Great food! Loved the burger, the mac & cheese, the sweet potato fries.

I just moved to the area and kept walking/driving past this place. Always a good crowd. A couple of buddies and I decided to try it. Good vibes, food (not a fan of the cheese curds-they were okay), and drinks. We had a good time and will be back for sure. My plate - the fish tacos were good as heck! Great overall spot.

This place is absolutely lovely! A nice, laid back atmosphere, we sat on the patio and had a lovely time. Good drinks, incredible pizza, fantastic service! I asked for a gin mule, which isn't on their menu, but they were more than happy to provide! (And it was incredible)

Honestly the food, service, and drinks are all average. I usually have to flag the servers down to put my order in and the smash burger is by far the best item on the menu. Beer selection doesn’t have anything noteworthy and the cocktails are lackluster.

Fun place for bottomless brunch and to watch football games (busy during Ohio State games as it’s is an OSU watch bar. Food was good and fun that it comes with a dessert bar and donuts! Also loved they have a mixing station for mimosas. Would recommend!

Was in Chicago for a few days visiting from Toronto. Gaslight was down the street from our Airbnb, so we decided to try it out and ended up going 3 days in a row. The food was fantastic, and they had a great atmosphere and music. Our server, Bianca, was incredible. She was lovely and one of the reasons we kept returning.

Nice sports bar to enjoy a meal. Service was a bit slow, but otherwise had no issues. Everything we tried was good, just standard American food.

Their brunch is so affordable a the best thing to have with a hangover. The friend chicken, waffle Benedict was so so good. It wasn’t too sugary or greasy at all. Great atmoshphere and service as well!

Food hit the mark for good bar food. FYI, the tots are definitely more than shareable and the cheese curds were epic. Tried the frose and it was good! Service was great, it was a buckeye game day so the ambiance was chaotic in the best way possible. Does get crowded early for game days so get there between the end of a game and the start of a new one.

Fun place to watch a game + drink if you like beer or drinks in cans. I was underwhelmed with the mule, espresso martini, and margarita. I should have stuck with seltzers. The food was okay. The nachos were good. The honey goat cheese salad was good, but my goat cheese fritter had very little goat cheese in it which was disappointing. The boneless garlic parmesan wings didn't appear to have any garlic parm sauce on them. The boneless bbq wings were better since they were saucy. The cookie skillet was a little burnt which took away from it. The middle, which wasn't burnt, was great. There appeared to only be one server and she was killing it! I was super impressed with her attentiveness even while being incredibly busy.

Gaslight is a cute bar with generous outdoor seating. They have at least 6 different TVs so that you can always see some sport that is playing. We got seated quickly and service was great. From an extensive menu of bar eats to a great selection of drinks on tap, Gaslight is a great spot to spend a few hours with friends and watching sports. The fried chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend it! The smashburger also definitely hit the mark. Gaslight will quickly become a frequently visited spot for my friends.

Nice sports bar on the main strip of Clark in Lincoln Park. I sat out on the patio area. It's a nice spot to watch a lot of sports games on one of the many TVs, while sipping on one of their many drinks and munching on one of their many food items. I just got some fries, they came with this really tasty house seasoning. They have your standard beer draft selection, with the usual crafts, and a good amount of house cocktails and old favorites. The staff were all nice. If it's real hot outside, the patio may be a bit hot as well, especially if there's a lot of people there, but if you're too hot you can always go outside as well. Not too expensive, especially for the area. I could see myself popping in again if I'm ever in the area.

This was an okay sports bar. The food options were fine, nothing too crazy or anything that stands out. Didn't have any alternative meat options. The drinks were also okay. They were pretty busy for CFB and good amount of screens to watch all the games but servers seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of tables.

Had a great time here on a Tuesday night for a late dinner and a couple beers. Got in right as the kitchen was closing and the staff was super nice and let me order anyway. Outdoor patio is super sick with TVs everywhere. Covered with heaters as well. Great vibe. Was looking for a place to watch the Zags v Saint Mary's game late night so it was perfect (go zags). Had a great time chatting with Josh the GM as well. We talked hoops and football for like 30 minutes, he's a great guy. Made sure I was taken care of the whole time I was there Alright- the food Smoked Turkey Sandwich - 5/5 I kinda just wanted something simple with a good amount of protein since I was coming from the gym. This thing exceeded all expectations -see pictures. Very flavorful and generous amounts of all ingredients on the sandwich. It's on this like tomato focaccia type bread as well that is to die for. Was told afterwards by Josh that this is his favorite item on the menu so highly recommended! Mac n Cheese - 3/5 Nothing to write home about really here. Since I just moved to chicago I'll try to keep it local with the sports analogies but kind of like a Nikola Vucevic of Mac n cheeses. You're kinda forget you have it but it certainly does the job. Overall dope spot that's super close to my place. Gonna have to come back for trivia and brunch to see what that's all about!

Tried a new beer this time, service was quick and our waitress was very friendly! Sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice Friday afternoon!

Gaslight is a fun neighborhood bar with lots of seating options and a good spot for groups. It's a fun atmosphere, and the outdoor space is very nice in the summer. There's a lot of people who come here to watch sports. On Wednesday nights they have trivia at 7:30pm (make sure you make a reservation if you plan to come). The trivia is quite challenging questions in a variety of categories but they give away high dollar gift cards so it's pretty fun. I tend to feel like most of the servers are in a bad mood whenever I have come here. The food is ok; I got a buffalo chicken salad as a wrap with sweet potato fries. I like the you can get the salads as wraps but it is pretty standard bar food. The tater tots are pretty good too! They have a good menu variety.

New to the neighborhood and swung by for some drinks and dinner. By the time we arrived, it wasn't too crowded and there was room on the patio - great spot to get fresh air while watching games in the many televisions. To eat, we got the Buffalo chicken wrap & the fish tacos. Both were good & refreshing. By the time we were close to leaving, the bar really filled up with younger people, standing room only, but our waitress was still extremely attentive. Would go back!

Great food. Great drinks! Great service!! Great overall environment!! I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit

Their kitchen closes at 10:00 pm The website doesn't bother to inform us. Even though the place stays open until 2:00 am. A don't bother for me.

The quesadilla was DELICIOUS - highly recommend!! Very flavorful and filling all for a really good price. My boyfriend liked his sandwich but definitely wished he got the quesadilla instead. We love the vibe with outdoor seating. It's perfect in the summertime. Service was great as well, no complaints!

Gaslight was the perfect place for dinner our first night in the city. We sat on the raised patio (a great vibe!). The food was yummy, service was awesome, and we loved that they had a variety of fun non-alcoholic cocktails. Would highly recommend!

I'm back - what stood out today was our server Annie who was chill, approachable, with perfect timing when you want her around. Standouts tonight was the cheese curds, the pretzel and the margie pizza (margharita) - light, subtle, yet satisfying. Special thanks to the fresh pot of Coffe at the end. My previous review also stands especially with the alcohol. I had amaretto stone sour - no complaints.

I love this place. Awesome staff, amazing food, great bottomless mimosa deals, and fun environment. We came for an Ohio state game and got the 2 hour $20 bottomless mimosa deal (comes with a donut!) it was so fun and everyone loved their food! I got the fried chicken Benedict and will def get again. Can't wait to come back!

I'm back again but now with friends from my building nearby because my boy RYAN from the previous review has committed to living in Grand Rapids for the rest of his life. Happy for him. Glad he's no longer dating the woman he moved back there for. He deserves better. He met someone new and he's happy now. LFG We adapt, we persevere, we overcome. I digress. Really just checking in to say that Gaslight STILL rules. Can't tell if any of the people who worked here when I came last time are here tonight, but that's also because I'm wearing my glasses and the prescription isn't up to date. Bouncer was kind and that goes a long way with me. Haven't ordered yet bc my neighbor and friend got me a Modelo, but I'm sure that when I do - things will be great. Maybe I can have my birthday here? Saw they do private events

Went here Tuesday with my girlfriends and it was a chill place to go for a weekday. We sat in the "outside" area which was really nice during a windy/ spring day. On Tuesdays they do a Taco special, with $8 margs so I got two of those and they really really good. 2 of my other friends did the same & the 2 others did an IPA and a Mule. We didn't get any starters, but for to eat, I got a prosciutto pizza with arugula and it was fantastic! That combo for me on a pizza is already unmatched. Not all my friends ordered food but the two others who did got tacos for the special that day. The service was whatever. Our server came to check up and stuff but wasn't overly nice or anything, she kinda seemed like she didn't wanna be at work (who could blame her LOL). Overall good vibes especially outside. I would go back.

The brunch here is fantastic. The bottomless mimosa deal is great and you get to pick your juice flavor. I always recommend this bar for it's consistently delicious food, reasonably priced drinks and a great atmosphere all year around.

TURN THE MUSIC DOWN! It's so annoying. You can't even hear the person sitting next you. If it was more of a bar vibes I would get it but it's set up as a sit down restaurant.

Definitely would recommend Gaslight - especially if you're an OSU fan! The food was good but the drinks were better (we got the Aperol Spritz, Cruel Summer, and Blackberry Margarita). The brunch menu wasn't extensive, but surprisingly decent for a bar. Can't wait to come back!

Trivia every Wednesday starting at 7:30! Make a reservation because tables go fast!! They have great deals every day, including Wednesday's $15 deal- burger and fries, draft beer, and a shot of bourbon. Great space with a ton of tables. Definitely recommend

This place is great. I have been here twice and absolutely loved it each time. It's a great vibe. A walk in bar, and they play throwbacks and current hits (LOVE). The food was great, and i was surprised since it was a bar. Truly a delicious meal, and so fresh. Not pictured, but I got a Prickly Pear cocktail & that was delicious and so refreshing. I came here with a group the first time, and then by myself the second time and it was an awesome experience both times. I 100% recommend this bar for a bar/grill type environment, good food, good music, great vibes/people, and great drinks. I will definitely be back!!

Gaslight is a Lincoln Park staple. Being part of the 4 Corners Restaurant Group, it gave me somewhat of an idea of the food and atmosphere before ever coming here. I was a regular at School Yard back in the day (RIP!), and many of the menu items at Gaslight are similar. We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday night and it was packed! Luckily, there was a little high top table we were able to snag. This is off the main patio space (that is entirely enclosed and heated!). Our table had a bit of a wobble but the doorman was kind enough to quickly get us a stopper which did the trick. I sipped on a spicy margarita which didn't have much spice but was tasty regardless! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which was phenomenal. The grilled ciabatta bread complimented the flavors in the dip perfectly. I went with the turkey burger for my main meal which was good but didn't blow me away. The fries and truffle aioli though? Chefs kiss. Great little neighborhood spot that I'll continue to support!

Good wings. Good beer. We sat outside on the covered patio and watched college basketball. It was a great place to do just that. I think they likely have good brunch as well because everyone was drinking mimosas and bloody Mary's. I'll have to go back for those.

Went here for bar food and college football but ended up really disappointed. We were told to seat ourselves at the door but once we sat, we were not seen by a server for 25 mins. People who sat after us were greeted and got their order in before us. When we finally did get to order and eat our food, I took 2 bites out of the Turkey burger only for it to be extremely undercooked, as seen in the pic. I would hate to see what the middle of the burger looked like. The server thankfully took it off the bill and we promptly paid and left. I would definitely pass on this bar. Plenty of other sports bars out there with great food n service. Just grateful I didn't get sick.

A really fun place to watch a game and have some bar food, Gaslight offers a nice variety of standard cocktails and drafts along with above average bar food. Even during covid, it's a fun vibe, trending younger with people being safe while enjoying being out with friends. Definitely a cool spot to hang for afternoon drinking or a night out with friends.

Fun spot! I love their covered patio - it's great any time of year. The food is always delicious and they have so many great things on the menu. The turkey burger is my go to and the fries with it are so good. The service unfortunately can be super hit or miss, but it's not bad enough to stop coming here. I'm sure I'll be back soon for drinks or food

Location is a winner. Other than that nothing too great. There are a few things that you'll want to check out though. They have a mimosa package with fresh juices for $20 which is a really good deal, if only I liked champagne;) The mac and cheese skillet was spicy and delicious and very filling for only $10. Perfect size to share as an appetizer. Skip the honey goat cheese wrap. It was flavorless and nothing great. I wasn't even sure there was goat cheese in it. Sweet potato fries weren't anything special. I should have gone with the tots - lol. Gaslight has a great patio, ok service and mediocre food for average Chicago prices.

Great atmosphere on the patio for brunch, food was excellent, the bar back (I think his name was David) was very sweet!

I went to Gaslight tonight and had the pleasure of meeting Mauv! She's the new manager and she was so wonderful. She made our experience fantastic on top of the amazing food and service. Highly recommend Gaslight!

I've been to this bar 2 times - once as part of my birthday celebrating during their Kentucky Derby day drink, and another time for dinner. They've impressed me both times! I wasn't expecting much from the buffet at the Derby, but it was great! They had chicken nuggets, pizza, chips, and everything else you would've wanted! They also had bottomless drinks but they were a bit watered down. When I came more recently for dinner, we were seated at a high top booth in the back area. The bartender was very nice, we got a margarita and beer. The margarita was strong but a little too sweet for me! We also both ordered the burger, with fries and Mac and cheese as the side. The smashburger was delicious!! Way better than I thought it would be for bar food, I'd definitely get the burger again. The fries were well seasoned and crispy too, and their ranch was so good!! Mac and cheese was just ok. They also had a live DJ who had a great playlist! We also noticed that they have happy hour on the weekdays, and that on Friday they do free burger with a drink until it sells out! So I will definitely be coming back for those deals!

I went here for the Art on Clark private opening party from the Lincoln Park chamber of commerce. Having never been here before, I thought that this restaurant/bar is in a great location in Lincoln Park! An awesome space to people watch, grab a drink, have a bite to eat, and meet up with friends! The covered patio is a perfect place to enjoy some drinks and food, watch sports on a nice day in the city. The long bar is the busiest space in the place, very popular. They have a nice room on the second floor for private events, (which is where we were located). It has it's own bar and seating area. We had mini burgers and pizza, if this is typical of the food that they serve, it was very good. Could definately see myself returning here for a drink or food or both together!

Used to be my favorite spot to grab a drink...and then I learned how good their food is. Now it's one of my favorite bars to grab food and drinks. They're crispy chicken tenders are on definitely on my best tender list in Chicago. They also serve their tenders with every sauce you could ever want. The last time I ate there I left my leftover container on the table by accident and I still have nightmares about it. A recommendation for sure!

update hours. im pissed. i tried to go there tonight and the lights were off i was so sad i wanted to go there. hours on everything said open.... confused sad and disappointed.

Arguably the worst crap I've ever been served. Ordered the honey goat cheese wrap - goat cheese fritters, Asian pear, crispy prosciutto, almond, red onion, with chicken in a roasted garlic vinaigrette. The ACTUAL wrap had a bunch of shredded lettuce and way too much red onion, TWO tiny little goat cheese balls no bigger than a dime, and the "prosciutto" was burnt bacon bits. Dressing was flavorless. And they forgot the chicken. The fries tasted like cardboard. I've had better meals from a community college campus fast food vending machine. Old fashioned was all bourbon and bitters and a friend's prosciutto pizza was an oily, floppy mess with a fist's worth of arugula just piled on top. This place is definitely a "drinks only" bar, should hardly be classified as a restaurant. Just drink here and hit the Taco Bell across the street.

Gaslight is a fun bar with cute margarita glasses and a nice outdoor patio. It's in a good location and they have specials throughout the week. I just came for a margarita on Cinco de Mayo, but the food looked good as well so I may return!

I honestly really like coming here but today I tried to go ( no reservations) and they were booked. I totally got it and just asked how long the wait would be to see if maybe It was reasonable ...the 2 men at the door were extremely rude and seemed coming to their establishment without a reservation was doing them a disservice and a waste of them even opening their mouth to tell me they were booked for the day.

Great time for Sunday funday, they get all the games and have amazing brunch specials. Staff is amazing and atmosphere is great as well. Check it out!

Ordered to go food on their website via Chow Now. Took my payment, sent an email confirmation but never made my food. Manager said it was because the Wi-Fi was down. Funny because I also called twice before I showed up to find out what food was ready but nobody answered the phone. I guess their phones go through Wi-Fi as well..... absolutely terrible service. Would never go back

The service here was all over the place. You walk in and have to sit yourself. There was maybe 2 servers for our section. But it took a while for them to come around. I got the 15 dollar unlimited mimosas but since the servers were all over the place I didn't get to utilize the deal. It took about 30 minutes for get my second glass of champagne. We did mention that to the server and she brought me another glass once it hit 1pm since that was the cut of time for the . On the bright side they do have a little section where you can pour your own juice for the mimosas. They had orange, strawberry and mango. They also had fruits on the side. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries. It came with a lot of sauces which I liked. The chicken was sort of dry so I basically dipped it in the sauces. My boyfriend got the Stallion pizza. He said it was really good and would recommend getting. This place just needs to be more organized when it comes to a serves and it will an awesome place.

Pay attention to how many times they swipe your card. Went here for 2 drinks for a total of $26 dollars. Woke up to an alert from my bank because the bartender tried to charge a $700+ tab to my card before then swiping it for my actual purchase.
