta was a great deal - big bowl with lots of meat. The "Cebiche" was interesting - for those who are not familiar with it (like me), it's like sushi with South American flavors and grains like roasted and big white corns. Both were good and great value for the money.

Huge variety to-go food plates, sandwiches, beverages and other things. Had a huge sub, but at $18, I guess it should be! It was made right then, but there was tons in the refrigerated sections everywhere. Almost everything was pretty expensive, but I guess that's expected as it's right next to the 9/11 area.

Nicely open food market in wtc area. You can find korean cuisine, sushi sashimi, salad, taco, pizza, pasta and etc. Very clean and neat!

TOO GOOD TO GO REVIEW: For $5.99+tax, I got a dragon roll, originally priced at $15.95. The roll tasted fresh although the slight browning on the avocado. Quick pick up and good amount of food for a meal.

I happened to stumble upon this food court, rather than struggle trying to find it. It is buried on the southern wing of the Oculus, underneath WTC3. They have a good variety of vendors to choose from, but I have been opting for the Grab n Go. Full selection of drinks, including alcohol, and snacks as well. Food is on the pricey side, but so is everything else in NYC.

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat after arriving in NYC I ended up getting a wrap. Simple but tasty it did the trick. Lots of food options here if a wrap doesn't suit you as well as communal seating.

Not sure if it is because of Covid, but there were not many options. We were there during noontime when it should be the busiest, but only half of the eateries were open. My group ordered from 3 different eateries. The food was either not very authentic, or very salty . Love the ample seating and cleanliness though!

Good place to sit for hours without being disturbed. Food is moderately priced but good portions. Better than a loud crowded coffee house!

Located on the concourse level of the Oculus, this place had multiple restaurants to choose from for a quick lunch. I saw there were Korean, Mexican, sandwiches, sushi, pizza, and a small market area to get beverages and desserts. Prices are a bit high, but it is a pretty nice and trendy food court. If you are visiting the WTC, this is a good stop, especially if you have hungry ones who don't want to walk a few extra blocks to visit one of the many restaurants in the south Manhattan area. I opted for sushi, which was amazingly delicious. Fresh fish prepared at the level expected of nicer sit down restaurants. The rest of my group got tacos and burritos, which smelled delicious. Judging from how fast they ate, they liked their food too. Before we left, I was able to grab a bottle of sparking water to take on the road from the market. Overall, nice spot inside the giant Oculus sculpture next to the World Trade Center memorial and museum.

Great option if you're running low on time and need to eat before or after commuting. Otherwise skip it and head towards better options in the area. Staff are kind inside all the venues and they have a fair selection of options once inside. Place is also clean, nice to eat inside, but I'd rather take the food and head outside the oculus if weather permits. It's usually a gorgeous view.

This is a good place to go if you're short on time and need something quick to eat. There's a couple of food places to eat if you want Peruvian, Korean or Japanese. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Okay, my Dutch roots drew me in directly across the intersection when I read "Gansevoort Market" across the front of this unique structure. Standing out among other architectural designs not of 200 years. My wife and I had to pay the Market a visit. Not knowing what we'd encounter, I hoped for a European trade and goods. Long gone. Now the interior is divided into a multitude of small start-up kitchens. Seating in the center in between more kitchens. It wasn't your run of the mill food court, but more rather a food truck bonanza less the trucks. We were holding out for a Lobster Roll in Chelsea's Market, this loop though turned into a de-watering stop and I had to sample the Gansevoort House Lager while I waited; smooth and thirst quenching. Next visit I would definitely sample the unique Asian and-or Indian dishes.

The Korean Chicken is AMAZING! Some of the best I have ever had. The fries were alright, I could've done without them. We also got the Crazy Roll across the way. The sushi rolls are very large and come with a DELICIOUS miso soup. It is also next to a bunch of other food places incase someone in your family wants something different to eat!

Since this review was removed, let me phrase this more in terms of the market (and PSA, each of the actual food vendors has its own Yelp page): There's a reason there aren't many people here; maybe because it's lesser known but maybe it's because it's high-ticket without the charm of Chelsea Market. I came here instead of Chelsea Market, because the former happens to be too crowded, and I was looking for more Asian food options, seemingly to be the highlight of some reviews. Let me say, I was quite let down. This Asian food does not even compare to much, much more authentic and quality restaurants all across the city, which would also be cheaper. The only good parts about Gansevoort were that my friend was able to eat this sandwich from Chelsea Market here, and there was space. Despite the emptiness at 1 pm on a Sunday, it was not quiet either, because someone brought his dog in and it barked a lot.

TWO GEESE BAKERY DOES NOT SELL CROFFLES. I came here specifically for the croffles but they told me they no longer sell it even though it's on their website! Also, they got mad at me for changing my coffee to decaf (because they had already made it) but I haven't even paid yet! I got a chocolate croissant next and asked for it toasted, but they don't offer toasting your pastries. They insisted they just came it though so I bought it but it was definitely not fresh, that thing was cold. The meals there are nothing special, definitely not worth coming here if you're experiencing NY for the first time. By the time we got there (around 1pm) the Korean place was out of tofu soup, ramen, and scallions so I got rice cakes and did not enjoy them. They were okay but did not finish them because they got cold quickly and were not very appetizing to begin with. The only place I heard compliments for was the pizza/pasta place. The pasta was a good serving size and tasted pretty good. Does not make you regret your purchase. The ambiance here is good for perhaps a group of friends after shopping, it's smaller than you might think. It is just an adult cafeteria that serves overpriced, mediocre food.

Gansevoort Market is one of the many food halls in NYC. Most people know the deal. Look for what they like, order, maybe eat there, or just take it back to your office or apartment. As is the case with most food halls, the vendors sometimes change on a seasonal basis. I ended up seeing Los Panchos Taqueria (if someone can direct me to their proper Yelp page, that'd be nice!). Food was pretty solid. I ordered basically a Chipotle-style bowl. Lots of veggies in the bowl and the verde sauce is key. Definitely a filling lunch for sure. Gotta try more here.

This food court is located in the lower floor of the Oculus. This place was busy around 2 pm on a Thursday but quickly cleared out. We opted for Korean food though there was a good selection of food. Some places were a bit pricey but we never saw the quantity or sampled the quality of the other food stalls. We both ordered Korean and although our order was pricey, the amount of food and the quality of our order was well worth it. There was also a grab and go area by the entrance for those on the go. Lastly, staff do ask to see ID and vaccination cards. Overall, great clean eating areas and a solid selection of sustenance. The restrooms are also right across and the escalators are right next to the entrance.

All of the restaurants were still closed. I was early for the business operation. Glad though the building staff let us stayed inside while waiting. This review was not completed but based during on a short stay inside, I felt a good ambiance. Definitely an alternative for Chelsea market. Got to comeback .

$15 for some of the worst quality chicken I've ever had at 2 geese. Seriously have had better gas station sandwiches. Wrap was stale, cheese was sad. Overall thumbs down.

While visiting Chelsea Market /Meatpacking District, we decided to go across the block to Gansevoort Market to grab something to eat. It's a food court to put it in the simplest terms. Not your mall food court type of place with an Orange Julius (but I wish there was one there). It's small mom & pop/small business owner type of place with really good foods to choose from. I mean so much to choose from, what do we get? Gourmet burgers? Fancy topping pizza? Awesome looking tacos? Poke? Fish & Chips? Waffles? Falafels? Thai food? Ceviche? Bakery items? Satay? So much more I am forgetting but we had to make a few laps around the market before deciding on a few places. We ended up getting some fried chicken at the Korean Fried Chicken place, not sure what the name of the business is but it's near the back. Soy ginger glazed chicken strips and some sweet potato fries, it was pretty good, not heavy breading on the chicken, but kind of wished they sauced it up more. Fries were pretty good too, so no real complaints here. Also we got a a few slices of pizza at Luzzo Pizza. The pizza was real good, I got the Salsicccia something, and another one with prosciutto and this balsamic drizzle. Square cut, more trapezoid cut pizza, thicker crust, tasty toppings and felt they didn't skimp on the toppings, crispy and just greasy enough to glisten those lips. For dessert, we had to get a few cookies from Chip. We got one with double chocolate chip and a S'mores one. Wow, these cookies are delicious! Ooey and gooey, warm, thick, a lot of chocolate, you gotta get a cookie here. There are tables all around the market to sit at, community style picnic tables to share with a stranger etc. Very chill atmosphere when we came here and wasn't too busy as we came by at an odd eating hour. There's a lot of food court type places, kinda hipster, street food options all over NYC, Gansevoort Market is a good one to eat at.

A market with tons of street food - what more do you need? Well faster service and better prices at some of the establishments, but I'm all in all it's a solid place to go if you're looking for many food choices and alternative to the Chelsea Market. From Asian BBQ (sorry I can't be more specific as I only tried some of wings that my friend ordered) to delightful Poke and amazing Ceviche and gelato, there's a lot of things for the passionate foodie to try and spend time here. We came here with a group of 4 and I suppose our biggest complaint was the long while it took some of us to get our food, but I guess you can't be too mad that a a place is busy ;). All in all, great alternative to the Chelsea Market where you may be rubbing too many shoulders with crazy-eyed tourists chewing on too lobster claws in one mouth and vegan sushi in the other. (Sorry, I don't know why that last image came to me). My imagination also placed a delicious taco on that tourist's head.

I love the gansevoort market ! It is a great place to grab a quick lunch in a relaxed modern setting in Chelsea. They also have my absolute favorite cookies in all of NYC which is chip cookies! You absolutely can't miss out on trying them if you happen to find yourself in the market. They have so many other options too you could eat your way around the market for lunch, dinner, or a snack and you'd still have so many things left to try !

The fettuccini Alfredo was AMAZING!!!!!! By far the best tasting I've ever had! I had the same dish at two other very famous places on our trip that didn't even compare!

This is a little market with several different good stalls and a bar in the back. We had pizza from a vendor who was close to the front. Can't remember the name of the place, but the pizza was good. The owner is Italian and the pizza reflects that...simple ingredients but really tasty. We had a Margherita pizza that was cooked in a high-heat oven. Anyway, back to the market. They had a couple of beef places, so if you're craving steak or a burger, you're set. At the front is an ice cream place that was super busy. I can see why people would come here to grab a quick bite to eat...you can get in and out quickly.

Are you a Tourist in NYC on a rainy day and need a pickup after reflection at the 9/11 memorial? Head over to the mall and go to this food market. They have a wide selection of foods and a happy hour all day. The drinks are legit - my margarita and my husband's manhattan were sufficiently strong and hit the spot. Korean fried chicken and fries made this a perfect break from the storm.

This market is so conveniently close to Fulton and inside the Oculus. Though I don't go to the Oculus shops often I will now that I know great food is next door! There are a variety of cuisines to choose from, on my first visit I went with the Peruvian menu and ordered the paella. So good! Often I feel when I order seafood paella that I'm ripped off on the amount of seafood but this one was perfect! I also picked up a few cookies and goodies from Two Geese Bakery - it sits right at the entrance and I couldn't leave without stopping after the fresh baked smell hit me walking in. The matcha canele was perfect and I'm afraid I could eat several in one sitting. The staff were super nice in explaining the menu to me, and understanding when the list of delicious-sounding items made me feel a bit indecisive. Also, the inside was spotless, staff all wore ppe, and kept everything spaced out. Next time I can't wait to try the Japanese curry (a must for winter) and more cookies and caneles. 10/10 recommend, I'm jealous of those working in the area that can come here on every lunch break!

Peruvian counter today was delicious. I even got a tasting of the Cebiche, leche de tigre which is the lemon sauce that the ceviche is cooked in and it was so good I almost changed my order! Had the Lomo Saltado, beef with rice and French fries was incredible! Sauce is spicy!

a very decent food hall to stop and get a quick bite while you are in the area! there is plenty of seating and service is quick and smooth. i usually come here for the fries, or maybe a curry dish or Korean fried chicken, or a bulgogi bowl.

The food is decent and prices are slightly high but the place is clean, lots of options, etc. the only real downside to it is that it's hard to find if you're within Westfield. It's easy to find it if you start at the street level on Liberty

First off love the selection. There was food for everybody from sushi to pizza. I got the california chicken wrap and it was super good and fresh. I also got the chicken prosciutto sandwich and it was huge and tasty. The pizza was also good and big. I also got the smoothie which was healthy and fresh. The was a good section of desserts as well. I got the mango pudding and tres leche cake and it was delicious. One thing i disliked was how cramped it was and how long the food took to make. But overall super good.

Stopped through for a quick snack after walking through the oculus. I had a veggie roll from the sushi bar. There were so many options, would love to go back and try other things there were people who went around cleaning the tables and checking for vaccination for those who ate in the market!

We had the chicken burrito and chips and salsa. The burrito was excellent! The chicken was shredded, and had great taste and was not dry. The salsa was like a jalapeños salsa rather than tomato based. Excellent. Would definitely return.

Loved the ambiance but I waited 45mins for my sandwich. I had to go ask about it 3 times and for whatever reason they kept telling me it was coming up. I think at the end they realized they had never made it. The sandwich was ok but definitely not worth a 45min wait. Had a fresh pressed juice and that was amazing!

Love love love this place. Blending of all different types of food items all in one place. My friend and I stopped by here before going to brunch with some friends just to check out what Gansevoort offers. There were tons of smells that made me want to try EVERYTHING, but I could not. We wandered around and took some pictures as the inside is very pretty. There was a lot of seating all around, might get packed during busy times but worth it to try the food from what I smelled at least. If you are a fan of Asian food, this place is for you. Next time, I will definitely grab some food and spend more time here.
