Felt like pizza after flying all day and having been through Chicago. Great, affordable spot with numerous choices. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. To top it off there's so many gelato options after you finally decide on pizza flavors.

Google
I’ve tried many pizzas in my life, but nothing comes close to the ones at this place. The flavors are absolutely incredible, and each pizza is baked to perfection — crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The variety they offer is amazing; there’s something for everyone, from classic Margherita to unique gourmet combinations you won’t find anywhere else. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you’re a pizza lover, this place is a must-try. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had!

Google
Amazing Roman style pizza and gelato. I have been a few times now and believe they are worthy of their accolades! Inventive flavors and consistent quality. Highly recommend coming at least once. Small amount of counter seating plus some tables on the sidewalk.

Google
Awesome place for an interesting variety of small portion of pizza as well as gelato! I loved trying different variety!

Google
Adorable little spot in North Park. My husband and I stopped for gelato. I wish we had been wanting to eat the pizza. The gentleman behind the counter was so very sweet and kind and had us try all the delicious different flavors. Everything tastes homemade and the flavors are fantastic! Will definitely be coming back

Google
This little spot is a hidden treasure! The staff is so kind. The ice cream is amazing perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and tastes so natural. The cones are super fresh and crispy. Their pizzas are just as great, with delicious dough and generous, high quality toppings. A must visit spot for both ice cream and pizza lovers!

Google
Anyone who is rating this place under a 5 stars clearly has never been here. Food, friendliness, and service is all perfect! Not to mention the prices are unheard of for 1. North Park 2. Post Pandemic Inflation. You cannot be disappointed here I promise. Every slice is unique and full of flavors. No option will leave you disappointed (or hungry). I look forward to anytime we are near the area so that I have an excuse to go get Gelati & Peccati. Do yourself a favor and visit this place for either the pizza, the gelato or both. Youll be pleasantly surprised! Thank you G&P for always being incredibly friendly even in the craziest of times.

Google
AMAZING PIZZA AND GELATO! My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and got a vegan and a vegetarian slice and both were delicious, and they have vegan cheese. multiple vegan gelato options, all delicious, we got lemoncello and strawberry together and it was delicious. definitely would come back if ever in San Diego again. The employees are nice. The guy serving gelato had me try his favorite one on the menu, the cookie one and it was amazing. 10/10 would recommend. $6 for a slice of delicious and authentic pizza.

Yelp
I don't think words are needed to describe perfection. The pizza is absolutely what I love. Great texture, taste, and creativity. The staff are extremely friendly. Christie is lovely. The restaurant establisment might be small but it is inviting. I particularly enjoy the decorations of pizza holders and ice cream cones on the wall. Loved everything about this place. Absolutely eat and enjoy this restaurant.

Yelp
A whole window filled with 20 different pizza slices caught my eye, and I knew I had to walk inside! Margherita Pizza: 5/5 Margherita pizza is simple and delicious. The tomato sauce is one of my favorites I've tried. The drizzle of olive oil on top was a great addition. The crust was warm and fluffy. Service: 5/5 There was only one man working when we came in, and he was so kind. He answered our menu questions and gave us samples of their gelato! Ambiance: 4/5 The inside looked clean. There is a public restroom and a few small seats. I do wish there were bigger tables to eat at, but I know the space is limited. Overall: The selection is crazy here--you should definitely give this place a try!

Yelp
Don't let this tiny, nondescript, no frills hold in the wall pizzeria and Gelateria deter you! THE PIZZA HERE IS AMAZING!!! Not sure what the crust it is, but its got that Roman square style thick crunch that doesn't exist anywhere else San Diego. As on their website "Simply Natural Roman-style Pizza al Taglio. A variety of one-of-a-kind pizzas...". The toppings and styles change daily it seems, with at least a dozen different tempting choices. I've had a variety of them, the mushroom is always favorite. The meaty ones are fantastic too. About $5-6/slice.

Yelp
Very nice, friendly people. It's dark inside. I guess it's a spot for people who are hungry after leaving the bars. The gelato are a hit but the pizzas were a miss. The pizza slices looked good but the flavors weren't for us.
google avatar

Yelp
Christian was amazing and attentive. There are a ton of options to choose from and the atmosphere is decorated super nice, makes you actually feel like you are in Europe. The pizza is hot and makes you wanna get more, (which is exactly what I did after we demolished it) The gelato was very creamy, fresh and shareable. The prices are reasonable, you genuinely get what you pay for. We will be coming back for sure :)
google avatar

Jade S.

Yelp
Very kind staff. They allowed us to try several different flavors. Gelato was creamy and delicious. A little too sweet for me but still yummy. I was hoping for a coffee espresso flavor to combo with my amaretto but they didn't have one at the time. Biscoff was still delicious
google avatar

Yelp
This place is exceptional. I went to the one in Escondido and it's also great but this one has a great ambience. Excellent service. Great selection of some of the best pizza that you're gonna find. Also some of the best gelato I've had. With unique flavors and quality ingredients. Highly recommended.

Yelp
After an event, we stopped by Gelati & Peccati and had an amazing experience with both their pizza and gelato. The pizza is sold by the slice, with a wide variety of options, including vegetarian, vegan, and meat-based choices. They even offered to drizzle truffle oil on my slice before putting it in the oven and asked if I preferred it soft or crispy. Once ready, the staff brought it over to us at the small bar seating area. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Afterward, we enjoyed some gelato, which was just as incredible. The flavors were rich and authentic, making it the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality food. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a casual evening out, Gelati & Peccati is a great choice. They also offer a selection of wines, beers, Italian drinks, and water. I highly recommend stopping by for some delicious pizza or gelato--you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Wow. First time here. Pizza was great. Service was good and sitting outside was a delight. Enjoy!

Yelp
Stumbled across this pizza and gelato spot while bar hopping in north park. WOW the pizza was amazing. There was a small line when we got here. It is open until 1am. Didn't remember which one I got but it was crispy and so much flavor and lots of ricotta cheese. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
We came here for pizza after grabbing drinks and we were all really pleased with our food. There are so many pizza options available and I love that they are displayed so you can see them visually. The man taking our order was very polite and kind as he took our order and helped us figure out which one we wanted. I chose one that had mushrooms, pepperoni, and hot honey and one that had mashed potatoes. The pizza was warmed up in the pizza oven which made them so good! The one with mashed potatoes was a little plain for me, but my friend enjoyed it. Overall, I would come back for their pizzas and would love to try their gelato! The seating is sort of like bar seating, but facing the wall.

Yelp
Their pizzas, drinks and costumer service are unreal. . My favorite is the margarita and provalone pizza.

Yelp
We came here per my sister's first experience here. It is a little place in North Park and seemed to be pretty promising at first glance. There were people inside and outside eating and a window filled with different types of pizza. Upon entering, we were not greeted or welcomed at all. Two of us actually got to use the bathroom after a long car ride down to SD before the guy even came out to say anything to us. We ordered a few pizzas and saw that one slice on one side of the counter was not as thick crust as the pizza on the other side of the widow. We kindly asked the guy to grab one from the other side of the window and he grabbed it. However, he grabbed it with an attitude, set it aside the other slice, and told us there was nothing different about ti and that everything there was the same. We did not appreciate the attitude and his response. If he did not want to give it to us, he could have just kindly declined instead of making it a big deal. we proceeded to order the rest of the pizzas and waited about 10 minutes for it to come out. When it did come out, we realized he forgot one of our slices and also did not ring us up for it. At this time, we were just over it and decided we would fill up at a different spot. They also did not have the Margherita pizza that we were looking for. Overall, I would say this was not the best place I have had. I felt like the topping combinations were different, but the overall taste of them was just average. I don't think I will be keeping this place on my return to list.

Yelp
OMG!!!!! I read about this place a couple years ago and WHY oh WHY have I NOT tried until today????? The BEST pizza in the area, perhaps even the city, (okay, that's pushing it, there is ONE place in Little Italy whose name is escaping me that is RIGHT up there) and we tried three different slices and I cannot wait to go back and try more! The quality and the variety are sublime, the crust and ingredients are so pure and amazing and there is not a gooey awful surplus of cheese and sauce like everywhere else, just pure goodness, beautiful light crust, airy and delightful, balanced ingredients without cheese being the star, thank goodness! SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is seriously good food and there should be a line out of the door ALL of the time!!!! One of the best of the BEST!!!! Why oh why can't we have one in East village where I live, pity! Keep up the good work guys, you have new regulars!!
google avatar

Rosa M.

Yelp
I love that it's open late night! Many great options for some pizza and also great gelato flavors! There is some indoor seating but it can be busy. Staff is super nice and service is quick

Yelp
On 4-5 occasions I've called in to request a take out order for 3 IRA, a very simple order. And on every occasion they are never ready, each time they always say come on over will have them ready by my arrival time, always asking an ETA, as if they were preparing my order. This time after waiting for 10 minutes, they said they were sold out clearly they didn't even try to set aside my order and made my trip to their restaurant a waste. It's ok if this has happened only once, but this has been the norm for them. No point in visiting this establishment anymore consistency just isn't there and poor customer service. Visit Mr. Moto down the street much more reliable.

Yelp
Pizza was great Service was great. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon. Wish there was more employees to help out.

Yelp
UPDATE. Was on a pizza hiatus from this place and I'm glad to be back. My first review of this place was when it first opened. I've been here countless of times for my pizza crave. But then the last visit (back in 2022) I refrained my business due to the fly issues inside the restaurant. Recap: there use to be a ton of flies, stepping on the pizza as you order, I had brought this to the staffs attention and got no kind of response. I messaged their IG account and was left on read. No response. I have returned after a 2-yr hiatus and saw a door screen - which does prevent those pesky flies from coming in and stepping all over the pizza! That made me happy. PIZZA tasted nearly the same but something about the quality went a little down. I ordered my two usual and they didn't wow me as they use to. In addition, I asked "no oil on the pizza" (they always add oil on the pizza after warming it up and serving) and they didn't listen. I got oil on my pizza. Still a good pizza, I love the crust and the variety of flavors. Gelato is amazing here. Quality just fell a hair short in my opinion.
google avatar

Allyn P.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for gelato and espresso. I got the affogato and it was amazing. Presentation could have been a bit better but it was still amazing nonetheless

Yelp
This place may be so incredibly happy! I went on a Thursday night with a couple friends and was absolutely amazed by the variety and beautiful pizza selections produced by this place. The owner is super kind, and explain to us his pizza. Even the staff jumped into the conversation, and shared their favorite pizzas and gelato. The place overall is pretty small there's a few bar type seats along the back wall, and a few tables outside. But everything is very clean, And very put together. Let's talk about the food. This is Roman style pizza, something that most Americans aren't familiar with. But let me tell you what it is: it is the lightest, crisp, and fresh tasting pizza you can get. The pizza almost has the spring of focaccia, but just not as high . The flavors are clean and light and just a joy to eat. I had a slice of their cheese pizza and thought I was eating fettuccine Alfredo on top of a pizza. It was outstanding! I also had a slice of their spicy salami and artichoke. Again, another winner All things considered, this place was absolutely incredible and I will definitely head back here the next time I'm in San Diego.
google avatar

Chris V.

Yelp
Great food and a damn good spritz, it's like I never left Italy! The 3 slices and soda for $21 is a great deal and the olive oil orange zest gelato was soooo good, the toffeee one was also baller. Great service.
google avatar

Khamphone K.

Yelp
We were strolling around North park after brunch and decided to go in for gelato. Upon entering, it was very warm inside and a small space. They sold pizza on one end and gelato on the other end. We asked for samples and they were nice about it. I went with toffee butterscotch and dark chocolate. My favorite was the dark chocolate, it was creamy and delicious. You can tell they used top tier ingredients. Next time I will have to try their pizza, it all looked so good! Pros: great staff, clean shop, cute decor Cons: street parking is limited around the area and inside the shop can be warm.

A. B.

Yelp
Fluffiest pizza ever, but the two pieces for each of us were not filling at all. Red sauce was very bland, more like crushed tomatoes with a little salt; I added Balsamic glaze and salt to enhance mine. My sweetie got two white sauce ones, but I didn't get pictures; I do know one had truffle oil? Gelato I had was a bit over -churned and tasted more of coffee hazelnut butter. But the olive oil with orange zest was good. Seating limited inside and out, definitely more of a grab and go unless you plan on eating a lot.
google avatar

Grace N.

Yelp
Wow, this pizza was super light, airy, and crisp. I really enjoyed this style and I would absolutely come back! The only complaint is that there were some flies buzzing around the case. They could put some some of those batter operated fans to keep the flies away. Each slice was really delicious though and I've never had a bad slice here. Again, the dough is unreal and sooo satisfying to eat.
google avatar

Sarie K.

Yelp
Still a solid slice. I got a pepperoni for my spouse and another one with pepperoni, mushrooms, and Mike's Hot Honey on it for me. Served at the perfect temp. Delicious!
google avatar

Brandon C.

Yelp
Excellent Roman-style pizza place. Usually have a lot of flavors available-traditional pepperoni but also more unique ones like turkey and cranberry or pistachio and mortadella. 3 slices is usually more than enough for two people, as the toppings and crust are generous. The gelato is amazing as well, always packed with a punch of flavor. It feels like you could get drunk of just a spoonful of the amaretto or makers mark flavors, and the Oreo one tastes more Oreo-like than a cookie. Their unusual flavors really shine though: orange and olive oil, lavender and rose, etc. Even the "small" cup is a heaping serving size.
google avatar

Vanessa T.

Yelp
This is the perfect late-night joint. The pizza was quickly heated up and was a good deal. There's not much seating inside but there are a few tables outside to enjoy your food. The vegan pizza was passable, I would definitely go with a non-vegan pizza next time. Staff were helpful with questions and attentive.
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
I have to say the pizza is super overrated in my opinion, but the gelato is great (not quite at the level of Figaro, located across the street and a block to the right, but still worth it). Their yogurt gelato is really special, their pistachio is not bad, it was my second favorite. 4/5 - Gelato: really solid gelato and a variety of flavors, they're very generous in letting you try several different samples. I was very happy with my selection, my only regret was not getting the large size! 2.5/5 - Eggplant Parm Pizza: had a weird after taste and lacked any unique flavor, pretty disappointing, it seems like most of the pizzas here are definitely a skip. More of a gelato spot IMO. Service: 4/5 Value: 3.5/5 (pizza is not worth it, gelato is, this is a combined value score) Overall: 4/5
google avatar

Mursalin H.

Yelp
Decent roman style pizza and decent gelato. But for north park, Amongst other amazing pizza, gelato and Italian place, it may have to create a niche. It didnt look like it. Good food nevertheless.
google avatar

Jeanette J.

Yelp
Very tasty and lots of options to choose from! This place really thinks outside the box with their flavors and pizza combinations.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Got the lasagna pizza and another one I can't remember because it was unremarkable. The service was great. People were nice. The pizza was ok the crust was kind weird. Like really chewy. The cheese was melty but idk the crust just wasn't good.
google avatar

Alberto C.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem in North Park. Place was amazing. I loved the food and gelato they have there. Customer service was amazing. Friendly staff they're willing to help you out and give recommendations. The vibe is chill.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband's favorite dairy free chocolate Gelato he has ever had in his whole life! Besides great dairy flavors. Also, the pizza is yummy and fresh. We love picking out a few pieces to eat there on the sidewalk or take home. It's easy, it's delicious, it's small, it's cute, and it's interesting! It's worth a stop.
google avatar

Spencer R.

Yelp
I usually go to the one in Encinitas but this one caught my eye. They had a pizza I have never seen before. I just came from seeing bbno$ so I had to stop in and get one. My ow my. Was the pizza good. It had jam on it and turkey. Wish I remember the name of it or took a photo but damn!!! The art is nicely decorated inside. Even for a tiny spot. This is by far my favorite pizza spot with artistic pizza creations. I hope to see them in Cruisin Grand season or the north county mall. Such great food and people!!!
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
Everything looks fabulous in this place. A+ for food presentation. I had gelato the egg & white chocolate taste like decadent vanilla with white chips. So good. Also had the banana walnut Carmel swirl. I should've chose something else tho because it was way too sweet. (But deliah) I got a medium because the cups were small. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. So good.
google avatar

Red N.

Yelp
I'd seen this place on yelp and elsewhere and just found myself walking by one day when they weren't busy so figured I'd try it. There was only one other person in there and they were eating. Man I knew from the pictures I'd that they really had a bunch of unique pizza flavors but having them all right there staring you in the face was kinda nuts. There were just a lot of cool pizza ideas. I chose three random ones that looked good after asking the guy working some questions and then he put them in the oven. While I waited he saw me looking at the gelato and just gave me a ton of samples. Holy crap I'm a fan. Orange zest and bourbon flavors were wild. Pizza came out and I ate one there and the other two later. These three awesome pizzas and a beer for $22 isn't bad honestly. I meant to write a review immediately so I wouldn't forget his name but it was Zeki or something and he is from Turkey. Cool guy and his customer service was 20/10. Highly recommend this place
google avatar

Bernadette S.

Yelp
Popped by here for something sweet after an event at queen bee. Lots of flavors to choose from but none that are the usual suspects. I ended up with the coffee hazelnut and it was tasty. The pizza on display looked good. If im ever in the area, i will probably try the pizza.

Cha P.

Yelp
Pretty good but worth busing once in a while:/ love the bread texture and freshness of topping! 3-4 options for vegetarian menu

Nicole R.

Yelp
Amazing pizza and gelato ! Mateois super friendly and courteous! I will be coming back often !! Love love love!
google avatar

Cherish F.

Yelp
I love this place so much! All the pizza is amazing, I love their unique sodas, and they let you sample all the ice cream. The prices are great and service is wonderful as well. Also dog friendly.
google avatar

Courtney L.

Yelp
It's a small space with a few tables outside. Service was great and friendly. You place your order and they heat your slices up. The cacio Pepe slice was a 5 but the other one needed more cheese for me. I love that you can order individual slices. Overall it was good just needed a little more toppings for me.
google avatar

Yannis A.

Yelp
This is a small restaurant right I the heart of coastal Encinitas which means two things; it's right in the middle of a busy area which is awesome as far as choices are concerned but be prepared to "fight" for a parking spot. Parking is difficult to find but that shouldn't deter you from trying to sample the super delicious pizza that this restaurant offers. I will base my review on their pizza and not their gelato which is average, at best. When I first saw the crumb, I thought (as a big and devoted) sourdough starter user) that's this dough has to be made with sourdough starter; I asked one of the managers and he confirmed that. It's very light, tasty, and won't blot you. Not cheap, $5.95 on average for two small slices but well worth it, not loaded with salt, a wide array of not very common toppings. It's a must!

Francesco Z.

Yelp
Best slice of pizza you can get in San Diego. Great varieties, real Roman style. The ice cream is also good
google avatar

Seetha G.

Yelp
My DH had visited this pizza and gelato place multiple times after stopping by the neighboring place with friends. I mistakenly assumed his rave reviews were fueled by whiskey but I was soon corrected after visited this place with my kiddos on a weekday afternoon. It was completely empty but we were greeted by a tempting selection of pizzas on display at the window and a very warm welcome as we stepped in. We chose to try a few different pizzas and they were warmed up and served on a nice beautiful long wooden boards, each rectangular portion of pizza having being neatly cut in halves. We quickly polished off all the different slices that we tried- our family favorite being the Ricotta e Mortadella pizza and the Cacio e Pepe pizza... And just when we thought the meal couldn't get better, we moved onto gelato... the gentleman helping us was so patient handing out samples, asking the kids if they preferred fruity vs sweet flavors before suggesting flavors to try... the kids fell in love with the suggested samples and chose to have a cup of the Blood Orange and Grapefruit sorbet...they were delightfully refreshing and so flavorful! I know that my entire family can't wait to go back to try more of their delicious food. Absolutely LOVE!!

Caleb lol

Yelp
Best rose water and lavender ice cream!!! the best is so good to 10/10! I lowkey think this is better then all them dessert places
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here numerous times and absolutely love it! Perfect place to pop in and grab some amazing pizza or gelato. There are numerous types of pizza to choose from that are premade. You make your selection and they heat it in the oven then give it to you. Portions are great and the pizza is so good! Big fan of the prosciutto with truffle oil. If you want high quality pizza without the wait and hassle of a restaurant this is for you! Please note this is more of a hole in the wall, straight shot in and out so I don't recommend for large groups or if you want to sit down and eat as you may not get a seat.
google avatar

Candace C.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and gelato! We no ordered three slices for here and they brought it out on a wooden board. The favorite was the Lussuria slice with prosciutto, potatoes, cheese and truffle oil (photo for reference). Service was great, very friendly! Note that it's a small narrow shop but bar seating inside and tables out on the sidewalk.
