Came here for a work bonding party on a Monday afternoon. This place is 21+ only and the first thing they do when you arrive is check your ID. They're also strict about no outside food and drinks. For 15 of us, 2 hours of bowling across 3 lanes, 2 drink tickets that included beer and wine, and an unlimited fajita bar, the cost was $1100.
Our time started at 3 PM but we arrived a bit late. But we were able to quickly get our bowling shoes, and set up our games at our lanes and get to bowling! The workers disseminated our drink tickets and also set up the fajita bar. So the positives. The people serving us were incredibly nice and attentive. The fajita bar was smaller, but they had plenty of food for us (and we may have all pre eaten at salt and straw down the street). But the chicken was actually really well cooked and flavorful, so I was overall pleasantly surprised by the option! They also got peoples drinks very quickly. Soda was included for people who weren't into beer or wine. Because there were hard seltzers on the beer and wine menu, I asked it it was included but was told no. The worker did come back and offered to put syrup in carbonated water for me but I politely passed.
The less great part comes from the bowling. In one of the lanes, the ball got stuck in the gutter in the middle of the lane 3 times. So someone had to be called or we had to wait for the ball to come back to us slowly. In another of the lanes, towards the 9th or 10th frame of each game, the pins just failed to reset and we had to wait as we watched someone manually reset the pins. This was mildly concerning just because we could only see the persons hands (they were behind the lane?) but there was no warning this was happening on our end, so it could have been mildly dangerous for them had we not been paying attention. And lastly, though we paid for two hours, they shut off our bowling around 4:50. Which, even with our correct booking time, is shorter than what we paid for. And especially with the steep price and the other issues with the lanes, seems questionable.
Overall, if you're really into bowling, there are surely better places around for that. If you're coming to relax and spend time with people, then maybe it's worth it, especially if you take advantage of the pool tables or the games off to the side, which some people in my group did later in the evening.
