So good, perfect for a quick stop off the 10. Not busy at all. Great and fresh vegan and non vegan Mexican. There are no restrooms here or anywhere next door.

Great vegan options. I really enjoyed my fries and my cheese tamale. Love the free chips that come with my food.

The food here is very tasty, they have a regular menu and a vegan menu. I love the vegan champorrado, horchata, tamales, pombasos, tortas, machaca, nachos, and burritos, all vegan. This is a stop I always make when I'm in the area. The workers are also happy to answer questions and make ordering easy. There is indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of parking. I highly recommend to try the food and drinks here.

Well worthy of a five star for serving an area with limited vegan options but half of the items missed. Those that hit were sooooo danky that it made up for the others. What we liked: the Milanese torta is perfect, get that! The piña colada was also a flavorful and nostalgic, a must get to wash down the food. Take a queso fresco home and put it on everything. This should be your order! What missed: we were most excited for the albondigas soup but it was a bit bland. Maybe we’ll go back when it gets cold to see if it hits any different. The cheese on the chili fries was also not what I personally like in the plant-based era we are in. Maybe I got the wrong sweets but the gansitos were not fluffy and sweet but rather stiff. Food did not take long (we ordered a good amount, about $100) so I’ll definitely check it out again when I’m the area (maybe twice a year). OOOMMMGGG…. This WAS the Vegan jackfruit enchiladas guys!!! Lol sooo sorrrryyyy but they are bomb and gooo get you some AUTHENTIC MEXICAN VEEEGGAAAANNN FOOD ladies and gentlemen! Vegan review of the food. Everything I have tried thus far is very flavorful and the portions are very generous. My favorite items by far are the tamales, it is all about the masa (dough). Had the jalapeno & cheese and the green jackfruit. I have also had the potato taquitos, the red jackfruit nachos, the california burrito with adobo cauliflower and the enchilada with adobo cauliflower. What I like the most is that they have a separate kitchen for all the vegan food items, so there is no cross contamination with non- vegan items containing animals and animal by-products. The wait time is a hit or miss, it can be super long or super short & quick. I recommend this establishment and will return.

One the of best places as a vegetarian to get Mexican food! Not only are the portions HUGE they taste amazing! I've tried many places for vegetarian/vegan Mexican food I always come back here because they can't compare Their vegan chili cheese fries is enough to feed 2 people and it tastes like the real deal My favorite go-to burrito is their vegan california burrito with Red Jackfruit! Their vegan menu is just as big as their meat compared items so there's something for everyone! I recommend to call your order in because it does take some time to make your order

Great taco shop with lots of vegan options. Very reminiscent of my days eating at A taco shop growing up. This is my new go to in LA Area. The potato rolled tacos were amazing. The guacamole with cashew cream really set it apart. Also had the cali burrito but Not a fan of jackfruit so I tried the vegan chili with beans for the protein. It was sooo delicious. Note: The burrito was huge. Very big portions by the way. You will get full. Didnt take pictures but their vegan pastries were also amazing. You have to try this place.

I been waiting for the opportunity to get some Garduno's and Zomg! As a dirty vegan, this was a treat!! Had to travel for an appointment so I hit em up. The señora at the front was helpful and I got the Vegan Cali Burrito ($14.50) with jackfruit verde and ofc had to get a dessert so they had the Vegan Tres Leches ($8.95). Prices for the vegan menu were scratched out so figured I would post the receipt. Honestly like a lot of solid Mexican joints in LA, except vegan so worth the trip! Will def come again next time I'm in the area cuz I want a torta milanesa haha

I have come here several times for their vegan options. It's definitely not the healthiest food, but it is good. I've had the jackfruit and cauliflower nachos, tamales, gansito, churro pastries and vegan horchata. The workers are nice and there is some outdoor seating, but I always take my food to go. Overall, I like that there's greasy vegan fast food close to me when I want.

Tried this place for the very first time...had the delicious vegan taco plate. Love that they have a vegan menu but wish they had the prices listed like they do on the non vegan food. I thought breakfast for three of us at $50 was a bit pricey for a place that has a walk up window to order. And a small square of vegan cake for $9 was way overpriced.

I love that they have a vegan menu! The parking lot is small and ordering is from a kiosk. I remember there being some outdoor seating. Food was relatively quick since there wasn't a line and I tried their burrito. It was delicious! Server was friendly and they take card. This place is close to work so I'm happy to frequent them more often. They also have vegan horchata and desserts like tres leches cake.

No as good as suggested. Maybe it was good to others, but for me personally it wasn't on par to other places I've tried

Bean and cheese burritos are horrible. No cheddar cheese, just Jack. I should have run when she said Jack. Beans were from a can and disgusting..

Thank you Garduno's for your customer service in addition to your great food. After I tried to order delivery and the order was somehow reflecting pick up , grubhub support refused to cancel my order saying the merchant wouldn't allow the order to be cancelled which wasn't true. They ended up having to help me after support wouldn't. Won't be using grubhub anymore but will continue to support Gardunos.

Decided to stop by for a Soyrizo Burrito and glad I did. The burrito itself had beans in it, big fan of breakfast burritos with beans instead of hash. Generous amounts of other ingredients: tofu scramble, Soyrizo, avocado and potato. My plan was to eat half and enjoy my coffee since I'm not a breakfast guy. I couldn't stop eating! The burrito was not greasy at all, and full of flavor. Salsa was average but I didn't need it. Friendly service at the restaurant, and seems to be plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. "I'll be back." Thank you Garduno's for the breakfast burrito of my dreams!

Flash forward 5 years and this is still one of my favorite spots for local vegan food!! Since my first review they have added so much to their menu, vegan chilaquiles, vegan chili cheese fries, vegan tamales, vegan milanesa torta, etc. Don't get me wrong, their food is a little expensive but in my opinion you get what you pay for. Good quality food and a good amount of it too. I sometimes wonder how much the burritos weigh lol. Gardunos has been a part of some big events for me in the past years, tamales for the holidays, champurado and food food my baby shower, some memorable lunches (like after my niece was born), and the service is always great! The staff is so flexible and friendly. The ambiance is BP and that's definitely one of their charI'd! It would be nice to see the drive up service up and running in the future. And also to slowly phase out animal menu items my parents are not vegan so they always like to order their non vegan stuff, but since I'm paying, I always get them vegan stuff to show them how delicious gardunos vegan food is! Even if you aren't vegan, give their vegan options a chance, you won't regret it!

I love coming here for the vegan options, the breakfast burrito and the vegan Champurrado are so delicious! I've had coffee here as well so good! Don't forget to add your vegan tres leches better than the real thing!

Ambience is great. Lines may move fast depending on if they want to take all orders. Highly recommend the all meat burritos, the food is amazing and the value is there!

Came across this place and it exceeded my expectations. I got the potato taquitos, which came with beans and rice, and it was delicious. Their burritos are big (my boyfriend got the vegan California burrito) and really tasty as well. It's a small casual restaurant, with a little bit of both indoor and outdoor seating. 5 stars!

Small local business with a surprising amount of vegetarian options which was nice to see were available. I opted for the cheese enchilada plate. It was ok. I think I would try some of the tacos next time. My husband got the chicken burrito and it was tasty. Portions are reasonable for cost. I gave my review a 4 because I think they could have additional help to provide stellar customer service. The place needs an update. The place looks a bit run down and not very welcoming. I also did not like that they only had one very small trash container that was overfilled already. I believe with a little TLC this could be a great place to come with family. Overall it was ok and I'll be back to sample other things from menu. I know they been in business for many years and I could see why the community supports this establishment. I would definitely give this place a try.

I have eaten here so often I have received a couple Yelp badges because of it. This far I have had- (all vegan) carnitas fries, breakfast burrito, nachos, Taquitos , quesadilla , the lavender lemonade, the dessert that taste like a strawberry filled donut .. I've had the Burrito a few times. It's extremely delicious and I tell everyone about it.

I'm always glad to find places that have vegan options and this place has a lot. I chose the jackfruit red tamal, really good! My husband ordered the Cali burrito and enjoyed it.

Today I ordered one crispy beef for $4.36 and what you can see in the image, I have barely any meat just mostly lettuce and cheese. FYI I presented the opened taco to person at the front counter and they informed me that this is how they serve the tacos sorry. I feel like I got robbed.

Tried their Champurrado and when I'm in the mood I'll definitely order. It might be fall but still feels like summer in the middle of the day. I had a Jaimaica and N ordered the Pepino with Lime. We shared the vegan nachos with cauliflower. N doesn't like cauliflower but she liked these Nachos. Originally, she was like I'll take a bight. I'm relieved the bite turned into half. The chips were perfect because they didn't get soggy with all the toppings. So full!

Great food and service . Best Mexican fast food in town in my thoughts . Good size portions and plenty of parking with wheelchair access.

I had a Door Dash credit so I ordered a couple vegan items. The vegan nachos with adobo cauliflower is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. Must try!!!!! Thx for having delicious vegan options!

Really yummy. Like most places these days, kinda pricey for takeout Mexican. BUT food is good. Their vegan menu is yummy too.

Good spot to grab a burrito or some taquitos and I love that they have vegan options, even though I haven't tried them. My sister did however get the jackfruit burrito and loved it! She already was planning to come back. The super combo burrito is massive and can easily be two meals. Their carnitas was pretty good, beans were awesome, with standard rice and guac. Overall a tasty burrito but not quite 5-stars as I'm spoiled with my Mexican food and I've had better in the area. I wish my burrito had more carnitas in it especially for the size. I'm super intrigued by their dessert items, and that plus their big menu with lots of other options would definitely sway me to return. I'll probably opt for the taquitos or the California burrito next time. My brother has had both and only has good things to say about them. I'd say if you're craving some reliable Mexican food and are nearby, give this place a go and you won't regret it.

First time coming here with the bf. He remembered this place from when he lived in Baldwin park. We decided to try it today and it didn't disappoint. We had a wet burrito that was a good size for us to share. The carne asada was a little bland, but overall the burrito was pretty good. We also got a taco de Al pastor and a carnitas one. The carnitas were delicious, they were tender and had a lot of flavor. The Al pastor was also good. The only meat that was a little disappointing was the asada. The cashier was friendly and you can eat out in the open. For my vegan readers they have a good amount of vegan choices. It was a good experience and we will definitely come back. The seating area is small but quaint. It is on a busy intersection but still a nice experience.

5 stars alone just for this place having a whole vegan menu. I have tried the jackfruit meats twice and didn't like it either time. Like the brine flavor is still there? I love the potato taquitos though. The cashew cream is so bomb! My dad always gets the vegan ceviche with heart of palms in it. They usually have some kind of vegan special drinks and desserts too.

I have only had the burritos here. The secret ingredient is grilled onions. They serve them with a side of chips. They serve an extensive vegan menu.

I think Gardunos has great staff and their food is pretty good but extremely over priced. I have noticed this for a while now. I'm not vegan but I do watch my meat intake. And while I know vegan food cost more this is not healthy vegan food and a jackfruit burrito with beans, small amount of avocado and rice is not worth $17. It's not that great or huge in size. I ordered two shredded beef tacos today at 3.99 each they barely had any meat (see picture. ) and this Is not the first time. Maybe I'm exaggerating because I'm pregnant and hungry but you be the judge. I have had their jackfruit tacos, vegan nachos and jackfruit burritos, which are really good. My son and husband has had their grilled cheese and breakfast burrito and both went in the trash. The breakfast burrito was mostly hash brown and the grill cheese was stiff barely any cheese and the bread was really dry. I just think they need to lower the price on some things because beans and rice haven't gone up that much for the burritos to be $17 or $16.89 something like that. I won't be back

My go to vegan food stop been going for years Local so gotta support My go to is the bean and cheese burrito added cilantro and onions Huge portions and always includes chips and salsa Salsa is tasty slight spicy But anything here vegan is always a hit They also carry vegan drinks and pastries They always so good to get if your not stuffed

Drove 3 miles to try out this place only to find closed. It said it was open but at 8:05 am nothing locked up tight....

Appreciate the full vegan menu. I can't say much about the service or ambiance because I have only ordered thru Grub Hub. The food is always tasty & a great option for the vegans in the community !

If you want really good Mexican Vegan food, this is the place. Cannot stress how hard it is to find good Mexican food and on top of that to be vegan.

I love Gardunos! It's not close to my house but is close-ish to my boyfriends house so we eat here when I'm visiting. I've tried a few vegan items, and they have all been good. The last time I went, I tried the vegan chili cheese fries, and I was in love with them. A long time ago, pre-vegan days, I used to love going to those burger joints and getting the best chili cheese fries ever. It's been very hard to find a vegan version of those kinds of fries. Lots of places have chili cheese fries, but they are skinny fries or have some unique sauce on it. These are very close to those chili cheese fries of my dreams. If you are vegan, you have probably already been here, but if you haven't been, go!

What is there not to love about Gardunos. The first burger joint I know of that serves vegan options. Along with the non-vegan options that have only continued to get better throughout the years. Keep up the good work.

I have gotten this place quite a few times on GrubHub and have been pleasantly surprised by the taste, quality, and price. The tacos are only a few dollars each and are a really good size. I also have gotten their grilled chicken salad which is loaded in a lot of good and healthy fresh flavors. Would certainly recommend for some good Mexican food.

The cauliflower burrito is delicious. The red salsa is also good. It's great to have the vegetarian options available

Finally! A great Vegan Mexican Food joint! I was able to see someone post on social media, and decided to drive out to give it a try! They had a huge selection for their Vegan menu! Best of all was that also had other selections as well! I want to apologize at first because the pictures I took of the food was after I plated them from a togo order, just to be a little safer from the COVID-19 craziness. I'll make sure to take better photos next time! Food Cauliflower Taco & Jackfruit Taco - my wife was the one that got these, I tried a bite, and thought they were pretty nice but definitely spicy. I don't know if there will be an option to get no spicy next time. I enjoyed it at least. Al Pastor Taco - this was pretty good, well marinated and cooked, but I believe this may not be the same pastor you may expect from like a taco truck. Still pretty good. Vegan Fries- this was quite good, we ended up getting half jackfruit and half cauliflower, but I believe next time we would just go w the cauliflower for more texture. Vegan Quesadilla- this was by far one of my kids and our favorite dish. Had the nice little crunchy texture on the outside but loaded on the inside with vegan cheese. Everyone should give this a try. Again I'm glad we were able to try this place. There were even markers for people to stand, and everyone kept their distance with masks. Will be back, and will be aiming for those Nachos! Great vegan food! We had the vegan nachos, vegan cali burrito, and the vegan torra and all were delicious! The portions are HUGE. The taste is amazing. The red and green jackfruit served in our food is flavorful and not too salty (usually found at vegan restaurants). Gardunos is clean. Service is quick. Easy to get in and out. Lots of parking. Definitely worth returning and trying their other vegan options!

LOCATION - I've always seen this restaurant after coming home from the Metrolink in Baldwin Park. Down Pacific, you can see the sign from a mile away. FOOD - So a friend of mine (who's vegan), posted about getting some tacos from here. I was definitely interested so I went over and to my surprise, a HUGE selection of vegan options! All of their desserts are vegan, they have vegan horchata, and much, much more. I ordered a pair of Queso Birria Tacos and a Vegan Cali Burrito with Adobo Cauliflower. I was blown away by the taste and just how good it is especially for being vegan. You can't go wrong here! SERVICE - I was greeted by a kind young woman who took my order. She was helpful. With the masks, screens, it's hard to hear one another but that isn't too big of a problem. Definitely going back!

Food is amazing here!! You gotta try the vegan chili cheese fries if you come here!! Their vegan cheese is super creamy and yummy! I was CRAVING some chili cheese fries and I haven't had vegan chili cheese fries in a long time so Gardunos chili cheese fries really hit the spot! The fries are nice and thick and the vegan meat in chili is soo good. I believe it's impossible! The portions of huge here too! I had the fries for dinner and lunch the next day! My partner got the vegan California wet burrito with red jackfruit! To be honest, we felt that the jackfruit needed a bit more flavor, it was a little bland :( The vegan gansito and the vegan churro cake are divine!! They're absolutely beautiful too I can't wait to go back and get more!

I'm gonna keep it real guys... Garduno's Taco King is hit or miss. But when it is a hit- it's AMAZING. It's similar to having mood swings. Some days you feel like you are on top of the world and other days you want to crawl into a ball in a cold, dark room. Garduno's has mood swings too! Catch them on a "good day" when they have all of their ingredients stalked and someone who can speak and understand English and you are good to go!!! But... If you accidentally come on a "bad day" you will notice the difference. The lady taking your order won't be very clear or confirm your order. She will make you some random crap you didn't even order. And you will leave unhappy. I have been to Garduno's Taco King twice now. First time was sky-high nirvana! I was extremely impressed with the food quality. I ordered Vegan Cheese tamales and a Vegan Chili Cheese Fry. The second time I came, the food was barely edible. You see, I ordered a Vegan Cheese Quesadilla, a Bean and Cheese (vegan), and Vegan Chili Cheese fries. I received something that resembled a quesadilla, but it did not have any cheese at all, and it came with some vegetables and avocado. Ummmm okay? What the actual efffff guys!? That is NOT a quesadilla. My Bean and Vegan Cheese burrito came with JUST beans. Again, What the........! To the Garduno's employee: If you run out of Vegan Cheese, please tell us! Don't just try to make the same menu items without cheese. What you served me was DISGUSTING. I ate a burrito full of beans and a weird wannabe quesadilla that wasn't edible. I debated on 3 stars but decided to give them the extra 4th because they have potential. And I do appreciate the vegan cheese option.

Food was delish in only had food from the vegan menu i am not vegan but i definitely was not disappointed flavor was good i had their chili cheese fries and their jackfruit tacos i have yet to try more on the menu.
