Gazette Restaurant & Wine Bar

Everything was very tasty, the menu is short but very refined, the waitresses (very sweet) continued to check on us with the right tempo. we will definitely be back!

Saw this place while walking by: it looked so cute and cozy that I returned with a friend for dinner yesterday. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer our questions and make recommendations. The menu options are more limited than other restaurants but everything is so fresh, simple, and delicious that we didn’t mind. We each had a couple cocktails and were impressed by the taste and creativity. (PLUS it was happy hour and they were only $12). I was so happy with our experience and will return.

Love this new neighborhood gem. Drinks were good. I tried the fig cocktail and also a glass of the Super Tuscan. Impressed with both. Limited food menu but everything was extremely tasty and well executed. My favorite by far the scallop small plate. We also enjoyed the steak and pasta dishes (generous portions). Glad it’s only a block from my place and I can stop by anytime, even just for a glass of wine or cocktail at the bar. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our dinner for 3 in this intimate, yet well lit and bustling restaurant. It has the vibe of a classy friend's cozy home/European neighborhood bistro. We had 3 of the 4 entrees and loved every one (Rigatoni with walnut pesto, Salmon with a horseradish cream garnish, chicken with Za'atar, yogurt, baby fennel and chick peas). We shared the gem beet salad to start and finished with the Ricotta and Pear Cream Cake, also stand outs. Service was as good as the food. Tried 3 different wines, each was terrific. Even the tap water was served nice and cold! Highly recommend!!!

Well we are here tonight and that was one of the best meals I had in years. The seasonal menu was fantastic! Started with the soup which was very fall weather and absolutely delicious. The loin with wild mushrooms was just insanely amazing! Topped up with some great red wine ending in the Grenache Tart. You just need to go. Like now!

Not long after opening, this place has already become like a home. I know this place is a wine bar, but the cocktails made my bartender Maddie are exactly what everyone wants. If sangria is even a little bit your thing, you can’t miss trying hers - perfect mix of wine and not too sweet. As much as I love a happy hour there and hanging at the bar, the quaint restaurant has such good food; it makes for a great date spot! Highly recommend!

The food is excellent! These guys know how to cook! We’ll be back. Very cute local spot. Service was great, we had a great meal with wine and loved it!

Spectacular food, menu changes quarterly and in many visits I’ve always been blown away. Friendly and helpful staff. Drinks of a quality to match the delicious food. One of, if not the best restaurant in Yorkville.

Cozy and tasteful european-style restaurant with a small but thoughtful menu. Great place for a nice weeknight dinner with wine!

Had a positive experience at Gazette! It's cozy and pleasant inside. Staff was friendly. Portions are modest so I recommend at least an appetizer and entree per person if not two entrees. I would also appreciate the ability to order a non-alcoholic beer. I'll likely be back!

I think Gazette is a good addition to the Yorkville neighborhood. Super cozy vibes and surprisingly a big restaurant with seating options although my boyfriend made us a reservation on a Thursday evening just in case. I would love to see non-alcoholic beers on the menu in the future and just consistency among the online menu and the menu in the restaurant as when we went it was different. The staff was really friendly and I can see myself returning. Thanks!

We to restaurant on Friday night. Busy place. Seated at bar right away. Had a couple of cocktails. They were great, Had the pasta entree. Delicious. Could eat that every day. Bartender was attentive. Would definitely go back.
