I really enjoyed our visit to Gather. It’s a bit unassuming, so easy to miss but if you’re in the Dogpatch/Potrero Hill/Mission Bay area and looking for a quiet wine bar to unwind at, Gather is perfect. My favorite things: 1/2 pour glasses so you don’t have to commit to a full glass if you didn’t choose a wine you like, though I’m sure the staff would happily change out for you. Actual tasty and decent sized small plates. For $11 we were able to get a plate with slices of duck, pear, and crackers to go alongside. As far as small plates at wineries/wine bars go, this is where I’ve gotten the most value for my $. A calm quiet atmosphere with music playing low in the background. It’s romantic and great for having conversation while you sip a glass (or three).

Had an excellent experience here with a friend. The wine was great, the service was friendly and prompt, and the charcuterie cheese board was excellent. We will be back!

We had an amazing evening! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a nice dinner. Although we don’t drink alcohol, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They even offered us a sparkling non-alcoholic wine, which was delicious and a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back!

Food was amazing, highly recommend the mezze plate and white bean salad! Service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and the wine list was truly well-curated. Will absolutely come back!

Such a gem to have in the neighborhood! The staff are all amazing and welcoming - no wine snobbery here! The atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable - you really feel like Rob, the owner, has invited you into his home. I love the variety of choices on the menu and the fact that they are also working in conjunction with another neighborhood favorite, Marcella’s, to offer their amazing lasagna on Wednesdays and Fridays. Keep an eye on their calendar and newsletter - they are often having fun events. Gather really is a special place.

Huge fan of this place! Great ambiance, Rob the owner is super warm, and the wines are lovely. Not too crowded or loud, but lively enough to not be dead. Just the sweet spot, highly recommend!

Phenomenal experience! We visited for our team's happy hour event, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. We had a great time! This is such a cute and cozy wine bar that opened just a few months ago. We planned this a day before, but they were very accommodating and flexible for a large party like ours, offering various options to make our experience comfortable. We ordered some food, and everything arrived quickly. Highly recommend!

Cute little wine place that opened up in the Dogpatch neighborhood! They serve both wine and small bites. We got seated immediately and service was quick. They also partnered with Marcella's Lasaagneria to serve full meals for a small dining fee.

Went for the first time with a friend and every wine we tried was phenomenal. Our server was very friendly. We were there on a night when you can order from Marcella's. It's takeout/delivery, but they plate it up and serve it to you. We had their own mezze plate too which was good. I wish they had more food options, but the fantastic selection of tasty wines makes up for that. It's a very quaint, cozy place which just has a nice feel to it. Excited to go back!

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! The hubs and I just moved back to Potrero after being in Oakland for 7 years, and were thrilled to see the old Yield spot had gotten a major revamp! The interior is gorgeous and inviting. As soon as you walk in, the friendly staff welcome you and make you feel at home. The manager, Franz, told us about all the wines and was super knowledgeable. We loved our wines and the olive tapenade is not to be missed! Perfect salty snack to accompany wine and the crackers that came with it were so unique and yummy! We will try more food next time. We also met the owner, Rob, who was a very nice guy and welcomed us back to the neighborhood. All in all, a great experience. We can't wait to go back and try more wines. They let you try any wine for a very small ($2-3) fee, which is so nice. Often I feel guilty bothering the bartender asking to taste several wines if I can't find one I like right away. They also let you buy any bottle to go for 30% off the menu price which is great.

This is my new favorite place to sip and swirl wine in San Francisco. The owner and staff are welcoming and well-versed in wine and can help you choose a vintage that is sure to delight. The space is elegant and comfortable. Highly recommend the charcuterie board but really anything on the menu at Gather is excellent, fresh and top-quality.
