A Cat-Themed Pizza and Italian Spot Has Opened at the Warwick Hotel - Eater Denver

"Randolph’s Restaurant and Bar is out and a new cat-themed Italian restaurant called Gattara is in at the Warwick Hotel in Uptown. Thomas Newsted, who previously served as the executive chef at The Perfect Landing restaurant at Centennial Airport, is Gattara’s Executive Chef. According to a press release, Newsted and his team will prepare classic Italian cuisine with a modern twist and a focus on Italian ingredients and seasonal produce. At the heart of the 5,632-square-foot restaurant, which is located inside the hotel at 1776 Grant Street, is a copper-clad pizza oven in which Neapolitan-style pizzas are cooked at 700 degrees for 90 to 180 seconds. Among the pizza options is the Funghi, a hearty vegetarian pizza with sautéed mushrooms, white wine cream sauce, and garlic chili oil. Another pizza on the menu is the Bianco Verde, a lighter white pizza with romesco cauliflower, leeks, and radicchio topped with kale and agrumato. The pizza options also feature several Colorado meats, including a house-made fennel salsiccia, pork cheeks, elk pepperoni, and a Colorado lamb chop. The pizza dough, meanwhile, incorporates the Denver Pale Ale from Denver’s Great Divide Brewery. The lunch and dinner menus will also offer several appetizers, such as a Yukon Gold gnocchi paired with smoked pork cheeks, mache, and giardiniera, and yellowtail crudo with limoncello vinaigrette. Rounding out those menus is a selection of pastas and desserts as well as other entrees. The cocktail menu features both classic cocktails and a selection of specialty drinks, featuring liquors from local distillers Leopold Bros. and Stranahan’s Whiskey. Gattara will also serve breakfast daily, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Among the items on the brunch menu is a vanilla French toast drizzled with butterscotch anglaise. Bottomless mimosas will also be available during brunch. According to a press release, the restaurant’s name comes from an Italian word that’s meaning is similar to the English phrase “cat lady.” This cat theme is carried throughout the restaurant’s decor, which features hidden felines that can be found adorning the wallpaper and other spaces in the restaurant. There is also a large mural of a curious-looking cat behind the bar, which has a capacity of 47. The cat theme is also echoed in the names of the specialty cocktails. Copper accents in the dining room are intended to compliment the space’s feline theme. The main dining room also includes sliding doors that open to a newly renovated patio. That patio, which is dotted with couches and seats more than 100 people, features a fireplace and is outfitted for year-around use. Gattara is now open daily from 6:30am to 10pm." - Paul Albani-Burgio

Nathan was our server and he was friendly and talkative. Went for happy hour drinks and apps from 4-6p. I wouldn’t go here for dinner as the prices are quite high but happy hour was perfect. Had the meat ball, olives, pizza, salad and bruschetta. The bread was a bit dry but everything else was delicious.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food at Gattara was absolutely incredible! The curated menu, freshly prepared, featured a Caesar Salad accompanied by ranch and balsamic dressings; an appetizer of perfectly crafted Bruschettas; a main course of shrimp and chicken served with pasta infused with a rich mushroom sauce; and for dessert, an authentically made cheesecake and delightful cannolis. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t get enough — everyone ate until their hearts were content, and by the end of the evening, not a single item remained. It was a true testament to how exceptional everything was. The chef and team made the entire experience unforgettable. I received countless compliments from my guests who were thoroughly impressed with the meal during the dinner party I hosted in one of Gattara’s banquet rooms. The servers were absolutely fantastic, so helpful and continued to ensure the drinks and food were being replenished throughout the dinner. They helped set up and clean up afterwards. I highly recommend Gattara to anyone seeking outstanding cuisine, impeccable service, and an unforgettable dining experience and needs a banquet room to host a small or big event.

Google
I had the best marinara sauce I have tasted in my life here. It came with the meatball appetizer I ordered and it was so good that even after the meatballs were gone, I was eating the sauce by itself. It tasted fresh and savory. So much better than the canned spaces you get at most other places. Atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Wait staff seemed to be stretched thin. Props to the chef and also the friendly bartender Tanner

Google
Gattara offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with a menu that stays true to traditional Italian flavors. I tried the pasta, which was clearly made fresh and cooked to perfection—al dente with a rich, flavorful sauce that didn’t overpower the dish. The ingredients tasted high quality, and the presentation was simple yet elegant, as you’d expect from a good Italian kitchen.

Google
A wonderful restaurant! Great, attentive servers, a lovely ambience, a fun menu, a great happy hour (4-7) with food and drinks including $5 wine and wells, and delicious food. Everything was well cooked and well seasoned and lovely. We ordered the special octopus, happy hour meatball, the truffle gnocchi with salmon. So so so so good. The mushroom sauce was so luscious and amazing! This is a new gem in Denver and we are so happy to have found it.

Google
I had the pleasure of staying at the Warwick this past week. Gattara was part of that experience as I sampled many of the menu options for dinner. Brendan was the bartender in charge all week. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Brendan also helped me to organize a Social Hour for participants attending a training session on our last night. He made great recommendations on the food and quantities and even went so far to track down tickets for drinks. We had a reserved space for our group as well. Everyone had a wonderful time and continued to rave the next day. I am only sorry that I didn’t take pictures of the food presentation, stunning! I sincerely appreciated Brendan’s hospitality and look forward to my next visit.

Food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the rigatoni. The vodka sauce is so amazing. The Lasagna is house made and you can taste it. Our server Nathan’s knowledge to lead us through the menu and help with suggestions helped out so much. The Happy Hour is a deal as well. The bruschetta flight was fantastic! Nathan gave us a wonderful experience on top of the food. A 10/10

Google
The food at Gattara was amazing. We had pizza, mushroom gnocchi, and chicken marsala. Everything was prepared to perfection. Our waiter Austin was very attentive and accommodating to all our needs. Food and drinks arrived in a very timely manner. We were very impressed. Kid food options were great as well.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was awesome, friendly staff. Awesome atmosphere. Would come again.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our meal! We had chicken tortilla soup, Caesar salad and rigatoni primavera.

Yelp
Service was amazing. Great host staff and waiter. Knowledgeable and friendly. Timing of courses was perfect. I ordered a red sauce pizza and my boyfriend ordered the truffle gnocchi and we shared! Both were very good, pizza was slightly better! Great wood fired pizza. Will definitely come back. Cozy and trendy atmosphere

Yelp
It was a family lunch with my adult daughter after she had just come back from an overseas vacation. She had lots of stories to tell me so to have a nice time with her, I wanted the place to be more than casual. Solid 4 star reviews of Gattara appeared promising when I looked it up on Yelp as the photos to show its ambience looked good. Maybe my anticipation was too high (I should have shown up without any??) but 4-star is simply an overstatement. It's like a rock band that everyone raves about but the fact is, it's so pretentious. Hence, my honest rating of this restaurant is 2.5 star (but I'm giving it 3 to be generous.) Service: it was a little after 11am. The restaurant had barely people in it but service was slow and barely basic. There was a single gentleman (appeared to be a hotel guest; this really is in Warwick Hotel) who appeared to have waited for a GOOD amount of time before he got his food. He even stood up to grab an attention of some worker to ask where his food was before he finally got his food. It didn't take too long to finish his food but once he was done with it, he asked for a check which he had to wait for. He actually had to leave the premises to go back to his car (for his meter??) so he could come back to his table to pay for his tab was the improvement I got. This slowness of service was (unfortunately) extended to me/us. After a female worker (she was the only person in the restaurant who was attentive and nice) filled our glasses with water while I was awaiting my daughter to arrive, she said, "Your server will be right with you." There was at least ten (plus) minutes before our waiter finally came to our table. As my daughter hadn't arrived yet at that point, I asked for a cup of some coffee product (he then told me the only thing the restaurant could make was Americano. Wait, this Italian restaurant can only serve Americano but they can't make cortado or cappuccino or latte??? Very strange..) I had no choice but to order Americano. Well, turns out, this Americano exceeded my expectations. This was the only thing though that was more than decent. Our waiter only came to us to take our orders. He didn't come to ask us how everything tasted or if we wanted a dessert after our meal, you know, those basic things a typical waitestaff asks. He absolutely had no smile on his face; he was just doing absolutely minimal/minimum to get by.) Food: I've already mentioned about Americano that was more than decent. Two plates we ordered (once my daughter arrived) were Dilicata Salad with salmon add-on ($27) and Meatballs ($13). The arugula in the center had more than necessary amount of salt in it. The restaurant should go a bit easier on the salt. Overall though, this dish doesn't simply live up to what's described on the menu. Again, this is a pretentious rock band that is simply overrated for the kind of price for lunch. The meatballs, however, were decent. Although one thing about them was the fact that it may have sat at the kitchen counter for at least 5 to 10 minutes before it reached our table as the meatballs were barely warm. My daughter's mocktail was nothing but sour; its appearance disguised as a quality concoction. I wasn't impressed... Ambience: Despite what I had to say above, I'm happy to say that this place gets a decent score in this category. Spacious and clean is what many will notice. Cat-themed artworks and decors are seen throughout; I find this cute. They also have a spacious patio space. The bar area also appeared nice. Definitely a good place to sit and grab a drink solo or with someone. I wouldn't bother coming back to Gattara driving from my DTC neighborhood just to dine for a simple lunch or dinner. I can simply find something equivalent or even better in my direct neighborhood saving time and gas.

Yelp
6/10 on the location in town - close to the downtown scene without being in it 8/10 for the ambiance - the space is cute and well designed. I appreciated the modern look of the dining area 3/10 for the food - I was not impressed by the food we ordered. The pizza was good and had an edible crust, but the pasta we ordered was in a brown sauce that was salty and tasted like gravy. It was so odd. If they improved their food I would be back, but there are so many other restaurants in the city to try.

Yelp
We discovered this place through Offline and are so happy we did! To start, the host was incredibly welcoming and pleasant and on our way out, he went out of his way to open the door for us. The ambience both indoors and outdoors is really nice and brightly lit. We went on a Wednesday night, but I could see how on a Friday or Saturday it may get loud inside. Our waitress was very pleasant, attentive, and everything came out so fast! We ordered one of the bruschetta's and meatball off of happy hour - both were super tasty! We both agreed the bruschetta was not necessarily what we would consider bruschetta because the bread was very soft, but regardless, it was yummy! We then ordered the pappardelle bolognese and pappardelle short ribs and yum, both were so good! They were also great portions and very well priced, we both left full and with another meal! Very pleased and would definitely return again!

Yelp
I ate here on the short trip to Denver and I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and it was amazing! I would love to go back. We had a large party but the service was still good.

Yelp
Gattara is a pretty space inside a boutique-looking hotel. The dining area is pretty spacious and they also have a wood fired pizza oven. I come here most for happy hour. There's is decent, with drink and food options. The HH food is extra small portions, so it's kinda "happy" hour but might be the actual price of a meatball from a whole meal, maybe, lol. There's a bartender there I really like but service overall has always been very good. This is another spot I learned about from a Yelp event. These events pay off with repeat business!! :) Fun fact, this was the last place I was out at in 2019 for brunch before the world shut down. I'll always remember that and being one of like only 2-3 other tables for like 3 hours, it was crazy!

Yelp
I can't wait to go back! Bring all your friends here and you won't regret it. The happy hour prices really do feel like happy hour. We came in on a Wednesday at 4:30 and there were plenty of street parking as well as it wasn't busy at all inside. There is a wall inside that has paw prints and lots of cat decor. Got sat right away and started to order. The minute we got to ordering! We started off with the flight of bruschetta. Now when I tell you that it was delicious that doesn't even begin to describe the full explosion of flavor that we got hit with. Then came the muscles (pro tip: Ask for the bread because you will don't the sauce go to waste because it tastes so good) when our entrées arrived I had the lobster ravioli and my friends had the zucchini shrimp risotto. I do wanna say that you do get five large raviolis, which they dump a whole bunch of Lettuce mixture that I didn't care for. We then finished off the evening by getting dessert, which was also yummy. Our waiter was very tentative to all of our needs.

Yelp
Came here in a big group and we all loved it so much! We were a group of 12 and the staff helped us with a large table perfect for everyone. Our staff was super helpful and patient with our big group. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. Our table got two bottles of wine and they were so good. Lots of people in our group took to go boxes because we had so much food left. The espresso martini was delicious! If you check in you get a discount which was nice too!

Yelp
The environment and the staff were great. It's a very cute restaurant. Unfortunately the food wasn't so great. I went with a party of 9. All of the food came out fresh and the wait wasn't long but the food was extremely bland. I love risotto and was so excited to try the risotto Milanese but it was a complete letdown as none of the ingredients listed were tasted. My friend had the swordfish which was a special for the day and it was completely over cooked. Multiple people tried the pappardelle short rib and also stated it lacked flavor. The drinks were decent, but overall I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I really wanted to like it but none of the food was worth it.

Yelp
What a stunning sleeper spot! Absolutely gorgeous interior, kitty cat whimsy with comfortable tables/booths. We were greeted and sat by the bartender who was super welcoming and our server was friendly, fun, and had great recommendations. Drinks were stellar. We had a classic dirty martinis and a specialty cocktail followed by happy hour apps of burrata bruschetta with prosciutto and a meatball. Both delicious and an extreme value with happy hr pricing. Pasta time! Do not miss the pappardelle short ribs, the Jack Daniel's sauce and generous portion of short rib had us saying, why tf haven't we been here before!? Gnocchi pesto with shrimp was also a major win. Topped the evening off with pans cotta and espresso martinis. Special occasion or guests in town, this gem inside the Warwick is going to be a staple spot for us from now on. Enjoy!

Yelp
This restaurant has been on my list to try for months and I finally went for my friends birthday and was sadly very disappointed. To start, we had called to make a reservation for 8 (you have to call to make a reservation for a group larger than 6) and when we arrived they had a table for 6 available for us. Instead of accommodating us in their normal seating area, which wasn't full at all, they put our large group at an uncomfortable high top table and weren't flexible at all. Overall, the staff seemed inconvenienced by our presence and we felt like they rushed us through our dinner. If you end up eating here though, I would recommend getting the Pappardelle Bolognese or the Gnocchi Triffolati. The Dilicata Salad was over dressed but the salmon on the side was well cooked. The bruschetta flight and the meatball & marinara from the happy hour menu were good but both could have used a little more flavor. Overall, the food was fine. Also wanted to add that to use the bathroom, you have to go inside the hotel attached and get a code to enter.

Yelp
Excellent! We tried it for restaurant week and were delighted. The food was delicious. The tiramisu was perfectly decadent. Outstanding service. They had the fireplace going which made it cozy and warm. The cat decor in the bar is fun. And TIL, gattara means "cat lady" in Italian. We will return.

Yelp
Recently had an opportunity to try Gattara before an event downtown. I really love the embrace of everything cat; from the menu to the wallpaper it really comes together. Our wait staff was warm and inviting, kept up on refilling our water and moving us through the meal quickly and efficiently. I had the opportunity to try the spaghetti carbonara for dinner and let me tell you they don't skimp on the pancetta for this meal! The carbonara was tasty and not overly creamy which I enjoyed. This is a very heavy meal so the portion is quite large and I couldn't finish the full plate. Overall, not a bad place to dine if you're downtown for an evening!

Yelp
Visited a couple of weeks ago on NYE and won't be back. First, couldn't use the online rezzie system (it just wasn't working or is improperly coded or something) and called about an hour before (at 5:15) we had hoped to arrive (at 6:15) to check on the wait and tables. Were told there was no wait and there were tons of tables. Arrive at the aforementioned time to be told there are no more walk ins for the evening even though the restaurant is essentially empty. We ask to speak to the manager seeing as we've just called, couldnt make a reservation and the restaurant is empty. Thankfully, they agreed to seat us in the bar but offer a four top when we only need a two top. Feels weird to be worried about seating but then offer a bigger table than needed.... Anyway, move on to the two top and order a pizza and salad to share. Turns out, the pizzas are in fact rustic style flatbreads instead of actual sauce-based pizzas. It just feels like if youre going to offer an entire menu of pizzas, the style should be discussed so people know what to expect. The flatbread itself was fine but did have a couple of super small pieces of very hard plastic on top; sort of like the plastic you'd find in packaging of bulk items like arugula, pepperoni, etc. I'm not making any assumptions, just saying that is what it seemed like. They were kind enough to comp the pizza given the plastic (and the server was great the whole time) but honestly, the whole experience was bad from start to finish given the rocky start, poor menu descriptions and the vibe. The dining room didn't manage to fill up in our hour or hour and a half there so I cannot be sure why they were so concerned with tables. Like the wallpaper but it really does feel like a super corporate hotel bar....

Yelp
I was visiting Denver and came across Gattara. My coworkers and I decided to stop by for dinner. There is free valet in front of the hotel. The restaurant has in door seating as well as patio seating. Our server Jeanie was awesome!! She went over the menu with us and gave recommendations. She was on point and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything we ordered was delicious! From the appetizers to the desserts.

Yelp
One block away from the office, perfect lunch get away. We came on lunch time, there are 7 of us and seated right away. Cute decorations, as gattara means cat lady;). Lunch was quick, great service and tasty food. I was having chicken sandwich and unsweetened iced tea. Perfecto!! Tutto va bene!

Yelp
Was staying at the Warwick, the hotel attached to Gattara, and had to check them out for breakfast. I am a bit easy when it comes to breakfast.. Water, coffee and some carbs does it for me. I ordered the oatmeal and some drip coffee. The sole server/host Amanda was very polite and attentive. She was fun to talk to and we enjoyed a quick laugh over some sarcasm while I gobbled down my oats. The restaurant itself is nice and open with adequate spacing between tables for a bit of privacy while still keeping an intimate setting for all diners just in case they felt like mingling. One final note, the bartender last night was super tired and ready to go home but went out of his way to make me drinks from the drink vouchers we were given at the front desk. I must say, the team here is friendly and accommodating. Came back for lunch and the same host seated me in a quiet nook next to the fireplace when she noticed my laptop bag. Decided on the meatball sando which was done right. They cut the meatballs into slices so they don't pop out like many meatball subs out there. There was a good balance of cheese to sauce and the bread was crunchy on one side and soft on the other (the side that soaked up the sauce). Fries were good and a lil oily, and considering I asked for well done, I got what I asked for.

Yelp
Stayed at the Warwick and decided to try Gattara. We ordered the wagyu burger temperature medium, margarita pizza, and Alfredo pasta. The pasta tasted like something out of a can, very bland and no flavor. The Wagyu burger was overcooked and tasted burnt, could not finish it all because it tasted so bad. Amazingly the french fries were also not very good. The pizza was pretty good. However, the quality of the food just did not match the price. Also not a fan of the continental breakfast, which is paid for by the hotel in the morning. The continental breakfast does not come with any protein items and has a very limited selection. Almost feels like the hotel is tricking people by saying they have a continental breakfast, they should be more clear and say that it is a very limited continental breakfast with limited selections of items mostly includes fruit, a pastry, cereal, and jelly.

Yelp
Gattara is an Italian-American eatery located inside the Warwick Denver hotel. We dined at Gattara for the first time for a double date over the weekend and had a wonderful time. We arrived at Gattara and General Manager, Dave showed us to our table. Gattara means cat-lover in Italian and the restaurant had several areas with cat illustrations playfully popping up. Dave ensured we had everything we needed to begin our meal. Our server Chaunty was so sweet and had stellar recommendations. To start I had the La Crema Chardonnay 2020, Sonoma Coast, CA. The chardonnay hit my nose with white florals & lemon; it was juicy on the palate with flavors of crisp apple. Brooke had the Benvolio, Prosecco from Veneto, Italy. The Prosecco was vibrant and crisp and made for a good pairing with Gattara's burrata. For starters we had the Meatballs Bolognaise, Burrata E Prosciutto, and the Crispy Calamari. The Meatballs Bolognaise were made with tomato conserva, grana padano, and served alongside grilled ciabatta. The meatballs were nice & meaty in flavor - a very hearty starter. The Burrata E Prosciutto was made with grilled ciabatta, prosciutto, tomato, tomato jam, and arugula. The burrata was milky, prosciutto gorgeously salty, & the tomatoes bright. The Crispy Calamari was made with arugula, tomato jam, and lemon preserve. The calamari had a nice crisp exterior while it was tender & chewy on the inside. For Pizza we had the Gattara Originali, New World Pepperoni made with tomato conserva, mozzarella, fresh jalapenos, cream cheese, & Applewood smoked bacon. The New World Pepperoni pizza blew us away - it was so good and a must order when dining at Gattara. The pizza was baked in a pizza oven which puffed the crust's edges and made it very thin towards the middle. The cream cheese made for creamy bites & the mozzarella for buttery cheese pulls. The jalapeno's added nice green color to the pie while also lending a snap in texture. The applewood smoked bacon enhanced the pizza with a smoky sweetness. For Entrees we had the Salmone Alla Griglia, Lobster Ravioli, Fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp, & the Spaghetti Fruti De Mare. The Salmone Alla Griglia was made with pesto risotto, cherry tomato, zucchini, roasted peppers, grana, & sweet balsamic glaze. The salmon was mild and delicate in taste while the flavorful mixture of pesto kicked this dish up a notch. The Lobster Ravioli was made with cream, tomato conserva, arugula, & lemon oil. Warm, rich & creamy - each large, square ravioli held a smooth filling of lobster & cheese. The Fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp was made with white wine cream sauce, roasted heirloom tomatoes, grana Padano, & pecorino. The sautéed shrimp were mildly sweet and went well with the nuttiness from the parmesan alfredo sauce. The Spaghetti Fruti De Mare was a Dinner Special and made with white wine tomato sauce, mussels, clams, calamari, & shrimp. The white wine tomato sauce was mild and showcased the seafood in the pasta. The long tender noodles and meaty seafood made for hearty bites. Red pepper flakes added great spice in this dish. For Sweets we had the Housemade Ice Cream Sandwich, Bread Pudding, Cheesecake, & Torta. The Housemade Ice Cream Sandwich was made with fresh baked chocolate chip cookie, vanilla gelato, & caramel rum sauce. The Ice Cream Sandwich was elite. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookie was huge and hugged the cold vanilla gelato in its center. The cookie had crunch & chew at the same time. The caramel rum sauce was sticky, buttery rich and clung to the ice cream sandwich with each dip. A must order. The Bread Pudding was made with brioche, vanilla custard, caramel rum sauce, & vanilla gelato. The bread pudding had our mouths watering. The dessert was baked to perfection and had a wonderful cakey, custardy texture. The brioche was piping hot and the contrast of it against the cold vanilla gelato was delicious.

Yelp
Service was not great. When we ordered drinks my friends stated it was our other friend's birthday excitedly, and all we got was an "okay". She kept sniffling/snorting when she'd get close to one of us. It was gross. I ordered the bolognese. Extremely over cooked noodles. They turned into mush. I make better pasta at home. Another friend had the carbonara. Super over cooked and only took 2 bites and ended up giving it to go to give to a homeless man. MUCH better Italian restaurants in Denver.

Yelp
Went for restaurant week which was a solid value overall. The margarita pizza was good, probably one of the best things we ate there. The bruschetta was underwhelming and soggy. The pappardelle pasta was good but very heavy. The chicken Marsala was good. The tiramisu was very very good but the limoncello cake and the chocolate lava cake were quite underwhelming.

Yelp
Great short rib and pizza!! Chris is the best!! We dined out on the patio and the patio was perfect for our large group!!!!

Yelp
Went to dinner here with a friend before a show downtown and had a great meal. We arrived at 5:30 pm and it was a nice surprise to find out that they have happy hour till 7pm, and you can enjoy it in the dining room. Therefore, we both started out with a glass of wine and a Caprese Salad from their happy hour menu. The salad had a delicious thick slice of mozzarella topped with a fresh tomato slice, arugula, and a nice drizzle of a balsamic glaze. We then split an order of the Jack Daniel's Glazed Short Ribs and the Cheese Ravioli with a Lobster Cream Sauce. The plate of short ribs had two good sized pieces of meat which were very tender and a lot less fatty than I expected. The light sauce was delicious, over the ribs, and was great mixed in to the mashed potatoes. The broccoli and carrots that were served with it were perfectly cooked, and a great accompaniment. The ravioli was good, however there were not any pieces of lobster in the sauce, which I had hoped for. The restaurant has a warm and spacious interior with a beautiful fireplace, and lots of cute cat pics. Our server, Chaunty, was very attentive. It made for a perfect pre-theater dinner and I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

Yelp
We stayed at the Warwick and tried to eat here twice on the weekend. The 1st was Friday for lunch. Walked out before getting served because the waiter/bartender was too busy keeping a couple ladies entertained to take table orders. We were the second table to walk out. We are again there for breakfast the morning we checked out which happened to be Mother's Day. The Mother's Day breakfast buffet that they increased the price by 35$ for a holiday that should be cheaper for mothers! The place was very busy and they had 1 waitress. I guess the 60$ breakfast wasn't enough to bring in extra help. Food is average at best and will never eat here again.

Yelp
Gattara had great food and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. It wasn't very busy when I went which could have led to the exceptional service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the portions. I added salmon to my salad and got a LARGE piece that was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is cat-themed, with fun decor and wallpaper to fit the theme. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining.

Yelp
There is metered street parking nearby. This is a big restaurant connected to a hotel. I got the truffle mushroom gnocchi. It was alright. The mushrooms were pretty flavorful but the gnocchi with the sauce was alright. Portion was decent. My friend got the fettucine alfredo. It literally had no taste... we tried to add salt to help but it didn't. He then used a lemon and squeezed lemon juice on it and said it helped. But yeah, it was super bland. He said the bruschetta was ok. We got 3 free oysters with the bruschetta and those were good. Overall, just meh.

Yelp
We got the Angora cocktail and the Salsiccia pizza- both were awesome. Chris was our server and was great!

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the Warwick hotel. It's right on the corner with a big sign, so it's pretty easy to find. We were excited to eat here because of the pizza and all the cat decor! If you like cats, it has some fun kitty touches. The food I would say was a bit of a let down. The Alfredo wasn't super flavorful and didn't have fresh cheese which takes it to that next top level. Our waitress however was good. She checked on us a couple times, but we did have to wave her down for the check. We went on a Saturday night and it was generously open... no need for reservations! I probably wouldn't go back but it was a cool experience.

Yelp
Its a good Italian restaurant that is adjacent to Warwick hotel. I tried their creamy pesto alfredo pasta and was so content by it. It was tasty and very filling. The portion sizes are big . I really enjoyed their godfather cocktail. Definitely one of top cocktails I've tasted. I also tried their seasonal sorbet, maybe not the best dessert to pair with the rest of the meal. I feel like I should have tried the tiramisu instead. The sorbet itself is good and refreshing. Definitely a good place to try out in the downtown area!

Yelp
The food was very good. We had an exceptional young man wait on us. His name Nathan. He was attentive and very professional. Besides the food, he made the entire experience exceptional.

Yelp
High portions, and it's delish! Service was good... friendly staff! Cute and modern environment with lots of natural light! Just wish outside seating was available!

Yelp
Came in and were expecting a lot more people, I believe it was us, and maybe 2 other tables. We were seated and given water almost immediately. Wait staff was courteous and kind during the whole night. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, but was brought out the wrong dish. Not to worry, we got to keep the wrong dish, and I was given my Alfredo. It was good! Much better than your standard American Italian like Olive Garden. The drinks are well made as well. The inside is nice and simple. Nothing overtly Italian in the decor but that's fine, it doesn't have to be. Parkin is a bit odd here, we parked on the street behind the restaurant which is also connected to the hotel. We'd be back when in the area and craving something a little better than Olive Garden.

Yelp
I came here with my friend this evening, it had been a long week and we were hoping for some delicious comfort food. Wow. I was beyond impressed. First, the atmosphere. I loved the ambient lighting, brightening without being too harsh, which was lovely since both of us can be extra sensitive with sensory things like lighting and sound. The decor was tasteful, welcoming, and delightful with all the cat art, without being remotely cheesy. The seating was comfortable too, with many options. Each person working there that we interacted with was friendly, full of great ideas, and had lovely energy. Now the most important part: food! Sooo impressed. We each had the truffle gnocchi and shared a salad, plus some lovely cocktails. Not only was the food absolutely delicious and beautifully plated, but they also served a truly satisfying amount of food -- no tiny plates here! We were both delighted at the quality of flavorful ingredients. There were so many other intriguing menu items; I hope to come back to try many more!

Yelp
Very much enjoyed the burrata on the special menu! Next time I'm ordering the calzone it looked huge!

Yelp
Food was very good and portion sizes were generous. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of food. Ambiance was charming with the cat lady theme but wasn't over done.

Yelp
Very good food and the server was very professional. The room wasn't too crowded or loud so we could hear each other easily.

Yelp
Delicious Italian food for our anniversary! Great atmosphere and service as well. We had the frutti de mare and short rib pappardelle - portions were large, tasty, and not too expensive. Kids had pepperoni pizzas. My son said it was the best pizza he's ever had!

Yelp
Happy hour deals are amazing- good food, drinks and service. Alfredo is well seasoned and not plain. Risotto was tasty. Spaghetti and meatballs also delicious. Love this place

Yelp
This place was so much fun! They have great prices and the staff is amazing. Service was outstanding and the food was incredible. The ambiance is great you get to see a lot of the restaurant but also a part of Denver. The portions were great and friendly people. Highly recommend for a nice dinner.

Yelp
We visited here for a birthday and had a great time. The pizza was good (rare words from a New Yorker, though the dough was just ok) and I'll definitely have it again. Our favorite was the new age pepperoni, which had jalapeno and was recommended by our server. The Bianca (garlic sauce and sausage) was good also and the kids really enjoyed the regular pepperoni. One of them said it was her new favorite place. The cat theme kept the kids' attention as they kept noticing more of it. They had a good ale on tap and my wife enjoyed the wine. The kids had Shirley Temples, which were exciting for them. We also had the ice cream sandwich dessert with salted caramel dip, which easily fed the 3 kids, and the banana bread a la mode with a Rumchatta shot and cinnamon. I enjoyed that a lot, but thought it was better without the Rumchatta. Our server was great, attentive, and had a positive demeanor.

Yelp
I had the Funghi pizza to go. The pizza amazing and the guy who greeted me at the door was super attentive and directed me to the bar to pick up my order. The inside of here is also beautiful and intimate for a nice date.

Yelp
Great hotel, walking distance to downtown Denver. Nice big rooms. Really fun atmosphere in the bar and awesome bartender Brendan. Can't go wrong staying here and hanging out for a few days.

Yelp
Chaunty was our waitress and she delivered terrific service- in fact everyone was quite attentive. The food was excellent. We came here for restaurant week and each of our courses was well-prepared.

Yelp
The inside was beautiful and we didn't have to wait long to be seated and our food came out quickly! The pizza was amazing and I loved the crust. Overall, I would say the pastas were pretty good. I'd like to try other dishes the next time.

Yelp
I hosted my friend's bachelorette party and ordered all the food from Gattara. We were all blown away by how amazing the food was. It traveled well up to Vail. We had lasagna, grilled chicken, contadina salad, truffle gnocchi, caprese salad, chicken marsala and chicken piccata. Everyone loved it! Highly recommend Gattara for parties and events. Plus dining in has a great vibe.

Yelp
I really don't know about the pizza and the pics of the place look very cool... and I literally live so close... However, this review is in reference to multiple times that I have delivery ordered their burger and fries! I order it well done with no mayo and it comes with fries and it's the perfect savory with a touch of sweet from the bacon tomato jam. It's um definitely my "monthly" go to. It one hundred trumped my former Five Guys crush for the monthly craving situation. It's the perfect portion and tastes fresh fresh fresh!!!! I am new to Denver and I see that there are a ton of burger places. Maybe they all taste this good? Even if they do, this is my neighborhood go to and I WILL experience the dining area at some point soon!

Yelp
Go here for dinner, not breakfast. We ate from here thrice since we were staying at the Warwick hotel, and the first dinner was fine, I got the sausage pasta and my fiancé got steak. Huge portions and my fiancé loved his steak. The second day, we ate here for breakfast which I thought was quite bland overall. Our server that morning was super wonderful though despite being the only staff there! At night, we ordered room service and their fettuccini Alfredo is one of the better ones I've had! Definitely impressed me and so did the pizza. Our room didn't have a microwave but even the next morning when the pizza got cold, I didn't get a chance to heat them up at home because my fiancé devoured it!
